At first, Jesusa tried to ignore him, but the man's insistence increased, making her feel trapped.

What Jesusa didn't know was that everything was a plan hatched by Yolanda and her brother. The situation culminated in a humiliating trap that left her vulnerable and bewildered. When rumors began to spread through the town, Jesusa became the target of ridicule and accusatory looks. No one seemed to defend her, and the pain of betrayal and shame consumed her.

Unable to bear the contempt and gossip, Jesusa ran to her sister Lizbeth's house. There he found a refuge, but also a self-imposed prison. From that day on, Jesusa decided not to go out again, protecting herself from the outside world that had hurt her so deeply.

Over time, Lizbeth's house became her only world, a place where she tried to find some peace in the midst of the suffering left by such a cruel betrayal.
