I think it's quite unfair that the live action Voltron movie won't be featuring the original characters, because WEP doesn't want to be associated with VLD, really meaning the Fandom. The klance Fandom, which is still disorderly to this day. I can't understand how that's the actual reason for this change, and it's just not a creative decision made by the new director. What sense does it make to get rid of popular characters, characters people grew up with, iconic characters all because of a Fandom? It doesn't make sense to me, and I'm not sure how well it's going to turn out. Like, I'm still curious to see this new film but I'm not intrigued.

And, truly in my unfortunate opinion. VLD is genuinely not that terrible as certain fans, or critics make it out to be. It doesn't dessrve to be tossed away like trash and forgotten leaving Klance the only thing remaining of it. Total tragedy.

Like seriously GROW UP ALREADY, and for the love of God, GO ON with your life. If people don't like the canon/fanon ships or the characters you like, just ignore them or block them and enjoy the things you like instead of harassing or sending death threats to other people. If you do that and the other doesn't, you're only proving who's the real morally superior person here. (Hint: if you're the one harassing them, you're not the morally superior person)
