When a true baby ghost is born— a ghost not born of dying, but rather through the desire of another ghost— they are little more than a core with wispy ectoplasm emanating from them for about a month. During said month, they take on influence from their surroundings in order to figure out the form they’ll take, hence why so many young ghosts look like their parents.

Because they aren’t fully formed until a month after their birth, the parent or parents will take on a far more aggressive, primal form in order to protect their child. The parent’s form will become incredibly monstrous, and their size will increase, with triple their normal size being most common among parents. Their mental state also becomes incredibly instinctual, higher intelligence temporarily being replaced by aggression towards anyone the ghost doesn’t consider family. They stay in this state until the baby is fully formed.

Of course, Danny “don’t worry about it” Phantom forgets to add this bit of trivia to his explanation to his fellow heroes as to why he was taking paternity leave. In his defense, he didn’t expect them to visit during that month.

with a lot of this alicent hightower analysis something becomes very clear about how women are perceived in media. when she has a baby she gets the #MOTHER character tag and all other traits disappear. she must now exist solely for her children. all her motivations must be related to her children.

compare that to how viserys is treated by the fandom and the mainstream media. yes he is a father, but he's also a husband who loved his first wife (even though he killed her). he loved his brother. he loved his valyrian history, his little dragon figurines. people have no trouble understanding him as a full-fledged, flawed character with conflicting motivations.

alicent though? why is her sole focus not on making her son the king like in the book? how dare she have conflicting, contradictory desires outside of what her children want? it's like if a mother's reason for existing is not her children then what is the point of her being there?

do seeker sizes reflect the size of whatever jet they scan?

all bot sizes are reflected in their alt mode; bots can only take on alt-mode in their size class, so a bot with a fighter jet or truck alt would be much larger than a bot who turns into a car or a stunt plane. Mass displacement is not a thing in synergized. The size of a bot is always around the size of their alt-mode,

Bot sizes are generally sectioned into size ranges. Standards are not an exact height or weight but a vague general size range that is used as an indication of what size alt-mode they can take on. If a bot says their standard one, it means they could probably easily take on a normal car alts, stunt plane alt, or a smaller boat alt

Some sizes are more common than others. If you round every bot size to the nearest standard sizing, 20% are mini, 40% are standard 1, 25% are standard 2, 10% are standard 3, 4% are standard 4, 0.97% are standard 5, the last 0.03 percent is non-standard cybertronains like shuttles, cassettes and titans

Most bots who get seeker modifications are between standard 3 and 4 but can be as small as a standard mini, though that is extremely rare.

Seekers are just normal cybertronians with heavy modifications that allow them to fly in robot mode, so the same rule applies. they start off life as normal ground bots, so unless stated otherwise, lore for unmodified bots usually applies to seekers

Alectophant is my exhaustively researched and very serious theory that Alecto's problem with the body John made is not that it's a blonde barbie body, nor simply that it's a physical or human body at all, but:

Features of an elephant:

enormous (and practical!) ears

a VERY long nose that's way more useful than stupid hands
