AU for the headcanon thing: IiDeku time travel AU

I could use KB but…

1. Izuku and Tenya time travel together because of an accident. That’s it. They were out and about working then got hit with a new Quirk that threw them back in time. They ended up in their old bodies to. Right before Izuku meets All Might. Needless to say both are freaking out.

2. It’s Tenya who goes ‘fuck the timeline’ first when he sees Tensei walking. He proceeds to find where Stain would be next and slip the info along with how his Quirk works to the local heroes in the area. So they get the credit. Meanwhile Izuku catches on and posts a scathing mockery of his entire ideology that ends with ‘we all know there’s corruption why is he acting like a messiah who speaks the truth?’

3. Izuku just stops bothering with Bakugou. Luckily it’s after the roof comment so there seems to be a reason. Izuku also makes sure that the sludge villain doesn’t escape this time by pointing out jumping could fling it out of All Might’s pocket. Izuku just doesn’t talk to Bakugou or bother with him. He tells Inko what the blonde said. Could go two ways: Inko is horrified by it or she tries to dismiss it. Either would be fun. I think I’ll go with the first though. She is horrified and more so when Mitsuki tries to brush it off.

4. Because Izuku doesn’t bother with Bakugou, and because there was no saving him from the sludge villain, Bakugou is worse towards Izuku. Why isn’t this extra fawning over him? Why is he acting like this? This isn’t fair! Tenya, who ‘happened’ to meet Izuku while visiting Tensei’s friends, reports it when the blonde uses his Quirk on Izuku on public property. Bakugou gets in trouble with the law and leaves off Izuku. For now.

5. Izuku and Tenya ‘fall in love’ before UA and start dating. They’re adorable together. Everyone thinks they’re couple goals while the two plot how to limit the loss of life they had the first time around and how to ensure that things go better. They have diagrams, charts and an excel sheet. Nerds.

"Wait, is this..."

"The original Iida helmet," Iida Tenya said, enjoying the gleam in his friend's eyes as he presented it. "He was one of the second generation of heroes and began my family's legacy." The helmet reflected its age, battered and rusted. Tenya's inner neat freak wanted to clean it up, but the state of the helmet reflected its history.

Plus, based on Izuku's wide grin, he didn't seem to mind.

"I- you're willing to let me use this for class?" Izuku said, his hands moving forward and back, as if uncertain. He finally pulled them away, tucking them close to his chest as he lost his smile. "Tenya, I couldn't!"

"Of course you can," Tenya pulled Izuku's hands close, enjoying the feeling of them. They did look gnarly after years of breaking bones and training once One for All moved on, but they were Izuku's hands. "You are one of the people closest to my heart. If I couldn't trust you with a family heirloom that's just been sitting in storage, then why I am trusting you with my life?" He was tempted to chop to emphasis his point, but his hands were full.

Forget Izuku breaking it, if Tenya broke it, he would commit seppuku before his family and Izuku murdered him.

Izuku relaxed, slowly, and reached out.

The weight of the helmet didn't phase him.

For Heroically Green, any ideas of who realizes they tripped and fell in feelings first? Who wises up and realizes they brought plot to their porn? Are they open about the fact that they are FWB or is that a just for them? I ask that because once they talk about an actual relationship I'm wondering if they keep that quiet, not telling but not denying if people ask when they reach that point.

Tenya is the one to realize he’s in love after Izumi is kidnapped. He hears she’s gone and he just knows as the ocean roars in his ears. As his heart aches so hard. When they go to get her, he doesn’t protest. He needs to save her. Tenya stands in the crowd watching the show down with the blood, his heart in his throat, and thinks he’s will marry this girl one day.

He also makes the move by kissing her in public begging her not to do that again and it clicks for Izumi her feelings. They talk about it later to make sure they’re on the same page, but it’s after Kamino both realize they’re in love.

The only people who knew were them, Uraraka, Tsu, Hawks and All Might. Uraraka and Tsu are their best friends while Hawks is Izumi’s bestest friend, and All Might caught them making out in an alley. These guys were the only ones aware they were FWB not because they were ashamed but because it was no one’s business. (I am still poking at Todoroki for what I want with him)

The kiss was public so everyone knows. And let me tell you, some reactions aren’t pretty but they don’t care. They have each other.
