haven’t written anything else for the fallout au/pipberry because i can’t figure out what mia would be doing in this universe. she must sacrifice/have sacrificed something big to fit her leaving hearst high behind/angering her father in high school story but nothing comes to mind.

I'm by no means an Ilia hater. He's a fantastic athlete. I'm not big on his programs this year specifically (short is a bit boring and the free feels more like an exhibition), but I've enjoyed the ones he had the past two seasons before (Succession and Malagueña were particularly strong).

But, and I will not deny this at this point, damn does watching him make me miss Nathan so much.

#nathan's controlled skating #the precision in which he executed his choreo #and just the language of movement #he was never flailing #even in his 'fun' choreo sequences #it was always much more difficult than he made it look #the admiration he had for ice dancers and the insistence he had for training with them for weeks on end every year #his hands and his pointed toes #he had the jumps but he also had that #you see a step sequence like caravan and the skill it takes to be deliberately off kilter and off balance there #it's not something you really see acknowledged #it's no wonder king of step sequences kurt browning was so in love with his skating #that's a trained ballet dancer for you #such a gifted athlete and people reduced him to quads and ugly shirts (and ok yeah the shirts are pretty ugly but still)#rn i am clinging onto yuma because i truly believe he is the best skater in the world #(my preferred chaos child is of course kao 😂)

I think it would be nice if the Raiders got some better writing. Often times it feels like it contradicts itself, and half the time they're all treated as the same faction but also like they're all separate.

I get the games need villains but it might help to know why every gang turned Raider.

Were some exiles? Did some choose it because they like stealing? Were some forced into it?

Were some born into it? It might make an interesting game to unravel why every gang did so. In Fallout 76 the original Raider gangs were wealthy families targeting other survivors

i agree, there's a lot to explore there! i like the snippets that we do get, but i want more lol

especially for like, the jackals or the fiends who really don't get any kind of development in that regard.

i'd love to hear your headcanon or other ideas for various gangs if you want to share.

#to explain: in caravan the only rule regarding deck building is that there cannot be duplicates from the same deck #but that means that if you are an irl player and have numerous packs instead of a wastelander with one pack and then disparate cards #you can build legal and really rude decks #my favourite consists of only sixes and kings #you play a six on any empty caravan as the seed #then you use kings to double and redouble them to bring your caravan to 24 every time #you can use kings offensively too to just double someone's pile and fuck em over
