Jaksa KPK Jebloskan Mardani Maming ke Lapas Sukamiskin

Jaksa Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) menjebloskan mantan Bupati Tanah Bumbu, Mardani H Maming ke Lapas Sukamiskin. Kasus dugaan korupsi izin usaha pertambangan (IUP) yang menjerat Maming itu telah berkekuatan hukum tetap.

"Jaksa Eksekutor KPK, telah selesai melaksanakan eksekusi pidana badan dengan terpidana Mardani H Maming dengan cara memasukkan yang bersangkutan ke Lapas Sukamiskin, Bandung," kata Kabag Pemberitaan KPK, Ali Fikri, Senin (4/9/2023).

Ali Fikri menyampaikan, Mardani Maming dinyatakan bersalah melanggar Pasal 12 huruf b juncto Pasal 18 UU Tipikor. Maming mesti menjalani hukuman penjara serta membayar denda serta uang pengganti yang bernilai fantastis.

"Pidana penjara badan selama 12 tahun dikurangi lamanya masa penahanan saat proses penyidikan berjalan. Pidana denda sebesar Rp 500 juta. Pidana membayar uang pengganti sebesar Rp 110,6 miliar," ungkap Ali Fikri.

Sebagai informasi, mantan Bupati Tanah Bumbu, Mardani Maming dijatuhi hukuman 10 tahun penjara dan denda Rp 500 juta subsider 4 bulan kurungan oleh majelis hakim Pengadilan Tipikor Banjarmasin. Maming diyakini bersalah dalam perkara korupsi terkait izin usaha pertambangan (IUP) yang menyeretnya.

Mahkamah Agung atau MA menolak kasasi terpidana kasus dugaan suap izin tambang, Mardani H Maming. Dia diketahui mengajukan kasasi usai dihukum 12 tahun penjara, denda Rp 500 juta, serta membayar uang pengganti Rp 110,6 miliar oleh Pengadilan Tinggi (PT) Banjarmasin.

Jika uang itu tidak dibayarkan dalam sebulan usai putusan inkrah, harta Maming bisa disita serta dilelang.
