Unpopular Opinion

I think this is probably an unpopular opinion about My Dearest Nemesis. But genuinely, I think I might be the only one who prefers the second lead couple to the main lead couple. They're so emotionally mature and they communicate really well. And I'm a sucker for a guy who's just so in love and a woman who knows what what she wants and walks the man like a dog.

That took a turn but essentially that's the dynamic between Seo Ha jin and Kim Shin Won. Plus they have so much more chemistry I can't-

I just watched the utter mess that is Alice simply because I got on the Kwak Siyang train (somebody give him a lead role already) and why why why???? Why did they do that? I couldn’t even finish it because the bad-crazy just kept coming in

Can you believe the possibilities and how well it would have gone had they made KSY the main lead?

The first few scenes going as normal (the shower scene was a must and plot-relevant! Don’t change!!!)

But she leaves him. And he returns years later (though only few months have passed for him) on some other mission but ends up meeting “present-timeline her” and having to come to terms with how different she is than the one he knew and wondering about her eventual abandonment of him and at the same time freaking out over the son being alive and all

And he begins to fall in love with this different version of her who had a happy childhood and college life career and comes to understand the woman he loved had more dimensions to her than he knew and that’s what led to her choose their son over him.

And this time he’s determined to be there for her

And look I know this isn’t an ask but I keep thinking of what COULD HAVE BEEN and instead I got….. THAT!!!

I REMEMBER THAT DRAMA! 🤡

I can't even remember the plot but I'm pretty sure I giffed him from episode 1. I started it because of Kwak Si Yang but ended up dropping it at like episode 2 or 3? I got weird vibes from the son and mom. Your version is clearly better!

I'm assuming you've seen Idol: The Coup so I won't recommend that one (if you haven't you must - he's amazing in it!) and Chicago Typewriter (one of my favorite dramas of all time).

But, if you are looking for something that you might not have seen, Welcome 2 Life is a fun one. He's not the lead and it's not even the kind of drama I normally like but it's a good one and you get to see his face ;-)
