When Denki was little, he was more shy and introverted than he is now. He was the kid that sat in the corner and watched, trying to find his opening into the other kid's conversation, and when he found it, he would try, and be rejected. So when he got first grade he had to start playing by himself. He didn't even bother trying anymore.

One day a new kid showed up to class, Denki ignored him for the most part, figuring that the new kid would become friends with the others in his class. But when the class had break time, Denki moved to play with the plastic dinosaurs he always did, while distracted the new kid sat beside him. The new kid eventually spoke up, scaring Denki a little.

“Can I play with you?”

Denki was excited and scared that someone wanted to play with him, so of course, he nodded and tried to catch the kid up with his dinosaur story.

“Here you can be the red one, like your eyes, you can also be other ones if you want but I thought this was fighting, oh and I’m Kaminari.”

“I'll be the red one, and I’m Kirishima!”

The next day Denki expected the red-eyed boy to move on and play with others, but when the break came, Kirishima followed Denki to the dinosaur bin, starting where they left off. This cycle repeated until the two became best friends, using first names, they were inseparable.

Denki remembers many little moments, like when Eijiro bit Denki and left a scar on his pinky finger, Denki wanted to know how sharp Eijiros teeth were and being young and unsupervised, the best way to discover the sharpness of his teeth. Though Denki feels bad because as soon as the skin brock Eijiro began to cry, sorry for hurting him. Denkis remembers Eijiro crying while promising.

“I'll never hurt you again, I’ll be the person who protects you, I promise.”

Kirishima kissed the hand where he just hurt his friend. This would become their way of pledging a promise to each other.

Another memory is the first time the two understood marriage. In about third grade Denki completely understood marriage, while Eijiro was a little behind, so Denki explained.

“So when you love someone and want to protect them you marry the=m so you can be together forever!”

“So we should be married!”

Eijiro suggested, trying to clarify but Denki wasn't sure Eijiro understood what he meant.

“I mean yeah, if you want, but you would be stuck with me, and we have to be adults. Oh, like our parents are married, you know how your mom feels for you mama, that's the feeling that means you should get married to a person.”

“I get it, and I feel that way with you, I want to become like my moms with you.”

Denki laughed, overjoyed with the idea.

“Me too, we just have to wait for us to grow older.’ “I can wait”

After that the two would propose to each other all the time, most of the time it would happen when one of them found a flower and tied it around the other's finger.

In the year before middle school, Eijiro tells Denki that his family is moving and he’ll still be close but he won’t be going to the same middle school. The two are both devastated that they won't be able to be together in middle school. When Eijiro tells Denki, Denki breaks down, overcome with many emotions, not knowing exactly why he cries and says words that he’s not even sure to make full sentences, but Eijiro understands.

“I love you too Denki, remember, I'm still going to be close enough to hang out on weekends, and in the future when we're married and heroes together this won’t matter anymore.”

The two never became an official couple, they were comfortable being together as whatever they were without a label. Denki became more confident in himself, along with flirtatious, he even began calling Eijiro names like babe or honey, he loved seeing the way Eijiros cheeks would change to match his eyes. Eijiro had a harder time with confidence in middle school but he never let Denki know that always avoid such questions.

Towards the end of middle school the two both agreed to try their best to get into U.A high, it was a dream for them to become heroes together, run an agency, and be married. Though Eijirou stopped talking about the marriage dream, Denki figured it was because he was more focused on becoming a hero first.

Later in the summer, the two learned that they were both accepted and that they were in the same class. It was all they could dream, this was their first real step toward being heroes. They trained together before school officials started, they got everything together.

One day, barely a week before their first day at U.A, Eijirou talked to Denki about their relationship.

“I think we should hide that we know each other.”

Denki agreed, he loved Eijiro and if this would make him more comfortable at their new school, he would do so.

“Okay, I promise”

Denki grabbed Eijirou’s hand lifting it to his lips, soft l kissing the back of his hand. Eijirou did the same after whispering a promise.

WHen Denki promised to pretend to be a stranger, he only thought about how it would make Eijiro more comfortable, he didn’t think about how it might make himself feel. And he really should have because he regretted it. It was clear that Eijiro was comfortable, more than comfortable with their new classmates. Denki watches as Eijiro becomes close with people, and though he is often included in that group, it feels distant. He feels like he’s back in a classroom, one before Eijiro showed up, and he played with his dinos as he watched groups of other kids playhouse together, acting like a family that loved each other. He hadn’t felt this way since he meant Eijiro, but for some reason, it had returned. And Denki had a feeling that it had to do with the other blonde in his new friend group.

Eventually, Denki was able to call Eijiro babe and other names that romantic couples would use. Everyone just pushed it off as Denki being a flirt, but in reality, it was nicknamed that Denki just couldn’t hold back anymore, names that he couldn’t wait to be true, names he would use when he had a ring on his finger and was married to the boy who played dinosaurs with him. Names that he hoped made Eijiro just as happy. And lastly, names that Denki hoped would bring Eijiro back to him.

Denki wasn’t as stupid as some people assumed, he saw the way his future husband looked at bakugou, he saw how the explosive blonde looked at the now redhead. They had the same look that Denki had for Eijiro, the same look that Eijirou used to look at Denki. But he told himself it wasn’t something to worry about, looking at the back of his hand, the hand that Eijiro kissed when he promised that they would be married, the hand that brought tears to the ruby eyes when he saw that he made his friend bleed, the same hand that Eijiro held when he was overwhelmed in situations, like before the entrance exam. The hand that was stained red for a week when he helped dye Eijiros hair, which is now his most notable feather but not to Denki, it will always be the eyes, no dye or contacts, could produce a prettier shade of red.

As much as Denki tried to ignore it, but as hard as he tried he saw everything, the lovey-dovey eyes that Eijiro and Bakugo had, the holding hands, sneaking off, to hanging out without the group. Late at night he could hear shuffling above him, until he heard knocks above him, not for him but knocks on Eijirou door, hard aggressive knocks that Denki memorized after the first time, Bakugos knock. Denki couldn’t even count the amount of time he was kicked out of Eijirou’s room, because Bakugo was coming over, on his hands. He noticed that his flirtatious names and comments no longer changed Eijiros cheeks to a bright red, while the simple words bakugou would yell had Eijiro covering his face, but Denki saw the blush on the tops of his best friend's ears. He saw as the red dinosaur that Eijiro had kept from first grade, the one that matched Denkis yellow one, lost its spot on Eijirou shelf, now replaced with an all might figure, Denki knew that it was one Bakugo gave to him and it hurt to know that he was being replaced in all forms.

It became too much to ignore, it constantly filled his thoughts, it filled all conversations as well. The pain hurt, and he kept telling himself that Eijiro loves him, that it was promised but he needs confirmation.

He texted “babe ♥ ” to meet him outside. He waited, feeling his pocket buzz but didn't check it, he watched the doors waiting to see the doors open. And when he did he saw the man he loved, the man he planned to marry, Eijiro still had that smile on his face that Denki couldn't help but swoon over, but then he saw and Eijiro turned around and held the door open, he looked happy and like he was joking with someone, then bakugou walked threw the door. Denki watched as they said goodbye and Eijiro ran over to Denki ad bakugou waited, leaned against the school wall”

“ Hey man what’s up”

“I just, I had a question for my baby”

Denki was extremely nervous but he used his best acting to hid i

“Do you still love me”

“ of course I love you, that will never change”

Denki let himself breathe again

“You’re my best friend man, of course, I love you. I want to be with you for the rest of my life, I want you to be the best man at my wedding, I want my children to think of you as an uncle. I know you've been feeling lonely recently but I promise you that I and others still love you”

Eijiro lifted Denkis hand and kissed it, Denki used the strongest dams he had to hold back his tears

“So I’ll be your best man, not the groom”

He laughs a little thinking that he was stupid for even asking

“ I mean yeah, I know that we joked about getting married but we were just kids, puppy love, am I right? We grow up and find real love?”

Denki watched as Eijiro turned to look at Bakugou. Denki saw love in Eijirou’s eyes love that was more than he ever saw in emojis eyes. Denki knew that he would never be the love that Eiji wanted or needed, the closest he would ever be would be a best friend, and as much as it hurt, it was better than nothing, so he nodded and said

“Yeah puppy love, I promise.”

Denki took Eijirou's hand and kissed it, Eijirou repeating after him.

“And this is kind of awkward but I think we should stop with this form of making promises, along with the babe nicknames. Katsuki can be a little jealous and I think we're going to get serious soon, he's asked me out on a date today, so I just think we should stop all our romantic habits.”

Denki nodded again

“Yeah I understand ba--Eijiro, go have fun”

Eijiro started to run back to bakugou while yelling

“Thanks, man, I love you”

When Denki knew Eijiro was too far to see the tears he let them fall, but it didn't matter because Eijirou wasn’t paying attention to the electric blonde, all his attention was on the explosive blonde. Falling to his knees when he realized that the ruby-eyed boy didn't even care, Denki’s voice was rough when he whispered.

“I love you to Eijiro”

As much as he wanted to say, babe, even if Eijirou was too far to hear, Denki would always respect and do anything to make Eijiro happy and comfortable.

Poly Bakusquad Headcanon #1

Everyone trying to find out what’s up with the Bksqd when they’ve just been dating this whole time.

Maybe it’ll be a 5+1 thing? Only this time it’s 10+1 !!! Hmmm,,, That makes a decent size one shot or a good 11 chapters!!! Oh wait,,, I can write more with rotations of 3 and 4,,, Nah, that’s too much…yeah, it’s too much….well…no. Too much.

Anyway. Either way, it sounds exquisite.

Now. what will the situations be. (The situations everyone else is seeing and trying to figure out their relationship from)

KiriMina : they’re always curled up together. Very touchy feely with each other. Mina is always on his back, he rests his head between her horns, she falls asleep in his lap. They hook their feet together a lot, very touchy.

KiriBaku, see : everything. The way they spar, the way they’re always one, two steps away from each other. The way they’re always at each other’s house. They always seem so in-tuned with each other too.

KiriKami : playing with each other’s hands. they’ll play with each other’s fingers and rings, rub them pad of the other’s thumb, trace the lines of their palms, all absentmindedly too

BakuMina : slow dancing. they have a habit of holding onto each other and gently rocking when they’re standing for one place too long. bakugou will normally wrap his arms around mina’s waist and she folds her arm over his. it normally happens in the kitchen when Bakugou is cooking, even though he grumbles that she’ll cause the food too burn.

SeroBaku : skateboarding. rollerblading. they do it together. skate around with each other for hours, sometimes taking, sometimes not, they always set aside time to do it together. decorate each other’s skates/boards.

SeroKiri : exchanging clothes. sero lives in a specific red riot hoodie and the sweatpants that kirishima always wears are always rolled up at the ankles. the exchange shirts and skirts and tank tops and beanies. anything that can fit just to keep the other close.

SeroMina : make up. It always looks so intimate the way they hold each other’s face, legs on either side of each other and gently do each other’s make up. there do it for hours sometimes and are other times just for five minutes.

KamiKatsu : reading together. they exchange books and sit and talk about plot for hours. Sometimes kaminari will just open his arms and let katsuki press down on him like a heavy blanket while he reads aloud and rubs his shoulders.

SeroKami : hair scratches. head pats. little braids and clips and headbands that they’ll style each other’s hair with. sometimes the strike us similar, more often than not it’s not. the wash each other’s hair too.

KamiMina : cheek squishes. will just walk up to the other and squish cheeks. pat them too. if they do something particularly cute the other just. pat. squish. (Pffft, that’s reminding me of cell block tango- anyway)

hey, i have an emergency request, but its ok if you decline for whatever reason. and there's quite a bit to unpack, so its ok if this takes a while too.

i tend to daydream a lot, and what i came up with was a lot more gorey and just fucked up than i would've liked. i feel pretty sick and i can only wait it out. so can i have a scenario with poly kiri and denki comforting their girlfriend abt it? i know its probably a weird matchup, and you havent really done anything like this. but ty for any sort of response.

Kirishima knew something was up, just from the look on your face when you all were sitting there in silence, and when there was pure silence you normally ended up in a daydream

Normally during daydreams, you had a certain emotion displayed on your face, and it was normally a happy one, but this time it was a look that Kirishima had never seen on your face before, pure disgust. You looked like you were about to get sick

“Denki,” Kirishima said, causing Kaminari to look up from his phone as he scrolled through an app, “Do you want to come with me to go get some snacks?”

“Oh sure,” Kaminari replied, turning his phone off and setting it on the bed, before turning to you. He didn’t pay much attention to the look on your face and spoke to you, “You wanna come too, Y/n?”

When you didn’t answer, Kaminari brought a hand up and snapped in front of your face, trying to gain your attention, “Y/n?”

Kirishima worriedly glanced at you, you never got so into your daydreams that you didn’t notice them calling for you

“Y/n!” Kaminari finally yelled, snapping you out of it. You looked around for a second, trying to process what’s happening

“Are you alright?” Kirishima asked, his voice full of pure concern

“Yeah, I’m fine. What did you guys want?” You asked, looking between them

“We wanted to know if you wanted to come to the kitchen to grab some snacks with us?” Denki explained

“No, I’m good,” you replied, shaking your head. Kaminari gave you a quick kiss, before getting up and going towards the door. Kirishima glanced at you, giving you one last concerned look, before placing a kiss on your forehead, and following Denki out of the room and to the kitchen

You patiently sat there, waiting for them to return. While you were waiting, your mind kept drifting back to that horrible daydream, and it made you feel sick to your stomach

Soon enough they returned, and immediately sat down beside you. They gave each other a glance, before looking back to you and then you realized that they must have talked to each other about you

“Y/n, are you alright?” Kirishima gently asked, placing a hand on your shoulder.

“I’m fine, why wouldn’t I be?” You quickly covered it up, trying not to bother them with your issue

“I know you’re lying,” Denki tried this time, “Please just talk to us. We’re worried about you.”

Finally, after a rather loud sigh, you started to explain the specifics of the daydream, causing you to almost throw up

After that, Kirishima made you keep quiet as they comforted you the best they could

They did every and any thing that they could to get your mind off of the daydream and be back on them

They didn’t give up that night until you got your mind off of it, and they had successfully distracted you from it, and given you better things that you can daydream about

Then after they finally got your mind off of it, they each laid on one of your sides, and spent the rest of the night whispering calming things to you, before y’all finally fell asleep

denki flung himself into izuku’s awaiting arms, almost knocking them over in the doorway. they giggled as the other four men looked at them: three with adoration and one with annoyance.

“it’s my turn now. move denki.” shoto complains after 2 more seconds.

he hasn’t seen his best friend in awhile, he deserves a damn hug.

“oh! sorry, sho!” denki pulled away and let the dual haired male hug izuku.

“SHO!” izuku shouts with glee. shoto didn’t yell back, but he was just as excited even if his face didn’t show it a lot. shoto smiles as they hug and he kisses the crown of izuku’s head.

he looked straight into katsuki’s eyes as he did so to further piss off the blonde. hint: it worked.

“keep your nasty lips off deku! who knows where they’ve been!”

“ah ah ah! no dick jokes! watch your mouth, sero!” izuku admonishes the dark haired man.

sero only laughs in response as kirishima holds back his own laughter. izuku hugs the both of them and the group finally migrates further into the house.

“dinner is almost done, but i thought we could give you guys a quick tour! there isn’t much to see, but i think it’ll still be nice.” izuku explains after their guests put on the house slippers he offered them.

denki is bouncing in place, very excited to finally see his best friends house. the living room is well decorated and there’s picture frames every where. some of the trio, others of their families.

“baby, relax. i know you’re excited, but please calm down.” kirishima says with the most loving expression as he puts his hands on denki’s shoulders.

denki stops and looks back at his boyfriend. “sorry, sorry! i’ll try!”

kirishima chuckles and kisses his cheek. “okay, cutie.”

dammit, denki still blushes when he compliments him. they’ve been together for awhile now, he should be used to it, but he can’t control it. don’t get him wrong, denki loves the attention. he just wants to thank kirishima without being a blushing and stuttering mess.

“don’t fucking touch anything! we don’t need your god damn germs!” katsuki barks out, arms crossed over his broad chest.

they all steadfastly ignore him and touch everything.

can you blame them? pissing katsuki off is a fun hobby.

after the quick house tour they finally sit down to enjoy dinner. izuku and katsuki made a stew since it’s starting to get cold. they had various side dishes as well. izuku had bought a couple bottles of wine, too.

(katsuki yelled at him for that because they were the expensive ones. izuku only pouted and the blonde forgave him immediately.)

dinner is full of laughter from the jokes and the stories being told. sero at one point choked on his food when making fun of katsuki and the blonde tried his best to keep the others from helping.

“no! let him fucking die! he shouldn’t talk so much shit!”

“kacchan, i told you earlier: be nice! now, fucking help him!”

and everyone knows it’s no good arguing with izuku when he drops the f-bomb in a verbal conversation rather than over text.

katsuki is only mildly scared of his fiancé.

once they made sure sero wasn’t dead, the fun continued until it hit midnight. everyone is pleasantly buzzed, not too drunk to get home safely. though, izuku did offer for them to stay and katsuki agreed in his own tsundere way.

the group rejected but izuku still made them stay for a glass of water or two. he loves his friends and wants them safe.

they all said their goodbyes, and just to annoy katsuki one last time, shoto and denki hugged him. katsuki hates being touched by non-deku’s and the two knew that. he threatened to murder them if they didn’t let go, but of course they only hugged tighter.

the other 3 decided to join in so it was a group hug with katsuki fuming in the middle.

after various curses and threats, they let go and their friends finally left.

“i fucking hate them. they’re never coming back, got it? banned permanently.” katsuki grumbles with a glare at izuku.

the shorter male only giggled. “kacchan, it’s okay. i know you love them. to an extent,” he wraps his arms around katsuki’s torso and hugs him. the blonde hugs back. “i’m very tired and about to fall asleep on my feet. can you clean up for me? i’ll reward you, i promise.”

“tch, a reward huh? and what might that be?”

izuku looks up at him with the sweetest smile. katsuki knows it’s anything but that.

“come in the room in 30 minutes and you’ll see.”

katsuki smirks and snakes his hand down to izuku’s ass, giving it a light smack. “i only need 20.”

“clock is ticking.” izuku says teasingly as he makes his way to their room. he shuts the door and katsuki remains rooted in his spot for a moment.

“fuck, i’m so lucky.”

(he ended up finishing in 18 minutes.)

Part 12

He had one text from the day after the last time they saw each other.

Kacchan: “We need to talk about yesterday”

He had a missed call on the following day. And another text sent late that same night.

Kacchan: “Where are you going, anyway?”

The next text was two days later.

Kacchan: “Did you fucking block me!?”

There was another missed call the next day, accompanied by another text.

Kacchan: “Deku, pick up the phone! We need to talk. Fuck!”

The next text was sent about a week later, in a completely different tone.

Kacchan: “Hey, just call me, okay?”

But a few days later he sounded angry again.

Kacchan: “Were you fucking serious back then? Are you gonna pretend I don’t fucking exist anymore?”

The next thing to check was a voice mail. “Deku. Just… pick up the phone. I… something happened and-” There was silence for a moment. “I… I don’t get why you’re doing this” A sigh was heard and the line was cut.

Another week had passed until the next texts were sent.

Kacchan: “I’m mad at you”

Kacchan: “I’m just so fucking mad I would punch you if you were here”

Kacchan: “Come back”

The next was another voice mail. Katsuki remained silent one moment and sighed before starting. “I called your mom today. She said you need space and that you’ll come back to me” Katsuki became silent again, and Izuku heard shuffling, like he was moving around. “Is that true? Are you gonna come back to me?” There was silence one again, and Izuku thought there was nothing more when he heard a weak “Just do it”

Izuku stopped reading his texts and listening to his recording for a moment. His heart was pounding and tears were burning his eyes. Izuku breathed slowly, trying to calm down. Finding out Katsuki felt like this wasn’t easy. Maybe he was just upset because he wasn’t in charge anymore, so Izuku needed to keep his mind clear.

But it only lasted until the following voice mail.

“Deku, I… I have a stain” Izuku caught his breath, tears finally bursting from his eyes. He heard Katsuki catching breath. “I don’t know what the fuck is going on, but I have a stain” Another silence. Long, too long. “You left a stain” Was all Katsuki said before cutting the line.

Izuku froze. His eyes widened and he breathed deeply. That was impossible. He was careful to not touch Kacchan’s skin. Izuku knew he hadn’t touched Kacchan. Why did he had said something like that? After some moment, Izuku continued reading.

Kacchan: “About the last call… I’ve been searching and nobody knows about this”

Kacchan: “I guess I’m wrong and this thing isn’t a stain, but it won’t go away”

Kacchan: “I like it, tho, it has the same color as your eyes”

Izuku read those last texts over and over again. He replayed the last voice mail, too. Izuku found sadness in Katsuki’s tone and his heart ached. Izuku continued scrolling.

Kacchan: “Do you think it’s possible you marked me with your tears? I can’t stop thinking about it”

Kacchan: “I hope you aren’t crying right now, since you’re far away from me”

Kacchan: “That’s why you left?”

Wait. Did Kacchan think he left because of that? He hadn’t known anything. Izuku kept reading, hoping he was wrong in his assumption.

Kacchan: “I always knew I wouldn’t be able to leave your side, but I never thought about the possibility of you leaving mine. Was I always this stupid?”

“Kacchan, no…” Izuku said to the phone, as if Katsuki was able to hear him. He played the following voice mail.

“I don’t know why I keep doing this. I guess it’s what I have left, right?” Katsuki let out a dry laugh and Izuku closed his eyes tight. “Do you miss me?”

“I do” Izuku answered, crying and holding the phone tight.

“I miss you” Katsuki said into his ear, and everything started spinning. He replayed it so many times he lost count. But there were some more text, and Izuku started to scroll again. The following texts were separated by days, but there was many of them.

Kacchan: “I thought I was used to feeling scared, but I guess I’m not”

Kacchan: “You said you have to lose me, but I don’t want you to. If you love me, like you said, come back”

Kacchan: “Why it hurt so much?”

Kacchan: “Why did you leave?”

Kacchan: “The stain remains. It still the same color as you”

Kacchan: “Why did you leave a stain and then disappear?”

Kacchan: “Come back”

Kacchan: “I miss you”

Izuku couldn’t stop crying. He rubbed his eyes, trying to continue reading.

Kacchan: “I’m spending so much time with myself, thinking, and I get it. I should have said something, I should have told you everything before. But I just couldn’t”

Kacchan: “I get it’s my fault for being an asshole. I just…”

Kacchan: “I was scared”

The next thing was a voice mail and Izuku breathed deeply before playing it.

“Hi. I guess I keep doing this, huh? I don’t know if you’re going to receive all this shit. Maybe you just threw your phone away” Katsuki laughed weakly and sadly on the record. “I only… Look, I never meant to make you do this. You can… come back, and… and I will stay away, okay? You don’t have to do this. We don’t have to be nothing. You don’t have to worry about the stain or any shit. Just come back. Don’t run away from your life because of me”

“No” Izuku said out loud. “I want to be by your side, I-”

Kacchan: “If your tears marked me, did mine marked you?”

“No, don’t… Did you…?”

Kacchan: “I’m lost”

Kacchan: “I think about you everyday”

“Me too. I can’t stop”

Kacchan: “Are you finally happy? Is this what you needed? I would step aside. I would do anything for you”

“No! I don’t want this!” Izuku cried, holding his phone tight. “I don’t want this, I miss you” Izuku curled in on himself, hiding his face with the bed sheets. Reading and hearing Katsuki’s feels and thought was making his heart ache. When Izuku collected himself a little, he played another voicemail.

“You know? I can’t stop thinking about you hugging me that day” Katsuki started without wasting a second. He laughed, but it sounded broke. “Ten years” Katsuki laughed again. “Do you believe it? I’ve spent ten years scared of hugging you, of touching you” his voice broke a little. “Because I always knew I wasn’t enough”

“What are you talking about?” Izuku made a face of disbelief, staring at the screen.

“I’m not enough for you and I’m starting to think you knew, too. That’s why you left and threw your phone away, right? You saw the stain. And I’m not blaming you”

“What are you talking about, stupid?”

“I just wish I was more worthy” Katsuki hung up.

Izuku frowned deeply at the screen. He stormed out of his room, grabbed his keys, put on his red shoes, and left the apartment.

Kacchan: “I didn’t mark you, right? So you can just pretend you didn’t neither”

Kacchan: “I keep sending you shit, what is wrong with me?”

Kacchan: “I just… just tell me to stop and I’ll do. You can come back. I’ll step aside. But don’t do this because of me”

He kept reading on his way, finally reaching at the last texts.

Kacchan: “I wish I was worthy”

Kacchan: “I hope you find someone worth it”

Izuku clenched his teeth and started running. He reached Katsuki’s apartment, with the phone still unlocked, and the sound of a new message came to his ears.

Kacchan: “Deku?”

Izuku didn’t mind it, knowing probably Kacchan had seen the change of states of the icons. Instead, he pounded on the door. He heard nothing inside.

Me: “Open the door”

Izuku texted while hitting the door again. He heard steps running towards him and the door opened wide.

“Dek-” Izuku pushed him roughly, making Katsuki take a few steps back. “Wha-” Izuku shoved him again and Katsuki fell on the floor.

“You’re a fucking asshole!” Izuku yelled. Denki appeared in front of him, asking what was happening and Izuku only glared at him. “Get out!” Denki looked at them both and decided to leave them alone, closing the front door behind him, and already calling Eijirou.

“I know” Katsuki said, without any attempt to get up.

“No! You don’t know nothing! What the fuck is all that about not being worthy?”

“Look, I-”

“No! Just shut up! You’ve said enough shit already!” Izuku started pacing around the place, glaring at him intermittently. “You are not the one to decide if you are enough or not, okay?” Katsuki kept silence and Izuku approached. “Okay?!”

“Okay” The blonde whispered.

“You… I can’t believe you” Izuku continued pacing around. “What were you so scared of, huh?”

“Deku, I…” Katsuki started excusing himself but Izuku knew him far too well.

“No. Enough excuses. Tell me!”

“I… I was afraid of not being the one for you, okay?!” Katsuki looked up at Izuku, who continued pacing around, but smacked his own forehead in disbelief.

“Are you serious?”

“I am! It terrified me thinking about touching you and nothing happening!” Katsuki yelled, because fuck, it had been ten fucking years carring that weigh on his shoulders. Izuku stopped and looked into his eyes. Katsuki’s breath caught at the intensity of his gaze. They kept staring each other for a few seconds until Izuku’s face relaxed a bit.

“That wouldn’t matter” Izuku’s voice was calmer now.

“Hah?”

“That wouldn’t matter”

“What are you talking about?”

“I love you, okay? I always have” Izuku looked away, sighing, and his phone caught his attention. He looked at it a moment, locked it, and turned his eyes again at Katsuki. “It is true? Do you have a stain?”

Katsuki took a moment to react, then he reached a hand up to pull his sweater aside. Izuku’s eyes stared at his skin, where his tear had burned him that day.

“I… did that?”

“Your tears burned me, and I didn’t have it before. I just noticed later that day”

“Do that mean…?”

“I guess?”

“You guess?”

“Yeah, I don’t know. I’m fucking scared. I-” Katsuki sat properly on the floor. “I missed you so much”

“Are you scared of you not leaving a stain on me?” Izuku avoid the second part, he had missed Kacchan so much, too, but they had to talk about another things.

“I’m terrified” Katsuki admitted. He looked up at Izuku and saw him turning to face him entirely. Katsuki got up slowly under Izuku’s watch.

“I always believed that you had to be my soulmate. I just stopped thinking it because I thought you feared being it. I lost faith”

“It was just the opposite” Katsuki said, shaking his head.

“But you never told me”

“I know. And I’m sorry”

“Just…” Izuku moved his green eyes to the stain. “I can’t believe I did that”

Katsuki raised a hand and caressed it, just as he did every day. “Me neither”

They looked into each other’s eyes, without walls between them for the first time in ten years. Izuku raised one arm, offering it to Katsuki. He didn’t move.

“Do it” Izuku said, moving his arm a bit closer. Katsuki raised a hand, slowly.

“Whatever happens… I love you too” Katsuki said, grabbing Izuku’s wrist to pull Izuku against him, kissing him. Izuku felt a warm pain, right there where Katsuki was touching him, both his wrist and his lips. They wrapped their arms around each other, kissing deeply and desperately, until they felt breathless. When they parted, they pressed their foreheads together, breathing the same air. Izuku moved his hand between them and they both looked down. A beautiful orange stain had just bloomed there, with a little green stain underneath. They smiled and Izuku moved his eyes to the green stain again. He touched it, and Katsuki gasped. The same warm pain reaffirmed the stain.

“I love you so much, my soulmate” Izuku whispered, and Katsuki just kissed him again.

kaminari and kirishima, friends forever right? wrong. they got in a fight a while back, about how kirishima needs to get out of his abusive relationship with bakugo before it gets worse. kirishima didnt listen he thought kaminari was 'jealous' or 'trying to hoard kirishima to himself', and that hurt kaminari more than any punch could. kaminari was wounded at what his 'true friend' accused, a wound that would never heal fully. the two had gone down separate paths, no longer speaking with eachother, trying to out due each other in every aspect. it escalated fast, kaminari dropped out of the bakusquad to fly solo until he felt welcome once more, and kirishima was broken; torn between his lost friend and bakugo. kaminari had begun to lash out at anyone who tried to interact with him, no matter how close they where to him. mina couldnt help kirishima at all, his grades had started to slip out from under his feet along with his happy go lucky personality. kaminari in the same boat as kirishima. the class was starting to fall into despair with the two comical relief and memers out off commission. so that catches us all up on this story, so here we go!

kaminari stormed out of the class growling lowly, failed test firmly gripped in hand. "just barely above c level..." he growled out pushing open the door to his dorm with his shoulder crumpling up the test and dropping it in the trashcan as he walked over to his bed and sat down looking at his left wrist in shame before tossing his overcoat to the side and falling back on his bed. "why didnt you trust me kiri?" kaminari asked as he got up and walked over to a random drawer pulling out an array of red pens and markers before gliding them across scars to imitate the blood that once flowed before taking an elastic band and dragging it around his wrist before pulling and releasing in a repetitive motion to imitate pain. "that should be enough for now." he mumbled before calling up mina and completely unloading everything onto her as he cried his eyes out wanting things to go back to the way it used to be. "ok, bye mina, see you in the morning." kaminari sniffled out before falling asleep on his gaming chair, which had been reduced to crying chair.

kirishima awoke the next morning with a start from a nightmare realizing bakugo still had a vice grip on him. "right..." kirishima thought as he gently pushed bakugos arm aside and got up putting on his uniform, not even bothering to shower or wash his face properly from lack of motivation. "maybe today he'll come back." kirishima thought as he glanced over eyes landing on the only picture he had left of him and kaminari, they where kissing in the picture. "i still remember how he tasted, i never got a chance to kill mina for that dare." kirishima though with a light smile as he looked at the photo of the three locked in a tight group hug. "but now i think i should thank her for it." he looked back seeing bakugo had latched onto him from behind still half asleep. "good morning bakugo." kirishima said in a sweet voice.

"good morning teddy bear." bakugo said as he put on his uniform and had a piece of buttered toast tossed at him by kirishima which was caught in his mouth expertly. "i want you to remember something teddy bear." bakugo said as he placed a hand on kirishimas shoulder who looked bakugo in the eyes. "your mine and no one elses, understood?" kirishima nodded in response as bakugo leaned kirishimas head a little to the left and biting down harshly leaving a fresh mark of ownership. "much better." bakugo smirked as he left kirishima who followed close behind after adjusting his overcoat to cover the mark.

mina walked down the halls not noticing she was between kirishima and kaminari till she felt the tension in the air rise exponentially "cmon guys why cant you be friends again?" mina asked with a sigh hearing a murderous growl from kaminari aimed at bakugo who growled back having kaminari cross his arms "want to hang out at my place tonight kaminari?" kaminari nodded in response "good, its been a while since we last hung out." mina said with a smile as she placed a hand on kaminaris shoulder pulling it back with a whine "your emanating electricity again." mina whined walking into the class and taking her seat in front of kaminari who was beside kirishima the others doing the same as aizawa walked in.

"alright class, lets get some battle training started up."

"sensie azawia may i sit out of battle training today?" kirishima asked having bakugo smirk.

"kirishima, your grades have fallen behind to much for me to allow that, im genuinely sorry." aizawa said having kirishima nod in understanding. "go put on your hero costumes and meet up in the main training arena." aizawa instructed everyone doing as told, tension in the air increasing when kaminari saw bakugo slide an arm around kirishimas waist.

they all met up outside kirishima trying to cover his neck in a futile attempt nobody noticing but kaminari, who walked up to kirishima and looked the redhead in the eyes. "explain it, now." kaminari ordered in a slight moving kirishimas hand from the bite mark giving a warning and worried look to kirishima who chuckled nervously in response seeing the glare bakugo sent his way. "i said, explain." kaminari ordered once more, worry in his voice hidden.

-just a mark of ownership from bakugo, he rebites every week so people will know im his and his only." kirishima explained with a weak smile and forced laugh. "just like it always has been." kaminari took a step back looking into kirishimas ruby eyes having mina rush up to prevent kaminari from fully losing balance. "you good?" kirishima asked having kaminari shook his head.

"you really believe it dont you?" kaminari asked. "i tried to get you out before it got this bad." kaminari felt a tear come to his eye mina wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"believe what?" kirishima asked having kaminari almost burst out in tears. "i always his since the start." kirishima said kaminari bursting into full on crying

"youve changed kirishima, he broke you... i tried to help you out, but you wouldnt listen to me..." kaminari said between slight sobs before leaving with mina who helped him keep his balance as they walked back inside.

"hey, its ok kaminari, its ok..." mina murmured trying to calm down kaminari who was having a mental breakdown sobbing on the floor trying to regain composure to no avail. "you still have me and jirou." mina said having kaminari lash out at her before running off realizing he half paralyzed mina for who knows how long.

"why, is it that everything i do, i mess up?" kaminari asked himself as he hid under a stairwell still sobbing. "i cant even keep my closest friend for a year..." kaminari wiped the tears from his golden eyes and got up walking back to his dorm leaning against a sink cupboard and going back to crying. he pulled a knife out of one of the drawers slight blood stains left on it from lack of washing and use, he pulled down his sleeve on the left wrist looking at the butterfly he drew on it with kirishimas name. "looks like this one wont fly free." he said before cutting a straight slash through it and dropping the knife into the sink sitting back on the floor looking at the blood flow forth and drip onto the floor. "i wasnt supposed to go back to that..." kaminari said weakly. "ive moved past it..." he said with a soft sob, before he stood up and grabbed a piece of paper and pencil and started writing a letter.

"teddy bear..." bakugo groans as he walks up and latches onto kirishima from behind. "the discount pikachu dropped this off for you." bakugo said handing the envelope to kirishima who grabbed it before continuing pouring tea.

"hes a jolteon, not a pikachu kat." kirishima said as he handed a cup of tea to bakugo who sipped it slowly while kirishima read the letter eyes widening slightly in realization, rubbing the mark on his neck shamefully. "how could i be fooled...?" he thought with a sigh as he walked to the door and put on his tyranitar hoodie smiling weakly at the memories of when kaminari got him that hoodie with a jolteon one and mina with a garbodor hoodie.

"cmon bro, just put on the hoodie, itll look great on you." kaminari said as he slid on his jolteon hoodie and spiked collar with mina doing the same with her garbodor hoodie and plain black collar.

"i dont really do hoodies bro, they dont look the best on me." kirishima said as he finished fitting the gold studded collar and slid on the hoodie looking at the pattern, kaminari tackling the redhead into a hug.

"who told you that hoodies dont look good on you?" kaminari asked as he held onto the taller tightly goofy grin as always. "they lied to you." kaminari let go of kirishima with a light chuckle.

"my ship is shoving off, now will it sail?" mina muttered under her breath smirk on face as she watched her two friends, maybe soon to be lovers. "i hope so..." she muttered before joining the hug.

"i love both of you guys so much..." kaminari said with a light chuckle in the undertone of his voice.

"i guess he really did mean it..." kirishima muttered as he walked to kaminaris dorm knocking on the door seeing kaminari open it wearing his jolteon hoodie along with his spiked collar. "h-hi..." kirishima said nervously as he was waved in by kaminari.

"im shocked he didnt force you to trash the hoodie." kaminari said as he poured some coke for the kirishima who looked around noticing the various origamis around the room. "admiring my origami i see." kaminari stated as he handed a cup to kirishima before sitting on the floor cup of water in hand sipping it slowly.

"yeah, when did you start making origami and why?" kirishima asked as he picked up a paper crane. "this one looks like a steve." kirishima said hearing kaminari chuckle.

"i started making origami a while back to distract myself from the insatiable urges." kaminari said as he grabbed a strip of gold paper, scribbled a message on it and folded up a star tossing it to kirishima who caught it. "only unfold and read the message if you want to talk it out tomorrow night." kaminari instructed having kirishima nod before kaminari got up and walked over to his pile of pokemon merch, pulling out a tyranitar plush and undoing the collar tossing it to kirishima. "i kept it here for you, you forgot it last time we hung out." kaminari said as he undid his looking at the inscription mina had put on, he only noticed it just recently.

"alright. i'll see you tomorrow. we dont say that we had this chat, understood?" kirishima asked as he walked to the door kaminari nodding before kirishima left to his dorm where he found bakugo already asleep on the pullout couch kirishima dropping down beside bakugo before sitting up and unfolding the star reading the coordinates on it before lying back in bed and drifting off to sleep.

mina walked out to the halls the next morning finding herself between kirishima and kaminari again, except no growls where interchanged, bakugo growled at kaminari, but kaminari stayed silent. "arent you supposed to growl back?" mina asked having kaminari say 'that he decided not to', shocking mina slightly. "weird, you always growl at each other." mina said walking into the class with the others.

"i should thank you pika." bakugo said catching kaminaris attention greatly, but his mood went from curiosity to rage when bakugo pulled over kirishima. "you went out of your way to get my teddy bear a collar." bakugo pulled down the turtleneck bit of the shirt kirishima was wearing, revealing the collar mina had bought for him, kirishima mouthing a small 'help me' subtly. "now everyone will know hes mine when they see the collar." bakugo smirked before walking to his seat kirishima following to his seat kaminari heading to his seat handing kirishima a scrap of paper that read 'yes or no?', kirshima marking the yes with a checkmark handing it back to kaminari.

the day hazed by for everyone, no humor was shared except for mina feeble attempts to ease up the tension in the room to no avail. "hey mina!" kaminari exclaimed grabbing minas attention seeing as how she dashed over.

kaminari traversed the foresty area he had discovered with kirishima before the fight, climbing into the hayloft of the abonded barn walking around until he found the mattress and table set up. "smells like happy memories." kaminari muttered as he flopped onto the bed, flipping up his hood, smiling softly as he started to braid the hay strands nearby. "just like when i was younger..." he mumbled sitting up and combining the five braids to make a hay crown which he placed beside him, grabbing a few more strands and starting to braid them into his hair so it would appear more hay like, the look he loved but never got a chance to show off. "full moon looks pretty tonight." kaminari muttered looking through the hole in the roof hearing footsteps and quickly turning to see who it was.

"hey." kirishima said as he sat next to kaminari having him place the hay crown on kirishimas head adjusting it slightly and smiling when he took a step back to look at kirishimas moonlit face. "like what you did with your hair." kirishima complimented having denki chuckle lightly at the compliment before asking for kirishima to let his hair down which was doen, allowing kaminari to braid some strands of hay into kirishimas ruby hair. "what did you want to talk about?" kirishima asked seeing kaminari turn red before undoing his collar.

"take off your collar." kaminari said having kirishima hesitate. "please, its important." kirishima undid his collar revealing more fresh bite marks, bruised and definitly going to leave a few more scars. "why didnt you fight back?" kaminari asked as his fists clenched tightly having kirishima sigh.

"hes stronger than me..." kirishima stated.

"i can figure out how to get rid of the scars later." kaminari said with a sigh as he lined up the collars reading the message. "lovers till death due us part... and till that point unseperateable..." kaminari read, first part on his collar second part on kirishimas collar. "thats why i asked you to meet me up here, i wanted to talk about the inscriptions on our collars." kaminari explained sheepishly not seeing mina chilling on one of the higher up planks eating pop-corn with a grin. "do you love me?" kaminari asked shyly.

"its sailing, its sailing!" mina thought her grin increasing.

kirishima stumbled over his words for a solid three minutes leaving kaminari in suspense. "i love you to." kirishima said, having kaminari let out a breath he didnt know he was holding. "but i cant..." kirishima said with a rueful sigh.

"wh-why not?" kaminari asked holding back tears starting to work on braiding something out of hay, mixing in a few flowers he grabbed on the way over to the barn, not noticing mina had started to panic.

"ive made it this far in guiding them to happiness it better not fail me now..." mina thought with an unoticable growl.

"bakugos in the way..." kirishima said with a slight growl at bakugos name. "he'll go to extreme lengths to get what he wants, and keep it his." kirishima explained. "if i break up with him and get together with you, itll only be putting you on his hitlist."

"i understand." kaminari said with a slight sniffle as he finished up the weave he was making. "but, dont forget that i'll always love you kiri." kaminari said with a sigh giving kirishima a short but sweet kiss. "a memento of my love." kaminri said handing the hay heart to kirishima who held onto it gently as kaminari hopped down rolling as he landed to prevent breaking his neck kirishima following suit leaving mina in the rafters.

"mission failed..." she said with a sigh hopping down and walking out of the barn following close behind the two, until they noticed.

"mina." kaminari said taking a deep breath. "did you witness that entire interchange of emotions between me and kirishima?" mina only chuckled sheepishly in response. "why?" kaminari asked.

"ive been guiding you two both to true happiness." mina explained. "i thought the messages on the collars would be enough." mina continued her explanation. "but i left bakugo out of the calculation, which was a dumbass move on my end." mina chuckled shyly at that part playing with her thumbs slightly.

"minas right." kirishima said wrapping an arm around kaminaris shoulders catching kaminari off guard. "itll be best if we get in a relationship, of course that includes you to mina." kirishima pulled mina in for a hug with his other arm smiling brightly. "just got to keep it secret thats all."

"it can be done." kaminari said. "every week on wednesday plus the weekends we meet up at this barn." kaminari said having the others nod in agreement to his offer. "perfect, lets head back now before aizawa gets worried."

"it has sailed..." mina thought smiling as she was carried on kirishimas shoulder kaminari on the other. "and i boarded last second." she grinned at the fact.
