°˖❀ A tiny creature no taller than your thumb stands on the rock before you. Its eyes are covered by dark curly bangs, but it appears to be looking at you in curiousity.
The creature reaches into the pocket of its sweater (which appears to be made of an old sock) and takes out a clover. This must be a peace offering.
"In emat on atana!" it declares, in a language you've never heard before. Its tail, resembling a red feather, wags back and forth slightly.
Do you take it? ❀˖°

[Welcome to the home of the local minish! This is a semi-selective rp blog run by hoodie-prince-kid, open to interaction suggestions. Feel free to ask if you'd like to interact. Mun uses he/him, muse uses he/they/it with no preferences.
Romari in canon verse is a Picori/Minish from The Legend of Zelda universe, and while they will adhere mainly to those rules (speaking backwards, sharing kinstones, faintly mouselike), this interpretation takes a more general approach with inspiration from The Borrowers and The Littles.
Because Romari speaks the Minish language, most of its interaction will be action rather than dialogue. If applicable, translations will be provided under a cut.
This take on the Minish language is anglicized Japanese spelled backwards. For example:
"Hello!" -> "こんにちは!" -> "Kon'nichiwa!" -> "Awihcin'nok!"
English -> Katagana -> Anglicized -> Backwards (Minish)
I am not a native Japanese speaker, and all of my translations are done through Google translate. I do not intend to appropriate the language or culture; this language is simply built on the way it is presented in The Legend of Zelda.
All text out of character, including translations, will be written in [square brackets].
That's about all. Don't make me write a DNI, but otherwise, hope you folks enjoy your time here!]

RP HOOKS
Military: Thomas has served within the First Regiment for nearly a decade, in conflicts spanning the world over. It’s very possible we campaigned together somewhere.
Informality: An avid hunter and fisherman, it’s not uncommon to find him on a pond’s or river’s edge casting a line, or maybe hauling a dressed deer carcass out of the woods. Those of holy pursuits might recognize him from his routine weekly prayers at the Cathedral. He would sometimes be accompanied by his son and his sister.
Nobility: The Nobles of Stormwind would recognize Thomas from his time actively serving within the House of Nobles, specifically the Ministry of Interior as the Master of Forests
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
Thomas’ story is pretty open-ended but most of his major plot arcs are coming to completion. I would love to develop some new ones with friends old and new.
The writer is 18+ and would prefer to write with those similar due to the possibility of dark themes coming to life. Thomas despises undead of any kind (Scourge, Forsaken, Death Knights, etc) as they are outside the natural Life/Death cycle. Though he dislikes Horde as a entity, he judges individuals on their actions and has had some... cordial interactions with Horde members at neutral events (e.g. ToA and Conquest).

I took this format from @gilded-divinity, who borrowed it from @anecdotes-of-a-keeper & @thaneirstaer :P

ARTHAS’ RP PLOTTING CHEAT-SHEET!
Want new-and-exciting plots for your character? Long to reach out to more of your followers, but don’t know where to start? Fear not! Fill out this form and give your RP partners both present and future all the of juicy jumping off points they need to help you get your characters acquainted.
Be sure to tag the players whose characters YOU want more cues to interact with, and repost, don’t reblog! Feel free to add or remove sections as you see fit. Template here.
Mun name: Frost
OOC Contact: Ask/IMs. Discord if we’re close.
Who the heck is my muse anyway?
Arthas Menethil is the Lich King of the Scourge, which means that he is the tyrannical god-emperor of various undead creatures (zombies, ghosts, wights, vampires, and Frankenstein-esque monstrosities just to name a few). He was originally a heroic, benevolent man before falling to evil and deciding he liked it down in the dark.
In addition to his Scourge, he is worshiped and obeyed by an assortment of organizations of various living beings, and even a certain pack of werewolves. He is the most powerful necromancer in the world, and has aspirations of killing everyone to raise them as subjects for his kingdom of the dead.
Points of interest:
Fall of the Lich King happened, wherein he died after Frostmourne was shattered. Bolvar was the Lich King for a while. Kel’Thuzad eventually found and stole Arthas’ body before resurrecting his lord, and they gallivanted around Azeroth during the Cataclysm, trying to find the shards of Frostmourne and stay out of public sight. Eventually (in MoP) they make their way back to ICC, kill Bolvar, and Arthas is the Lich King once more.
My portrayal of Arthas borrows heavily from Rise of the Lich King in addition to Warcraft III and Wrath; I more or less ignore what Chronicles says about him, because I prefer the way that Rise explored his struggle between humanity and inhumanity and it gives me a bit of content to work in regards to building up an idea of who Arthas was in life, and how that stays with him in death.
The Lich King is a god(ish) and Arthas has the ego, power, and cult to back up that mentality. He can and has murdered dozens of heroes with little more than a wave of his hand; is capable of resurrecting ancient, powerful entities to serve him in undeath; grants “blessings” upon those who earn his favor; and possesses an empire of slavering monsters chomping at the bit to do absolutely anything he says. ‘Human’ is not the word for what he is anymore.
And Arthas was once a man; no matter how hard he has ever tried, no matter what he’s done to himself or to anyone else, Arthas is still plagued by the vestiges of his humanity, which often manifests as him taking a special interest in certain individuals: Jai.na, Andu.in, adventurers, and (negatively) Syl.vanas for instance. As a result, his reactions to people are sporadic: he might show surprising lenience or tolerance for acts of defiance and opposition should the perpetrator tug on the right heartstring.
Arthas has a daughter whom is generally his Deathlord in the pertinent verses. Her status as his daughter is relatively common knowledge post-Wrath of the Lich King, and is a contentious spot for him.
What they’ve been up to recently:
WARCRAFT: Arthas has been (quietly, quietly) aiding in the repulsion of the Burning Legion from Azeroth, for he despises his old demonic masters and has no intention of losing his world to them. He is also busy reestablishing the Scourge as a power to be feared, and returning Northrend under his control. With the conclusion of Legion, he is now focused upon rebuilding his kingdom after the Burning Legion trashed it again and also I’m paying zero attention to what’s going on in Battle of Azeroth so idk any way to really integrate him!!! Also we’re gonna just ignore everything that kickstarted Shadowlands because fuck that noise.
SWTOR: Darth Necrolis, once a promising Jedi Knight, now an insidious Lord of the Sith, seeks out the eldritch knowledge of Darth Nihilus and even the Emperor, Vitiate, in his quest to obtain immortality. Although, gifted with the frightening ability to bind Force ghosts to himself, one wonders if his search is redundant at this point.
Where to find them:
WARCRAFT: Northrend in general, and Icecrown in particular, are the Lich King’s usual haunts, along with other Scourge strongholds such as the Plaguelands or Naxxramas. He may also wander through areas of present note because he’s a curious lad. (Aka the current expansion’s region: Broken Isles for Legion, Pandaria for Mists, etc., etc….)
SWTOR: While Necrolis can generally be found nearly anywhere in Imperieal space, Dromund Kaas and Korriban are perhaps the safest locations to catch him. He may also be within his citadel on the wintry planet on Northrend.
Current plans:
WARCRAFT
RESTORE THE SCOURGE: We trashed his kingdom last time we took a gander through Northrend, and he’s hard at work not only repairing what we broke, but reinforcing it. To that end, he seeks to otain new resources and sources of power. Azerite, for example…
CORRUPT THE KNIGHTS OF THE EBON BLADE: Particularly from Legion onward, the Lich King has his eye on Acherus and its denizens, subtly setting in place plans to turn the world against him and leave them no recourse but to return to the Scourge.
KILL EVERYONE: Self-explanatory.
SWTOR:
CRUSH THE REPUBLIC: Jedi are nerds and he WILL stuff you into a frozen space locker.
OBTAIN IMMORTALITY: He’s going to end up devouring a planet a la Vitiate, I feel.
BIND MORE FORCE GHOSTS TO HIMSELF: More ghosts = more power = good.
BECOME THE NEW EMPEROR: You’re not a real Sith Lord if you’re not trying.
Desired interactions:
SCOURGE AND CULTISTS: What’s a king without his kingdom?
ALIVE: I don’t write a lot with or about Arthas prior to his fall, and I really should. It’s a fun exercise in trying to show those hints of the boy who will be king, and the boy who might not have.
DEATH KNIGHT: Back when he was still on Ner’zhul’s payroll and edging the line of being a little too human in his monstrosity.
POST-RESURRECTION: OR Arthas “Matthias Lehner” Menethil wanders around Azeroth trying not to get caught out as Arthas Menethil whilst hunting down the erstwhile remnants of his shattered sword.
THWART HIS PLANS! I don’t think I have any real developed antagonistic relationships on this blog which is a shame.
SWTOR - LITERALLY ANYTHING: Pls, I’m begging you, indulge my SW love.
Offered interactions:
MONSTER DAD: Arthas adores inhuman abominations and eldritch beasts, whether they were Once a Man or were never mortal to begin with, and he’ll adopt (”adopt”) any and all at the drop of a hat.
DEAL WITH THE DEVIL: For the low, low price of your immortal soul, all your dreams can come true if you just make him an offer. Or, better: he makes the offer to you.
ANNOYING BYSTANDER: Arthas loves to just show up and talk shit at everyone around for no apparent reason, it happens in canon and it happens on this blog all the time. Let’s see you try to kill that big evil demon while the fucking Lich King is off to the side reading a magazine and criticizing your talent choices.
“JOIN” THE SCOURGE: Fight the Lich King! Die to the Lich King! Get resurrected as an atrocity against life by the Lich King!
Current open post/s:
No.
Anything else?:
I’m very slow and prickly, but in the way that grandfather spider in Spirited Away was, so don’t worry too much about it.
Tagged by: reposting ‘cause it’s been a while
Tagging: this was. a lot.

When you first started creating your story’s/art what would you say was your inspiration, by the way it’s because of wonderful creators like you that I’m so glad to be apart of this community. Your story tales of tail truly hits home of dark struggles, and the potential to loose control. Thank you so much and just know this cat basilisk will always be a big fan of yours ^.,,.^
Glad to hear you’re enjoying it all.
The story began as a visualization of a series of E-RP sessions where I developed a setting and we just went from there. I’m not sure what came first, the sessions or the character sketches, but I made some really simple tail-painting scribbles to accompany a dumb idea about Battle Cocks I had (knight roosters), and then the snowball began a-rollin’.
Obviously, I have a lot of inspirations from fantasy and sci fi settings alike, D&D, Avatar has a small part to play in it with how magic is handled and used, there’s some Magic; The Gathering inspiration in magitech and the civilization style. Like all artists, I borrow from a lifetime of sources and things I enjoy, and create my own from it.

Classic WoW vs. Retail WoW
Someone posted a cool RP prompt on the WoW forums with all the Classic hype. They asked a number of questions for those playing current characters and how they were 8 years ago in vanilla.
Source link
Where was your character during Classic? William “Billy” Skellig was a forsaken privateer(undead rogue) during this time, prior to his 2nd death before being raised once more as a death knight. In this timespan, he served in the Windrunner Fleet, earning his way to Captain of the Dark Defiance.
What was your character’s personality like, in the Classic era? He was a little more outgoing and reckless during this time as he had been released from the scourge and had regained his free will. He felt his resurrected life meant he had been given a second chance and he certainly wasn’t going to let the Lady Sylvanas down by wasting his new undead life.
What was your character doing during Classic WoW? He spent much of his time raiding bloodsail and brashtide vessels for both the Banshee Queen and the Blackwater Raiders. On occasion, he would seek out artifacts and treasures at the request of the Windrunner Fleet. (Hint: some potential classic guild storylines INC!!)
Have your character’s values changed over the 8 years that’ve passed between Classic and BfA? If so, how and why? Yes. When he fell in battle shortly before year 27, only to be raised once again as a death knight - once again under Arthas’ command and subsequently given free will once again after the Battle of Light’s Hope - he now knows he’s on borrowed time. Twice cursed and twice damned by the Lich King will put a damper on your spirit. All that time serving a bloody blade under the Lich King put enough horrors in his mind to fracture his sanity somewhat. Since then he’s become dark, brooding, and suspicious of others.

Additional information
Azraeyl Dawnblood and Raiynne Emberfire were a couple driven by the desire for power. Raiynne's passion was fire magic and she passed on her knowledge to her daughter, Maliscia. When Kael'thas left for the Outlands, so too did Azraeyl and his son, Sephir. In his absence Raiynne began to delve into Blood Magic to fuel her desire for control, and from there she began to collect a gathering of followers.Deemed a weakness by her mother, all she could do was watch by the sidelines as her mother went about her plans. Her father and brother, never returned from the Outlands.
Maliscia distanced herself from her mother, and when news came of her death from the hands of her lover, Maliscia was not surprised. She had moved on with her own life. She had married a Blood Knight by the name of Draevyn Dawnweaver and was living happily at the family home, Dawnhaven Manor, in the Alterac Mountains, which was now owned by her Aunt, Kallynn Dawnbrook.
Dawnhaven Manor was a place where travellers from either faction could stay for a while, as per her Aunt's decree. Her husband was sent on a mission and she spent her days in the gardens and the libraries of the estate. She befriended a man named Kaldora, who had started working as the Chef in the estate, and an affair began.
Upon his return, Draevyn learned of the affair and a confrontation took place in the garden. It had just started to rain when the two men clashed swords, their fight taking them down the dirt path within the mountains, and it was the terrain that ultimately did them both in. Slipping on the rocks, Kaldora reached out and grabbed Draevyn dragging him down the side of the mountain with him, the fall killing them both.
Maliscia collapsed onto the ground in agony, the rain pummeling her body as she prayed for her death, and when she heard the voice, she was certain it was death coming to claim her. Darkness enveloped her body and everything went black...
Several months later, the light returned and she found herself in the Telogrus Rift, much had happened and she was shocked to learn of her exile from Silvermoon. The previous years events and whatever had happened to her in the void had changed her. She turned her focus to her studies, picking up her mothers research into Blood Magic, and vowing not to fall down the same path as her mother, and to not allow herself to love.
While living among the citizens of Stormwind she met the High Inquisitor of the House of the Nine, who allowed her a room within his estate to continue her research. With help from other members of the Nine she was able to master the Blood Illusion spell, and return to Quel'thalas.
Possible plots/pre-established relationships
When in Silvermoon City Maliscia uses a guise that is not her own. The woman whose image she “borrows” is not well known, but has gone missing from places she would have used to frequent.
Maliscia was married to a Blood Knight named Draevyn Dawnweaver (Personal NPC). He would have been known by other Blood Knights, and was found dead in the Alterac Mountains about a year ago along with another man. Maliscia had gone missing after the incident and rumors say she was involved in the deaths of these two men. She would be recognized by name only, not appearance.
Maliscia’s mother, Anarane “Raiynne” Emberfire, was once well known in SIlvermoon as that crazy bitch who wanted to take control of the city. She was run out of the city and later killed. Maliscia was merely a background character during her mothers escapades but could be known by others that knew her mother.
What I’m looking for
Long-Term RP Contacts - From established plots, to people to converse with at the local tavern.
An established RP Character to play her long-lost older brother, who went to Outlands with her Father with Kael'thas and never returned.
A Dark/Evil RP Character interested in writing a story that takes place during her blackout in the Void. (Discord RP)
An apprentice to teach Blood Magic
OOCly, I am
Friendly, but can be rather shy. I am trying to work with my anxiety and get out there more, but often times I don’t speak unless spoken too.

Do not reblog this, please. This is just for my own personal use for RPs on this blog, that’s all.
Fair warning, this movie borrows a lot from TROS and just fixes the parts I don’t like/that need to change due to me changing Episode VIII too, so don’t read this until after you’ve seen TROS or you will be spoiled to an extent (also, the way I wrote it expects you to have seen TROS). I’m not tagging this as spoilers because I don’t want it showing up in the general tags, though.
(See here for Episode VIII)
Star Wars Episode IX: The Final Hope
We catch back up with Rey on Crait again, in the Imperial science outpost. About a year has passed since the events of the last movie. Rey is floating in the room, meditating, trying to use the Force to see visions of this place’s past. She manages to see a quick image of her younger self being taken by two scientists and quickly being loaded into a ship, the same ship seen briefly in her memories in TFA. She gets frustrated as she can’t seem to get any visions of what happened with her after that, and stops meditating, turning to leave the room before stumbling back as she realizes she’s not alone, and in front of her stands...herself, a darker version of herself.
Rey quickly draws her lightsaber, her lightsaber, not the Skywalker lightsaber, a dual-bladed green lightsaber that bears a strong resemblance to her staff, and the dark vision in front of her draws her own red lightsaber, ready to fight if needed, but the vision tells Rey to not be afraid, as she’s not here to fight her, just to warn her, that her Master had felt a disturbance in the Force, and that something bad was going to happen soon. Before Rey can get her to explain any further, she vanishes.
Rey walks out into the hangar, and mere moments later, the Falcon arrives and lands there. Finn and Poe walk out and go over to Rey. They catch her up on their own recent mission, and Rey tells them what she’d just seen and that they needed to go see Leia.
But soon after they take off, both Rey and Finn feel something in the Force, they both look distressed, but Rey even moreso. Rey says they need to go to Jakku before they go see Leia, Finn asks why Jakku, and Poe says that’s way off course, but Rey insists, she just has a bad feeling.
When they get to Jakku, or, rather, where Jakku used to be, it’s not there. There are remnants of the planet, but it’s been destroyed. Rey looks completely distraught, and Finn pulls her in for a hug and tells Poe to fly them out of there.
When they get to the new Resistance Base (the same one as in TROS), Leia gives Rey a hug, saying she could feel Jakku being destroyed as well, and she knows what it’s like to lose your homeworld. The issue, though, is that they’re not sure what destroyed the planet, as there was no superweapon near the planet, and no lazer was shot across the galaxy, it just blew up out of nowhere. Rey said she felt the Dark Side of the Force when they went to what remained of Jakku, and also tells her about the vision of her dark self. Leia says those are both worrying, but also that she should talk to Eyra.
Eyra, who was training in the forest with her lightsaber, tells Rey, over a sparring match between the two of them, that she still hasn’t been able to find Myka, the Knight of Ren that was missing during the throne room scene in the last movie. There has been no trace of her anywhere. There was also no sign of Vida, but she clearly had experience in hiding, considering how long she’d been around.
Once their sparring match was over, Eyra headed back to base, while Rey stayed in the forest. Soon after, the dark vision of Rey appeared again. This time, Rey started to attack her doppelganger, asking if she had anything to do with Jakku. Her dark self told her that no, she didn’t, but she had a plan to figure out who did. She tells Rey of the Wayfinders, which would lead them to a secret Imperial Base that Palpatine had built in the far reaches of the galaxy. Rey questions how she can be sure that she isn’t being lured into a trap, and her dark mirror tells her her story. That while Rey was the first ‘successful’ creation at the Crait science outpost, she, Kira, was a ‘failed’ one that had been made before that point. They’d had her age to maturity rapidly, which had been a mistake, as once she discovered her connection to the Dark Side of the Force, she’d quickly realized that the false memories they’d given her were fake, and the scientists’ true intentions for her, she’d escaped. Then they’d made Rey, who aged at a natural pace, as she would be easier to control, but she was saved by two of the better scientists. Kira had returned to Crait soon after Rey had been taken away from it, and slaughtered those that remained there, which had led to Luke finding it. Kira had been doing her best to destroy all of the Emperor’s contingency plans over the past couple decades, which was how she’d learned of the Wayfinders. Rey deduces that, since Kira was older than her, and yet looked exactly the same, she must’ve know Vida, and trained under her. Kira says that’s true, she is both Vida’s apprentice, but also that, while Rey may not be a big fan of Vida, they had common goals here - to find whoever was responsible for the destruction of Jakku and prevent them from doing it again. They could sort out their differences afterwards. And so, a tentative alliance was formed. Kira tells Rey to go to Pasaana, while her and Vida and their allies will follow another lead they have.
The next part of the movie would be fundamentally the same as TROS, with Rey, Finn and Poe going to Pasaana, meeting Lando there and finding the ship (but the parts about Rey’s parents are about the scientists that saved her instead, but they’re killed by the Palpatine loyalist all the same). Obviously, since Kylo’s dead, he’s not there, though. Instead, Myka is hunting them:
Myka has Sith Troopers with her, as opposed to the Knights of Ren (as they’ve been disbanded already). Myka tells Rey to stop avoiding her destiny, and to go with her so that she can become the Emperor’s vessel, but Rey refuses and fights her off. Instead of needing to hack C3P0 to get him to translate the dagger, though, Rey contacts Kira, who tells her to head to Kijima and she’ll find Vida there, who can translate it for her.
When they get to Kijima, they run into Zorii (who isn’t Poe’s ex, since Poe is gay like Oscar Isaac wanted), who leads them to Vida, and explains that Vida has protected Kijima from the First Order since she showed up there, as Vida kills anybody from the First Order that shows up there soon after they arrive. Vida flirts with Rey a bit and translates the text on the dagger, telling them to go to the Death Star remains.
Again, this next part is mostly the same, with them meeting Jannah near the Death Star remains, but when Rey goes to the remains on her own, she doesn’t meet Kylo (obviously), instead, Myka finds her there. Myka again insists on Rey coming with her, and reveals that she’d been working on the Emperor’s behalf for years while she’d been a Knight of Ren. Years ago, Myka had found Palpatine’s secret Imperial Base, and had been given the 'honour’ of being the vessel for part of Palpatine’s soul, but she had to bring Rey to the base so that he could possess just a single vessel, with Rey being that vessel. Rey, again, fights Myka off, and grabs the Wayfinder and escapes to join back up with the others, and they quickly make their way back to the Falcon, and head to Ahch-To, knowing that the First Order had never found the planet, so that would be the safest place to take a breather and decode the Wayfinder.
As Finn and Poe work on getting the Wayfinder wired into the Falcon to decode it, Rey walks out and walks around the island, and meets Luke’s Force Ghost, who leads her to Leia’s lightsaber and gives it to her. Rey admits to Luke that she’s scared to face Palpatine, or whatever’s left of him, but figures she has to do it regardless. Luke gives her a pep talk and tells her that confronting her fear is the destiny of a Jedi and all that. Soon after, Rey is called back into the Falcon as the Wayfinder has been decoded. Rey contacts Kira and relays the information from the Wayfinder to her while Poe sends the information to the Resistance.
And so they all head to Exogol, which is, essentially, another Starkiller Base. There is also an artificial moon orbiting the base, though, and Rey says that’s where they need to go. The Resistance arrives soon after them, and a bunch of fighters come out of the base & moon (which are established to be the First Order). Poe & Chewie (who are flying the Falcon) drop Rey and Finn off on the moon, before heading back out to join the fight. Others such as Lando, Zorii, Jannah, Paige and more are all involved in the fight, and Leia leads the Resistance from their flagship. Rey and Finn are soon joined by Eyra & the other former Knight of Ren that joined the Resistance, as well as Vida, Kira, and a few other of Vida’s apprentices.
They make their way to the throne room, where they find a sort-of alive Palpatine (like in TROS), and he explains how this base can hit any planet he wishes, since he has collected a number of Force Sensitives and brainwashed them into blindly following him, and their combined strength can be used to essentially teleport the beam across the galaxy without the base even needing to be anywhere near the target. Jakku was merely a test fire, the next target would be Coruscant.
They are then ambushed by Myka and a number of Sith Troopers, and various lightsaber battles break out (Finn has a blue lightsaber). Eyra specifically goes after Myka, trying to talk her down, and make her remember who she was before Palpatine had brainwashed her.
Meanwhile, outside, the canon on the base is starting to glow red, clearly starting to power up. Leia, on the flagship, gets an idea, and speaks over the comms to make sure that nobody is left on the flagship with her, and for everybody to make sure they keep their distance from the base. Poe asks what she’s planning because he doesn’t like the sound of it. Leia just tells him that the Force is with all of them, and they are the final hope for the galaxy. Leia hears her brother’s voice, telling her to use the Force (mirroring Obi Wan’s voice in Luke’s head when he blew up the first Death Star), as she aims the flagship at the base’s cannon, and activates its hyperdrive. The flagship flies right into the cannon and crashes into it, and that impact, combined with the fact that the cannon was about the fire the exact second it was hit, causes the entire base to be destroyed.
Back in the throne room, the ones who had trained under Leia can all feel her death as it happens, in addition to the explosion shaking the ‘moon.’ Palpatine, growing frustrated, uses the Force to drag Rey and Kira over to him, and starts to use the Force to drain the life out of them. Eyra, meanwhile, manages to disarm Myka and tries to talk some sense into her, telling her to reject Palpatine, and manages to convince her with a kiss. Rey, meanwhile, starts mumbling ‘be with me’ until she starts to hear the voices of past Jedi, and they appear as Force Ghosts around her, including Leia (and everybody that’s heard in the similar scene in TROS). Their strength helps Rey stop Palpatine from draining the life force of both her and Kira, before Rey draws her lightsaber as well as Leia’s, and, like in TROS, she crosses them and deflects it back at him, which causes his life support system to explode and he dies. Rey and Kira both then collapse, and Finn and Vida rush over to them, respectively, and hold them. When Rey and Kira wake up, Rey kisses Finn and Kira kisses Vida. They have to quickly get out of the moon, though, as Palpatine was partially holding it together himself, and his life support system was directly wired into its computer, too, so it has been heavily destabilized. When they get back to the hangar, the Falcon flies in, and the Light Side users (plus Myka) go into it, while Vida & her allies go to Vida’s ship that they arrived in, and they all take off.
Once Rey gets her energy back, she initiates a connection with Kira, who is in worse shape, but resting, with Vida next to her. Rey talks to Vida, and says she’s not as bad as Rey first though, and they probably didn’t need to be enemies, but she’d like it if Vida tried not to kill too many people. Vida insists she does her best to only kill bad people (but, admittedly, sometimes people that just annoy her too). Vida does say, though, that should Rey start up another Jedi Order like the old one, then they’d, unfortunately, meet again as enemies, citing that the old Jedi Order became too involved in the politics of the galaxy for her liking, as well as not being a big fan of the religious elements of both the Jedi and the Sith, and if she wants to know more about the issues of the old Jedi Order, she should talk to Ahsoka some more (since she was one of the Force Ghosts that had appeared, so Vida knew that was a possibility). Rey says that she doesn’t think the Jedi way is for her anyways, considering her relationship with Finn wouldn’t be allowed for a Jedi. They shake hands before the connection is ended.
The movie ends with Rey (who has taken the Skywalker name), Finn and Poe moving into the Lars household on Tatooine, and specifically ends on a shot of Rey looking at the twin suns setting.

For the questions about creating your OCs ask - all of them! Or whatever questions nobody has asked yet. #LateToParty #LazyAsk
At first I thought “oh shit, I dunno how to answer a lot of these…” but then I spent 208 minutes in a Labyrinth of the Ancients queue and HERE WE ARE. Thank u frend. I know I can always count on you to indulge me.
1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
Honestly I just wanted to play a dark-skinned character since my last MMO didn’t let you pick skin colors and I got bored of white being the “default.” And because no one asked, I think if Fal were in our world, he’d be some kind of west asian/native american mix. Cheekbones for days.
2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?
Nope! Because I didn’t know jack squat about the game until I started playing.
3. How did you choose their name?
I just cherry-picked two names from old english literature and smashed them together. Falerin in the name of a minor villain in Arthurian legend, and Arcite was a knight in one of the stories told in The Canterbury Tales. I didn’t realize I’d misspelled it until I was a few weeks into playing. Oops?
4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?
Miqo’te culture and society. I really didn’t want to play a catboy, but I was really fascinated by their naming conventions and their identity as a hunting people. I still would LOVE more info on the Seeker tribes especially. The fact that all 26 tribes have an individual animal totem really has me curious how they would differ culturally. Although I do still think the rigid gender politics among both clans are kinda gross.
5. Is there any significance behind their hair color?
…Not really. Glossy black hair is pretty with dark skin?
6. Is there any significance behind their eye color?
Dark blue is one of my favorite colors and I thought it’d be quite striking with Fal’s dark skin and angular features. Oh man a brown person with blue eyes someone call a National Geographic photographer.
7. Is there any significance behind their height?
Originally I just wanted to go on the tall end of average midlander height but didn’t want to seem insecure by setting the height bar at max lolololol. However, once I decided he had some Elezen heritage, it seemed appropriate to make him a few inches taller, so I went with 5'11. Just don’t tell anyone that his in-game model is still only 5'8, shhhh.
8.What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?
…I really can’t think of anything.
9.Are they based off of you, in some way?
I was actually trying to make him as little like me as possible while still being someone I could enjoy playing. He still ended up with some of my loneliness and insecurity as well as my love of songs with devastatingly sad lyrics and desire to make my prose a bit too flowery.
10.If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?
He doesn’t currently have an LI. As for The Big One that I always bring up; as I went through the MSQ I noticed one of the NPCs was sort of his “type.” So I borrowed some elements of that NPC to make an OC (the old flame I‘ve mentioned before…) Then that OC ended up having nothing in common with the original NPC save a couple of physical features. He’s had two others than I’ve bothered to flesh out, one I made a little too compatible (a hedonistic Keeper girl who got bored with him because they were so similar) and one was not compatible at all (a Seeker merchant who was too old and grounded for him.) I’d actually like to see him end up with a LI that was played by someone else, but romance is usually low on my RP priority list, and I like it to develop organically if it does happen.
11. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?
I had a feeling he wasn’t straight…
12. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?
Keeping his narrative voice consistent, and writing about the kinds of things that he would prioritize in personal narratives. I know its unrealistic for him to be as eloquent and well-spoken as he is, being raised by a woman from a nomadic tribal culture and not having access to many books, but I can’t help it. I also know he should be a lot less shy when it comes to matters of sex and love, but I’m just terrible at writing about those.
13.How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?
Not… at… all? I’m not even sure how Fal would have reacted to the whole arc of HW, and now SB. He’s not a WoL, so I imagine he’s absent from the frontlines of world events.
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
1. He might despair at first, but he always finds his way to the silver lining. 2. He’s not afraid of anything or anyone when it comes to social situations.
Skipping 15, 16 and 17 because thx u aki!
18. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?
He lived with the refugees in Little Ala Mhigo for a time after his mother’s tribe cast him out on the outskirts of Wellwick Wood (!!!)
19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?
The whole reason his backstory developed the way it did is because of a dream I had the night I started the game. I saw Fal standing in one of the roads in the shroud, readying his bow and backed by a swarm of glowing red bees that seemed to be under his command. So, I gave him a cute little bee spirit friend with the intention of it being totally useless and inconsequential. Then I switched from BRD to SMN and started absorbing more in-game lore, and thought “what if the bee were like an -egi, only not an egi but some kind of spirit that fused its energy with his?” and now I have all these ideas in my head that I haven’t written down and that only make sense to me.

RP Connections Wanted
I want to first thank everyone for reaching out to me when I sent out my last post a little over a week ago! Val’s got some pretty great connections now, and it’s been a blast RPing with all of you!
That being said, I still have a lot of other characters that need friends and people to hang with, plots to be involved with, and general things to do! Some of them will get along with many, while others are far more picky about who they hang out with. In light of seeing a few other people doing this with the maintenance going on, I figured I’d jump on the bandwagon and steal (borrow with permission) the format from a friend and do the same!
If any of the characters interest you at all, I’d love for you to contact me either on tumblr or via Discord, which you can do so at Val#7710. Thanks!
Val Covington | TUMBLR | WIKI | Seeker | 27 | CN
Val comes from a very tribal, very reclusive sect of the Wolf tribe. Since there isn’t a representation of them in game, I more or less designed this tribe to be very much like their namesake. Something eventually caused him to leave the tribe and strike out into the world on his own, void of any sort of knowledge other than what the Shroud taught him. He soon put his natural skills to work and became a mercenary for hire. Frequently known for being loud, obnoxious, cocky, and short-fused with no filter to back any of it up. Has no general issues with anyone unless they mess with him first. Hates white knights, pompous nobles, and schemers. Also, he’s an asshole. A real big one.
Hooks:
Val was briefly in Limsa where he learned to perfect his skills with daggers. Someone could know him from there, have helped taught him, or thieved around with him a bit.
Val was in Gridania for a time after he left the Shroud, and frequently hit on noble women (and slept with them), resulting in him being ran out after a time. People from Gridania/the area might know him, know of him, or be one of those he was with (or the husband thereof!)
Mercenary contacts that are looking for work/partners.
Val loves to fight. Anyone looking to spar/get drunk/cause mischief at the expense of others.
Melfice Vainchelon | TUMBLR | WIKI | Midlander | 32 | NE
Midlander with a fatal past. While they are a dime a dozen these days, Melfice’s life went from mundane to tragic in the span of a few months. It forced him down a reckless path of anger and revenge, and ultimately culminated in a particularly life-changing event. He has since dropped his search for revenge and, instead, is on the road to redemption.. sort of. He struggles to see the good in people and does not often think that helping others is worth it. He sees most, if not all, people to be beneath him and not worth his time or effort. He far and beyond believes in survival of the fittest, and often befriends others with a particular desire in mind. He does not make friends, at least not with the goal of keeping them in mind. Spent a lot of his time studying aether.
Hooks:
Melfice is always looking for ancient knowledge, and is open to converse with anyone willing to share it.
He enjoys trips into dark tombs, ancient libraries, and so on. Anything that could help him figure out a way to cure the curse on his beloved, or bring him one step closer.
His family used to run a clinic in Ul’dah that would help the sick and the poor free of charge. It was eventually destroyed, but its memory may remain to some.
Anyone that is willing (and patient) enough to convince a man to let the past be the past and move on, spending his natural talents to help others. Conversely, anyone that is willing (and patient) enough to convince the man that he should not give up his past ways and strive to get what he wants by any means necessary.
Vallois Villeneuve | Wildwood | ??? | N
An entirely passive, entirely blank slate. He has trouble figuring out how the world works and keeps any emotions he has hidden. Has no recollection of what/who he used to be. While not abnormally or uniquely strong, he works as a mercenary for those that may need it. Completely reckless when it comes to combat, often trading his own safety to ensure his enemy falls by any means necessary. Known for coming back from things that would have otherwise killed someone. Drinks hard alcohol because he enjoys the burn.
Hooks:
Anyone that is particularly sensitive to aether would be able to discern an intense anomaly coming from him.
Mercenary friends! Or acquaintances, in this case.
Could have been with/seen him fight, witnessed him take what would have been a fatal blow, and days later be completely fine save for a small scar in its place.
Anyone patient enough to let him bumble around and try to make friends. He’s been tasked with/convinced to try to be more open with people and find himself, so he’s willing to talk to literally anyone.
Vincent “Vinnie” Laurentius | WIKI | Midlander | 24 | CN
Rags-to-riches Ul’dahn street rat that hates work but understands it’s the necessity of life. Operates as a professional for an organized crime syndicate that operates from the Gold Saucer. Perfectly okay with getting his hands dirty, but he might complain about it. Works as a facilitator and go-to man between the syndicate and potential clients. Discrete. Professional, high class, but sloppy.
Hooks:
Anyone looking to get their hands on anything otherwise considered illegal or hard to find. Drugs, weapons, exotic pets, etc.
Hates slavery and has a personal issue with abuse towards women. Anyone that has this past and/or needs work to stop something like it, Vinnie will have no problems helping.
Other classy/noble-type citizens of Ul’dah or frequent Gold Saucer attendees. While Vincent doesn’t fit in with the former at first glance, he knows how to play the part.
Others familiar with the city’s seedy underbelly, particularly those that consider themselves involved in “high class” crime.
People that can appreciate the finer things in life, be it a particular brand of scotch or one of the finer suits that someone can obtain.
Someone that knew him from his childhood days. He was in and out of orphanages and small-time gangs.
Cyrus Mulano | WIKI (Outdated) | Midlander | 21 | CG
Family was Ishgardian refugees that made their home in the Shroud. Mother and father were both fighters, and both trained Cyrus in the ways of the sword and shield. Left home at the age of 19 to make a name for himself. World seemed to be his, then tragedy struck time and time again that left him second guessing the confidence he once had. What was once a boy with all the promise in the world (and its people) soon became a young man hellbent on revenge for those that wronged him. Despite his otherwise grim appearance, he is still the same kind, loving soul he once was.
Hooks:
His mother and father lived in solitude in the Shroud, but they took frequent trips to Gridania in order to buy supplies and things that the forest otherwise would not naturally provide. He could have a long-time friend that he saw sporadically or family acquaintances.
Looking for someone willing to help him understand that, despite hardships in life, not all is lost. Someone to put him on the right path and (perhaps) give him a reason to look toward the light again.
One redemption path I’ve considered is making him a Samurai come Stormblood. Anyone that can help teach him the ways would be appreciated! Could also work with the above hook.
Anyone that can just keep him company/be his friend and keep things off his mind.
Mercenary work woo!
Something is definitely off about him. Those sensitive to aetherial changes would notice it coming from him. Some of his hair doesn’t appear to be colored; it seems to be a natural fade, although he still looks (and is) very young!
Struggles to hold back his deeper, darker desires. It’s a side of him that was always there, but after the “incident” it seems to be more prominent and have more sway over his actions. Someone that would be willing to help him cope with (or draw them out), depending on their desires, would be fun!

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT THE MUN.
Repost, not reblog! Tag 6 muns you would like to get to know better when done!
Mun Name: Peridot Swallow Nickname: Peri, Snuggleupigus, Sir Hugalot, Joy, Princess (my grandfather is responsible for that one.). Age: Not publicly available, sorry. 18+. If I feel know you, I might tell you. Faceclaim: I’m not sure I understand this concept enough to give one. Pronouns: She/her Height: 5′4′’ aprox Birthday: 10th August, I mean, it did just happen so. Aesthetic: Elegant vampires, cute doggies, cetic stuff, grimm fairytale, kittens, folklore, greek & norse mythology, anthropomorphic animals, cute animals in general, Lilo & Stich, Plushies, woodlands, May day, turtle necks, big thick coats, woolly jumpers with traditional knitting pretties in them, blues & greens, bubble tea, banana jokes, unfinished sketches, Discworld books, Don’t starve, Undertale, dragons. Last song you listened to: The Voice by Celtic Women, but nightcore.
Favourite muse(s) you’ve written: I’ve had so many over the years, oh goodness. If we keep it to just this blog it’d be a choice between Pupson, Red, Minty and Knight... Okay, I love Pupson to bits, but he’s not as fun as the other two. And Minty can be awkward to write, even if he is fun... So Red or Knight. I use both publicly and privately.
But they’re only my Current favourites. Before I got into Don’t Starve my favourite muse was Underfell Sans. Before Undertale? Uhhh. Grendal the exasperated lizard monster who was sooo done with Sonic’s shit. I think he was either a lawyer, an accountant or a diplomat in a post Robotnik world. He worked for a King Sonic and essentially baby sat him so he wouldn’t embarrass his wife, Queen Sally.
What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): Uhhhh... Well I was inspired to turn this into an rp blog by @a-dynamite-digger, which also gave me the idea for Beta Red (very different from actual Red btw).
The hound Wilson art on @maxwil-sojjeok‘s old blog gave me the inspiration for Pupson, and I borrowed a lot of Knight’s backstory for him.
Discworld obviously inspired current Red.
Rough was inspired by this short film.
Knight came much sooner, a couple of years actually. He was a private muse from before I had the courage to blog. These pieces of art (link 1, link 2) were the inspiration, but he’s come a long, long way. Apart from scars and owning two dark swords he’s pretty much unrecognisable.
What are your favourite aspects of your current muse: Red is so god damn fabulous and over the top, he’s a pleasure to write. But it’s sooooo good when I get explore his other facets.
Knight has a lot going on. It’s difficult to explain, but I love that he just doesn’t give a shit anymore. He just straight up doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t concern his little protectorate of friends and family.
Minty’s dissonent cuteness is it’s own reward, and he lets me kill other muses without remorse.
Rough is just adorable and precious.
Pupson is wonderful when the chemistry between muses works just so. I love him for his flexibilty and relationships.
What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: Discworld, Mythology, folklore, music.
Favourite types of threads: PupsonxMelanie threads. They’re just beautiful.
Red sass threads.
Minty’s killing threads.
Threads that let Knight be his sassy, no shit giving self. Just... If you can find an excuse for him to be sent after your muse, or any other opportunities for him to do this PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Triumphant threads. Seriously. If you have a triumphant blog THROW THEM AT ME. Boss Pupson or Knight around. Sass battle with Red. Be confused by Minty or Rough. PLEASE.
Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: Pupson is difficult to write in intimate situations. The lewder the harder it is, uness claws and teeth are involved.
Red overshares. He can’t keep his mouth shut. And he doesn’t do fluff well. He just doesn’t get that mellow.
Rough is too sweet. Too forgiving. I’m scared for them.
WX is unco-operative. Always.
Maxwell is same as above with the added difficulty that he can’t speak.
Knight can be difficult to put in the right situation. He thrives in battle, physical or otherwise. Super competitive. But outside that he’s hard to write.
Minty is hard when he isn’t suckering someone.
Tagged by Stolen from: @krupnick Tagging: @ask-the-cursed-birb, @lost-dead-ones, @the-wanderer-willow , Anyone else who wants to do it.

LP D&D: Grand Magistrate Smith
For this session, Max’s brother Torix was invited to audition for the vacant spot in the party. He plays Zerander, goliath purple dragon knight. His horse is named “Frank.” Torix is a bit of a power gamer, but he doesn’t fall into the trap of expecting everyone to have perfectly min-maxed characters or whatever or going off on us for performing sub-optimally in battle, so it hasn’t really caused any problems of that sort thus far. He’s also the token straight guy, with everyone else but us ostensibly being gay dudes. Aside from the one or two times where he said some pretty crass stuff about trans folk, he’s been pretty solid, though, and we haven’t had any incidents since I stated being open about being trans with the group.
He, Max and I are kind of my current non-tabletop gaming group, though usually he’s playing mount & blade in the background while Max and I play Dark Souls or something. I spent a long time without a decent group after my previous one got fed up with me for being a caustic asshole, but I guess the estrogen has mellowed me out enough that I can socialize with people without chiding them over stupid bullshit fucking constantly.
Also, Escrima’s surname is “Smith,” hence the title.
...Anyway, content under the break
The gang rests up at the estate
Constanza learns everything about Amn
Fear of magic
Kingdom-tier
All nobility is capable of owning land
!!!
Succession is deeds-oriented; not being a cool guy gets your title revoked
Coy attempts to train the displacer beasts
She teaches it to “heel”
Lucas continues to make copies of his spellbook
He realizes that he has become ambidextrous after absorbing Eva
Graham receives a letter from the brothel
Connie has that one dream again
She looks up at her parents
There’s fire everywhere
She’s the one “touched”
Her parents pick her up and run out of the fire
A voice: MOTHER KNOWS
Zerander arrives at the gates of Waterdeep, City of splendors
He’s here on a mission from the leader of his order of knights to assist Rockseeker
His token looks like a dark souls character //Specifically, like some hybrid of Hawkeye Gough and Horace the Hushed
He asks a lady where the market is
“Oh my, you’re quite big”
Huehuehue
As a giant, he attracts stares as he wanders towards the market
Zerander goes looking for an armorer
The shop attendant is predictably taken aback
Armor’s gonna cost extra for size
Zerander sells off his old chainmail to offset the cost
Measuring the giant is the armorer’s greatest trial
We’re gonna need a bigger tape!
Zerander asks the attendant about nearby inns
He is pointed towards the “flying badger”
Hey, the inn’s right next to the market!
The building smells of cooked meat
His stomach rumbles, deafening nearby guests
The innkeeper offers him some roasted phoenix, bleu cheese, and brandy
Innkeeper asks what brought him to town. Being a barmaid, she is fairly pretty, and probably hitting on him
Through mouthfuls of flaming poultry, he explains he’s a bodyguard for Rocky
Innkeeper points him towards the office
He asks about a room
It’s gonna cost extra because he’s gonna need extra beds
He attempts to hit on the innkeeper, but she’s not having it
As he enters the room, he bumps his head on the frame
He drops his gear in the chest in the corner and heads for houseseeker
He’s got his axe and shield still
Zerander searches for houseseeker //Rocky’s house. At some point, I started referring to everything Rocky owns as XXXseeker
He gets lost at first, but finds his way eventually
The 3-INT secretary takes his name down and tells him to wait for Rocky
“Can I make an insight check on the couch?”
The couch bears him no ill will
The building is busy as always
Janice floats down the stairs to bring him to Rocky
Zerander reflexively ducks as he enters the office
Rocky and Zerander attempt to shake hands, but the size differential makes it difficult
Rockseeker tells him about his mission
Also about the party
There’s a paladin
Rocky struggles with pronouns //Graham came out to the party in some semi-cannon RP we did after the session where we crashed Lord Heir’s banquet. Supposedly, he was stealth beforehand, but a couple of NPCs apparently knew what was up as soon as they laid eyes on him, which was weird as hell. I guess that’s what happens when a cis dude GMs trans characters, though
Also a wizard
A bureaucrat
A weirdo
Draggo
WELCOME TO ROCKSEEKER!
Rocky leads Zerander towards the estate
A carriage arrives to take the party to the trial
Graham reads the letter
It’s a news letter from Mister Mister
Hey, there’s a peep show
Ooh, coupons
Rent services for a whole year for 300 gp!!!!!!!!!!!
Graham thinks. Oh no!
He remembers Lucas talking about how Esmeralda is a bad influence
Greg considers going to the trial
Lucas convinces him to come along
Connie asks for something to help her sleep better
Apparently Liza and the spirit of fire are back in town with some cargo
Graham wants to check on his retainers before going to the trial
He has Lucas send to them about the death of Osric
They’re in town already
Escrima has been shouting “mother! Mother!” for the last hour
Jeeves gives him something to subdue him
The carriage is luxury 2.1
It says Rockseeker 2 on the side
The gang heads to dockseeker
Liza went to Baldur’s gate
There’s a pair of airships there
The spirit is wanted in Baldur’s Gate. How weird.
Lucas is worth 15kgp for some reason
Liza is pissed we didn’t tell her much of anything
She returned with a shipment of rubies!
Graham goes to talk with his uncle Cedric
He tells him about the banquet incident
And the bad news about Osric’s death
Cedric is worried about succession
Graham realizes that he hasn’t had contact with the family since
Cedric tells Graham that he should’ve attended the funeral and such
Graham encounters toxic masculinity. How fun!
Verona elected to stay on the island
Lucas tries to apologise to Liza, and she forgives him
Liza “saw things”
The duke of Baldur’s gate is into some shady shit
Gnolls everywhere, walking freely
Not even working as waiters or anything
Escrima comes out of his trance
Mother wants him to take the party to Calimport
A woman was shouting in some strange language
Jeeves tells him he’s been sleeping for like a week
“Are there any garments that I should don?”
Amazingly, Escrima assumes that the trial is more important that seeing Lupe
Escrima gets some nice clothes and a hearty meal before leaving for the courthouse
Escrima gets there before the others, and Merrow is confused
They’re late?
You’re a noble, right?
You can be a judge!
What could possibly go wrong?
You’ll judge him, you’ll convict, and we’ll get to watch an execution!
Escrima does some word association to prepare
The rest of the gang heads for the trial, but there’s heavy traffic
The trial marches on
Heir is accused of high treason
Escrima gasps
A copy of Hier’s letter is passed to the judges
Judges may ask questi-
Escrima starts mumbling nonsense about wolves and mouths and meatbags
That’s a very good point, your honor!
He should seek to be more than just a meatbag
Escrima wonders where Hier learned calligraphy
The judge puts forward that the letter was forged!
Mother tells him that the letter was not a forgery
Escrima tells the crowd that it was not a forgery, and Hier is a TRAITOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Rocky and Zerander head to the trial
Hey, they get to see a paladin judge a trial. How cool!
Graham’s gonna be a very interesting judge to watch!
Very cool and collected
They hear Escrima shouting
Rockseeker becomes worried
The defense wants to continue with the forgery line
They call out a sister of the night as a defense witness
It’s sister Mary Anne, who was out getting takeout during the battle, I guess
She says that he’s innocent
Mary Anne says that the plot was all the sisters, and Hier was a patsy
Mother says that Escrima should forgive Hier
Hier is declared innocent and released
The gang arrives at the courthouse
It’s quiet. Weird.
Escrima, Merrow, Rocky, and Zerander are the only people there
Graham wonders what happened to the trial
Everyone chews him out
Lucas tells Escrima off
Coy and Lucas try to leave, but Rocky stops them
Rocky introduces Zerander to the party
Lucas takes 3 damage from the handshake
Zerander inexplicably clocks Graham //😒
Lucas asks Rocky about Baldur’s Gate
Rocky knows the sisters are there and that Lucas is wanted there
He worries that Baldur’s Gate will join the sisters
Lucas makes idle threats to Rocky about Greg’s safety
Rocky introduces Connie
PVP occurs, and Zerander completely believes that she’s what they say she is
Rocky can’t find Coy
He introduces Zerander to High Magistrate Escrima
“Your faces... why do they look so long? Have I done something wrong?”
Pls ask us first next time, dear
Watchu Doin’, Coy?
Coy goes looking for Hier
She asks about where he went
She borrows a horse
Hier’s not in the main hall of the inn
The bartender points her upstairs
She thinks she’s stealthed
Coy steals a ring of room keys from a housekeeper
She searches the private rooms
An alchemist opens the first door
“You’re not what I ordered!”
He slams the door in her face
She tries to listen in through another room
But there’s no answer
She unlocks the door, and finds Zerander’s room
There’s a locked chest! Watchu doin’?
Unlocking the chest, apparently
Dude, there’s a dungeoneer’s pack!
Coy leaves the room and locks everything up
Next room!
“Housekeeping!”
A voice answers, but she doesn’t recognize it
It’s a halfling aristocrat guy
“Sorry, wrong room”
“...could it be the right room? I have money!”
There’s a lot of rooms in here
Behind the door, she hears Hier and someone else hyucking it up
Apparently, there was some kind of setup at the trial
Hier’s paying someone 3kgp
Meanwhile, the gang wonders where Coy went
Rocky suggests she might be doing something rash
Lucas asks about fast travelling to Neverwinter
There’s some portals around, but they’re fairly expensive
The gang considers travelling by air
Connie asks Merrow about appointing a stand-in for meetings
Apparently, people do it a lot. Just leave the masks with whomever
Rocky is optimistic about Escrima’s ruling. This is slightly disconcerting
He mentions Mother by name
Lucas glares at Escrima
Escrima hears Lucas staring at him
We’re in a manga now
Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~
Lucas warns Escrima about Mother
Escrima is “Confundled”
Rockseeker gives his condolences to Connie
Coy murders Lord Hier
She draws Suzie, and leaves stealth
She opens the door to the room with Hier and the Lawyer
BANG! The door swings open wildly
The force of the door causes it to bounce off the wall and swing back in her face
She teleports into the room
Coy tells the lawyer to fuck off if he doesn’t want to die
Battle with Lord Hier the Innocent of Waterdeep
Hier draws his own sword and strikes, clipping Coy’s tail
Coy teleports behind Hier
“Nuthin’ personnel, kid...”
Suzie cuts through his body
Blood soaks the room
Hier tries to flee, but Coy teleports in front of him
She quarters him in a flurry of swings
Blood goes everywhere
Lord Hier of Waterdeep is dead
The cleaning lady she stole the keys from sees this and screams
WATCHU DOIN’, COY THEY’RE COMING!
She jumps out a window
Hey Coy, did you know that you’ve just committed a serious crime and will probably be hanged?
Coy jumps around the outside of the tavern
She fumbles a jump in front of the tavern, and lands on her face
Coy runs to the stable. The party is loitering there
Coy demands that Connie disguise her
She cleans the blood off, but that’s the best she could do
Lucas casts invisibility on Coy, who doesn’t stop talking
The gang heads off to the estate
Greg is discussing matters with some nobles
Hey Lucas, how’d the trial go?
Escrima failed us
Greg reminds Lucas that Escrima saved his life several times
Lords Valria and Haliam introduce themselves
They’re talking about organizing a campaign through the southeast
It’s gonna be a month or two before they can start
Greg wants to stay in Waterdeep to oversee the march on Beydale
Coy gives Connie the dagger of breakfast watching //Another magic item. When someone holds it, they see a brief vision of the future. the first couple of times the party used it, the vision included breakfast, hence the name.
She holds it by the blade
There’s a dank corridor
The casters are fighting
Graham charges at a monster
There’s some eggs benedict in the corner
The architecture is distinctly dwarven
Connie grabs the knife
She sees a city surrounded by steam
There’s a hangar being built
Lucas is there, but older
Graham is there, but different
Ooh, an omelette
Gee, that was weird.
A note from Rocky arrives, saying that Hier was murdered, and if they need horses to go looking for him.
No leads on the suspect, somehow
How convenient!
Zerander picks up his armor
Lucas copies spells, and Greg keeps him company
Connie visits the tower of magi
On the way there, the carriage stops in an alley
There’s a person there. She identifies herself as being sister Lake //The cult Connie allegedly belongs to is supposed to basically be the church of scientology. Sister Lake is her auditor.
Lake wants her to return to the monastery
Connie assures her that she’ll be back soon, and will definitely pay her dues
Connie hires a mage with sending to help with the sessions she’ll miss
Connie gives greg the mask, and instructs him to have Mario the sending mage contact her with information
“Aren’t there like, vampires around here or something?”
Lucas messages Rocky about the vampire problem
There’s a letter from Viper
...but Jake had moving stuff to do, so we’ll never know what it said
Escrima talks about how he trained Lupe during the week
She knows to attack gnolls now, which is cool
They could probably ride her now
Let’s go to Casa de Lupe
Zerander hears some screeches from the hangar
Frank freaks out, but Zerander calms him down
Connie tells Escrima to open the bay doors
Zerander sees the wyvern, and pulls out his longsword
“What is that?!?!?!?!”
“We caught her”
Lupe cautiously approaches Zerander
Zerander offers to “fix” Lupe
Oh! You know how to spay a wyvern?
River crossing puzzle! //Idk if it’s come up yet, but being a large party, we tend to have trouble figuring out how to transport people effectively using the items we have. obviously we could just use horses, but this is dungeons and fucking dragons! If we can fly, we’re going to god damn fly!
Lucas on broom //Magic item. It’s a flying broom. Its carry weight is pretty low, so only the lighter characters can really make use of it, but it’s amazing anyway.
Escrima on Lupe
Connie on Broom
Zerander on Lupe
Coy on the fly
Graham on the fly
Lupe launches out of the hangar, and the party takes to the skies with her
