I’m sure he meant Harry, as that’s how he was positioned in the media at that time. Of course, fans are arguing in the comments and saying Louis was the leader. Or that Liam was the leader so it was Ziam. 🙄

The band saw Louis as their leader. The GP saw Harry as the lead singer. Obviously the guy’s English isn’t great, so my assumption is that he meant H.

But either way, we all know H and L were the ones kissing each other.

I don’t go here, never gone here. But anyone who knows anything about real person shipping has heard of larrys. People who ship ex One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.

One Direction went on permanent hiatus in 2016 and towards the end of their active period the two who once had a close friendship drifted apart, Louis mentioning that shipping played in the awkwardness that developed between them.

Even after publicly shutting larrys down

Larrys still exist… They. Still. Exist.

After Louis publicly shut down rumours & conspiracies several times online, in print, on tv interviews etc.

After ARGUING with Louis on twitter, Louis having a child and several girlfriends, Harry having several girlfriends and them openly

Meanwhile Louis & Harry:

Say something, don’t say something. Spend time together publicly or don’t speak to each other for years. Have a family, public relationships, live in different continents.

Louis & Harry live their lives with how they want with who they want not who Larrys want

What is definitely real is that he did wear that shirt (supposedly in 2019) and he's been acquainted (even friends?) with their bass player Cav for many years.

Swim Deep were going to be "the opening act for [Harry's] postponed London tour dates."

We're talking about tour dates in April 2020, announced in February 2020.

Harry's pic with the shirt came out on Jan 29th, 2020, the band shared their Happy As Larrie song on that same day.

What is interesting is that they chose to link to that song, instead of the whole album. My immediate question was: well, maybe it was their latest single? No, it was not! They released Happy As Larrie as a single only months later, on May 6th, 2020. Inchresting.

In the later tweet they said they don't know what "dark larrie" means. True or not, we can only speculate (¬‿¬)

The next day, Swim Deep referenced Harry wearing their merch as "the king wore" it and shared a link to the restocked shirt.

It's to be expected that a band would use a publicity/rep push like that to link to their own music or merch, especially if the artist who reps is bigger, and extra-especially if said artist has been friendly with them since years. Also they must've already known they were soon going to be announced as opening acts for a few of Harry's shows in April of the same year.

Just as general info: "happy as Larry / happy as a Larry" is a usual british english saying for 'extremely happy'. And there are other songs with that title, i.e. this one released in 2022.

Now, their song is called Happy as Larrie, of course.

The things with the other song 0121 Desire and the parallels to his own lyrics and the tracks being 2 + 8 are definitely cool and fun coincidences, but I personally don't think it's more than that. Emerald Classics came out on Oct 4th, 2019 and Adore You came out on Dec 6th, 2019 (the album came out even later, on Dec 13th, 2019). Unless Harry and them are on a deep friendship level, where Harry would share unreleased lyrics with them, they could have no knowledge of Harry's Fine Line lyrics while they wrote their own album. (Please take that with a grain of salt, though, because I don't know how deep Harry's friendship with Swim Deep (or just Cav) goes.)

In conclusion, I am going out on a limb here to say that if Harry had already listened to the album back then, I could imagine that he could have liked to see that one of the songs on it was called that, plus the lyrics about blue and green colours in 0121 Desire. He did wear the shirt in the same year the Swim Deep album came out (2019) and knowing how far in advance tour booking can work for big artists like him, it's very likely he already knew they were going to open a few of his shows in April 2020. So I personally think at least half, if not more-so -when he actually wore the shirt in 2019- it was him repping and supporting a band he's friendly with since years; who had just released a new album and who were going to open for him soon. It's absolutely possible that at the same time he also wore it, because of aforementioned coincidences and knowing we would listen to that album and definitely latch on to a song title like that :D (I think this is unlikely, but there's also a possibility where Harry just got gifted the shirt, is friendly with the band and wore it to support them, without even having listened to the album, yet. I'd need to know on what day exactly he wore the shirt to gauge whether he could've had listened to the album already) The reason for the timing of the publication of the photo could be linked to the band only weeks later being announced as his opening act.

Hi Sea, I was wondering what you thought about Harry’s voice supposedly in the background of Louis’s igtv vid from Oct 2019 (https://www.instagram.com/louist91/p/B4CtVD9izOi/ ). Posted on the 25th I think, and I know Harry performed in Nashville that night, but the first clip with the voice is dated the 23rd. I agree that 2019 was the year things between them seemed increasingly ruptured (to say the least), but (to me) it really does sound like him, idk does it seem possible to you? You’re right, Harry had a concert in Nashville Oct 25. I don’t know where Harry was on Oct. 23, 2019, but it’s very unlikely that he was traveling in a vehicle with Louis and his team.

It’s very unlikely, period, that Harry would be with Louis anywhere where he could be seen publicly— otherwise he already would have been seen. Especially in a work environment.

It’s been 7 years since they were last seen together. They’ve never been spotted together— it’s not going to happen.

It’s also very unlikely that Harry would be heard in videos of Louis’ team members (like that video from @krupa_music as Larries claim).

Harry Styles isn’t clumsy. He isn’t a rookie. Neither is Louis. Nothing happens by accident. Harry isn’t sneaking into soundchecks. He isn’t with Louis backstage. None of these spaces are private. There are lots of people milling about, including Louis’ band and their friends.

Believe it or not, a lot of Englishmen have… English accents. A lot of them come from the North. A lot of them are baritones. Some of them work with Louis and their voices show up on videos. I think that’s all there is.

These are not the same shorts.

Harry's are vintage, and Louis' are Oliver Spencer shorts:

You can also see how the cut and fit are different, as well as the fabric. Louis' is softer, while Harry's is a more structured classic corduroy fabric. From the brand of Louis' shorts: "Rendered from velvety corduroy, they feature an elasticated waistband for a relaxed, athletic fit":

So while they're similar, and of a similar style, they're not the same pair or brand of shorts.

While he pretends, to me the pretending is again Harry playing a role of a womaniser in 1D and rockstar in solo eras, while he's dreaming of a girl who is with someone else. Very girl crush coded and a solid Haylor theme.

1:32 in One Direction music videos

In 73% of One Direction Videos Louis Tomlinson is not the focus. Not to let facts get in the way of a good theory, Larries are excited that in 37% of them he is the focus at 1:32. Firstly, he was 1/5 and then 1/4 of the band so... should be on the screen sometimes. Secondly the theory discounts 73% of their videography! Here are all of the 1D videos at 1:32.

This is a classic example of someone getting to interact with Harry, needing attention around it, and going overboard and starting to fabricate and exaggerate the story for attention and clout.

They did interact, that's proven. But i only see them getting a run of the mill greeting, a greeting that lasted 45 second max. There is no proof of her talking to him for half an hour and no proof of them talking about Leeds. He didn’t remember Leeds? That's not believable in the least, he wore that festival wristband until it broke. Also the "denial"?

I don’t think it was ever confirmed or debunked. But… There was a SUN article from 9th December that uses those pap pics and mentions a vague “…while out with friends in West London”.

Considering time and place are always fishy with pap pics, plus the ambulance in the background and Harry carrying what looks like a new razor, made people wonder if the pics were taken near a hospital when he visited Jay (and Louis, who possibly hasn’t left the hospital for days at that point) around the time of Jay’s passing.

However I personally don’t need pap pics to know Harry was there for Louis.

Debunk Claims

Important: These were all from the debunk thread. OP's original handle can no longer be searched on IG. I'm not sure who contacted them back then as well. With a grain of salt, as always.

ON LARRIES SAYING THE MAR 2017 PHOTOS ALIGNED WITH H'S STAY IN JAMAICA (as stated in the circulating Jamaica Photo Timeline); AND THAT THE PHOTO WAS RELEASED IN OCT 2017.

TL;DR: Apparently, the OP claimed that the photo was taken on 1 Mar and posted on 5 Mar, as opposed to what larries knew (Oct 2017).

RESPONSES:

1.) Extra take about the anti's claim ("this girl confessed to seeing Louis and el making out"):

If we're looking into the actual words used in the convo with OP, the question was to confirm a couple of things. 1.) Did she actually see L and E? 2.) Making out? 3.) Walking? ETCETERA?

And looking into OP's answer, it was quite vague. She basically just said that she DID. But what was she confirming though? Was it that she did see them together? While they were walking around? Did she actually saw them make out? Or was it just assumed? (I'm not saying they weren't; they probably did tbh, knowing people would see and they needed them to - for that stunt).

2.) @twopoppies' post on Aug 2021 clearly stating that these were just rumors (THEORY) and that it was openly discussed that H was probably not there. | x

3.) And based on the timeline I've consolidated, it is possible that H was not there during L and E's getaway stunt in Jamaica. Could even be damage control thing considering how media outlets like Yahoo UK could easily piece things together (if an info of H&L being together in Jamaica ever leaked).

For the third year running, Republicans in the US have once again continued to write "anti-furry bills." On January 17, Republicans introduced Mississippi House Bill 1060 (MS HB 1060), which you can see for yourself on the state government's site, though you may need to enable Javascript if your web browser doesn't display it properly: https://billstatus.ls.state.ms.us/2025/pdf/history/HB/HB1060.xml Currently, this is the bill's official description, as written by its sponsors:

"Gender dysphoria; require school personnel to notify parents of student who request to be referred to as different gender or nonhuman."

Emphasis added. Furthermore, the sponsors wrote it with this summary:

"An Act To Require School Administrators, Teachers, Counselors Or Other Personnel Of The School To Provide Written Notification To The Parent Or Legal Guardian Of Any Student Identifying At School As A Gender Or Pronoun That Does Not Align With The Child's Sex On Their Birth Certificate, Sex Assigned At Birth Or Using Sex-segregated School Programs And Activities Or School Facilities That Do Not Align With The Child's Sex Assignment At Birth, Within Three Days Of Becoming Aware Of Such Conduct Or Request By The Affected Student; To Provide That No School Personnel Shall Be Disciplined Or Suffer Any Unlawful Reprisal For Refusing To Acknowledge A Student By A Preferred Gender, Pronoun Or Animal Species That Is Inconsistent With The Child's Sex Assignment At Birth; To Prescribe The Legislative Intent; And For Related Purposes."

Emphasis added. Despite what the description and summary says, the bill text itself doesn't mention either of the topics that I emphasized here. This leaves it an ordinary example of legislature proposed to discriminate against transgender students in public schools. This is a common pattern in anti-furry bills, where an early version of the bill mentions students who identify as nonhuman animal species, to try to attract attention, and then the sponsors delete that part later so that the bill can focus on their real intentions against transgender students. Republicans mean for the temporary inclusion of that topic to satirize transgender students and make a comparison that they see as absurd. It's a reference to an urban legend that Republicans circulate, where supposedly schools that let transgender students use the restrooms they want are also providing litter boxes in classrooms for students who are furries. That urban legend has been debunked by the fact-checking sites Snopes and Reuters.

The bill was sponsored by these eleven Republican Representatives: Charles Blackwell, William Arnold, Randy Boyd, Larry Byrd, Carolyn Crawford, Jim Estrada, Greg Haney, Stacey Hobgood-Wilkes, Donnie Scoggin, Joseph Tubb, and Beth Waldo. These are some of the same authors as a similar anti-furry bill from last year, Mississippi House Bill 176, which was also written by the same Blackwell, Arnold, Boyd, Byrd, and Scoggin, plus Dan Eubanks and Jimmy Fondren.

[Edited to add] Another new one is Oklahoma House Bill 1327, by sole sponsor Justin Humphrey. This is basically the same as his bill from last year, Oklahoma House Bill 3084, still proposing that students who identify as animals should get picked up from school by animal control. He specializes in introducing bills that sound bizarre to attract attention, and later he cleans them up so they'll pass into law. He prefiled it on December 30th so that it will be introduced on February 3.

Anti-furry bills similar to this one began in 2023 with North Dakota House Bill 1522, Oklahoma Senate Bill 943, Indiana Statehouse Bill 380, and a proposed amendment to Montana Senate Bill 544. 2024 had Oklahoma House Bill 3084, Mississippi House Bill 176, and Missouri House Bill 2678. No anti-furry bills have yet passed into law as such. Fellow volunteers and I have been reporting on these in the Otherkin News blog all along, which you can read in the tag for that purpose. I tend to answer and talk about a lot of bbg/2015 things on here and seem to attract a lot of newer fans & Larries (which is wonderful!!!) but I thought I’d just share some resources that you can refer to so there’s not so much back and forth in my inbox.

Arden (cosmicleeds) makes fantastic, super digestible videos recapping years, bbg, rbb & sbb and the big gay war etc., and I think it’s a really valuable way to kind of get your head around some stuff as socials, especially Twitter, have a lot of misinformation, fighting, wrong timelines, stuff that’s already been debunked etc.
