15 LGBT Legends from the past for 50 years of Stonewall 7/15: Alan Turing
Alan Turing (23 June 1912 – 7 June 1954) was a Gay Man, mathematician, computer scientist, logician, cryptanalyst, philosopher and theoretical biologist. Turing was highly influential in the development of theoretical computer science, providing a formalisation of the concepts of algorithm and computation with the Turing machine, which can be considered a model of a general-purpose computer. Turing is widely considered to be the father of theoretical computer science and artificial intelligence. Turing played a pivotal role in cracking intercepted coded messages that enabled the Allies to defeat the Nazis in many crucial engagements, including the Battle of the Atlantic, and in so doing helped win the war. Turing was prosecuted in 1952 for homosexual acts; the Labouchere Amendment had mandated that "gross indecency" was a criminal offence in the UK.
I just can't believe we did it!! We did it!!! We stroke down section 377!! My fellow LGBT+ people of India we can finally breath as we are and I'm so proud of us and our country!

I just realsied that Alex is Latinx and I didnt know I needed that untill now and my life has been saved. Not only is Alex LGBTQ+ but she (sometimes he) is POC LGBTQ+ and this makes my little POC LGBTQ+ heart sing. I may not be Latinx but the point still stands. I am litteraly over the moon right now. Representation matters even if it is just a little bit.
I told a girl, that I am pansexual. She asked me, why I am not a couple with my bisexual friend.
After a deep breath I told her calmly like Dumbledoore, that queer people don’t have to be necessarily a couple. We can be in a platonic friendship. Like, wtf?
