Hanako : the face of someone who’s happy to get married – and hey , what’s this ? There’s artwork of her , hand-in-hand , right next to her now husband , as you would naturally expect to get if you’re a fan of any newly married couple
Rukia : the face of someone who’s clearly second-guessing her choice   I feel like I can also even safely say that this feels like the cover for an arranged marriage   Because there’s nothing in her expression here that says happiness ; RR fans are simply and obviously projecting if they see such   That projection is hilarious as well , because here’s Rukia in her pervious novel ,
Tumblr media
Now this is bright-as-day happiness – no one would ever doubt or deny that Such a comment , however , cannot be honestly said for the marriage novel cover – and here’s the real kicker – Kubo could have easily drawn Rukia looking plainly happy – yet , he chose the particular expression that he did instead – why ?  Why even do that ? He could’ve easily also drawn a similar illustration like the Wotakoi artwork one What’s more hilarious is that , if IH was ever the ‘ main ’ couple – where is their marriage novel then ? To this day , a decade later , they still don’t even have any art as an official couple , let alone any color spreads of just the two of them in the original manga Furthermore , the final volume cover of the Bleach manga had Ichigo & Rukia on it   Logically , there is no reason then to not have Rukia , and Renji on the cover for their ‘ marriage ’ novel – so , why wasn’t he also on it ?   1 , They know Rukia sells   2 , They knew that they could still get a solid enough number of IR fans to buy the novel if the cover had only Rukia on it Simple business   I cannot speak on the novel itself since to this day , I’ve never actually read it – why would I ?  Just from the title alone and still knowing it’s general contents though – it all feels like one big joke and a spit in the face   From the very same novel author who had previously written a handful or so of great IR moments – to them writing a RR wedding   ‘ We do NOT always love you ’ - of course they don’t

Achilles dressed as Pyrrha
There is a Hercules knot on his waist, a Roman wedding knot
In my version of patrochilles, Patroclus is at least 3 years older than Achilles. And since Achilles was still a teenager in Skyros, Patroclus would be taller than him.

Women's coiffures for evening dress in Paul Gavarni's Journal des gens du Monde, 1834. Art by Gavarni (Rijksmuseum).
Apollo knot
(F)
Period: 1824–1838.
False hair plaited into a loop or loops and wired to stand above the head; for evening and some day hair styles.
— Valerie Cumming, The Dictionary of Fashion History (second edition)
The satirical magazine Le Charivari also depicted the Apollo knot in this 1832 cartoon detail by Honoré Daumier (Met Museum).
Tumblr media
"The Mayeux knot, known as Apollo." I've found some references to hairstyles by Mayeux, but I'm not sure if this was a real person or a caricature persona.

Who says white shirts have to be boring? When you pair one with a bold red necktie, you instantly elevate your look and make a statement. The contrast between the two colors is striking and eye-catching, yet still maintains a classic and timeless feel.
Whether you're dressing up for a formal occasion or just want to add a touch of sophistication to your everyday wear, a red necktie and white shirt combo is always a winner. And don't forget about the little details that make a big difference, like a well-fitted suit jacket or a sleek pair of dress shoes.
But the most important thing when it comes to dressing well is confidence. Wear what makes you feel good and own your style. After all, the most stylish people are the ones who feel comfortable in their own skin.

during the leon wearing a dress to disguise himself thing i admittedly didn’t actually get the joke at first with the “what’s taking you so long” “i’m a woman” exchange and then once i finally did i was like . leon you’re literally a knight you have easily 4 layers of garment to put on basically every fucking day and you expect me to believe (even with a squire or servant) that it takes you less time to get ready than the average woman? pardon fucking me but i do not believe it
