I love that Kira knows what dreamfasting is and Jen doesn’t. It means that they aren’t just born with that knowledge (why Jen doesn’t) but also shows that the podlings taught Kira about her culture, to the best of their abilities

Podlings had to go through the whole resistance thing basically just watching the genocide of the gelfling. They didn’t know Jen existed so to the best of their knowledge gelfling would completely die out when Kira died. And yet they still taught her about her people. And I love that

I really like the headcanon that Seladon is Kira's mother. I'm a very impressionable person so when I saw someone explained why they think Seladon and Gurjin were Kira's parents, you best believe I ran with that shit!! Thank you lady on tiktok!!!

thinking about how Mira and Kira have almost the exactly the same name.

Like, the gelfling who retroactively started the gelfling rebellion by being the first Gelfling to be drained has almost the exact same name as the gelfling who sacrificed herself and WAS LITERALLY STABBED BY A CRYSTAL ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Not to mention how 1. similar Jen and Rain look and 2. How the first thing Mira did on screen was steal from podling servants/slaves and Kira was raised by podlings!!!!!!

Adding Kira and Brea to the Avatar Au

Ok so I actually drew Brea a few months ago but I can’t remember if I posted her here or not, her design will be last. Since I think Kira is Brea’s daughter, I tried making them similar- and cause the Vapra live in the cold, they’re based off of like snow leopards 😭

As soon as I drew Kira I imagined she and Jen would be like Tsireya and Lo’ak. I’m not sure if they meet in a similar way though. Maybe Rian would take Jen and Deet to the mountains instead of the Sea 🤷🏻🤷🏻 regardless I have cute ideas for Kira and Jen in this au 🤭

And here’s Brea, I need to draw Seladon and Tavra as well 😓😓😓 anyways, Brea is pretty much the same in this au, still curious and still asking too many questions 😔 lemme know what you thought of these designs 🤭
