Favorite Monkey Island game is Tales (I've said it's on rotation with Curse but Tales always wins by a smidgen)

Favorite King's Quest game, with absolute bias, is 2015... since that one finally got me into KQ and I will always hold that Graham close to my heart, flaws and all.

Buuuuuut on an unbiased level? KQ3 hilariously enough. The timer was stressful but I remember that game being the one that made me fall for the classics.

And in order from most to least: KQ3, KQ5, KQ6, KQ1, KQ2, KQ7, KQ4 (I haven't played KQ8 personally haaaa)

OKAY SO this took me 800,000 years to do for reasons I’m too tired to get in to but I saw someone do a video where they ranked all of the canon Degrassi ships on a Degrassi ship tier. Honestly I've been trying to work out even just their canon Ch3 designs which I like the most. I stay most true to canon with her n Vee! She's majority round shapes, long butterfly-inspired lashes, and yes her bangs are in the shape of a heart ;))

Neese's older design stays most true to reboot canon too, though I did simplify the crown. I find it very important that she has her earrings :))

(I think Valanice's reboot design is most inspired by her looks in... I think anywhere before KQ7. This is important for my Vee design)

Neese's Icebella design is interesting cuz it is just Icebella with Neese's features...

BUT I did have an idea back in like 2021 when I did a redesign of Icebella that I wanted to use here too! Where her old tiara is implemented into her crown/headpiece.

I've drawn her a redesign before for Frostburn AU, and I really liked the rose buns, and so I put them into her normal design too!! :)))

Other than that she's majority relying on sharp angles and practicality. I care her <3

I had a lot of fun with Vee's older Valanice design!! I like the idea her hair is still tied up so she resembles her younger self, but it's lower and looser cuz she's a slight bit more settled down

Also, since Neese's is based on her KQ6 design, Vee's Valanice dress is based on her KQ7 design!!

Vee's Icebella design is closest to canon! She also gets her sharp angles to stay consistent to her princess design.

If you had the tools to make a point-and-click adventure game just like the ones from the genre's heyday...

Games like Simon the Sorceror counts as "New SCUMM" style for the purposes of this poll. Likewise, even though Gobl(i{1,3})ns style implies a popup window with the inventory, King's Quest 7 could be counted as such considering it only has implied-walk, interact/take, and use-item cursors. And as such, this is about the interaction model and UI, not the graphical style. After all, Thimbleweed Park has old style character graphics but a new style 9-verb UI.

Minor update to the Drive!

I’m betraying the King’s Quest 2015 specifics already. I realized either there aren’t any scans of the King’s Quest VII concept art found in the Authorized Player’s Guide online- or, if they are online, either I lost them or they’re just plain hard to find. (There is a lot of concept art on the KQ7 development Omnipedia page, but I meant specifically these pages, alongside Peter Spear’s commentary. I actually just thought to add all of these to that page, so they’re there now! I am going to keep them on the Drive because... idk, why not? I scanned ‘em :b)

So, I included a folder for old game stuff like this. Probably won’t be much besides my own scans, or maybe a collection of high quality official art just to have it all in one place, though I haven’t decided. (I have a lot saved in my personal files but I feel it may be redundant if a lot is already on the Omnipedia)
