taerae had his suspicions when listening to a song, where the producer tag sounded a bit too much like your voice, so the next time you both saw each other, he decided to play detective and put on one of the songs he thought you had produced.

the way your face glowed with pride when hearing that taerae liked the song you had produced enough to play it in front of you told him everything he needed to know. eventually, once the song finished, he asked the question, and when you nodded your head, taerae couldn't help but feel amazed, "wow, you're so cool do you know that y/n?", "you're even cooler taerae".

you had decided to pay back your boyfriend for the kind gift with a couple's trip to see this musical he had been wanting to see for a while, where you both stopped at a strawberry field on the way and ate the delicious berries watching the performance.

gunwook went and googled the listed producers on the title track when he finally got access to the internet in the dorms, surprised that your name was there, it only boosted his ego that he had a musically talented and academically talented s/o, just like him.

he definitely interrogated you when he talked to you on the phone later that night, jokingly pouting when you had to rush to tell him that you were under a contract not to tell anyone when helping produce the song, but your worries were quickly brushed away when he told you how much he loved you, and how much he loved the song as well.

you were one of the producers for 'say my name' on boys planet, so when he saw you in the room for recording the song, he was both equally shocked and amazed that you had been behind the catchy song he was performing to later that week.

Kriss’s Top 10 WORST Kpop Debuts

I’ve learned a number of things in my 3 years as a kpop fan (5 if you count when I was a blink but pretended to hate it).

There’s too many idols named Chaeyoung

Kpop fans are immune to admitting things are bad unless it’s from an artist they dislike

But I get it to an extent. The level of devotion kpop basically forces you to give to your favorite artists is breeding ground for people who take said devotion a little far. Why do you think Sultry Films got doxxed? But regardless I’m gonna put myself in the aforementioned minefield and present to you my Top 10 WORST Kpop Debuts.

10. Baby Monster - Batter Up

Something I noticed about Batter Up when it came out was that it showed me how companies would rather play it safe strictly working by formula. The badass I love myself concept that YG does not wanna let go of. As for the song itself it feels like a rollercoaster that only goes up one short hill and very slowly at that. On the bright side at least we’ll get a boatload of memes related to that one girl saying “Remember me”, whom I ironically can’t remember the name of.

9. ITZY - Dalla Dalla (달라 달라)

Dalla Dalla has always felt unfinished ever since the first listen. It’s certainly a fun song to listen to, but like “playing Connect 4 by yourself” fun. The only true standout parts are the pre chorus and bridge, mainly due to Yuna’s voice. I like to think Dalla Dalla is the slightly worse predecessor to Wannabe. Maybe I’d give it more props if it weren’t for that grating “KEEP ON DREAMIN” part in the dance break. JYP only does his job when it comes to Japanese title tracks because he knows all the international fans are preparing for a recession.

8. miss A - Bad Girl, Good Girl

I’m all for miss A’s concept of female empowerment, but I’m not sure if 15 year old Suzy Bae doing pelvic thrusts and shaking ass was a great way to show that. Other than that some of the melodies are just abysmal beyond repair. Min’s “내가 더 뻔해” part still haunts my dreams. But I have them earlier on the list because I do still listen to it now and then and at least they make up for it by having other songs that are actually good. At least it’s easy to play on JYP Superstar

7. LE SSERAFIM - Fearless

The minimalism trend is the worst thing to hit kpop and I’ll die on that hill. Everyone acts like NewJeans kickstarted it but the catalyst was clearly this song and its equally bland album cover. Again, we have minors shaking ass in the music video; who was surprised? And Blue Flame is kinda better but HYBE hates women so we all knew that was never getting an official music video

6. UNIS - Superwoman

Though I was a bit upset that some picks didn’t get in I gave UNIS a chance. I expected a more hyper bubbly concept like Very x3 by IOI but it felt like a b-side that was reworked over and over again to be a title track. There’s so much more they could’ve done since the girls are very talented, especially Gehlee. Survival show groups now really get the short end of the stick. Just holding hopes and prayers that they don’t fumble the I-Land 2 girls

5. GOT7 - Girls Girls Girls

JYP stylist applications should have a section that reads “Check here if you smoke crack” because nobody but a crackhead could give JayB and Yugyeon such fuckass haircuts. The song is just so grating and sing-talky. The only thing that makes this MV a less painful watch is the fact that Nayeon and Jeongyeon are there

4. Jini - C’mon (ft. Aminé)

I was really excited to see what Jini would do after she left NMIXX like everyone else so I was largely confused when we got generic mall music instead. It’s nothing offensively shitty but what pisses me off more is the random Aminé feature that added nothing. Also to answer the everyone’s question, there is no “reason“ why Jini left. I believe she left for a reason but it isn’t known to the public because it’s simply not our business.

3. Amber Liu - Shake That Brass

Now who told this heifer she was a Shinee member?. The little orchestra bit is cute, it’s also full of cameos because Amber is not that relevant. Also I thank Taeyeon for her attempt or save this song even if contribution is short. And again SM made the mistake of giving Amber a rap song. This girl is talented but the world will never see that talent while she’s busy defending police brutality I suppose

2. Red Velvet - Ice Cream Cake

This was one of many of the disasters created during Min Heejin’s reign of terror at SM which is why I contemplated putting Cookie instead. My main issue with the song is the lyrics and the unnecessary rap at the end. Other than that the “I scream you scream” is mildly annoying but nothing to make a ruckus over.

And the number 1 worst debut, taking the first place spot….

1. Loosemble - Sensitive

Oh don’t look at me like that. Every orbit knows in their heart that they could’ve done better with our girls. The “ah ah ah ah” adlibs after the chorus are so robotic and unnecessary. The aesthetics of the music video are gorgeous but that’s like the last good thing about Sensitive. I really haven’t been feeling any of the redebuts but with how hostile orbits are this is likely the last time I’ll talk about them here

nayeon - 'na' mini album review + ranking

'something' - when i heard the audio teaser for this, i was immediately SO excited. then when i heard the start of this song, i was even more excited. 'SAY MY NAME' who?? that guitar SCREAMS iconic y2k track. i love this genre for twice (see basics & rush) and i feel like the way this track was produced works SO well for the overall vibe of the album. liquid drum and bass (at least the very simple, dreamy style of it) has become almost a bit overdone in my opinion due to the newjeansification of kpop (not dealing with that here) but the use of the guitar in the background gives it that iconic y2k feeling similar to destiny's child and tlc. i think overall this is a really easy to listen to track, however i definitely did expect a little more from it after listening to the audio snippet. would've loved more of the nayeon rap because that's what i was most excited for!

'count it' - this is so dreamy, it reminds me a bit of 'wishing on you' from jihyo's solo album, which is one of my favs. i love a slow nayeon song that solely focuses on her super sweet, smooth vocals and i feel like it's nice to hear her lower voice for a change too, especially bc jyp absolutely makes her (and jihyo) work overtime with those high ass adlibs in their group songs. this was honestly everything i wanted from this song; slow, an easy listen, beautiful, minimal production that still doesn't feel boring or repetitive, and that ending was honestly my fave thing EVER! could listen to it on repeat, and most definitely will. it felt like the perfect outro song for this album too.

'magic' - that prechorus is SO delicious oh my god! nayeon and julie is literally giving the kpop version of every iconic collab in the 2010s between an insane vocalist and badass rapper (i'm thinking nikki minaj, ariana grande, iggy azalea before she got cancelled lol) however, i actually don't love the chorus as much as i was hoping! it definitely fits the vibe of the song but i feel like it didn't entirely live up to my expectations for it. of course, julie's vocals are absolutely insane, i'll never not go on about them, and nayeon absolutely ate! i feel like this track again matches the late 2000s vibes i'm getting from the album, with a little more this would have 110% been my favourite song.

'abcd' - NAYONCE WHO??? i'm actually not joking at all, this was absolutely what the kpop industry needed. that very typical young, teenager-y y2k concept has honestly been entirely overdone (yk what i'm talking about, every girl group and their mother's been a victim of it welp) so i'm SO GLAD that icons like kiss of life and now nayeon have decided to bring back mature y2k! we need trashy! we need camp! we need intense instrumentals and sassy raps and lyrics! pop was so cute and i adore it for her, but i love seeing the more adult concept for nayeon too, esp bc she's almost 30 now and i feel like she needed something a little more. this feels very very very much like crazy in love by beyonce, which kind of does unsettle me a little, it's not a bad thing but that song is VERY iconic so it feels like a very tricky song to try and replicate even when its done a bit differently, because there's always gonna be comparisons regardless and a song like that just cannot be outdone, no matter how iconic nayeon is. however, it's different to all the recent releases we've had in kpop so imma let it slide. also, i was VERY disappointed by the fact that this track, the TITLE TRACK, was less than three minutes. why tf are ALL of the bsides longer?? the math is not mathing. i was really hoping short song syndrome wouldn't hit 3rd gen kpop but apparently it has, which is actually so sucky. also i highkey hate jyp's promotion methods bc y'all did NOT need to spoil the entire chorus?? like i would've enjoyed this so much more if it was a suprise yk. that felt like a really dumb move especially when there wasn't even a super different crazy end chorus so that felt like a bad decision but oh well. solid title track, 9/10 (-2 for the shortness of the song and promotions). and final thoughts, i feel like jihyo also would've eaten this concept up. after seeing namoji perform 10 minutes, i've been needing them to do a song as a subunit and i feel like this would've fitted them as a trio SO well.

'halligalli' - she's cute, she's bubbly, but not too childish either. she JUST fits into this album's concept in my opinion, and it feels like the classic twice bside recipe (this isn't a bad thing, but it does sound like something i've heard before from twice and it fits into their discography well). however, sticking to the classics isn't a bad thing at all, often if you have all new genres an album can feel daunting and too diverted from the identity you felt the artist was originally showing. so i think this is a very safe but cute track. it'll go on my playlist, but i feel like she's a tiny bit forgettable.

'butterflies' - can someone explain to me why this wasn't on the 'im nayeon' album? because this SCREAMS that concept. it's super cute and very nayeon-esque, but i feel like it takes away from the more mature concept this album was leaning towards? it feels very teenage y2k lovesong, which is super cute, but this album was gearing more towards iconic y2k artists in their adult prime so i feel like this doesn't quite resonate with that. i'll definitely listen to it because it's a good track, but probably not in conjunction with the rest of the album since it doesn't fit my mental vibe for it lmao.

'heaven' - out of the two slow tracks, 'count it' was honestly my favourite. i think its also because this song was fully english and it felt like an overload of entirely english songs in this album, which is lowkey weird for me to say as an international fan, but it feels like twice is trying too hard to globalise its audience and is forgetting about their initial fanbase. like twice has been doing one english track in their albums for a bit now, but even the title track for this album was very english heavy and so were most of the bsides. three out of six bsides were english, and the others still have a lot of english lyrics. anyways, it just didn't stick out to me as much as the other songs, still very sweet and nice to listen to but not particularly outstanding in my eyes. it'll definitely end up on my playlist though!

No but legitimately the way kpop singers use "sexy mysterious and EXOTIC" sounds that wholly come from South Asian, Middle Eastern, and African countries in their 'badass' concept music videos and comebacks, it's obvious that they think Brown and Black people have an inherent sexiness to them as well as an inherent danger because we have darker skin and are therefore naturally scary. Like I was excited for the EXID comeback but it's literally just an appropriation of common Middle Eastern melodies in a song to 'amp up' the feeling of 'ooh look at us we're so dangerous'. Like what is wrong with you? Fucking idiots.

Like there's such an orientalist mindset generally around all ppl of darker skinned ethnicities or indo-arabic heritages like what is wrong with these people. What makes our cultures so mysterious and dangerous and sexy and exotic for them.

i keep seeing clips from the l3 ss3raf!m documentary and maaaan i have thoughts

i don't think they realize that they are shooting themselves in the foot. Like i obvs feel that they have the right to express how they feel and hardships. Also, i know the entertainment and esp the idol industry play up/dramatized, but at the same time le sserafim isn't special.... like chaewon being on ivs when it feels that is a news story each week for another girl in a girl group. which is terrible(!), but not unique. like the girl group hate train has went after other groups and you don't see them locking comments and all that.

Not that they should leave hateful comments up or not turn them off, but at this rate they should leave them turned off. like the haters are still making videos shitting on them. like i think hate is bad and antis are stupid for the record.

Also, sakura saying shes upset people are saying she improved instead of just being good or whatever. which i get it since it is a back handed compliment, but some of those performances werent great and ngl i do expect a lil more from her since she has been an idol for so long. She should know how the industry works at this rate yknow. commenting that shes getting better not good is hurtful, but i dunno man

Also, yunjin being upset that people are throwing her own words at her is so ??? "I want to change the idol industry" like yes kpop fans are too stupid to realize change wont happen overnight, but at the same time i was expecting her to try and tip the industry a bit more. I think their concept of trying to be like badass girlboss' also makes seem something? like thay had fuck off haterz songs and they are antifragile and shit. like i dont want to seem like im downplaying the girls work and the hate, i think they work hard and people arent realizing they are people, but this documentary seems so mhm a choice. it def feels like hybe/source music is trying to get pity points instead of whatever they think it was supposed to bring to the hate mob. i think le sserafim is brave for sharing this side of the industry and themselves, but also i feel the label should be doing more. giving them more breaks, changing the music to actually fit their voices, choreo that allows them to sing and dance, and so on. like im blaming the label more for allowing this to happen and pushing them to be under these circumstances than the girls themselves. they are the ones having them perform their songs out of their range then saying fuck em when they have to do it live.

again the haters are using clips of them almost collapsing or eunchae hyperventilating with text like "man all that practice to sound like that" or worse. even the subtitle "make it look easy" when people were saying that derogatorily like....i don't think higher ups thought about this fully and this is just going be worse on the girls. like some of the quote retweets were so rude and hateful! they are gonna read those comments and feel worse!

Again, i don't think the girl's deserve the hate they got. They had some shitty encores and live performances. both can be true at the same time which has happened to most groups at one point or another. i dont think le sserafim cant air out their problems or how they feel or whatever, but making it seem its only a le sserafim issue is crazy!

Kpop title track ranking: BoA

In this series I’ll be ranking kpop groups/soloists title tracks based on my taste.

Next up is the legendary BoA! If you are a new kpop fan and have not really listened to BoA's songs, please, do yourself the favor of checking her songs out. Her discography is diverse, so I assure there is something for everyone! With that out of the way, let's get to the ranking, shall we?

One Shot, Two Shot - It's cheerful, catchy, and easy to listen to. What else could I ask for? It just is captivating to me and I really really like it!

Only One - A classic for a reason. The whole package just works. It's just so well executed break-up story and the instrumentation is so so pleasant with BoA's lovely vocals.

Forgive Me - Well. I have been just flat out wrong about this one. I thought I didn't like it but now listening to it, wow it's great! The rock influence feels so fresh here. The rap feels maybe a tad unnecessary for me but other than that this is really cool and I have to give it the credit it deserves.

Hurricane Venus - My first BoA song! Severe amount of autotune but I can't help that the nostalgia makes me forgive that.

Girls On Top - Obviously the age of the song shows heavily but it just is so badass! Especially considering when it was released.

Better - Better was better than what I remembered. (yes, I'll see myself out) It has way too much catchiness to it for me to pass it by.

Copy & Paste - Admittedly not one of those songs that I would have listened to a lot but something in it makes me think it's pretty cool and I should have listened to more to it.

Woman - Cool and adult. Not just my personal favorites but undoubtedly deserving this spot.

Kiss My Lips - Just so well done song. Not thematically my fav but I can't ignore the catchiness of this one either.

My Name - My Name is undoubtedly cool. Gotta like it. No.1 - I mean this song was hugely popular for a reason. It's an easy to listen to upbeat number.

ID; Piece B - The age of the song is easy to spot. But still it's cool. And oh my was she good already despite being incredibly young.

Moto - I have to admit I only recognized the chorus. Hence, even though it sounds very cool, I can't lift it above the songs that I have listened to more. But clearly I should listen to this more often!

Atlantis Princess - For this one I don't have any personal nostalgia that would bump it up a bit. It's a perfectly fine song but for some reason I haven't really been the biggest fan of it personally.

Starry Night ft. Crush - Well here's one that has clearly completely went past my radar. Not the most interesting song either, so I'm not too sorry about the spot at the bottom.

Other songs needing a mention: Encounter - This was love on the first listen. Such a great one, highly recommend checking this one out! Shattered - It took me a while to fall for this one but it really is great. Camo & Nega Dola - Such a great ones that ended up not being title tracks like they should have been for no apparent reason. Valenti (Korean version) - For some reason this was the version I heard first and now it's the one I exclusively listen to. Energetic, Eat You Up, I Did It For Love, Did Ya - They very much sound like the western radio hits of that time and that's what they should have been. They sound nostalgic to me and the English is not an issue in these songs. Just impressive. Only downside here is that official versions of the bsides/music video-less songs seem to not be anywhere =/ Hence I'm not linking Did Ya here.

I didn't want to immediately think of baby monster as a copy of blackpink, both bc that's lazy of yg and bc so many people were already so ready to think that that I was afraid of being primed into thinking that too, but their new song is bp 2.0 in a disappointing way. Don't get me wrong, I think the chorus is catchy. The rappers especially are clearly Lisa and Jennie-coded, and the way they call themselves 'boss baby' after hearing bp call themselves 'boss bitch' so many times, it just is what it is. Coupled with it being unclear whether bp is renewing their contract the intention is obvious, and of course yg wants to copy its success. I don't think it'll be easy to really step into bp's shoes, bc part of the reason they grew so popular so quickly is bc the girl crush lane was pretty open, and it's not anymore. Meanwhile nj has been so successful bc they had a fresher concept that the gp was craving (and they're reportedly already planning to evolve it further in the vein of 'cool with you' - seemingly more low-fi contemporary). That being said, there are a lot of companies to make the west's new kpop(-esque) gg - hybe with katseye, jyp with vcha and yg with babymonster, and the west probably will only support one, so maybe there is a need for a bp successor. What gg concepts do you think have a chance of really breaking through in the west beyond what's happened so far with nj?

(p.s. sm made an interesting, possibly really smart, choice to focus on making a European boy group. Maybe this is a reach, but I think the greater interest in making a new western-oriented gg rather than a bg says something about how these companies are viewing bts' prospective popularity over the next couple years. I think most people assume that the west would really only support one big bg, so focusing on ggs may suggest that other companies expect bts to maintain their same level of popularity for a long time)

They honestly didn't remind me too much of BP, though there were many similarities. No offense to the girls, but the BP members are beautiful and always dressed in expensive clothes. I don't remember their debut song, but I don't think they were fresh-faced teenagers either. I noticed that the members had Western-style vocals, (they seemed like competent singers), like Jennie and Rosé, and one of them reminded me of Lisa. The Jennie/Lisa similarities were there for other members (unrelated, but one of the girls really reminded me of Alexa, actually). There was a scene where one of the girls wore a glamorous red dress, and she reminded me of Jisoo. Regardless, the overall product is way worse than anything I've heard from BP, and I'm not even their fan. The girls just don't have star power yet and the song isn't very catchy, nor trendy, and the visuals aren't there either.

YG really mustn't understand the current industry. This sound is the same sound many ggs have these days. To me, it was like BP mixed with XG, Alexa, and other lesser known groups. The MV was super low budget, their styling was awful, the dancing wasn't memorable (but the girls were good), the rapping was terrible (much harder to take than when it's Lisa and Jennie, since the posturing was a lot more obvious).

I can't imagine this group being successful like this, although they already are? It just feels like YG is stuck in the past. I think only Hybe is putting out stuff that doesn't feel dated or that has been done by their group before.

The West doesn't care about "concepts" the way kpop does. It's all about music and image. NJ don't have a badass image but they don't have a cutesy one either, and their music works for people because it's trendy, easy listening, and doesn't sound too kpop. What works in the West is stuff that isn't so kpop you can't enjoy it. Before I got into kpop, I listened to BP and immediately understood why they were popular and why the other groups couldn't touch them. They were the only gg I could listen to because they sounded Western and didn't have cringe cute concepts (I liked KTL, but I honestly didn't watch their MVs or anything). At first, BP, Mamamoo, G(I)-dle, RV, EXID, were the only groups I could like because they didn't have cutesy concepts.

Still, cringe fake badass concepts like this one won't work at all either. The girls can't pull it off. I think a strong image is important, because girls who look fragile and like they're acting innocent may turn men on, but certainly turn women off, and won't be taken seriously at all, yet, other than that, I think music's the biggest factor - maybe that's innocent of me. I don't believe NJ will ever be like BP. They lipsync all their stages and don't seem particularly exciting to me. Imo BP aren't great performers, but they engage the audience and sing live, so they give out a lot more energy and are more powerful and charismatic. I don't believe any group who lipsyncs all their stages will make it in the West. Naive? Maybe. But I think there's a reason why BTS and BP are where they are, and why SKZ have such impact. Maybe I'm biased. I certainly don't know the industry well.

I can't comment on the SM group, but I think it's going to be a long time before these international groups actually do well. Again, maybe I'm wrong. I don't understand what people like that well.

Oh, forgot to say that I liked the instrumental in the beginning a lot before the song got progressively worse. I liked the party outro too. I think the rapping ruined the song more than anything else.

this might be the quirkiest billlie title track to date - and that is saying something. it's really so refreshing to have a girl group that doesn't lean into girl crush or badass concepts while remaining fresh enough to stick out from sexy or cute concepts. and billlie have definitely found their strengths - this song has a whimsical feeling to it that makes the replay value pretty high.

every time i listen to it again i find new things to pick apart or latch onto - even though the chorus is not my favorite at all among billlie tt choruses (the flip flop part is repetitive enough to sound a little gimmicky and some parts sound like they could be from different songs) but nevertheless the girls bring a great energy to this and the whole track is enjoyable from beginning to end.

this is a welcome change after the pop rock sound of ring ma bell (i'm not particularly fond of guitar based kpop as you probably know) but it's still a very satisfying continuation of their sound progressing throughout the eras. this comeback feels very similar to gingamingayo era and that whole album - the dreamy synth sounds seem to be more prominent and overall this is a great continuation of that! 9/10 for this title track

there's always that song in a billlie album that i could do without - a song i don't particularly dislike but that i often forget what it even sounds like after it ends. i can tell this is that song now and i'm only 30 seconds in

the synths are again present throughout this but the topline does nothing to stick out for me - the chorus is weak but the vocals in the verses are pretty good! shoutout to haram and suhyeon for that btw but also let's talk about how pretty and satisfying haruna and siyoon's tones are.

anyway this is nothing that exciting or catchy for me so it gets a 7/10

OK LET'S GET INTO THIS REVIEW

gorgeoussss watery instrumental from the get go. the title really does make justice to the song - this is a whimsical soundtrack set to that moment right before the sun sets and the night comes in. the synths here are super pretty and give that magical feeling to what is a well crafted melody. the chorus is great and overall this might be my favorite album opener from billlie. 10/10

we start off with a powerful percussion that gives this the exact feeling of what i'm assuming is a war cry song - the title is pretty obviously chosen and by the time this song reaches the climax of the chorus the listener is already pumped as fuck.

this could easily be a loona song with a twist - right from around their so what era. the structure is pretty cool and coupled with a chant type of chorus that breaks down into a super catchy post chorus this song is sooo energizing. favorite part is definitely siyoon's rap verse - this girl has been practicing and you can tell she's found her own style! 10/10

face the sun/sector 17: march and ‘bout you just speak to me like no other song, i have no clue why! i think i appreciate how intricate the intros are as well as the general flow of the songs. i can’t wait to see them live!!

attaca: yk i pronounce this at ATacca and can’t fix it lmao but CRUSH CRUSH 1000%. it’s probably one of my favorite seventeen songs ever! To you and PANG! are also songs that are super close to my heart >_<

your choice: literally a masterpiece, i think there was one song that didn’t catch my ear immediately i love them ALL. i’d have to say heaven’s cloud, wave, and same 3x make me the happiest to listen to and can really bring my mood up whenever i’m down:)

semicolon: THIS ALBUM CHANGED MY LIFE BRO. home;run is and will continue to be my most watched, supported, and drooled over comeback yet. I’m a whore for vintage/historical concepts and lemme tell you it surpassed ALL my expectations 😩 and AH!LOVE? AH!LOVE? my most favorite song of seventeens to date ugh i can’t even explain how nostalgic it makes me feel! and the hyungs?! WHEW. hey buddy? the underdog and suchhh an underrated piece of art! don’t even get me started on light a flame because we all know it’s affect on the universe 🥴 and all my love makes my heart ache, it’s so incredibly beautiful, and do re mi gives the cutest vibes i hold back squeals listening to it <3

heng:garæ is simply a masterpiece, there’s no other way to put it. I wish and My My have to be my babies on this album 🥺 listening to them simply makes me smile. i’m just gonna add fallin’ flower to this one too bc WOW that song is nothing short of perfection i love it so much.

an ode: holy crap this album is just so captivating i couldn’t pick a fav if i tried. hit, fear, second life, lucky, snap shoot, and happy ending are what i listen to most from this album but network love will always have the biggest place for itself in my heart. i’ve even choreographed to it because i just think it was constructed magnificently!

you made my dawn: is just a masterpiece, can’t put it any other way. good to me is definitely my favorite off this album. it’s the kinda song you play in front of your mirror and pretend youre badass… which i may or may not do from time to time:3 home is the most memorable all time favorite, and hug makes me sob, simple.

you make my day: tied for my favorite of their albums along with semicolon, i cannot get enough of it!! oh my! is just about the purest, cutest song i’ve ever heard, and holiday brings such a reminiscent feel of all your good memories.
