Falcom will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak II for Switch on July 25 in Japan for 4,800 yen, the company announced.

The Switch version will feature various optimizations surrounding functionality and controls, as well as a “High Speed Mode” and “Archive” feature. The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN- RPG Unveils First Teaser

  Back in December, Falcom revealed the next entry in its The Legend of Heroes series as The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-. The sequel is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Japan this fall, and you can check out the first teaser along with some new details below.

    Leading the charge in this one is the young Spriggan Van Arkride, voiced by Daisuke Ono.

    Other characters revealed thus far include Agnes Claudel (Miku Ito), first-year student at Aramis High School and member of the student council and General Affairs department. 

    Elaine Auclair (Chiwa Sato) is an A-rank bracer with master-class skills who works under the Sword Maiden nickname. 

    CRIMSON SiN finds Van investigating a bizarre massacre in a corner of Edith City that interrupts a period of relative peace in the Republic of Calvard. The plot thickens as the hunt for the culprit begins and Van encounters a young boy and girl in search of something that will lead them down an inescapable path.

Falcom has released two demos for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II –CRIMSON SiN- for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Japan.

The “Battle Demo” allows players to Switch between two sets of party members, and explore and battle in the in-game virtual world of “Marchen Garten”—including a boss battle.

The “Story Demo” allows players to experience a chunk of the main story—from the prologue until just before the curtain rises. Save data from this demo can be carried over to the full version of the game.

The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II –CRIMSON SiN- is available now for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in Japan and Asia.

Falcom has released the version 1.10 update for The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II –CRIMSON SiN-, which adds two new playable characters, additional Floors to Marchen Garten, and more.

The update includes the following new content:

Episode “Those Who Defile Legends ~ And…” added.

Playable characters Fie Claussell and Zin Vathek added.

“Marchen Garten” Floors 10 and higher added with additional story. (Floor 10 is unlocked after Floor 9 is cleared with a cleared game or New Game+.)

“Virtual Simulator” added to Marduk Support.

Function to skip “EX Chain” cutscenes during command battles added.

Each character’s ultimate weapon can now be further upgraded.

Fixed a situation in which certain operations made it impossible to progress.

Fixed typos.

Fixed various bugs.
