Like, the gelfling who retroactively started the gelfling rebellion by being the first Gelfling to be drained has almost the exact same name as the gelfling who sacrificed herself and WAS LITERALLY STABBED BY A CRYSTAL ‼️‼️‼️‼️

Not to mention how 1. similar Jen and Rain look and 2. How the first thing Mira did on screen was steal from podling servants/slaves and Kira was raised by podlings!!!!!!

Work was extremely slow today so I doodled this throughout the day! This was drawn on a small legal pad with a ballpoint pen, gel pen, and highlighter.

I was worried about messing up the composition as I really liked the first drawing of Rian carrying Mira in the Cloth of Desperation. I was careful about keeping everything cohesive with the limited palette. I only wished I chose I non-lined paper but it helped with the geometrical designs!

Rian waited outside of the castle for his Vapran beauty. There had been a couple challenges that day, but Rian was sure it would end on a much more positive note. He let out a short, happy, nervous laugh; thankful to even have made it to that point. He was not the best when it came to talking to girls in a way that let them know of his feelings for them, but thankfully Mira picked up on what he felt for her and initiated their relationship. And now, there he was, standing outside of the castle with a bellflower in hand, waiting on her so they could go on their very first date.

Minutes continued to pass by, and Rian almost went back inside to make sure she was alright. When he had turned to go in, she came up to him. "Hey, you."

He smiled slightly as she hugged his arm. "Hey you," he said back to her, causing a giggle to escape from her lips. He held up the bellflower to her with his free arm. "For you."

She gasped softly at the flower's beauty. "Oh, Rian. It's beautiful." She let go of his arm and took it in both hands, admiring it.

"The most beautiful flower in all of the Endless Forest," he told her. "Though its beauty has nothing on you, love." Somehow he had managed the courage to get that out. It made Mira blush, and Rian felt warmth in his own face and ears.

"Look at you being such a flirt," Mira giggled. "And I thought you didn't know how to talk to girls."

"I'm learning," Rian laughed. "Shall we go?"

"We shall," Mira beamed, holding one of her hands out to him. He gently took it and started his lead to their destination.

Rian led Mira to a beautiful spot near the river. It was a spot in the woods that didn't have many trees at all. Rian had decided to have a picnic with her- Gurjin's idea. In fact, it was Gurjin who had went ahead of them and got the picnic set up.

"How lovely," Mira smiled down at the basket.

"Gurjin helped," Rian laughed nervously. "I wasn't quite sure what to do. He suggested a picnic and I thought it would be a nice way for us to spend some time together. Just the two of us."

Her eyes met his again and she gave him a warm smile, and it made his heart flutter profoundly. Then she sat down and yanked him down with her as she fell back. His reaction made her giggle, and he couldn't help but laugh along with her. He'd landed on top of her, their faces inches apart. His eyes darted back and forth between her eyes and lips, and the look in her eyes confirmed that she had done it on purpose.

"Well?" She spoke through her giggles. "Aren't you going to kiss me? Or am I going to be the one to kiss first all the time?"

His face and ears turned red as he let out a happy sound, and then he gently connected his lips to hers. It was just a small kiss, only lasting for a moment before he pulled away and looked at her briefly. Then he suddenly got enough courage to reconnect their lips again, the kiss deeper and lasting longer this time.

It was their second ever kiss, or their third if you count that small one in between. Mira had initiated the first one. Thra knows that he probably never would have because of his nerves. She had seen right through him; it was like she could read his mind. He was dying to kiss her and she just knew it. When he never did, she had gotten tired of waiting and got the kiss herself.

In the modern day, Rian pulled away and a soft chortle escaped his smiling lips. He shifted to lay beside of her, supporting himself up with his elbow. She remained on her back, but looked at him. His eyes full of love and adoration. He reached his hand out and placed it on her cheek, rubbing it softly with his thumb.

"Mira?"

"Yes?"

He remained quiet for a moment, but eventually took a deep breath and spoke what he felt, full of nerves. "I-I love you."

Mira's ears flickered a bit. She knew that he loved her, though hearing it surprised her a bit. But Rian had been thinking about how she had initiated their first kiss and thought he should be the one to tell those three words first.

"I love you too, Rian. Very much."

He could feel his courage increasing with each passing moment. He let his hand rest on her side when she turned to face him, mirroring his position by supporting herself on her elbow the same way.

He swallowed hard, as if swallowing his nerves, before he continued. "Now that I have you in my life, I can't imagine a life without you in it."

She smiled softly. "I can't imagine a world without you in it, Rian."

He bit his lower lip and looked down at the ground for a moment before looking at her again. He shook his head softly. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Mira. You're everything to me."

Mira reached out to place a hand on his cheek then. "You'll never have to worry about that. I'll never leave you. Not intentionally, at least."

"Good," he smiled. "Now, how about we eat?"

Mira nodded. "I'm starving."

They laughed and sat up together, eagerly pulling contents out of the basket before they began eating. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The openness between the trees above them showed the sky changing colors as the Three Brothers began to set. The only sound they could hear was the flowing of the river and the distant noises from small creatures.

"Rian... thank you for this," Mira told him, dusting her hands off by brushing them against each other. "I've had a lovely evening."

"I have too," he agreed. "The first of many together, I hope."

"The first of many," she assured with a smile before leaning to give him a quick kiss on the cheek.
