I’ve been gone

I just finished reading a book that in its own way was insanely healing, it made me feel seen. I haven’t been here for years, let alone written new words because I have been trying to find myself. Nobody knows the secrets of mine that linger on these pages, or the pain that I went through and still experience. This little corner of the world is my escape, where I always wonder if someone is listening. Depression is hard but I carry with me quite a happy persona, so if you met me you wouldn’t know, and sometimes I think about dropping the facade and screaming and then I don’t, so this is why I’m here. After so long I’ve come to accept that me and my depression will have to be quiet friends, a warning I listen to when it rears its head, but I need someone to talk to, so I am back here in my little corner in the vast wide web. I hope you don’t mind my return.
