Finalmente una bella serata passata al bowling mi sono divertita, ho riso, ho giocato discretamente bene soprattutto alle ultime partite, ho condiviso una coca-cola con il mio compagno di squadra e ho chiacchierato, che forse per la maggior parte di voi è una cosa normale ma per me no chiacchierare in pubblico è sempre un tentennare di aprire bocca eppure stasera mi sono lasciata andare, ho parlato di comix, cartoni e progetti creativi, ho fatto battute e riso un sacco, mi sono sentita bene con me stessa anche se quella sensazione di disagio nel sentire la mia voce resta, perché la sento quasi come se la stessi alzando o comunque una voce goffa però in realtà non sembra dare fastidio a nessuno, sono solo io che sono paranoica ahah ma questo non cambia il fatto che sia stata finalmente una bella serata!

My dive into the UK band Spiritualized continues. We posted about their new album, "Everything Was Beautiful" back in April. I've been listening to "And Nothing Hurt" for a couple of days. "The Morning After" might be one of my favorite songs of the year (even though this album was released back in 2018). "A Perfect Miracle" sounds like a cross between The Kinks and The Delgados.

It's difficult to find bands who make consistently great music over a long period of time. I mentioned The Flaming Lips in the previous Spiritualized post, but now I would add The Velvet Underground, Luna, Yo La Tengo, and The Chills. This album mixes up so many moods and hits on all of them.

This was released by Fat Possum Records (U.S.) and Bella Union (UK).
