But still the usual of them up to the best friends shenanigans. I'm still on my last few commissions now so i can't wait to for a breather.

wwwwwwwelcome back to the car of strahd everyone. party has met the abbot and been rightfully weirded the fuck out by that whole situation. ismark’s wolf form made its first appearance, ezmerelda spilled her backstory, another npc confessed to murdering lady wachter and the twins (he fixed stella while he was there tho!), victor got put in a chalk circle labeled “baby jail” for a wild magic surge that flipped gravity and slammed a bunch of revenants into the ceiling, and the hottest seditionist alive got exiled from the the vistani on-screen.

so in my campaign, anastrasya threw a masquerade party to enter the political race in vallaki— perfect opportunity to draw some dripped out npcs

One of my favorite moments from our Curse of Strahd campaign!

Valastra snatching an imp off of someones shoulder after it tried to sting her and with a nat20, proceeding to snap its neck in front of its owner. Then turning into her full succubus self.

I felt SO cool afterwards, even though Valastra got her ass kicked next round by 8 demons 🤣 through some clever placed spells, a dispell magic and lucky rolls, she ended up victorious!

So I think my players are going to jump-start Lady Wachter's revolution tonight by taking out Izek Strazni and Baron Vallakovich.

That's going to make the Feast of St Andral pretty, hm, interesting tomorrow. Especially since they have a noninterference agreement with Victor and have largely let Ludmilla do her thing unchecked.

Day 13 - Vallaki (Prop list is from @crowholtz )

Every so often I think about how the day I was gone for the session, my party somehow made a blood pact with lady wachter, the burgomaster house turned sentient, and victor was killed all in the span of like 3 hours. I come back to find vallaki in partial ruins and one of my favorite npcs is gone. I didn't even get to meet him before his demise and till this day I still don't know what the hell happened there.

Playing a morally grey Stella Wachter is a lot of fun tbh. Did I accidentally kill a priest in session 1? Yes. Did I get away with it and has it now become a meme that my goal is to kill all priests in Barovia? Also yes.
