Some Halloween headcanons for ARR

Dawn Faction

Koga

Gets invited to Halloween parties

Likes that he can attend them without having to wear a suit

He dresses up and covers his face with a mask so people don't recognize him easily

To his annoyance, Toichiro can still recognize him

Asks his maid to pack some candies for the kids who would swing by his house

Kuya

Lets his wings out on full display since people would just think it's his costume

People stare because it looks so realistic (it is real *wink wink*)

Kids would ask to touch it to which he promptly replies, "No"

Kids have to shout to wake him up since he is usually found sleeping on the veranda instead of handing out the treats at Koga's house

Aoi

Goes all out with his cooking to make sure there are a variety of sweets they can hand out

He tries to make Western sweets since it is a Western holiday - he also puts his art skills to use by designing them

Asks Yura to taste test for him. He is grateful to Yura despite his grumbling when Yura asks for more

Also decorates Raccord to give it the Halloween vibe

"Oji-san, lend me a hand!"

Ginnojo

Also packs candies at his shop

Kuro helps him out with the packing

He displays books with spooky stories since they seem to be popular during this time

"Do I really have to wear this?"

Gets this soft look on his face when he hands out treats

Yura

Volunteers to help with packing candies at Raccord since he's got nothing better to do.

Works as the taste tester when Aoi tries to recreate Western sweets.

"Pray, Sir Aoi, this "cookie" tastes good! Can I have some more?"

Eats more than the candies that he packed.

On Halloween, he takes on his child form, dresses up and lines up with the kids to ask for treats.

Twilight Faction

Toichiro

Also gets invited to Halloween parties

Likes to annoy Koga since he can easily recognize him

Sticks to Koga since these types of parties do not require them to make their rounds

Still as polite as he can usually be when people approach him

Babysits Kogare since Kogare visits on Halloween

Packs candies with Kogare

"Kogare, hide your ears and tail." To which Kogare replies, "But why is Kuya-san allowed to show his wings?!"

The one who hands out the treats at Toichiro's manor since Kogare also makes his rounds to other houses

Kuro

Helps out at Raccord and Kusanagi Books during candy packing

Also joins in on the fun when Aoi has new sweet samples

Performs in front of Raccord and Kusanagi Books on Halloween

He does it for the promotion of their Halloween show later that night

Oji

Always seems to be busy 'entertaining' his customers so he barely helps Aoi with packing candies

He thought he could get away with not wearing a costume so the Raccord gang had to force him to wear something for Halloween

Gaku

Also helps out at Raccord since Yura is there

Makes tiny trinkets like jack-in-the-box and Chinese finger trap and drops them randomly inside the candy packs

Heaps wasabi on top of the sweets so he can eat the same thing as Yura

Holds back his laughter when he sees the children find themselves trapped in the Chinese finger trap.

How I think the ARR boys would react if you throw a cake at them

before we start, i haven't read much about the lore/ i forget most of them now. So some characters might be off character sorry.

Uh pretty good 6/10 Definitely would say he enjoys the fun and challenge (?) 100% would laugh at it. -1000000 points if you throw a peach cake at him

Kuya

Ehh… 5/10 This could end in 2 ways Bro definitely fly up if you throw it or he not was enough ( idk if he have a fast reflex) The second outcome and the more likely. Wouldn't even care. He definitely would like the cream of his face then just fall asleep -1 point cuz koga won't like the floor/ bed dirty

Aoi

-10/10 Mad as hell, you might get the silent treatment Definitely made you clean up or help you clean up a bit. +1 if he like you he will try to be kindish more and won't yell at you that much Keyword: try

-1/10 not good. Mad definitely mad. But I think he might smile and laugh at it. Not sure if he think this might be childish but ehhh.. maybe. Gonna be a little shit about it. +5 point if you help him pranks koga with peach. 100% would get revenge on you. Watch your back.

0/10 yeh Might swap the tochiro point and shizuki point together idk.

Toichiro could like bring him booze and lock him and you togethers He either have a good reflex and freeze the cake before it gets to him. Or he fail. Would say he pretty disappointed and will told you that you are imatured (?)

Oh dear… You have guts 5/10 I say it's a 50/50 thing. In his profile he does like the strong.. idk if being bold like that is considered strong but.. you do you. Um would ask a fight about it. Idk if geisha allowed to make new ideas in the way to "seduce" customer but would add cake fight for the fun of it. Like tochiro+10 points if you do it to shizuki.

6/10 if you are like futuba not so bad. But even if you are not. I say he still haddle it well. Not gonna yell or be mad he would be like normal. +1 point if you give him some apologize gift like nachi.

8/10 "My doll you are so interesting…" Something like that. Not so sure if he hate cake or sweet or anything like that but yeah. I say he wouldn't mind cuz it's.. you after all. Maybe tiny bit minded that he have to change his clothes ( does he hate being dirty?? Idk) Make him high cuz he like you better then anyone. If it's something else? Oh they be dead.

Well, it's one of these days where I find myself thinking about ARR and kinda regretting I didn't follow the wave and played the JP version. I should reinstall it still (not to play) , kinda want to read back the Dawn Faction Books. For now, I feel the need to vent a bit about various thoughts in no specific order.

Aoi, I miss you ~ I remember with fondness how I used to read about his struggle with his art and relate to it, and now that's I'm working on my own academic stuff (aka my bloody master's thesis), I relate even more. Art and literature aren't the same, but i really want to pour my soul into my work and for other people to see what I want them to see, and Aoi's determination and struggles are reminding me of my own insecurities. Aoi, let's support each other!

It also makes me want to write all the one shots and fanfiction I had in mind two years ago, before the Fateful Announcement was made... Should I procrastinate my thesis and write fluff instead? God, there was this modern high school au I, the Futaba/Aoi one shots, the OC story...

Kuro, send your haircare! I want fluffy hair! None of the ARR guys really has curly hair like I do, but Kuro's long hair seem so fluffy and pretty... I'm not really into skincare and haircare that much, but I can imagine Futaba and Kuro sharing tips on how to care for one's skin. This'll go in another fanfic. One day. One day...

It always surprises me how I started the game for Yura, thinking I would be so head over heels for him I wouldn't even notice the other characters, and yet! Aoi ! Kuro! My beloved!

I still like Yura, but I read his story mostly for the plot, not for the romance (but like, didn't we all? This book lacks romance so bad, at least the yura event stories are fun). Maybe it's the fact he's a 1,000 years old? I'm not really into the whole modern ordeal of age gap and what is and is not healthy (I'm reasonable, but people on Twitter are kinda scaring me at times), but like... Yura... Why do you need to me so flirtatious with Futaba when you look like a middle schooler but are older than Charlemagnes...

He's still very funny and a very dear character to me, the only OC I ever created for ARR was directly related to Yura and Gaku's backstory. Hopefully I'll find the time to talk about it in more details someday (and clear some old fanart).

... Well damn. I really miss this bloody game, don't I? I miss the gameplay, it was so easy and nice to do while commuting. The artstyle was the best, the voices were so good, it was great (the lack of sleep to play the events to the fullest wasn't though)... Oddly enough, each time me and my family talk about what we'd do if we won the lottery, I only think about three things : buying myself an apartment (loaning is expensive here ...), funding the second movie of the Kotz live action and funding the Eng version of ARR. It's such a nerd thing lol, shouldn't I want to buy old books and a car? But I don't have a driving license, and I miss playing ARR.

I'm currently starting Genshin Impact, although everyone is already so far in the story (I'm still learning how to fly in Mondstadt). Hopefully this game'll fill the void ARR left. I've been searching for a good substitute for two years now, so I'm kinda desperate...

On a side note, each time I get a notification from Voltages' YouTube page, I get soooo angry and curse them in my head. Why do I still follow them? Just for spite lol.

Another Excerpt From The Timeline Fic For My AU

23 BBY (977 ARR): All the Jedi feel a massive disturbance in the Force that is clearly Dark in origin. 

Masters Mace Windu, Even Piell, Coleman Trebor, K’Kruhk, Neeja Halcyon, An’ya Kuro, Yan Dooku, Shaak Ti, T’ra Saa, and Yaddle, as well as Padawan Anakin Skywalker are sent to investigate it.

They are able to find that this disturbance originated on the planet Ziost, so they travel there. Upon arriving, they further narrow down the location of the disturbance to ancient ruins of a massive structure. While exploring these ruins, they are attached by ten Sith Apprentices: A white haired Human man, a Chiss woman, a Near-Human woman, an Umbaran woman, a Human woman with burn scars on her face, a Korunnai man, a young Human woman, an Anzati man, a Twi’lek man, and a middle aged Human woman. Coleman Trebor is killed in the fight with the Sith Apprentices, and Masters An’ya Kuro and Yan Dooku find their former Padawans among the Sith Apprentices, while Mace Windu discovers that one of the Sith Apprentices is his long-lost brother. All three Masters are able to put their complicated emotions aside, and do their duty as Jedi after they realize that all the Sith Apprentices are past the point of being reasoned with. During the fight, Darth Nashtah kills herself in an attempt to hurt An’ya Kuro one last time when she realizes she can’t win. After all the Apprentices are dealt with, the Master reveals himself to be the same Muun Sith the Jedi fought on Coruscant.

Through a powerful Light Side power called the Wall of Light, the Sith Master is quickly defeated by the Jedi, but he is able to kill Master Neeja Halcyon.

After the Sith have been defeated, the Jedi explore the ruins, and find two infants. A boy and a girl. The children are taken to the Temple on Tannalor and named Luke and Leia.

AoR, A new Dawn, 6

Kuro and Kiara slowly walked back to the group, Dune saw them approach. They had actually done it, they had defeated the hollow. Dune could see that they wanted to walk faster, but they were to exhausted. "They really beat it." That had come from one of the Eevees they had saved, she stood on Torrents back and looked at the situation.

Kuro reached the others first, Dune watched him walk over to his bag and retrieve his medical equipment. He walked over to Torrent to check on the Eevees, as Kiara caught up to them. She let herself fall on her belly and let out a deep sigh. Dune nudged her side, "That was insane, how did you keep standing when your HP-barrier broke, I thought you always faint when that happens?"

Kiara smiled up at her, "Insane training. You just learn to take the impact and keep standing, but your still vulnerable." she grimaced, "If Kuros distraction hadn't worked that thing would have killed me. This was way to close." She looked at Dune concerned, "But enough of that, I didn't know you are this afraid of Tyranitars, or was it because it was a hollow?" Dune swayed her head, "It was both, a Tyranitar was responsible for the death of my parents."

Dune could feel a small warm snout at the back of her head, Flake had woken up. "Your mom died?" he asked, with a scilent voice. Dune nodded. Flake gave her a small hug, "Don't be sad, I'm here now and you won't leve either right?" Dune chukled a bit, but she could still feel the sorrow. "Your the sweetest child a mother could ask for, don't worry I don't plan do die a second time, though I might not get a choice."

Dune began cleaning Flakes fur and he purred, "Thanks mom." he murmured. Dune looked over to Kiara but she had fallen asleep.

Kuro shorly looked over to Dune but she was talking to Kiara, so he shifted his attention back towards the two Eevees the hollow had attackt. He walked over to Torrent, the Eevee that was still contious had carried the other from Torrents back and laid them down by the Gyarados side. Going by their Tailpatterns, they were a boy and a girl. The girl was the one still standing.

"Hey you alright? I'm a doktor, I'd like to check your wounds." The small Eevee looked up to him, she looked desinterested but there was sorrow deep in her gaze. "I'm fine," she answered, "and I don't think he needs your help anymore. He stopped breathing a while ago." Her voice sounded emotionless but Kuro new better, he had been the same after the clan had been destroyed.

He pushed the Girl aside and sat down next to the boy, she had been right, he wasn't breathing. Though that didn't mean that all hope was gone, at least not yet. Kuro retrieved his Pokemed to scann for a pulse, the signal came back negative. He grimmaced, not good. He got the Pokedex to see if it still reacted to the Eevee, it didn't. "Fuck" he wispered.

The other Eevee was watching him. He got his vitality scanner, this device was so sensitive it could scan a Pokemons soul, if it didn't get any signal all further effords would be in vain. He changed the batteries, just to be sure. He was down to his last pair, when they ran out he would need to ask Kiara to power his devices. He connected the electrodes to the young male Eevee and switched on the scanner.

The group sat around the fallen Eevee, the other Eevee had curled up at Dunes side, she was scilent. Kuros scanner had not registered a soul, the boy was dead. Flake had walked up to the samll body, the boy had only been a bit larger than he was, though Flake was big for his age. "He's not moving Mom." he had said to Dune, but she had only nodded. Now Flake was sleeping beside the other Eevee, apparently trying to comfort her.

Her name was Haru, that was the only thing she had told the group. That and the fact that the boy, had been named Aki. They all were scilent, they had come to help but they were to late and one of these young lives was now lost forever. Dune knew, that it had likely already been to late when they arrived, but she still blamed herself for not being able to move. Maybe if Kuro hadn't stopped for her breifly... she shook her head, no this wasn't helping.

She moved closer to Haru and nudged her gently, "I'm so sorry for your loss. If there is some way we can help please, tell us." She said. Haru turned to face her, "He was my twin you know." she said, "Shootingstar said, that this is a thousand times rarer than being shiny. We were always together."

At this Kuros ears perked up, but he remained scilent. Dune thought of ehr parents, "You must really miss him then" she replied, "Your really strong you know." Haru shook her head, "I'm not strong, but we promised us, that if one of us were to die the other would live on for the as well and I feel like if I give in to my sorrow I won't be able to keep this promise any longer."

Dune teared up at that answer, she gave the young Eevee a strong hug. "It's ok to be sad you know, it's an improtant part of greiving, don't hold back your sadness, or it will consume you later." She could feel Haru shake under her words and suddenly she started crying, scilently but heavy. She hugged her tighter. And both cried for a long time.

Kuro - cuz he shares Koga the same energy and also cheerful and cool to have as a friend, aside from him learning English with Koga and English is my favourite school subject. He reminds me of a friend I used to have.

Kuya - I see him as Koga's brother, and I loved him more in Koga's route and his own route, also, he's kinder enough to come home several times and... I love his wings 🥺❤️
