In the presidential elections, Russians vote for the head of the GUR Kirill Budanov - intelligence This was reported to "GORDON" by sources in Ukrainian intelligence. The sources provided photos of Russian ballots from several polling stations. It can be seen from them that the people who came to the elections independently entered Budanov's name on the ballot paper and put a tick "for" in front of it. @gordonuacom

"A meccs állása 1:1 és a hetvenedik percben vagyunk"
A mindig rébuszokban beszélő (munkahelyi ártalom lehet) Kyrylo Budanov tábornok, az ukrán Védelmi Minisztérium hírszerzési főosztályának vezetőjének interjúja a forbes.ua-n, angolra fordítva
In football analogy, the score is 1-1, and the minute is 70. This is a subjective vision.

Ukrainian spies 'gun down top Russian missile scientist in Moscow'
Ukrainian security forces have taken credit for the “elimination” of a leading Russian missile scientist involved in enhancing the lethality of cruise missiles. A video shared on Twitter today seemingly depicts the aftermath of a fatal attack that took the life of Mikhail Shatsky in Moscow. The short clip appears to show forensic officers arriving at the scene. Ukrainian journalist Alexander…

What Russian volunteers on Ukrainian side fight for?
After several weeks of attempts by various formations under the command of the Ukraine’s Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR) to cause disorder on the Russian border, the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) reported the termination of active combat operations on Russian territory.
Though our RVC units and sleeper cells stay in the region, it is time to honour the memory of our fallen fighters.
Reports about the RVC first appeared in March 2022, right after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine at the end of February. At that time, the Ukrainian authorities announced the formation of the legion composed of Russian volunteers and captured soldiers who decided to switch sides.

In World War II the slogan "loose lips sink ships" was utilized to remind members of the military and people in defense industries to be vigilant about spreading sensitive information related to the war effort.
In Ukraine, the phrase "плани люблять тишу" (plans love silence) seems to be part of a campaign by the Ministry of Defense to get people to be close-lipped about plans for the counteroffensive.
Ukrainians hacked Russian TV in occupied Crimea about a week ago and aired the video above. The words "оголошення про початок не буде" (there won't be an announcement regarding the start) presumably refers to the counteroffensive.
Maj. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov is chief of military intelligence. He has a reputation for choosing his words carefully. He did a video as part of this campaign. The ambient noises are the point.
youtube
The words "далі буде" are best translated as "to be continued". 😉
Russian trolls last week tried to spread the rumor that Budanov had been killed. The weekend video will disappoint a lot of gullible Putin fans.
Gen. Budanov gave this interview to ABC (US) earlier this year when he was more talkative.

North Korea has started sending troops to fight with Russia in Ukraine, South Korea's spy agency has said as Seoul warned of a "grave security threat".
The allegation comes a day after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he believed 10,000 North Korean soldiers could join the war, based on intelligence information.
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol called for a security meeting on Friday and said the international community must respond with "all available means".
According to the spy agency, 1,500 troops have already arrived in Russia - with anonymous sources telling South Korean media the final figure could be closer to 12,000.
This comes as evidence mounts that North Korea is supplying Russia with ammunition, as recently demonstrated by the recovery of a missile in Ukraine’s Poltava region.
Moscow and Pyongyang have also been deepening their cooperation in recent months. Last week, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un greeted Russian President Vladimir Putin on his birthday, calling him his "closest comrade".
Friday's security meeting was attended by key officials from South Korea's National Security Office, the Ministry of National Defence, and the National Intelligence Service, Yoon's office said.
"[The participants] decided not to ignore the situation and to jointly respond to it with the international community using all available means," it said.
The allegation from the National Intelligence Service (NIS) comes days after Ukrainian military intelligence sources said that Russia's army is forming a unit of North Koreans.
The BBC has asked the NIS for comment.
On Thursday, Ukraine's spy chief Kyrylo Budanov claimed that there were nearly 11,000 North Korean infantry troops training in eastern Russia to fight in Ukraine.
"They will be ready [to fight in Ukraine] on 1 November," Lt Gen Budanov, who heads the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence Directorate, told The Warzone website.
He added that the North Koreans would be using Russian equipment and ammunition, and the first group of 2,600 soldiers would be sent to Russia's western Kursk region, where Ukraine holds a number of settlements after launching its incursion in August.
Earlier this week, Putin introduced a bill to ratify a military pact he made with Kim, which pledges that Russia and North Korea will help each other in the event of "aggression" against either country.
South Korea's spy agency, the NIS, said North Korean troops are training in Russian bases in Vladivostok, Ussuriysk, Khabarovsk, and Vlagoveshensk.
This appears to confirm information from a military source in Russia’s Far East, who told BBC Russian this week that “a number of North Koreans have arrived” and were stationed in one of the military bases near Ussuriysk.
Seoul's spy agency also released aerial photographs of Ussuriysk and Khabarovsk, where they say hundreds of North Korean troops have gathered, and another photo of North Korea's Chongjin port, where a Russian ship was reportedly shown carrying North Korean soldiers.
The NIS said it found that since August, North Korea has sent 13,000 shipping containers carrying shells, missiles, and anti-armour rockets to Russia.
As many as eight million 122-mm and 152-mm shells have been supplied to Russia, it said.
However, some military experts believe the Russian military units will have difficulties incorporating North Korean troops into their frontlines.
Apart from the language barrier, the North Korean army has no recent experience of combat operations, they said.
“They could guard some sections of the Russian-Ukrainian border, which would free Russian units for fighting elsewhere,” said Valeriy Ryabykh, editor of the Ukrainian publication Defence Express.
“I would rule out the possibility that these units will immediately appear on the front line.”

Giorgio Bianchi
È veramente una vergogna questa cosa qui! Com' è che si chiama? 🤔 Hmmm.... Ah si! DEMOCRAZIA!!

One innovation is a newly tested GPS-guided bomb that is very similar to the French AASM Hammer. The Ukrainian high-precision glide bomb can cover a distance of up to 64 km. If Ukraine can establish local production of the new bomb, it can begin to match Russia’s glider bombing campaign.
The new bomb will add to a growing portfolio of Ukrainian-made munitions that includes the Neptune cruise missile, the new Palyanytsya missile drone, and a host of one-way strike drones, including at least two models of unmanned sport aircraft that can fly a thousand km with an explosive payload. By creating its own high-precision military technology, Ukraine frees itself from complete dependence on its allies for the supply and use of these types of weapons.
The head of Ukrainian intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukraine is producing unmanned aerial vehicles capable of traveling 1,800 km.
Also, the Armed Forces of Ukraine used an “innovative solution” for attacks on Russian positions using so-calleddragon drones, that drop a thermite mixture on enemy positions.

A dramatic new view released by the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR) shows several of its uncrewed surface vessels (USVs) strike and sink the Russian Tarantul-III class missile corvette Ivanovets. The attack took place Wednesday night local time on the Black Sea near Lake Donuzlav in western Crimea, the GUR said on its Telegram channel. A 128-second video posted on Twitter shows what appears to be a complex attack on the Ivanovets by what Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, commander of GUR, told us were Maritime Autonomous Guard Unmanned Robotic Apparatus (MAGURA V5) USVs operated by the GUR’s Group 13 drone unit. [...] Created by the Ukrainian state enterprise “SpetsTechnoExport,” the MAGURA V5 is a 5.5 meter (18 feet)-long USV with a range of 450 nautical miles, a cruising speed of 22 knots and a burst speed of 42 knots thanks to its waterjet propulsion and streamlined hull, according to according to the Ukrainian Militarnyi media outlet. Sitting a half meter (1.6 feet) above the waterline with a payload capacity of 320 kilograms (705 pounds), the Magura V5 packs a significant punch in a hard-to-spot USV. The company says it communicates via mesh radio with an air-based repeater and/or SATCOM.
Every time they do one of these big strikes it always seems like they're using their own home-made equipment

Nearly 11,000 North Korean Troops In Russia Preparing To Enter The Fight Says Ukraine’s Spy Boss

Ukraine Situation Report: Lt. Gen. Budanov claims the first 2.600 North Korean troops will help Russia's attempt to defeat the Kursk invasion.
Tumblr media
There are now nearly 11,000 North Korean infantry troops training in eastern Russia to fight in Ukraine, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Intelligence Directorate (GUR) told The War Zone Thursday afternoon.
“They will be ready [to fight in Ukraine] on Nov. 1,” Lt. Gen. Kyrylo Budanov told TWZ.
The North Korean troops will be using Russian equipment and ammunition, said Budanov. The first cadre of 2,600 soldiers will go to Kursk, where Ukraine has established a heavily fought-over foothold (more on that later). It is unclear where the remaining North Korean troops will go, he added.
“We don’t have the full picture right now,” said Budanov.
Pyongyang’s forces, as we previously noted, have already been killed in Ukraine.
