She was the daughter of the king of the Fire Wheel Golden Cauldron Kingdom.
She was a princess with a somewhat reserved and at the same time intellectual attitude, however she was known for having a kind heart for which she was loved by her subjects.
She was forced to marry Sun Wukong, she didn't like him because she was in love with General Erlan Sheng, which is why she didn't like Wukong who was madly in love with her who always sought her approval by stealing gifts and doing stupid things but that only irritated her.
However, when he began to understand her more and stopped seeing her as a trophy, everything began to change for both of them and she began to value Wukong more, she ended up falling in love with that monkey and reciprocating him.

Evil Monkey AU and JTTW AU where Wukong escaped the punishment from the Buddha.
Disclaimer: in the future some details may change. I read jttw a long time ago and because of this could have forgotten some of the details.
This AU begins at the time when Sun Wukong was captured by the heavenly troops, thanks to Erlan-shen, after a commotion in the heavenly palaces.
It was also not possible to execute the monkey, and attempts to "smelt" the elixir of immortality ended in utter failure. But this time Wukong manages to get out of the oven a little earlier than in the original book, thanks to Taibai Jinxing ('Great White Golden Star'), who decides to help him, but oh his own terms. One of the terms is that after the escape, Wukong will not leave his cave on the mountain of "flowers and fruits".
Reluctantly, the Monkey King agrees and so that the people from the heavenly palaces would not notice the loss, Taibai Jinxing poured the elixir of immortality and a few other things that he had prepared in advance in order to simulate the death of a monkey.
Sun Wukong returned to his cave but he couldn't accept that he had lost so shamefully, so he decided to wait for the right moment to take full revenge for his disgrace to everyone in the heavenly palaces in the future.
So 500 years passed until he found out about the Tang Monk, who was chosen by the goddess Guanyin herself, so that Xuanzang personally went to the Buddha for books to the West and brought them to China.
The Monkey King realized that this was a great opportunity for revenge, so he was determined to kidnap the unfortunate monk.
The Monkey King found a monk who, as usual, got into some kind of trouble. Wukong decided not to interfere and watch him for a bit longer. Wukong is a master of transformations, so it was easy for him to follow the monk unnoticed.
As the days passed, the Monkey King began to understand why the Tang monk had such bad luck, and also noticed that after overcoming the trials, he had a sacred aura. Wukong decides to wait a little longer for this aura to strengthen.
When the monk has already had 3 disciples, the Monkey King finally decides to act.
He gets into a fight with 3 apprentices and defeats them. The students barely survive by running away.
Wukong knew after observing that the monk was also guarded by the spirits sent by Guanyin, so he immediately threatened them that if at least one of them left the monk and tried to report the situation to the goddess, he would kill them and Xuanzang without hesitation...
And that's it for today! Thank you for taking the time to read!

A revised snippet
@aquamiun might be onto something. But I'm gonna tag @musa-style for the giggles too-
“You’re right,” the star said quietly, as he stood over her. “You do need more luck, don’t you? But that’s what you have me for.”
“What?” she paused, looking up towards him.
He smiled, taking a step towards her as she could feel the warmth that radiated from him. “I can level the playing field for you. Just like how Allepac did for Erlan. I can make all of your wants and deepest desires a reality. Doesn’t that sound nice?”
She hesitated. It…did sound nice. But then wouldn’t anything sound nice after the meeting she’d had with the king and his advisors earlier?
“And isn’t it only fair that little Asha deserved to see at least one of her dreams come to fruition?”
She shook her head, as she rose to her feet“no…no. I think you’ve got it all wrong.”
“Do I?”
She looked away, back to the kingdom in the distance as she’d answered. “Yes…What I want to do and achieve, isn’t about me. It’s about the future and technology of Rosas. The people deserve better!”
“And who are you to decide what this better looks like?” he’d asked. Had it been anyone else, she may very well have been offended. But she could tell from the genuine curiosity of his tone that he hadn’t meant any harm by saying it. Or at least she’d hoped he hadn’t.
“Sure I’m not the king-,” she started.
“Thank God for that,” Cepheus sighed.
“But so many other countries have amazing technology. That I wish the people of Rosas had as well. Sure we might not need it as much as everyone else does because we have a powerful king. But the king won’t be around forever.”
“You’re right. He won’t. I suppose after he dies his heir will assume the throne as per tradition,” Cepheus nodded. “But hadn’t that been one of your wishes? To be involved with the prince?”
She’d felt her cheeks flame as she’d looked away, “being a princess was and still is any girl’s wish in Rosas. Power aside, a lot of people do like the prince.”
“I see,” Cepheus hummed. “You know, if you wanted, I could give him to you.”
She did a double take. “P-pardon? What do you mean by…give him to me?”
The star smiled. “I could make him fall for you-,”
She shook her head. “No, you can’t! You can’t just make people fall in love!”
“Really? Because I beg to differ. Now all you, or rather he, would need is a curse.”
“A curse?!” she shrieked.
“Yes, a rather potent one. What?” He’d asked taking note of the questioning look she’d given him. “Everyone knows that most if not all princes are either cursed or live in a kingdom that is cursed.” He tapped his chin thoughtfully. “Now then, should I use a large curse or a small one? Goodness, there are certainly a lot of options! Aren’t there?”
“WHAT?!” She screeched. “What are you talking about?!”
“Yeah you’re right. I should go with a big one. For good luck.” The star hummed thoughtfully, blissfully ignoring the shrieks and screams of the incredulous girl before him. “Maybe I should curse him so that he’s stuck as a bird…” His eyes turned to hers, practically blazing with laughter. “How does a chicken sound?”
“Nope! No! You are not cursing the prince to become anything!”
“Why not? Don’t you think you deserve to be a princess? Perhaps even a queen someday?”

Your Mother Loved You (Chapter 8)
Summary:
Legolas dives further into his lies to deceive those around him in order to obtain more of that which is forbidden. Erlan has an audience with the King to lay bare all he suspects of the prince, regardless if it destroys the friendship with Legolas. He would see his friend supported, healing, and resenting him rather than dead. Thranduil devises a plan to prove Erlan's claims while his heart breaks with the information brought before him.

Kinda love the idea of Virion unironically being one of the best suited to raise MC - at least in their younger years. I assume things get a bit messier as the politics do, especially if/when he does become king and his choice of heir becomes a legitimate factor given MC's heritage.
Speaking of, in that AU, how does Virion go about seeking the throne? Is Erlan still poisoned and by the same person (not sure what the spoiler rules are for this blog vs the patreon ^^;) or do things play out differently?
Also given Virion's...machinations in Vinia, is there any chance of MC meeting their extended family in this AU? Or is that bridge more or less burnt with Salyra's death?
I seriously love Virion as a character 😅 It's really a shame he doesn't feature more in the game because he's so fun and villainous that it's hard not to love him.
With heirs, there's no need for bloodlines etc and Virion's ancestors (Erlan and Irus' too) were once rulers from Ishari. Virion doesn't care for the war, he thinks Erlan trying to take control of Ishari because of a broken betrothal is stupid and a waste of resources. So like how he appointed Morden (an Ishari-born man) as the new general of the Blood Guard, he'd likewise name the MC his heir and anyone who disobeys will feel the full might of his displeasure.
Virion would try to get the throne through subterfuge, political scheming and by undermining Erlan's reign. Erlan is not a natural fighter nor is he particularly good at swordsmanship. But Virion is and that's why he has respect in the Blood Guard - he trained alongside them and has made friends with the senior soldiers and recruits so if anything, Virion wouldn't need poison, he'd just stage a coup. It's similar to how he exiled Irus in the main plot. With Erlan dead and a young, inexperienced prince at the helm, Virion convinced the nobles he'd be a better ruler.
The MC would probably learn about their extended family from Virion. He has spies everywhere, but he would have known a lot about Vinia on account of Elora's father's assassination. Once he discovers the MC's family, he'd go back and forth on telling the MC but would eventually tell the MC because despite his machinations for the throne, he does genuinely care about the MC in the AU story.

Read the latest ask and crying at the fact that "Irus would have tagged along without seeing why Erlan would need to be informed" 😂 all this effort for nothing.
"Finally! I've separated MC from Irus so now- what. Irus is where???"
Pls what's Erlan's reaction once he finds out? Since he at least holds Ahlf in high regard, would he ever accept MC? 🤔 I'm guessing Ahlf himself still doesn't really accept Irus since nothing would change that Irus really could still turn out like his father
Irus isn't very good at obeying rules 😆
Erlan does hold Ahlf in high regard - I didn't want to include it in the AU because I realised I was getting too invested, but in the AU, Ahlf is the one who kills Salyra in exchange for proving his loyalty to Erlan and to safeguard the MC. Erlan would accept the relationship between Irus and the MC after Ahlf talks him into accepting it and if the MC can prove to be a beneficial asset to the kingdom.
In this case, Ahlf accepts Irus. He hates himself more and the only reason he's hesitant about a relationship between the MC and Irus is because he fears it'll make the MC a target of political scheming due to their 'low' status and Ishari blood 😬

Oh how i want that au become a real thing, like im so happy Alf in MC life againnn
Also speaking of Alf, do you think many nobles will try to court him? Lol
I miss Ahlf too 😔 He's always so fun to write since he's an emotional rock. There definitely would have been nobles interested in courting him, either for his proximity to Erlan or because they found him to be an attractive, potential husband but Ahlf would have rejected them. Mostly, his focus is keeping the MC safe (they're still an outsider) and also, he's hung up on Salyra in this timeline 😅

Read the AU and am now gently holding on to the fact that Ahlf calls us "little lamb" 🥺🥺 still emotionally constipated tho 😬
But back to Irus, I cannot believe that the servants caught us and word made it back to our dads like ????? The way I would perish if my dad knew anything more than surface-level about my love life
+ Erlan in the main timeline wonders if MC and Irus would get along but then disapproving when we do get along really well in this AU... smh pick a lane, my guy
There was another side story where it features Ahlf's POV and that was his nickname for the MC before he left Ishari 😅 Plus it was easier to use since I kept the MC nameless in the AU.
Oh yes, you can only be so discreet before someone notices something 😅 Ahlf and Erlan have known for a while although most of the court sort of understands what's going on between the MC and Irus, considering Irus isn't bothered who knows about his relationship with the MC.
The difference between the main timeline and the AU one is the war was won here. Erlan has had plenty of time to know the MC as a child and watched them grow up beside Irus. Unfortunately, the MC reminds Erlan of Salyra who's now dead in the AU story. He's also displeased not because the MC and Irus are close but more because they're romantically involved. Erlan had hoped for a political marriage between Irus and Elora, even in the AU story.

It is true that Erlan declared war on Ishari out of pettiness, wounded pride and misguided duty to protect Cyre from the Ishari’s gods… but we should all remember that it was Salyra who brought Erlan to that point by meddling in his marriage alliance. He wanted to remove the temporal power from the spiritual faction in a pacifistic way, but nope Salyra’s gods induced vision -that she wasn’t capable to interprete correctly- broke it so war it was…
If we really stop to think about it you could blame -other than Erlan- the gods, Salyra’s attempt to stop the war actually causing it, or just fate if you believe that it was always meant to be regardless of anyone actions. So Erlan has half, a third of the blame here (in case that wes what the gods wanted, if they are actually real in universe) or none at all lol.
But again Salyra is a narcissist hypocrite sooo to her probably is all Erlan fault, and she was totally justified in creating political instability that has caused: a continental war; the death of many innocent (her baby-daddy included ); immense sorrow to the many who survived the ravings of war (her abandoned child included).
As you can see Salyra was totally justified in her hypothetical selfish and reckless attempt to right her past mistakes and find relief from her guilty conscience by eliminating the evil tyrant. /j 💀
I actually love to hate these two characters they are so complex and stupid at the same time ahsbhdjd. This is a testament to your good writing dear author 😍
It's definitely a concoction of different people, bad decisions and a lot of anger, hate and pride that created the war that began. Of course, some would say it's fate because the MC meeting Irus just feels too perfect to be a mere coincidence. On the other hand, who has ever seen the gods walking amongst those in the game world?
Thank you so much for your kind words! I love writing about all these complex relationships and dynamics between the older characters - especially the parents. It's really fun getting to explore their different views on how everything started and needless to say, it's affected everyone around them in a very big way.
Thank you for playing and for the support ❤️️

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Irus dad the reason Ishari town's are getting burnt down and the blood guard being nothing more than vicious dogs? I can't exactly blame Salyara for taking him out if she did.
Exactly, it's all a matter of perspective 😋

Will there be a way, some variable that keeps track of choices, that will make Irus a good leader, to like leadership or to make him more comfortable with the role of King?
I'd like my man to stop stressing 😔. And to have some confidence—
Yes, the variable is called $irusLead_style 😆 And it comes into play a bit in Chapter 10 depending on your choices but it also gives a bit of flavour text here and there. The leadership variable tracks how aggressive, diplomatic or neutral he responds to foes. The more aggressive he is, the more likely he's going to respond viciously towards enemies and make decisions that will come off as more military-focussed than if he was diplomatic and prefer negotiations and treaties. The neutral style uses both, so it's a more pragmatic approach.
That said, Irus is never going to be comfortable being king until he's had a few years of actually wearing the crown before he feels like he's ready to lead people. He became Erlan's successor only in the year leading up to Erlan's death so before then, Virion was very much going to become king. Irus wasn't exactly groomed or pressured to become the king so he spent most of his days just doing whatever he wanted. Becoming king is something Irus never wanted but he's doing it because of the war and because he knows Virion isn't the best choice to lead.

Note
I think it will be more dramatic If Prince Irus's mother who is Solus's priestess was high priestess in normad tribes because she want follow true Solus or she just want to run away from King Erlan so here is my question what if Prince Irus's mother become high priestess to normed tribes what will Prince Irus react when he see her again? (Also i think MC going to understand Prince Irus's feeling in this case because Salyra become high priestess to Ishari too) sorry from talking nonsense.
You are off on the mark. The gang return to Cyre in the final part of the game for a reason 😉
