Hey fic rec time! I didn't do these often so you KNOW it's good
If you like Star Wars and Mandos and falling in love with character dynamics you'll never be able to find again because OP just smooshed together things that never existed before
May I introduce you to:
Mando'jekai jedi by Anonymous
Yes Anonymous come out here OP so I can put you in a little jar and provide you optimal writing enrichment and maybe shake you a little to see how you work
Author Summary:
Feemor saves a random Mandalorian and earns himself the position of Jedi watchman for the sector. Now if only the mandos would stop hunting him so that he can investigate this terrorist cell in peace.
Jaster really wants to talk to the jedi who slapped the darksaber into his hands before running off. Now if only the haat'ade could track him down.
My Summary:
Feemor Gives Mandalorians a Life-Changing Field Trip (No They Cannot Exit This Ride): The Fic
The writing is so smooth the humor is HIGH-LARIOUS the angst is wrapped up in the humor which is wrapped up in outsider POV
It's like you went to Fic Restaurant and the waiter slapped the menu out of your hand and said "I've got the good shit" and you were too terrified to protest that actually you were just here for a little hurt/comfort fix-it fic but when they came back
Oh damn
Oh that is the good shit
Anyway click this it's the good shit

I need a Star Wars fic where young Anakin is trained by the dark side and still becomes Vader, but is a rebel spy, and that's how he meets Obi-Wan and Padme. He could have saved his mom and, like, hidden her away years ago, but made it look like she's dead so people don't try to use her against him.
And he still dresses up in the Vader suit, but it's just for show.
Maybe Obi-Wan and Padme are meeting up with out of suit Anakin cause they just think he's a spy. And they get trailed by jedi traitors, and Anakin pops out the lightsaber and saves the day. But the 2 get hurt? And so he drops them with mama Skywalker to heal and like, goes off to hunt down and kill the traitors.
Obi-Wan is so confused cause he woke up in this lady's house being served by droids? And him and Padme come out to the breakfast table one day and there's mama Skywalker, Satine(who anakin saved a way back and they've since become palls), and anakin back from his mission with R2D2 and C3PO bopping around.
Maybe he gives them the intel the rogue Jedi had and then is like, 'please, stay and rest, I have a country to run (maybe he killed Jabba and terraformed Tatooine in secret and takes care of everything now) before I am due back from this other mission for Palpatine. Oh, mom, Master Yoda will be stopping by for dinner. '
Maybe Padme and Obi-Wan are out and about and come across a healed Qui-gon Jin, just chilling on the beach. Anakin found him and got him medical help, and he's been living here training the force sensitive kids Anakin finds and saves from the sith, but are too old to be trained by the Jedi.
Maybe Anakin finally offs Palpatine and fakes Vaders death when the Empire falls.
And Obi-Wan is just stressing out cause what do you mean lord Vader is on our side Yoda, how could you not tell me? And then they go back to the temple, and like, I just need a grumpy Obi-Wan and a chilled out Yoda discussing this. Maybe it comes out in the council and Yoda is like, 'yes I was the one Qui-gon reached out to after he recovered, and Anakin was too old to be trained by us when the Sith found him. I did this for the better of the galaxy.' Maybe through in some pissed of Mace Windu in there.
Maybe the Jedi makes some reforms after that, does some introspection and gets their shit together.

What makes the legend of the last hero stand out among the more prominent messianic figures in the story is its ‘every man’ sort of feel. The Prince That Was Promised can only ever be royal - since the existing requirement is to be born of Aerys and Rhaella’s line, who ruled as king and queen. Azor Ahai is interpreted in story as being related to a king. Yet the last hero was just some guy. His tale has been passed down across millennia, but he himself remains anonymous. We don’t know what family or region he came from. He may have been low born or high born, it doesn’t really matter. And what’s most interesting is how GRRM chooses to parallel his story in the published material. Waymar Royce, Bloodraven, Coldhands, Sam Tarly, Bran Stark, and Jon Snow all serve as narrative mirrors for the last hero. But there’s are quite a few differences. Waymar Royce is a highborn lord, but Jon and Bloodraven are bastards. Jon Snow is the typical fantasy warrior, yet Sam and Bran are GRRM’s deconstructions of what it looks like when a boy who doesn’t fit the chivalric ideal of knighthood gets to be the hero. Jon and Bran are also especially noteworthy because they are at the heart of one GRRM’s core thesis statements:
“I have a tender spot in my heart for cripples and bastards and broken things.”
So as a propaganda piece, I'd imagine that repeating this tale goes a long way. Imagine you're some unassuming kid from Flea Bottom. You'll never be the promised prince because you're not related to the king. It's a bit hard to be Azor Ahai because where in seven hells will you get dragon eggs, and how will you attain the magic required to bring them to life? But then you COULD be the last hero. Regardless of who your parents are and what type of blood you've got, you too can gather all your friends and go on a hero's journey. And isn't that what children's dreams are made of?

what about some sort of buddy cop, same age, enemies to lovers au where obi-wan is a jedi and anakin is a coruscanti detective and they literally hate each other and have no respect for the other (obi-wan thinks anakin is a waste of the coruscant budget and a jedi wannabe; anakin thinks obi-wan is a pretentious space monk asshole)
(anakin has personally arrested obi-wan for speeding three times, drinking in public spaces 4 times -- the public space was a bar btw -- and indecent public exposure once. that last one was, tbh, fair cause obi-wan had his dick out in an alley way lol)
(obi-wan has literally stalked this asshole coruscanti cop off planet before and arrested him in his capacity as Jedi Knight for not using his turn signal when changing hyperspace lanes (once), for podracing betting (3 times), and for possession of a galacticly banned substance (twice))
it's not that they're obsessed with each other, it's just that something keeps forcing them together in the wildest, most unpredictable situations, and it's annoying as hell because they're completely fed up with each other
then the senate moves to have a new task force stood up to solve a series of Force-related crimes in the Coruscanti underworld. the task force would include a representative from the Jedi Temple and one from the Coruscanti guards, obviously. and really, obi-wan and anakin are the perfect choices! they're both highly intelligent, dedicated, trustworthy, and incorruptible.
if only they'd stop trying to push each other off the 51st story of coruscant and actually put their heads together to solve the crime

Knight Feemor and Padawan Kenobi in the shadow court
AU where qui-gon gives up on/is banned from training Obi-wan after melida-daan and Feemor becomes Obi-wans master.
[picture ID: it's a digital drawing of jedi knight feemor stahl, aged 37, a long haired blonde near-human with tan skin and forest green robes, sitting on the floor with his legs tucked in under him. He is levitating a bright yellow kyber crystal between his hands as a disassembled white-gold lightsaber is floating to his right. padawan obi-wan kenobi, aged 13, a ginger child with grown out hair and a padawan braid wearing white tunics is napping next to him on the floor using a sage green cloak as a blanket and knight stahl's knees as a pillow with his hands tucked under his cheeks. the wall behind them is tiled with diamond shaped star patterned tiles and to their right a large white blue and gold porcelain planter is holding a small gnarly tree with droopy green leaves. above them three identical complex lancet windows which let white gold sunlight into the room. the drawing is done largely in turquoise and yellow tones and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene. end ID]

“I love the idea that the Jedi are the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy,” [Marc] Guggenheim told Polygon via email, “but there are surprisingly few examples of that out there — mainly because the Jedi get sucked into the Clone Wars. I’m as much of a fan of the Clone Wars as the next guy, but I really craved seeing the Jedi doing their thing on a non-war footing. That’s the great appeal of this new Jedi Knights series: We really get a chance to see what the Jedi did before the Clone Wars and their eventual fall.” Star Wars: Jedi Knights | March 5th, 2025

It's finally time for the Jones Boys to be knighted. How exciting!
Tumblr media
Good job, Mechi! What a nice ceremony that was!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So good, in fact, that Mechi is now "athletic"! I'm not sure how that comes from a knighthood ceremony—and I had very little idea of how to convey it in a drawing—but, uh... congrats, I suppose?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next up is Kwahu! Yay!
Tumblr media
Kwahu did not get a new trait, but that's alright. I already imagine that "his movements are smooth and graceful" without needing the athletic trait.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Mechi doesn't need to be Kwahu's heir; he's already a knight. We're going to call The Empire and politely ask if Ivy can be Kwahu's heir instead, even if it might annoy Mechi a bit. He'll get over it.

[Obi-wan chilling with the 212th in a scape-pod after blowing up a whole Republic fleet]
Force ghost Qui-gon: Obi-wan...
Obi-wan: Oh no, "Obi-wan" in B flat.
Obi-wan: You're disappointed.
