Eventide | I was originally excited about this drawing but now I’m not sure.. I don’t think I managed to capture the motion of what is happening - the original references being an owl swooping across snow, ready to snatch up an unsuspecting victim 😱 - and I think it came out looking more awkward than anything.. I also had a bit of trouble with the canvas size - it’s really big but still high res which meant I only had four layers to play with (which is difficult for me because I usually work with on average 13 layers 😁). Also means that the thumbnail version tends to look grainy but then when you zoom in you can see all the crisp little details.. SO I was unsure whether I should post it. But then I was like screw it. Art is about all the mistakes as well. This is an exercise to teach me to RELAX with my art. Meet the Artist’s Hands and Bug Guest | my puppy Zuri has a tendency to hunt and eat flies 🤦🏽‍♀️ we saw this little lady on the ground at the same time and I swear I’ve never moved so fast.
