the way ryoko kui illustrates the consumption of a dungeon master's desires like a form of rape really gets me. it's such a viseceral, awful thing and the way they beg them to stop until they are left empty and lost is so chilling and horrifying. it's really well done and terrifying

you're made to feel that someone like thistle must be evil or insane, when both him, mithrun, and any other dungeon masters are victims in a bigger scheme, this never ending cycle of life. the food chain of the dungeon. we watch as bigger monsters eat smaller ones, those monsters are eaten by humans and otherkind, those beings are under the control of the dungeon master. cogs in a machine.
