hello ! wanted to say i really love your writing style and your stories for the characters ! I wanted to know if you’d write one for Love and deep space Sylus? A scenario where you’re both sleeping but you sneak away quietly to get something from the kitchen or for whatever reason but he stops you with his powers (the handcuffs etc) to bring you back to bed. Sylus was fast asleep beside you.

The man was a light sleeper for the sake of his own safety. According to him, even if the building was as secure as it could be, there were some instances where he woke up with a knife to his throat. However, ever since you began sharing the same bed, he had been sleeping like a log, which was good for him and the twins because they no longer had to deal with his hot head so early in the evening.

But it was bad for you. Simply because Sylus likes to hold you in his sleep. Sometimes his hand would be over your chest, groping your breast or squeezing in between your boobs, but most times, he would be holding your wrist, checking your pulse. How was this bad for you? Well, living alone for most of your adult life, you liked to indulge yourself in a midnight snack or two. With him holding you captive to the bed, his iron grip holding on to you, it was like you had a ball and chain around your body.

You've indulged Sylus for over a week now, but the intense midnight craving is overwhelming.

Tonight, it's food over Sylus. The man can wait. Food cannot.

You scooted his hand very, very, very gently away from your body. This man's hand is heavy and large. Sylus didn't move and continued to sleep peacefully, his exposed chest rising and falling calmly. The room was very cold, and you could even hear the blowing of the AC; it was at that moment that you realized how such small sounds seemed to be so loud at night.

With every step you take, you are holding your breath even more. Even against the carpet, the rustling of your feet seemed like it could stir Sylus awake at any second. Thankfully, you managed to traverse across the room like a spy. You even had to carefully close the door shut.

You used the stairs to get down to the kitchen, and while you were walking in the hallway, the chef was just about to leave, his satchel bag on his shoulder.

He and you made eye contact. You gestured to him to 'shush,' and he laughed.

"There's some leftover dessert and pasta in the fridge—feel free to eat it," he whispered, and you grinned, giving him a thumbs up. Greg is the best chef ever. You tiptoed to the kitchen, waving him goodbye. Your eyes landed on that double-door fridge that was whirring loudly.

Finally! You could taste that delicious panna cotta and aglio olio in your mouth. Your hands wrapped around the handle of the fridge, and as you tugged, the bright blue light of the fridge lit up your face.

You took the plate and settled it on the stainless steel counter. The next one was the small glass filled with chocolate and cream. You marveled at its delicate, savory look. You took a spoon from the nearby utensil holder and dug it into the soft texture, eager to get a taste.

Before it could land between your lips—

A cold whirlwind of black, scentless smoke wrapped around the fork. It flung out of your grasp, and before you could let out a peep, you, too, were flung away from the kitchen counter.

The man let out a grunt, his eyes low-lidded and foggy, clearly just woken up from his slumber.

"Pray tell," he gruffed, his voice an octave lower. "What are you doing in the kitchen? You're supposed to be in bed." Sylus let out a sigh while he brought you closer to him. He glanced behind you and saw the unopened plate of pasta and panna cotta.

"Never mind. You don't need to speak."

"I'm hungry! Don't you know you shouldn't get between a woman and her food?" you exclaimed while tugging at the thing around your exposed waist. You thrashed and thrashed, the straps of your nightshirt sliding down your shoulders. "Put me down and go back to bed! I'll be with you in five—no, fifteen minutes!"

His head was aching from all the noise you were making, and combined with the fact that you were out of bed by the time he woke up—to Sylus, it seemed like you were testing his patience. "Did you not eat enough during dinner time? You know you could've asked for second servings."

"I get midnight cravings on occasion, but when I'm sleeping over, you tend to weigh me down in bed," you explained, flailing your legs, which were a few feet off the ground.

"So, you're blaming me now?" Sylus raised an eyebrow.

You shrugged. Of course, you were. It wasn't your fault you couldn't get out of bed, and it wasn't your fault that the chef made great food and desserts. He didn't like the look on your face but, regardless, put you down to the floor, his hand tugging your strap over your shoulders. His red eyes glazed over your bare chest, but he turned away, walking to that lonely plate of pasta.

"We're going back to sleep after you have your fill." Sylus unwrapped the plate and took a fork, twirling it and taking a bite. The oily, mild tinge of spiciness and Parmesan helped push him awake. He won't deny that the chef was good at his job—it was even enough for you to sneak out of his bed.

You mounted yourself onto the kitchen island, the cold marble surface cooling the bottom of your thigh. You took the panna cotta, and finally, the creamy and sweet flavor of chocolate and cream exploded in your mouth. Unconsciously, you nodded in approval of the taste.

Quietly, you ate in each other's company, occasionally making small talk. Sylus left the dish in the sink along with the fork, but when he turned to you, your nose was inside the refrigerator again. "Cake roll slice…" you uttered. The strawberry cake roll looked delicious inside the glass container.

Before you could even reach out to it, the smoke appeared at the very same spot, dragging you away from the fridge. Sylus closed the double-door refrigerator and crossed his arms right in front of you. A clear 'no' was plastered all over his face.

You let out a groan as he dragged you away with the smoky black and red rope around your waist.

When you got back to the bedroom, you expected Sylus to go right back to sleep. But instead, the man pulled a handcuff from underneath his pillow. How and why it was, there was a question you didn't want to ask him. Without another word coming out of his mouth, he chained it to himself and took hold of your wrist.

"No. You're not going to—"

He latched the real handcuff around your wrists and laid down on the bed, dragging you with him.

"Sleep."

The lights dimmed and flickered off at his word, and you just lay there, staring up at the canopy.

"I guess this is our bedtime routine now," you sighed.

"Sleep," he reiterated.

You seriously have no idea how you put up with this man.

Author footnotes: I also like to sneak out to the kitchen and eat but instead of sylus, It's my mom who sees me and then i get the clothes hanger beat up for staying up late at night lol.

energetic!leo who’s a feisty little dachshund puppy, and not one to shy away from the glitz’y and glamor’y of his father’s worldwide job

energetic!leo who’s also secretly a puppy cupid-in-training, having been trained since birth’y to eventually find a true love’y match for his one and only owner

energetic cupid!leo who loves prancing around the paddock’y, but he hates’y the very tight leash held by his father’y or someone else from his team

energetic cupid!leo who eventually plasters a grumpy frown’y on his face; his dad thinks he’s a bit too much to handle at the paddock’y (he’s really not), but too young to leave’y at home. 

unfortunately, this means that his father eventually leaves him under the supervision of a young’y ferrari intern at the motorhome.

energetic cupid!leo who (with some advice from roscoe’y), quickly figures out the best hiding spots (of course in the ferrari motorhome’y) and asks for the help of the other pets’y to sneak himself out of supervision. 

energetic cupid!leo who eventually wanders off to the ferrari cafeteria, led by the delicious’y aroma, hopefully finding’y some snacks (made just’y for him!)

energetic cupid!leo who wanders’y towards the table with the tall dishes stacked high on the counter top’y and tries to jumping’y onto one of the stools in order to reach the food…

however, when he’s falling backwards’y, he thinks that his jumping is a tad bit too energetic, and is now rocketing’y himself straight into the path of a poor ferrari chef.

that poor ferrari chef is you…

the imola gp is your first official time at the motorhome, often preparing dishes off site before sending them off to the track.

you definitely did not expect to see a bright golden ball hurtling straight towards your legs within the first hour of your job, and you yelp in surprise, unfortunately tossing up the plates of macrons in your hands to avoid the young dog.

your yelp of surprise doesn’t help leo either, who yips loudly, before running between your legs again.

clumsy cupid!leo who is a bit sorry that he’s accidentally knocked’y over such a pretty girl, but is still quickly distracted’y by the brightly coloured circles’y on the ground.

clumsy cupid!leo who quickly spots’y his father rushing in the direction of the pretty girl’y and tries to hide in behind your body.

clumsy cupid!leo who sees’y his father apologise a lot to you (he almost looks’y likes he’s going to beg on his knees) and decides there and then that you need to be with his father. 

why?

already from one small little nibble’y, he can tell that you makes’y the best treats and even hid him from his sometimes mean’y father.

was it brash’y, bold and maybe even a bit stupid’y on his part? yes. 

did he care? no.

it’s literally his job. 

menace cupid!leo who goes back’y to his little dog house (it’s literally a house and as lavish as you would think it is), and starts scheming a plan’y to get you and his dad together.

menace cupid!leo who decides that the best course of action would be to steal his father’s belongings and then hide them in the kitchen, so he has to go and see you.

it’s the perfect plan!

menace cupid!leo who slowly begins taking things’y from his dad: his necklaces, his rings, his keys, his caps, his shoes, his underwear…

menace cupid!leo who hides them around’y the ferrari motorhome kitchen. it’’s in the cupboards, the cabinets under the sink’y, in the utensil holders, in the freezer…

menace cupid!leo who after each little “adventure” happily finds his way back to his father’s driver room, eagerly awaiting his father’s innocent greeting.

who after a few races, is still yet to suspect a thing.

you, on the other hand, are now the victim of a resident hoarder. It’s not too obvious whose work it is, but you definitely have a few options in mind. granted they could be your co-workers and placing underwear is a bit of an odd choice, but you don’t question it. 

that is until at silverstone, you find a hairy little ball in the bin, one ear flopped protectively over its head.

sighing, you reach into the bin and pull out a slightly remorseful cupid!leo who does look happier to see you. he yips a few times, as you haphazardly brush the dust from his fur (thankfully it was still early in the morning, and the lack of rubbish definitely helped).

remorseful cupid!leo who anxiously watches you walk’y with him cradled in your arms towards his father’s motorhome’y. he’s not ready to see the disgruntled yet embarrassed look’y on his face…

remorseful cupid!leo who watches you harshly knock’y on his father’s driver room door, banging on it again when he doesn’t answer it after a half a minute. 

you lean the two of you against the door, and he can hear a faint singing from inside the room; his father must be listening to music, which is why he can’t hear you

remorseful cupid!leo who after you knock’y again loudly on the door, starts barking aggressively, whining, howling, and likes, just to get his father’s attention’y. 

you wince at the loud sounds, almost tempted to drop leo just to cover your ears, but you just hold him towards the door as you step away

remorseful cupid!leo who finally hears the sound’y of his father heading towards the door, but you’re still facing;y away, eyes shut from the piercing noises

scheming cupid!leo who barks loudly once more, when he sees his father open the door…

except he’s half naked; his toned abs and chest still slightly wet from the downpour earlier that morning. his pants, although loose and baggy, still accentuate the muscles developed over years of training.

you, however, are still oblivious to this sight, having still had leo thrusted out towards charles’ door

“everything ok y/n?” he calls out to you, and you whip your eyes open to face charles. except your eyes can’t help but fixate down at his chest,

then his abs,

then his v-cut

and then…

“eyes up sweetheart, can’t let you get too distracted yet,” he smirks, gently taking leo from your hands, before grabbing his phone out of his pocket. “you, me, 8pm tomorrow night? i would love to know about the woman who’s making leo steal things from me. maybe even my heart…” he grins, placing his phone in the palm of your hand.

mischievous!leo yips from below, as he watches you type in your phone’y number, before giving charles a quick kiss on the cheek…

“i wouldn't miss for the world. although charles…”

“yes…?”

“you might want to keep leo out of your underwear drawer; i’ve already become quite familiar with it,”

50 KITCHEN WITCH TIPS TO MAKE YOU FEEL MORE WITCHY

(And other useful things I've learned over the years)

Hi! This is a list of dos, don'ts, tips, tricks, and other fun things that I've learned over the years. I always love finding more effective and efficient ways of doing things so if you have any cool things you'd like to add, leave them in the comments or reblog. I'd love to read it.

Anyways... On with the list ^_^

Light candles around your kitchen space (just make sure nothing flammable is near you)

Annotate your cookbooks with the correspondence of the ingredients.

Mediating is really good to calm the mind before cooking.

Cut oranges and lemons thinly, dry them, and hang them with twine around your kitchen

Need a cleansing tip? Open all your windows near your kitchen. Let some fresh air in.

Cutting sigils into apples, pie crusts, and carved potatoes.

Save lemon and orange rinds, freeze them, and then use them to clean the garbage disposal.

Make infused oils and honey: Things like garlic honey, lavender honey, herb oil, sun oil, moon oil, dandelion oil, and other different edible oils are very fun and useful to make.

Hid sigils in pages of your cookbooks and kitchen witch journals.

Add some plants! Snake plants and spider plants don't need too much light, and growing your own herbs in your kitchen is awesome too. Basil, lavender, thyme, aloe vera, rosemary, etc. are good fits. You could also add some plants that require more sunlight on the kitchen window sill. Like cacti and succulents.

Bring crystals into your kitchen space such as rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, or whatever you want the space's intentions to be.

I keep a small money tree on the sill, along with cacti for luck and protection.

Make a simmer Pot! Mostly because it makes the whole house smell good, easy, and fun.

Stir clockwise for best results!

Learning how to pickle things is actually pretty witchy. Plus, anyone could do it as it requires absolutely no kitchen experience. You could pickle any vegetable, even if you don't like pickles. I originally learned this after having to take shelter from a natural disaster. A person brought a bunch of stuff and taught us how to pickle things with different spices and herbs. Very fun!

Decorate your kitchen with your favorite stuff. Crystals, decor, heat mits, that cool mushroom cake stand you've been eyeing at the World Market for the past 2 weeks, cool looking curtains, sun catchers. Why stop there? Paint the walls, hang shelves full of marked-up cookbooks that are a little too well-loved and thumbed through.

Wanna be the person that has the amazing-smelling house every time people come over? Syrups take some time to simmer down, it's actually a pretty good time to leave it on the stove to simmer. Since syrups have a lot of aromatic ingredients, it acts as a really good-smelling simmer pot.

Hang up herbs to dry with twine from cabinets that are rarely used.

Invest in that new set of plates and cups.

Homemade jams, butter, sauces, and syrups are your best friend.

Crochet or knit your own dish rags, pot holders, etc.

Don't pour extremely hot things into a glass that's not Pyrex, it will break, and you will be very sad about it.

Don't cook anything while extremely upset or emotional (For safety reasons)

Make recipes you want to make, not just because you'll like the effect. Make it because you think it's tasty.

Chinese Five Spice works in place of herbs for protection and luck spells a lot of the time! It's cheaper to buy 1 spice than 4 different spices that total up to 15 dollars when you could just spend 3-4 dollars.

Take a shower before cooking (I don't know how to explain this one other than it makes you feel better)

Don't use microfiber/plastic material clothes on hot burners, it will fuse to the burner and melt. It is VERY hard to get off.

I don't know if I need to put this one but I did see someone do it so nonstick pan = wooden utensils and plastic utensils, metal pan = metal utensils. Do not use a metal spoon in a nonstick pan, please. It can make you very sick.

Keep your pets away from hot oil, open ovens, and hot pans.

You can proof bread dough in the fridge overnight if you don't have the time to bake, or want to eat fresh bread right in the morning.

Need a quick witchy meal for dinner in 12 minutes? Use premade tomato pasta sauce and doctor it up with thyme, rosemary, and garlic, for protection and distilling stagnant energies. Serve with pasta of your liking.

You can substitute Butter for Crisco/shortening, buttermilk for 1 cup of milk + 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, and heavy cream for 1 cup of half and half plus 2 tbsp of butter.

Use leftover animal bones to make bone broth

Teach yourself the art of bread scoring (It's fun, and you can show it off to your loved ones!)

Collect and hoard your own and others' family recipes.

Sometimes the food doesn't have to be a spell, sometimes it just makes you feel good and you don't know why.

Listen to your favorite music in the kitchen, it makes the monotonous things like chopping veggies move faster.

Invest in a vegetable chopper if you don't like chopping vegetables.

Find a really good hot cocoa recipe and make it once a week. Master it. Just for your own happiness because hot cocoa is really good. You could also be the friend/family member that makes the best hot cocoa ever.

Focaccia Bread Lasts a very long time, and it's very easy to make!

Keep a first aid kit near where the oven is, in case of burns, cuts, or serious injuries where time is everything.

Quick Bread and no-rise loaves are simple for beginners, tasty, and take little time. They also feel very witchy to make.

Study a bit of Herbalism! It's fun and really helps better understand the herbs you're putting into your food.

While something is boiling, put your wooden spoon over the pot to minimize the chance of something boiling over.

Try a bit of coffee magick, it's simple to get into, and gives you a boost of energy to take on the day!

If you're over 21, wine-making is a very interesting way to celebrate the sabbats. Just with that, make sure you KNOW what you're doing. With anything fermented, there's always a risk if you don't store things correctly. Apple wines, strawberry wines, dandelion wines, etc. all very cool to experiment with. If you're not over 21, vinegar is a similar way to experiment.

Hang up some witchy things, sigils, photos, cool magnets, and other things that give you joy on your fridge. (Sometimes if you are lucky they have some fun magnets at five below)

If you live in the US, for some reason, there are a lot of books in the book section dedicated to witchcraft and spirituality. At least where I live. And they are all under 5 dollars!

Teas are the cheapest and easiest things you can practice being a kitchen witch.
