My Obsession For A Reason

I’ve yet to come across a picture of this man and not save it.

I’ve never seen someone as beautiful as him.

However he’s more than just a pretty face and idol body.

I’m 'obsessed' with him, but I don’t really ‘want him’, I want the best for him.

I want to see him happy in song, happy in dance, happy on stage, happy eating, happy with friends, happy with fans.

I want him to have his peace, protection and privacy.

I want him to have his space and his freedom.

I want him to only hear ‘how can we help you’ and never ‘you can never.’

I want to understand him on the level he feels comfortable with and never make him feel uncomfortable.

I respect him as a public figure and a private person

As a human he’s not always gonna be happy, is gonna make mistakes, is not going to please everyone, will have had misunderstandings, anger, tears etc.

However to know what we do of him, he listens, he learns, he tries to be better and do better. No one that’s spoken of him can ever say he’s not the most selfless person they know, the most emotionally intelligent, the kindest. No one that has spoken of him can deny he gives his all to his friends, his members and his fans.

He does what he can both in private and public for his hometown and his country, to children, schools and foreign aid.

I love him deeply, as unique and talented artist and a perfectly imperfect human striving to make himself and what he can around him better.

If I only ever have all that he’s given to his fans and supporters I’m still content.

I yearn for anything and everything he shares with us but I yearn for his happiness and security more.

Vouching for someone, trusting them with your hard fought for home.

Trusting them with the family you have left after losing so many family members and had freshly lost your partner.

Having to be so strong all of the time, strong with your body, strong for your children, strong for your community.

Then having the body, the body that is protecting your child.

After losing two sons!

Having the body growing the child that is a piece of you and ANOTHER lost partner, having that body be tortured, hurt and put at risk because of trusting someone.

Having your daughter be put at risk because of trusting someone.

Having to do what needed to be done (watch the episode if you don’t know what I’m talking about) to get to your daughter.

This episode was called ‘Scars’.

It really just piled on more emotional and mental scars, not just an ‘cool’ X.

Piled on more, on top of a woman that already had so so many scars.

Yes I know how the episode ended, Judith facilitating her softening but *to me* it was too much, why harden a character that has endured so much, to drive the overarching plot in the necessary direction, all to give backstory to her closed heart/door mentality? Hmmm

Why oh why couldn’t Michonne just have had a bestie?! A sister along for the rest of her pregnancy and to be there for her when Rick couldn’t?😔

Already a shareholder of twitter, they wanted to put him on their board, Elon ‘declined’. Then joined their board.

Elon said he’d buy twitter then tried to ‘back out’. He was ‘made’ to fulfil his initial agreement after a public spectacle. Pattern of attention seeking, media play etc???

He then went on to make twitter an even bigger cesspool for extreme right wingers globally.

A hub for misinformation, disinformation, hate speech and the like.

Utilised it to benefit him and his cohorts.

Dorsey has often praised Musk whenever the opportunity arises. Such was the case last April when Musk made his offer to acquire Twitter for $44 billion. Dorsey did not hesitate to declare that his billionaire friend was the only one capable of revamping the microblogging website, considered the town square of our time[…]“Elon is the singular solution I trust. I trust his mission to extend the light of consciousness.”(source)

Dorsey did not transact his shares in Twitter, and now holds equity in Musk’s venture.
