there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

he admired Jason for being a regular-ass kid who stepped into Dick's shoes and tried to fill them because Gotham and Batman needed Robin - a nigh impossible task because Dick was and is the best, as far as Tim was concerned, but Jason did it anyway.

very relatable! for a normal kid who daydreamed about being Robin! and didn't think he could ever live up to ✨Dick Grayson!✨ but was determined to do it anyway because he felt he had to, and no one else would!

my personal headcanon is that after flemythal uses the well's power on my lavellan for the first time, it sort of forcibly readjusts her accent when speaking elvhen, from "reasonably fluent modern dalish" to "crisply upper-class ancient arlathan". and she doesn't actually notice this at the time, bc by the time it happens, she's already Experienced Crestwood, and doesn't speak elvhen often otherwise.

but the next time she talks to solas and drops in a word or phrase in (stilted and unhappy) conversation, he very much does notice the shift, and feels a sense of palpable horror that she's already been a bit changed.

Do you have a tutorial on how you draw dragons? Specifically like,, body anatomy. I’m a beginner dragon drawer and I LOVE your dragon art!! So much!! I mainly draw cats (warrior cats kid boo), so a lot of the bodies I draw look very cat and not very dragon. Thanks a lot!

So— admittedly I’m not sure how much help i can be in the ‘not cat department’ (my dragons are drawn the same way as i draw cats with proportional changes + added body parts LMAO; though I find looking at larger cat species helps!) BUT! i do have this quick sketch i did for how i do the wings, and as for the rest of the body, i elongate and thicken most of the torso and neck and shorten the limbs! i like to make them seem like they could realistically fly, so I give them large barrel-chests to imply HUGE flight muscles, as well as lengthening the patagium/wing skin to around the middle of the tail for surface area! Referencing really any animal helps me too, go crazy with some more unusual/lesser used ones! For more squat bodies, as an example, I like to look at crocodilians, lizards, salamanders, and mustelids! In the case of animals that are also commonly hunted and eated (like alligators, for the sake of the example), looking up videos and photos of the animal being processed cn also give you a good look at the anatomy— if you’re not sensitive to that sort of content!

Post-invasion, Mikey sneaks into Leo’s room and when asked by Leo what the problem was, Mikey just smiles and says since he’s awake and knew Leo would be too, he didn’t want either of them alone. Leo laughs and lets Mikey stick around, both of them clumped together on Leo’s bed, watching grainy compilations of old Lou Jitsu commercials on Leo’s phone.

Technically, Mikey didn’t lie. He just didn’t explain everything that led him to Leo’s room. He didn’t explain the nightmare of his arms burning up too bright, too fast, destroyed before Raph and Donnie have a chance to help. He didn’t explain how he woke up with a wail caught in his throat, phantom pain in his arms and chest alike chasing away any semblance of exhaustion. He didn’t explain how his mind made sure he knew, vividly, that if one thing went wrong with his portal, then he would have never seen Leo again.

He didn’t explain, and he didn’t have to. Leo knows his brothers better than he knows himself, and Mikey has always been easy to read. So it’s no trouble to let Mikey know that he’s still with them, that Leo is here and alive with everyone else. And when Mikey finally regains his exhaustion and falls asleep leaning against Leo, Leo simply maneuvers him into a more comfortable position and stays by his side.

He doesn’t move, doesn’t go to sleep - not that he could, anyway. He just mindlessly scrolls on his phone, the soft snores of his little brother filling the room. He stays in place, awake, because he wants to be sure that when Mikey wakes up again it’s to the immediate sight that Leo is alive and well and home.

And, if Leo’s bring honest, that’s a reminder not just for Mikey’s sake.

In the preview for episode 7, we see Tong making a decision to move in with Mark for the better (in Tong’s POV)

In the last episode, we see a constant push and pull between Mark and Tong in how they would like to define their relationship, very cute banter just shy of declaring each other their faen (or boyfriend) XD

Tong setting Mark up (or testing Mark’s willpower) in all these situations:

1. Goodnight na krub

2. I thought you can endure it?

2.5: *making bedroom eyes at Mark

3. Khun, help me apply the sunscreen

4. Stretching out alluringly half-naked in front of Mark

However, despite Tong’s efforts, Mark shelved away his desire quite well (ah we can call Mark out that maybe not so well, but you know what I mean)

The one time we see Mark broke composure was due to Tong’s stabbed wound and even so Mark managed to regain his senses again and we could see that Mark felt so bad for (almost) hurting Tong.

I think it is really sweet that the first thing that Tong did after the whole ordeal was checked in with Mark if he is alright.

It’s also interesting that during the struggle between Mark and Tong when Mark’s vampiric self took over, Tong repeated “I’m sorry” three times as he cupped Mark’s face.

And later Tong blamed himself for getting hurt and causing the people around him to be affected. Here, the most obvious victim is Meena, but due to Tong’s repeated apologies during Mark and Tong’s earlier struggle, it made me think that Tong is blaming himself for making Mark lose his sense of self too.

I read many accounts about this scene and how it highlights the predator and prey relationship at the end of the day, and I don’t deny this.

But I think what makes this scene truly heartbreaking is how much we can infer from Tong’s words that he really wants to make this relationship work. We know Mark has given his words time and time again that he will “stand his ground”. It always seems like it’s only Mark who has the power to make it right because he is the vampire and the one who should restraint and control himself better. But to know that Tong, our little human also tasked himself to protect Mark through ensuring his own (Tong, himself) safety and staying out of harms way really made my heart swell.

And then at the end of the episode, when Mark presents Tong with a chocolate bar to help him feel better, Tong’s eyes soften like he has fallen even deeper for the vampire in front of him.

Tong: It’s (chocolate bar) ruined

Mark: Then you don’t have to eat it

I don’t know if you all find this conversation heart wrenching but it is for me, because when Mark said you don’t have to eat it, he was looking away from Tong but Tong was looking at Mark like he is the stars and the moon.

And then when Tong thanked Mark, Mark didn’t think of it as a big deal and simply reminded Tong that he is his bodyguard. In this moment, Tong’s smile goes a little wider and I truly believe that this exact moment has Tong falling even deeper in love with Mark (adding on from the chocolate giving gesture) because Tong can see that Mark really has his well being as a priority. And I think this touches Tong so so much.

Tong has always wanted genuine connection and I think what Mark did in the recent episode from resisting all of Tong’s seductions, clamping down his vampire self, giving chocolate to offer comfort, and all this to be simply contend to be a bodyguard just to protect Tong.

These actions (by Mark) have earned Tong’s trust and how much Tong wants Mark by his side because just as how I view Tong as a sweet sweet boy in how he puts others above himself. Mark here is also just as sweet and warm (in Tong’s POV) because Tong sees how Mark places Tong before himself.

And this is why this episode to me is about trust. Trust comes not because what was spoken but what was done.

Add on: This all explains why Tong just mesh their mouths together without warning with all these overwhelming feelings of love for Mark
