It's thinking about how to face the consequences of its impulsive actions! They're writing an email to Kinito but they don't want to bother him, they probably hurt him with their words and especially with their actions. Lobby was upset, Kinito was upset, everyone else is probably upset, he didn't think this far ahead.

The idea here is he's looking fairly human. But he's losing that the more the knows about himself as he is now, his ears are more round, he has a tail, ever so slightly his hands have webbing.

When I was trying to decide what kind of creature he is, I couldn't let go the little screaming of "monkey!!" in the back of my head (curse you Lego Monkie Kid (/pos) for irreparably changing the way I make characters why are they all freaking monkeys!? They can't all be monkeys!!!). So I made him a sea monkey. Not sea monkey as in brine shrimp but a monkey-creature-thing made to be in the sea, it's a pun. Water resistant fur, protective clear eyelids, ability to hold his breath far longer, webbing on his hands and feet. His digital form can change between looking human like he did before he died and looking how Key's helped him look in the digital world. They designed it together. Scar got to pick and add what he wanted. He has the prehensile tail of a new world monkey but more old world monkey facial features, he even added cat like behaviours he wanted, especially purring.

This is entirely self indulgent but he's me a little to the left so it doesn't matter! I love him he's just a guy.

Edit: I’m seeing folks that don’t know what a big bang is. Happy to explain!

Short version:

A big bang is where a fan writer agrees to write x number of words and they are paired with fan creators (artist/podficers/mixtapes mixers/multimedia/knitters/bookbinders/etc) who will produce a fanwork based off the fic created for the big bang.

A reverse big big is where the fan creator (see examples above) describes is paired with fic writers and the writers create something based off the fanwork.

You can look up the history of big bangs and reverse big bangs on fanlore. Im typing this on my phone between meetings. I am only a person and i can only do so much.

A preprint looking at the properties and evolution of the upcoming XEC variant that will likely cause the winter spike. It is more immune evasive, perhaps more contagious, but it does show less cell-to-cell fusion, which is a silver lining.

Abstract SARS-CoV-2 continues to evolve, producing new variants that drive global COVID-19 surges. XEC, a recombinant of KS.1.1 and KP.3.3, contains T22N and F59S mutations in the spike protein's N-terminal domain (NTD). The T22N mutation, similar to the DelS31 mutation in KP.3.1.1, introduces a potential N-linked glycosylation site in XEC. In this study, we examined the neutralizing antibody (nAb) response and mutation effects in sera from bivalent-vaccinated healthcare workers, BA.2.86/JN.1 wave-infected patients, and XBB.1.5 monovalent-vaccinated hamsters, assessing responses to XEC alongside D614G, JN.1, KP.3, and KP.3.1.1. XEC demonstrated significantly reduced neutralization titers across all cohorts, largely due to the F59S mutation. Notably, removal of glycosylation sites in XEC and KP.3.1.1 substantially restored nAb titers. Antigenic cartography analysis revealed XEC to be more antigenically distinct from its common ancestral BA.2.86/JN.1 compared to KP.3.1.1, with the F59S mutation as a determining factor. Similar to KP.3.1.1, XEC showed reduced cell-cell fusion relative to its parental KP.3, a change attributed to the T22N glycosylation. We also observed reduced S1 shedding for XEC and KP.3.1.1, which was reversed by ablation of T22N and DelS31 glycosylation mutations, respectively. Molecular modeling suggests that T22N and F59S mutations of XEC alters hydrophobic interactions with adjacent spike protein residues, impacting both conformational stability and neutralization. Overall, our findings underscore the pivotal role of NTD mutations in shaping SARS-CoV-2 spike biology and immune escape mechanisms.

Ron had read the text message and had taken the fastest route to his very best friend Kim Possible's house…on his bike…his scooter was broken and he still has to save up the money he earned…so he has to use the bike now.

"What does it look like?"

"Um….your curtain to the window looks….slightly burnt and….you hate panicking like crazy?"

"Wow, I would never have thought of that"

"Did the twins try to blow something up again?"

"Like your Barbie car for your 10th birthday?"

"What happened KP?"

"You mean the airplane adventure…the bouncy castle and the climbing ropes?"

Kim nodded and Ron remembered…it had only been yesterday evening and it had been pretty chaotic…but the duo had won, as always, against the evil of the world…in this case the battle against Shego and Dr. Drakken.

But why was Ron standing in his best friend's room that afternoon and looking at the burnt curtains on the window…thick, round burn marks adorned the otherwise beautiful girl's colors…was KP having his one week of the month again…or was she heartbroken?

"You know that strange device that Drakken used just before the climbing ropes were put in and the bouncy castle exploded…it sparkled so strangely and Shego complained of headaches?"

"Yeeeeees…"

"Look at that, Ron!"

It took a moment before Kim could demonstrate to him exactly what she meant.

Ron was amazed when Kim's hands glowed the same green as Shego's.

Kim had Shego's ability… because of Dr. Drakken's weird device… how crazy!

"Heyyyy do you know what that means?"

"I have even more problems with outbursts of anger…I think it's somehow connected to Shego's powers…they seem to be linked to emotions….."

"What? No, that's so cool! You need a new slogan - Kim Possible the Teen Heroine - now with a super power upgrade!"

Kim laughed for a moment.

"Okay…if Shego can handle it, it won't be that difficult, right?"

Kim quickly learned that it was wrong and that with supernatural power comes a lot of responsibility…and a lot of problems.

The teen heroine who can do anything…had problems getting used to this new thing. And there were many situations in which Kim…with the ability to destroy things…with the plasma green beam.

Her favorite mirror that she uses when putting on makeup was destroyed, as was one of the tops that she has taken to her heart… and she almost burned her bangs… and damn, cheerleading training was a challenge.

A week with the ability had been so demanding… it had advantages but it was also complicated to master… Kim was glad that she no longer had to feel the hot green plasma around both of her hands with every emotional turn.

"I was able to contact a scientist who can reverse the effect using a device that exists…" - Wade sipped his soft drink and tapped his keyboard on the computer to give Kim the adult's address.

"No more burned clothes," said Kim with a mixture of sarcasm and relief.

"Oh come on, as if you weren't happy that Bonnie runs away every time you act like an aggressive Shego… she's totally panicking"

Now it was Kim who laughed amusedly… oh yes, that was definitely the advantage.

"You can look at it that way…"

"Oh KP… I have the best idea, before we leave and you soon have to live without Shego's powers… wait, I'll be right back!"

It took less than three minutes until Ron came back with a pack of chocolate cookies and marshmallows and rustled the two bags demonstratively and euphorically.

"S'Mores?"

Kim nodded in agreement and let her right hand glow, which soon sparkled in the green-black plasma.

Spent a little time and worked out my own tiers for the quality of KP episodes. I'll keep it posi and only disclose my S-Tier:

So the Drama - Obviously. It's the movie and would've been a fitting end to the series.

Emotion Sickness - the shipping episode! Also obvious.

A Sitch in Time - It's kind of the same schtick that Dexter's Laboratory did with its movie (Ego Trip, it's good!), but I don't hold that against it. I dunno, I just find it fun to see an in-universe AU where Shego controls everything.

Rappin' Drakken - Legitimately might be the funniest episode. I often think of it as just the rap plot until I remember that episode opens with Barkin holding class outside and Ron accidentally finding the invisible base.

Blush - Well known as the "Drakken and Shego go on an evil date" episode, it's a unique little thing that includes an actually scary threat, a good merger of the high school/spy storylines, and Ron being valiant.

Stop Team Go - The Reverse Polarizer just offers up too many juicy possibilities.

Clothes Minded - Drakken and Shego reconcile . . . also Kim's various outfit experiments are very very funny.

Clean Slate - Another one that is legitimately really funny. It's a good in-fiction analysis of the outward appearance of Kim and Ron's relationship. Also, Kim says the L-Word.

Graduation - A fitting ending.

I ended up with a shocking 12 episodes in F-Tier, but if you can't say anything nice . . .

Not a huge KP fan, but I imagine Kim and Ron's family would sorta be a reverse of Kim's family.

Twin girls that are the older siblings and one little brother.

That would be an interesting take that I could see happening. Maybe the boy could also be adopted, similar to how the Stoppables adopted Hana? I kind of like the idea of the dynamic being the reverse of the Possible family, but having the connection to Ron's family via the youngest child being adopted.
