consindering the game wasn’t that interesting, carlos agreed to do something with Lucy. he wasn’t the biggest baker, but he wasn’t gonna turn down some bonding time with her. He headed into the kitchen, putting his empty glass into the dishwasher. “chocolate chip works,” he said as he turned around. “ready to boss me around? what’s first?”

Lucy didn't mind football, in fact, she used to be a huge college football fan and always watched Tennessee play. She didn't feel like watching the Super Bowl though and so far the commercials hadn't been doing anything for her. Once she and Carlos decided they were going to bake she headed to the kitchen to start pulling out the things they'd need. "I think chocolate chip would be the best to make. They're usually everyone's favorites." she told him once he joined her in the kitchen.

text: -slightly delayed- she woke up, but got her back to sleep fast.

text: yeah. especially when i mentioned that ocean was worried about her. she could have told me and we could have set something up. i don’t know how long she was here, she said she’s been bouncing around the past few weeks.

[Text] If she doesn't have somewhere legitimate to go then maybe the kids should stay here. She can stay here.

text: i brought that up. she hasn’t responded yet.

text: kinda annoyed with her. she wouldn’t come here but stayed 3 hours away. coy

text: i don’t know. she said she’s been hopping around or something? she wasn’t sure if she was going to back to la yet.
