Finally someone who says the fucking truth. L*rs is not and never was a good "brother". He uses silent manipulation to fucking control Hans, and never even asked "how was your day?" "Do you feel bad?" "How can I fucking help you?" HE DIDN'T EVEN WAS THERE WHEN HANS WAS STARVING AND FED WITH FUCKING SCRAPS. And people still portray him as either "sexy dilf" or "uwu" Milo Thatch from Atlantis ripoff. Why you can't see the truth, that he stood silent and DID NOTHING, even if he had 100000 times in his fucking life to save Hans or at least help him once? i have read a other opinion to think this waay but...

Already talk about it but Lars is by far the most problematic of the two in their relationship. I want to said imo....but like I just can’t see how is hans the worst brothers and disrespectful when we knows Lars behavior ( which yes is subtle and not very explicit) but it is said in the book : all the brothers are there at the queen birthday « beneath his father boom hans could hear the voice of his 12 older brothers » I mean I like his character but I do find his behavior wrong later in the book that’s hans who go see him in the library not him that’s him who talk about yesterday debacle not Lars also he said did you comes at the dock again that always makes you moody ? but hans got at the dock immediately after the party so that’s the first time they saw each other’s since the events first time and thats hans who go see him not Lars and it was yesterday. So the whole events happen and Lars didn’t even get to got some news about his brothers that has been humiliated in front of everyone ? That’s only when hans come to see him that he thought about saying « how are you ».

Ok maybe there I m thinking to much but that definitely means the character is taking the route I love my brother I want the better for him let’s just close our eyes let’s say I have see nothing and enjoy my time with him the rest that’s just so upsetting let’s forget about it. and that I do find that problematic and that’s worse that Hans disliking Lars be over passionate about history. 🙄🙄🙄

The rage of the sea

"We always feared that her powers were too great for this world."

It wasn't the power, it was people who were filled with fear and jealousy. The people who would do anything to harm her and Ahtohallan.

Elsa didn't remember how it happened. Stripped of half her soul, she fell off the icy peak into the Dark Sea and closed her eyes. The waves carried her away. Nature would not touch her beloved daughter. The sea carried her, lulling her on the waves, away from the dangerous place. To the South.

It was a dark stormy evening when Hans came ashore. In the distance he could see the blurred silhouettes of the other isles. He was tired and gave himself to the wind with a relief. The element tried to tear his hair, to beat his long worn blue cloak, gnaw at his bones. It had a fury and rage he had long lost, and he loved it.

He couldn't but notice her. A lone lifeless figure on the grey rocks, the surf caressing her feet. The stranger lay face down, her long dark curls fanned out around her head, her thin black dress tattered beyond recognition. As Hans ran to her, the rain began to fall. Strangely, it seemed to him that there between the raindrops, he heard a voice, a song gentle and wistful. It was like a mirage.

"My lady!" he called out in a panic; of course it was useless. She was unconscious. He rolled her over onto her back. She was still breathing. Her skin was sankissed as if she'd spent a lot of time in the sun, but her hands were soft and never knew peasant labour. Hans covered her frail body with his cloak and took her in his arms.

He carried her to his cabin. Once long ago he had carried a fainting woman from her ice palace in his arms in the same way...He had almost forgotten.

His dwelling was just outside the castle wall. Hans gently laid the stranger on the bed and lit the paraffin in the lamp. It became almost cosy. He wanted to put the kettle on the cooker, but suddenly he noticed the stranger was feverish. She was thrashing about on the bed, muttering something unrecognisable. Hans knew there was no other way. Of course he would have to get help. He covered her with a blanket, walked out into the rain and headed for the Castle, his former home.

"You found a woman on the beach? And brought her home?" stunned, Lars repeated. He was wrapped in a dressing gown, ready for sleep, his glasses glittering blindly in the candlelight.

"I did," explained Hans impatiently, "And I need medicine, and for Olga to give her some clothes—"

"You can't keep her with you, Hans. You're unmarried, and it's inappropriate."

"All right, all right. Then I'll move her here, and—"

"And we'll take care of her, Hans." Lars' wife, Princess Olga, came out. "The Southern Isles will show the poor thing their hospitality. You have nothing to worry about."

Hans sighed, and he and Lars walked out. "Why did you help her?"

"Why not?" snorted Hans.

After all, he wanted nothing from the stranger. She could give him nothing, just as he could give her nothing. She was as lost and deprived of everything as he was. Nothing stood between them.

In the cabin Lars poured the contents of an apothecary's vial down the stranger's sore throat and held a porcelain box of smelling salts under her nose. The girl stirred, coughed, then sat up abruptly and opened her eyes. They were the darkest shade of blue and wild as the sea beyond the mica window. She stared at Hans, straight into his soul, smiled strangely, and then passed out again.

It was srange. If it weren't for the obvious fact that he was seeing her for the first time in his life, Hans would have thought he'd known her before. That's she was the one he's been looking for all his life.

He picked her up again, cradled her in his arms, and carried her to Olga's boudoir, warm, luxurious, better than everything Hans could offer the stranger. "Thank you, Hans. You did all you could for the girl."  She closed the door in his face.

"How is she?" he asked Lars the next day.

"Better. But she's a strange case. She refuses or can't talk. She just sits and stares out of the window. I can tell you one thing, brother mine, your stranger is a noble woman. God only knows what she's been through. There's been nothing in the news yet about shipwrecks...I don't know what to think..."

Hans took off his boots muddy with horse dung, replaced them with his only clean fashionable shoes, and tied a fresh magenta tie. Then he went up to the Castle, holding his breath when passing his Father's chambers. The stranger was sitting on an ottoman, cuddled in several cashmere shawls. She wore Olga's pearly grey dress, her hair was carelessly tied up with a blue ribbon. In the light of the pale evening sun her golden skin seemed to glow. There was something wrong about her, something strange and lost.

When she saw Hans, she straightened up and stared at him. Hans sat down at her feet on a velvet footstool. "Hello. How are you feeling today? What's your name? Where is your family?"

She was silent for a long time. "Do I know you?" was the only thing she said.

"Not that I know of." Though everything in him sang the contrary, that they had a bond, sometime, somehow. "Please tell me what happened." he pleaded softly and soothingly. "Let me help you. Please."

"I don't remember. I don't remember anything." The stranger shook her head, wrapping herself more tightly in the cocoon of shawls. "It's all like a mist. But I think...my name is Elisabeth. Yes, Elisabeth...it sounds familiar."

"Welcome to the Southern Isles, Elisabeth." Hans smiled charmingly.

Olga said that Hans was the only one "Elisabeth" spoke to. She was afraid of the others, she refused to leave the room. Since that day, Olga has often seen the two of them like this. Hans would sit on the footstool and talk, or read something to their guest, or play to her on the piano, or serve her the evening tea. Olga did not like Hans, she only tolerated him for Lars' sake, but she could not help realising that the stranger was clearly a good influence on the forsaken black ship of the family.

Olga did not know that when Lars wanted to put an advertisement in the Scandinavian Herald in the hope that Elisabeth's relatives would respond, Hans had stolen the letter and burnt it at the kitchen.

Weeks later, Elisabeth felt better and began leaving the room. To the library with Hans or to the rose garden. She liked to stand on the balcony and look at the sea, at the North, as if it was where her true home was; her home, lost and forgotten. When Hans showed her the stables, he noticed that she was an experienced rider. "I think I loved horses. Very much." she murmured, stroking the silky mane of a white horse.

"Horses are better than people." Hans joked.

"Even better than Lars? Than me?" Elisabeth snickered sarcastically. She still wore his blue cloak, hiding her face in the hood. Hans found her beautiful in blue and in his.

"You're special, Lizzie." he grinned and saddled Citron.

Together they often rode round the isle. Hans did not tell her about his past and Elisabeth, if she understood anything about the disgraced prince's unusual position — a stable boy in his own home — asked no questions. She was delicate and sensible.

That afternoon he brought her to his cabin and showed her the manuscripts of his fairy tales, peculiar stories he wrote to kill his loneliness. Elisabeth's lush auburn curls were braided into a plait she liked to put on her left shoulder and fiddle with the tip. Hans mindlessly tucked it behind his back, bent down and kissed her. Elisabeth hugged him back.

His life has become something more with her, in her he has found redemption; the empty place where anger and greed had once been filled with bloom and sky. She has found a future in him, she thought.

But the past has a way of returning.

Hans was procrastinating on his duties in the stables chatting with Elisabeth when suddenly the boudoir's heavy doors swung open and his brother, Olga and some other people burst into the room. Hans was barely able to get anything. He had never seen Lars and Olga so worried.

"Lady Elisabeth!" She exclaimed.

Elisabeth looked back at the door and froze. A tall, grim blond man in a brown travelling cloak, and a woman dressed in green and purple stood there. The woman had bright red hair and eyes the colour of Northern Lights. Hans barely recognised them, and so did Lizzie, his Lizzie, but Queen Anna of Arendelle rushed to her big sister and wrapped her arms around her neck.

"Oh, Elsa, all these months, we have been looking for you, I thought I lost you again! Oh, Elsa, sister... Yelana knew nothing, tell me who did this to you—"

And a miracle happened. Everything about her has always been a miracle. When Anna and Elsa's hands touched, the room was filled with Ahtohallan's light. That light filled Elsa, returned to her. Her hair became smooth colourless silk again, her skin turned pale and her eyes returned from dark blue to ice. What has been lost was back through the bridge. Magic and memory were the same thing; without the past there was no future.

Hans sprang to his feet, seized by an unnatural fear of magic, of the foreboding of loss. He realised the truth, he recognised her. "Lizzie!..." he called to her. It has always been her.

That man, Björgman, blocked his path.

Elsa wiped the tears from her beloved Anna's cheeks, then looked back at Hans. Strange was that look. "Leave me," she said, but it was she who left.

The royal family of Arendelle quickly left the Isles, barely thanking the Westergaards. But everyone has got the point. Everyone except Hans.

He ran up the cliff and watched the Crocus ship leave the harbour. "Elisabeth..." he let go on the wind, his heart freezing again.

Chapter 3

Two chapters in a day, how lucky. I do have a few more chapters but I’ll span them across the next few weeks probably as I still haven’t gotten to writing anymore of this fic (I think I only have like 8 chapters all up).

Fandom: Frozen Ship: Hans x Elsa Rating: Mature Audiences Warning: Intercourse Word Count: 704 Words POV: Elsa, 21

It wasn’t until now that I realised how astonishingly boring it was, meeting all the foreign dignitaries and princes, most of which were hoping to win my approval to be in the running of potential Kings of Arendelle. Once upon a time, I had almost begged to be in Mama and Papa’s situation. As I child the thought of meeting new people excited me greatly. Perhaps I would still feel the same way if things had been different.

“Prince Dimitry of Sanemia,” Kai announced as a short, balding, middle-aged man made his way towards me. He bowed and I curtseyed. Then, he kissed my gloved hand lightly and a little too excitedly made his way to the expansive Dining Hall. The Southern Isles was next after Sanemia, on the list, and it hadn’t occurred to me until now how much I missed Hans’ presence. I had become so used to him being around when I had been to the Southern Isles, and the first few weeks without him were okay. But after three years of only being able to communicate through letter, the pain was becoming more and more agonising.

As I saw Kai’s finger moving down a position on the list, I quickly regained composure and prepared myself to meet the oldest unmarried prince of the Southern Isles, Prince Markus. I hadn’t really gotten to know him, or any of the heirs that well when I was at the Southern Isles, aside from Hans and one of his older brothers Lars, but based off of assumptions he was most likely as much of a misogynistic, rude, manipulative bastard as the rest of them were, excluding Hans and Lars of course.

“Prince Hans of the Southern Isles.” When he initially entered the Throne Room I had to blink two, maybe three times to believe Hans was actually here. In the three years, I hadn’t seen him, he had broadened out a little more, having gained a bit of extra muscle from his time as Admiral in the navy, a position he had been in for the last two years. But he still had the same flaming red hair and those dashing green eyes along with those adorable freckles and –

“Princess Elsa,” he whispered, partially removing my glove and kissing my cold skin with his warm lips. “We need to talk after dinner. It’s urgent,” he smirked, his eyes locked with mine. I knew exactly what he meant, and I would most definitely be more than happy to oblige. We had had three years apart, after all, and we had to do something to at least try to make up for all the lost intimacy.

During dinner, there were many attempts from the other princes to win my approval, mostly from Prince Dimitry, which was strange I thought. I couldn’t tell if him being unmarried at forty-seven made him desperate, or if he was just attracted to younger women. It was quite entertaining though to see Hans, who was sat beside him, making great attempts to not stab him with a fork every time he remarked on my beauty.

After the meal, the princes were sent off one-by-one, A to Z according to Kingdom just as they had entered, which left Hans and me alone with one another. Almost immediately I took him to the newly decorated office, which would be mine tomorrow, shutting the door quietly behind us as we entered.

Before I knew it I was pinned to the wall, Hans buried deep inside me. The first time it had been slow and easy, I thought this time it would have been the same, but no. This time it was fast-paced and rough, but if I was being honest, I quite enjoyed it. Painful, yes, but one couldn’t deny that it was full of all the pent-up passion and love Hans and I had had to keep to ourselves over the years.

And as we finished, three special words fell out of his mouth before he took himself from me and fell asleep on the sofa. Soon after, I joined him, and whatever worries or fears I had for tomorrow’s upcoming coronation swiftly dissipated as he held me lovingly in his arms.

THE MUN PLAYS KH3

Here are my notes/comments I made while playing through KH3. The thoughts that went through my head.

***SPOILERS FOR EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. SPOILERS. SPOILERS.***

Tuesday, Jan 29th. 5:00 pm.

-Finally home and ready to play. Colored lights on, fluffy pants on, favorite blanket nearby, cats fed, pizza in oven, cold water in fridge, juice smoothie drink standing by. Waiting on my pizza to finish so I can eat dinner while listening to the title screen music. Have not put game on yet. (Just so happened to get my Marluxia keychain the other day too! Got my game today.)

-Here we goooooOOOOOO.

-OATH ORCHESTRAL IS SO PRETTY. Also expected recap. I bet there will be a lot of flashbacks in the game (update: not at all).

-Cable town seems a precarious place to live- also a pain to get around. Pretty. there’s a LOT of islands. (Update: homeworld of Keyblade wielders? Or base)

-Eraqus playing dumb?  Messing with Xehanort? Or is he actually just like that and doesn’t know.

-Queue intro. Music feels off slightly but that could just be because I saw the trailer one first. Also new Marluxia content, gonna need a gif of that little clip jumping over the scythe.

-Darkside, of course. Nostalgia reasons. Would have been more interesting if they changed up the fight with him, I think. He’s always been a pretty lame fight.

HERCULES WORLD

-Cutscenes feel much more natural (first reaction). Also Donald getting shit on, always fun. (Update: the amount of shitting on each other in this game is unreal)

-Hercules’ new voice… Is it new? IDK, but I find it unnerving.

-The Instagram loading screens are weird? Not a big deal.

-Maleficent’s much needed glow up.

-The graphics are odd because some things look super good and then some things look kinda weird sometimes. IDK I just started. Generally very pretty.

-SORA, DONALD, GOOFY. Is this going to be a thing again? (Update: yes, it is)

-Guess Phil isn’t going to talk at all? Sort of weird (Update: speaking of NOT SPEAKING. Aeleus and Dilan. Not a single peep. Wow.)

-Xigbar’s voice is changing into Xehanort’s now. Someone help him.

-Holy shit an NPC. WTF was that scene??? I think that’s all that needs to be said here. Just, what? How did that even work? No idea where the girl was/how far? Didn’t see any fire? Too slow? Yeeted into the universe. Little girl saved???

-Jumping around when you get hit with fire is annoying.

-Fighting those Titans was a shirt storm. It was soooo janky for me. (update: the combat in this game is incredibly aerial based)

-“May your hear-- ?” Unsure if game bugged or not. (Update: I get it now. Thanks, epilogue.)

-So Axel DOES get an outfit, wonder if we’ll ever see him wear it. (Update: AT THE VERY END

-Phone call. Is it my boy IENZO??? Oh, nope. D: WAIT, there he is.- -MOODY AELEUS??? What does he have against Roxas? Just because he left the Organization? Yeah, like Axel. Stop the bias against the other Org members.

-GODDAMMIT they did it again with the title card.

TWILIGHT TOWN

-Seifer and gang left for a “hero’s journey”.

-IENZO SPYING? IENZO CHUCKLE. Ienzo didn’t know= that makes sense. He’s so…happy (Update: he really is chipper in this game) -KIDNAPPED EVEN? -Just get Even to make him a body. -I too could go for some hot wings, little girl -Talking about Sora. I figured, but I hoped.

-The bosses thus far have been huge and really annoying to hit/air battles.

-On Marluxia, still looks like they’re just using him for Nort fodder at this point. Even though it still makes no sense at all.

-And I’m sure that’s all I’m gonna get this game for Marluxia.

Every now and then I come across a book, movie, TV-series, fanfic, game or whatever, that mention a fictional "Norwegian" or "norse" place or person, and it just sounds so wrong it makes me either cringe or ROFL. Really. I still haven't recovered from the 1995 X-files episode, "Død Kalm", which took us to the port of "Tildeskan" where we met "Henry Trondheim", "Halverson" and "Olafsson".  Hopefully this list will keep others from being that “creative” with names. :)

Names usage Double names, like Ragnhild Johanne or Ole Martin are common in Norway. Just keep them as two names and don't use "-", and you'll be safe, even if it ends up a tongue twister. Using only one of two given names is also common practice.

In Norway everyone is on a first name basis. Students call teachers and other kids' parents by their first name, workers call their boss by their first name, we call our Prime Minister by her first name (journalists will use her title when speaking to her though). Some senior citizens still use surnames and titles when speaking of or to  people their own age.

There are some exceptions. For example, a doctor may be referred to as Dr. Lastname when we speak of them, but first name is used when speaking to them. A priest is "the priest" when speaking of him/her and their first name is used when spaking to them. In the millitary only surnames (and ranks) are used. If you meet Harald, the King of Norway, in an official setting you will refer to him as "Kongen" (the king). If you run into him at the gas station, or while hiking, he is "Harald".

If you don't know someone's name it is okay to use their title, or just say "you".

Surnames

Surnames weren't really a thing until 1923 when they became mandatory. Before 1923 patronyms (son/daughter of) were used, and the name of the farm you lived on was often added as an address. 

For instance: Helgi Eiriksøn (Helgi, son of Eirik), who lived at the farm called Vollr (grass field), would be called Helgi Eiriksøn Vollr. If he moved to the farm called Haugr his name would change to Helgi Eiriksøn Haugr.

Patronyms

Men: Use father's first name and add -sen /-son /-sønn Women: Use father's first name and add -dotter / -dottir / -datter

Farm names

Farm names were usually relevant and derived from either the location, a nearby landmark, nature or from occupation.  I suggest you stick with the modern forms for farm names.

 S��inaugura sabato 29 agosto 2020, alle ore 18.00, la mostra  collettiva internazionale a cura di Sandro  Bongiani dal titolo: “Fragilità e Distacco / 70 Years Ruggero Maggi” che lo Spazio  Ophen Virtual Art Gallery di Salerno dedica all’artista italiano Ruggero Maggi, uno dei più interessanti artisti contemporanei nati negli anni cinquanta. Una importante mostra collettiva internazionale in concomitanza anche della speciale ricorrenza del suo settantesimo compleanno, presentando 289 opere di 295 artisti presenti su un totale corpus grafico di ben 388 opere arrivate  da ogni parte del mondo.

Ruggero Maggi inizia la sua attività di artista negli anni '70 con lavori incentrati sulla poesia visiva, sulla mail art, copy-art, laser art e olografia caratterizzati anche dall’inserimento di “estratti” di vita reale. Con il passare degli anni queste strutture “interferenti” all’interno dell’opera sono diventate sempre più evidenti, in un rapporto di intensa “osmosi”, in cui a partire dal 1989 gli arcaici elementi naturali convivono con componenti tecnologici, fino alle opere recenti dove il concetto “Artificiale /Naturale” tra ”sincronismo concettuale e emozionale” assume un ruolo predominante consegnandoci una realtà in cui l’azione umana coincide con quella morale, in un complesso intrico di rimandi e di sollecitazioni. Sandro Bongiani nella presentazione a questa rassegna scrive: “un continuo interesse verso la natura e la dimensione umana in un complesso rimando di sollecitazioni e interferenze, di sottintesi e nascosti richiami in cui l'azione coincide sinteticamente con il tempo provvisorio e oscuro dell’uomo. In questa particolare condizione, la sua ricerca marginale di confine “più vera di natura” ha saputo prendere corpo e manifestarsi in una sintesi poetica accorta che condivide le urgenze estreme della vita ed i contrasti inquieti della nostra malandata  società contemporanea”.

 RUGGERO  MAGGI / Biografia

Dal 1973 si occupa di poesia visiva e libri d'artista (Archivio Non Solo Libri); dal 1975 di copy art e arte postale (Archivio Amazon); dal 1976 di laser art, dal 1979 di olografia, dal 1980 di X-ray art e dal 1985 di arte caotica sia come artista - con opere ed installazioni incentrate sullo studio del caos, dell’entropia e dei sistemi frattali - sia come curatore di eventi: “Caos italiano” 1998; “Caos – Caotica Arte Ordinata Scienza” 1999 – 2000; “Isole frattali” 2003, “CaoTiCa” 2004, “Attrazione frattale” 2006, “Caos e Complessità” 2009, “Caos, l’anima del caso” 2010, “Caotica.2014” Lodi e Jesi.

Tra le installazioni olografiche: “Una foresta di pietre” (Media Art Festival - Osnabrück 1988) e “Un semplice punto esclamativo” (Mostra internazionale d’Arte Olografica alla Rocca Paolina di Perugia – 1992); tra le installazioni di laser art: “Morte caotica” e “Una lunga linea silenziosa” (1993), “Il grande libro della vita” e “Il peccatore casuale” (1994), “La nascita delle idee” (1993) esposta nel 1995 al Museo d’Arte di San Paolo (BR).

Suoi lavori sono esposti al Museo di Storia Cinese di Pechino ed alla GAM di Gallarate. Ha inoltre partecipato alla 49./52./54. Biennale di Venezia ed alla 16. Biennale d’arte contemporanea di San Paolo nel 1980.

2006 realizza “Underwood” installazione site-specific per la Galleria d’Arte Moderna di Gallarate.

2007 presenta come curatore il progetto dedicato a Pierre Restany “Camera 312 – promemoria per Pierre” alla 52. Biennale di Venezia.

2008 presenta come curatore il progetto “Profondità 45 – Michelangelo al lavoro” sul rapporto Arte -Tecnologia. Nel 2008 a Villa Glisenti (BS) ed all’Art Centre della Silpakorn University di Bangkok, per un simposio artistico italo-thailandese dedicato alle problematiche del riscaldamento globale, realizza l’installazione “Ecce ovo”.

2009 cura l’installazione site-specific collettiva “Prima o poi ogni muro cade” all’interno di PLAZA: OLTRE IL LIMITE 1989-2009 XX Anniversario della caduta del Muro di Berlino in Galleria del Corso a Milano; evento successivamente presentato a Villa Pomini a Castellanza (VA) e Spazio Luparia a Stresa.

2010 “GenerAction – un promemoria per le generazioni” progetto di Mail Post.it Art presso la Galleria di Arti Visive dell’Università del Melo - Gallarate.

2011/2013/2015/2017 presenta a Venezia con il Patrocinio del Comune di Venezia Padiglione Tibet, progetto presentato successivamente alla Biennale di Venezia, al Museo Diotti di Casalmaggiore (CR), palazzo Ducale di Genova e presso la Biblioteca Laudense di Lodi.

2014 PadiglioneTibet partecipa alla Bienal del Fin del Mundo in Argentina.

2016 “TERRA/materiaprima” progetto di Mail Art presso la Galleria di Arti Visive dell’Università del Melo – Gallarate.

2016 presenta Padiglione Tibet al Castello Visconteo di Pavia.

2017 presenta la 1 Biennale Internazionale di Mail Art a Venezia – Palazzo Zenobio

2018 Padiglione Tibet partecipa alla Vogalonga (Venezia)

I have mixed feelings about A Frozen Heart book. Like, it was life changing book back in 2019, made me go long way back to loving Hans, I actually knew his backstory and motivations from it, I grewn to LOVE HANS AGAIN, because of that book and my 2020 F3 fanfic... but that book isn't actually that good as most Hans fans see it... It has many incosistencies, like once Hans is his real self, caring about Elsa, Anna and trying to be a hero to get out of the fucking abuse, and one page later "He wAntS tO chOke ElSa" and acts like a selfish rude guy... yes, AFH gave us perspective for a real Hans, in what hell he was forced to live in 20+ years, and that's a best thing about it... and also this books covers a topics Disney usually doesn't does in the movies, or even books, especially the Frozen franchise ones. As the first book ever made for adults based on the movie, it was insane, and very, very deeply touching, but I think some things there should be done better, like, Lars being actually silent manipulator to Hans, as this mf is, and showing it openly, or more Hans overall, shown in the light we saw him at the beginning of the book... how should I believe he changes sides in a split of A SENTENCE in this book? AFH is really good covering Hans backstory and his struggles, but very bad at being brave and show who Hans REALLY IS, HIS FULL PERSONALITY + AFH ignores Helsa for baiting Hans x Anna fans.... LIKE THIS BOOKS WANTS US TO BELIEVE, THAT HANS LOVED ANNA, NOT ELSA? That's a hipocrysy... and imo AFH should be 100% Hans book, not the Frozen retelling with 99% time focused on Anna... like, WHY THEY WERE SO AFRAID OF GIVING HANS FULL STORY WHEN THEY HAD WHOLE BACKSTORY MADE FOR HIM? AND THEY GAVE IT ONLY 4 CHAPTERS???? I appreciate the efforts, but AFH is still, wasted potential and kind of shit, when I look at it... and the ending, I REMEMBER HOW STRESSED I WAS WHILE READING ABOUT HANS GOING BACK TO THE LITERALL HELL ON EARTH... THAT WAS MY FIRST STRESS LIKE THAT READING THE BOOK, AND I WAS ONLY 13...

AFH simply could be more brave, and I really hope, that if Hans will get some new content in the franchise, maybe even besides of F3/4 earlier, his story will be more accurate and him focused, than being a simple another retelling of a movie. But there is hope that the next Frozen books won't be retellings, because all the post F2 books now are 100% original (I sound like delulu 2016 Helsa fan I know, I am in this era still). So, I just want to see more Hans, ok? I miss him every day, I hope for maybe 5 seconds of cameo in Winter Festival short, if we ever will discover will it be actually released, because I just want to see him after a year of waiting (OUAS was a blessing for me)

I LOVE MAGAZINES – MASTER FATMAN R.I.P. SPECIAL

Mit tidligste minde om Morten Lindberg stammer fra en koncert i aktivitetshuset Badstuen i Odense engang i 1980’erne, hvor han optrådte som slagtøjsspiller i et obskurt ensemble. Hans instrument: tibetanske lårbensknogler (eller det hævdede han i hvert fald, at det var, og det var jo svært at vide, om det var sandt eller ej). Klip til København ikke så længe efter, måske slutningen af 1980’erne. Jeg kommer ind på en japansk restaurant i Larsbjørnsstræde, og hvem går og spreder hygge og god karma, samtidig med at han serverer den mest liflige japanske suppe? Morten Lindberg! Klip til 1990’erne, hvor fænomenet Master Fatman pludselig er her og der og alle vegne. Og hvem bor inden i Master Fatman? Det gør naturligvis Morten Lindberg!

Master Fatman blev hurtigt en figur, der kunne tilpasses enhver sammenhæng, enhver opgave. Et brand, ville man sige i dag. Måske lidt à la en opdateret udgave af “Andy Warhol” eller “Onkel Danny”, altså konstruktioner, der samtidig var mennesker af kød og blod. Og for Master Fatmans vedkommende var der oven i købet tale om en nutidig Buddha-skikkelse, som bevægede sig rundt i gadebilledet og forskellige miljøer og spredte varme og kærlighed. Og der var tilsyneladende ikke grænser for, hvad Master Fatman-figuren kunne bruges til. Så selvfølgelig skulle han også udgive et magasin, hvilket han så gjorde sammen med fire kammesjukker: Kim Foss, Claus Andersen, Martin Kongstad og Henrik List. Navnet på magasinet var Schäfer, det første nummer udkom i sommeren 1994, og det ramte årtiets ironiske tidsånd klokkerent.

Med usvigelig sikkerhed for at læse skriften på væggen – og for selv at være rykket videre, inden alle andre kom på omgangshøjde med dem – zappede Schäfer-redaktionen sig gennem verden. Det var tydeligt, at de kunne deres Victor B. Andersen’s Maskinfabrik, deres Warhol’s Interview og deres Se & Hør. Der var stort set ikke ét opslag i Schäfer, som ikke refererer til et af de tre blade. Men hvor tonen i 70’ernes Maskinfabrik var humor, hældte Schäfer mere til ironien. Og i generationens ånd var de besat af tv-serier, halvdårlige film og nostalgisk længsel efter de ‘originale’ film og ‘rigtige’ serier fra 60’erne og 70’erne: den oprindelige “Flygtningen”, den gode gamle “Generation X” fra 1964 (Douglas Couplands aktuelle roman af samme navn, som alle talte om, var helt klart yt), og så var John Travolta naturligvis GUD. Pastichen var tilsyneladende den eneste genre, der duede, og ikke sjældent blev lagene af ironi så tykke og mangfoldige, at det kunne være svært at gennemskue, hvem der grinede ad hvem.

Et fast indslag var IN/OUT-listerne. I det første nummer fik man at vide, at bl.a. følgende var IN: minigolf, cykelture på Nordsjælland, Elvis (altid in), grillfester, Otto Brandenburg, karseklippede piger, tyrefægtning, at bo hjemme hos sine forældre samt tjeneren Gunnar fra Café Dan Turèll (hvor er du, Gunnar?). Og på OUT-siden fandt man: mobiltelefoner, kulturdebat, italienere, ordet “interaktiv”, Kurt Cobain (definitivt out), grunge, Bjørn Bredal og nummeroplysningen (nu tager I jer fandme sammen piger!).

Undertegnede anmeldte det første nummer af Schäfer særdeles positivt i Information – og kom naturligvis på IN-listen i nr. 2! Hvilket i min anmeldelse af nr. 3 fik mig til at spørge: “Er Schäfer en parodi på det københavnske kulturlivs nepotisme og indforståede rygklapperi? Eller er bladet blot endnu et udslag af samme? Begge dele, sikkert. Men det er egentlig også ligegyldigt. For den tredje aftapning af Schäfer er et rungende julebjæf af blandede bolcher fra fem kugleskøre trend-surferes overskudslager af stilsikre dameblads-pasticher, inspirerende løgnehistorier, Mondo Bizarro kuriositeter, indfald, udfald og tungen-i-kinden reportager fra steder i verden, hvor man ikke lige havde troet, at man skulle hen. For eksempel køkkenet på restaurant Kong Hans. Eller Hitlers Berghof-residens i Obersalzberg i Bayern, hvor der Führer lod sig fotografere med lånte børn på armen, legede med sin schäfer (!) Blondie eller modtog fremmede statsmænd og celebriteter som Mussolini, Chamberlain og kong Boris af Bulgarien.”

Og sådan fortsatte det i ti år, indtil redaktionen omsider havde ud-ironiseret sig selv og derfor i 2004 lukkede og slukkede med nr. 17, et seriøst (!?) temanummer om litteratur med titlen “Det ene udelukker ikke det andet” (dedikeret til Elsa Gress). Måske blev det efterhånden for meget for Morten Lindberg/Master Fatman med al den ironi. Noget kunne tyde på det: I nr. 6 (1997) kunne man læse et interview med trend-meteorologen Lennart Raaholt, der erklærede, at den ironiske distances tid var forbi: “Ironi er ikke, hvad den har været,” sagde han. “Den skæve vinkel, som de der fra 28-35 år bruger, den er ved at blive lidt søgt.” Noget var ved at være brugt op – og i det hele taget er ironi jo ikke en særlig kærlig tilgang til verden. Men sjovt var det da, et langt stykke ad vejen. Så tak for det hele og hvil nu i fred, gamle Dharma-kriger! Det var sgu’ alt, alt for tidligt at tage af sted. Men du gjorde i det mindste en forskel, mens du var her, og den slags handler ikke altid om, hvor LÆNGE man er i denne verden, men HVORDAN man er det. Aum!
