Anidala courtly love: The Queen of the galaxy and her dark knight

When people ask how Padme fell for Anakin I believe they forget both of them were quite lonely people before meeting as adults, gifted kids selected from childhood, Padme for her political skill, Anakin for his strenght in the force to help their community and the galaxy, without much of a life of their own. Still both of them were raised to become bigger people than themselves, to sacrifice for their community to bring justice to the galaxy.

They were grateful for their opportunities but they also felt empty, Anakin missed his mother and feared for her life while Padme longed to have a family of her own but her work took most of her time and she knew she was needed.

They meet as many fairytales begin, with Padme as a child Queen trying to rescue her castle from evil while child/slave Anakin longed to become her knight in shinning armor to help her and her people despite the dangers to himself.

Together they stopped the plans of the dark sorcerer who planned to take over the kingdom, Palpatine, not knowing he would take revenge on them at the right time.

Padme already loved Anakin as a friend before they meet again as adults and she started to notice him not just as a friend but also as a man who was gifted as her but also lonely and longing for love, Anakin risked his life to save her planet without asking anything, he did it because they were friends, he could not lie to her to save his life, he doesn´t like it when people lie to him either and his personality makes this harsh for him, he is too transparent, he has the honesty of the soldier/of the warrior not the guiles of the politicians, he told her he could not live without her and he was honest, for a policitician used to listen to skilled liars trying to woo her 24/7, this can be quite attractive and then they shared a force bond.

They were modeled after the old courtly love where the lady is like a Queen to her knight , the lady becomes their inspiration for the hero to keep fighting the good fight.

Palpatine twisted that, he used their love agaisnt each other, Padme and Anakin started to lie to each other and doubt about their loyalties, the war took a toll on Anakin and his wounds from slavery and his mother´s death never were addresed, Padme could see this fear growing in Anakin but had her own duties trying to start a movement to stop her old mentor from becoming Emperor, she thoguht she was going to have more time. This conflict between them was born from Palpatine´s machinations and their weakness for each other was the cherry on top for their fall but their love was real from the beggining.

Both of them end up dying, that was Palpatine´s revenge, he killed Anakin spiritually, slaving him to his throne to use his power while Padme died from the sadness of her lover´s betrayal and the fall of the republic but in the center of their fall lied Palpatine´s own downfal as their children grew up to take down his kingdom and free their father.

Star wars is a fairytale that touches realistic and scific narratives and it´s great to see those old themes being brought again to tell stories.

I need a Star Wars fic where young Anakin is trained by the dark side and still becomes Vader, but is a rebel spy, and that's how he meets Obi-Wan and Padme. He could have saved his mom and, like, hidden her away years ago, but made it look like she's dead so people don't try to use her against him.

And he still dresses up in the Vader suit, but it's just for show.

Maybe Obi-Wan and Padme are meeting up with out of suit Anakin cause they just think he's a spy. And they get trailed by jedi traitors, and Anakin pops out the lightsaber and saves the day. But the 2 get hurt? And so he drops them with mama Skywalker to heal and like, goes off to hunt down and kill the traitors.

Obi-Wan is so confused cause he woke up in this lady's house being served by droids? And him and Padme come out to the breakfast table one day and there's mama Skywalker, Satine(who anakin saved a way back and they've since become palls), and anakin back from his mission with R2D2 and C3PO bopping around.

Maybe he gives them the intel the rogue Jedi had and then is like, 'please, stay and rest, I have a country to run (maybe he killed Jabba and terraformed Tatooine in secret and takes care of everything now) before I am due back from this other mission for Palpatine. Oh, mom, Master Yoda will be stopping by for dinner. '

Maybe Padme and Obi-Wan are out and about and come across a healed Qui-gon Jin, just chilling on the beach. Anakin found him and got him medical help, and he's been living here training the force sensitive kids Anakin finds and saves from the sith, but are too old to be trained by the Jedi.

Maybe Anakin finally offs Palpatine and fakes Vaders death when the Empire falls.

And Obi-Wan is just stressing out cause what do you mean lord Vader is on our side Yoda, how could you not tell me? And then they go back to the temple, and like, I just need a grumpy Obi-Wan and a chilled out Yoda discussing this. Maybe it comes out in the council and Yoda is like, 'yes I was the one Qui-gon reached out to after he recovered, and Anakin was too old to be trained by us when the Sith found him. I did this for the better of the galaxy.' Maybe through in some pissed of Mace Windu in there.

Maybe the Jedi makes some reforms after that, does some introspection and gets their shit together.

Oh, Jedi Amidala! Well, I'm entering unkown territories here...

I imagine she didn't expected, and less AniVader. As both know, he got burnt in great parts of his body, in my vision, even in SW universe it would be difficult to still be fertile (as in real life male burnt survivors bodies are deeply affected in many aspects). So they were at it at any chance they could, thinking prob it wouldn't happen. They share time together stuck on the moon, so they got to know the other side of their characters.

AniVader's D is fine 🥴 despite some scars. But since he's the chosen one the force finds his way and Jedi Amidala helps his motivation, Luke and Leia are knocking on their door lol

At this point they were separated before Padmé finds out she's preg. The Emperor imprisons Vader after sensing his attachment to Amidala grew stronger. Amidala feels heartbroken, dissappointed on herself for falling for AniVader, thinking he abandoned her. Still, despite her sadness and fear, she feels a sort of happiness too, sensing her children, since she has the force in this AU she knows there are twins and already loves them 🩷 so she leaves everything behind to start a new life with her children.

AniVader also feels heartbroken thinking she left him, he still feels her presence and can't accept she just disappeared and goes on his own secret search for her and when he does find her, he gets a huge surprise.
