FANS OF CLIVE CUSSLER'S THE CUTTHROAT WILL LOVE THE RIPPER LIVES BY KEVIN MORRIS
ABOUT THE CUTTHROAT:
Isaac Bell may be on the hunt for the greatest monster of all time in this riveting action-adventure novel from #1 New York Times–bestselling author Clive Cussler.
The year is 1911. Chief Investigator Isaac Bell of the Van Dorn Detective Agency has had many extraordinary cases before. But none quite like this.
Hired to find a young woman named Anna Pape who ran away from home to become an actress, Bell gets a shock when her murdered body turns up instead. Vowing to bring the killer to justice, he begins a manhunt, which leads him into increasingly more alarming territory. Anna Pape was not alone in her fate—petite young blond women like Anna are being murdered in cities across America.
And the pattern goes beyond the physical resemblance of the victims—there are disturbing familiarities about the killings themselves that send a chill through even a man as experienced with evil as Bell. If he is right about his fears, then he is on the trail of one of the greatest monsters of his time.
ABOUT THE RIPPER LIVES:
JACK THE RIPPER'S REIGN OF TERROR CONTINUES
The world’s most elusive and terrifying serial killer returns in the 10-part Victorian gothic murder mystery series, The Ripper Lives. Dripping with 19th-century atmosphere and intrigue, each thrilling, suspense-filled chapter ends with a shocking cliffhanger that compels the reader forward. The fear builds as the historical horror story unfolds, culminating in an explosive, mind-bending conclusion.
The Ripper Lives is a sequel to the true story that commences after the slayings of the Canonical Five. As a secretly appointed task force works to bring the butcher to justice under the radar of the newspapers, the unsuspecting public believes the threat has subsided. But while hiding in the shadows, the serial killer's compulsion to mutilate has grown exponentially stronger, and for Whitechapel, the harrowing nightmare of tension and terror has only just begun.

Whispers in Verse - #Poetry for Stillness and #Mindfulness
I’m honored by this incredible 5-Star review of my poetry book, Whispers in Verse, and simply had to share it with you. Whispers in Verse reads as if written on the wings of angels. These poems touch the soul. I found myself reading many of them over and over while I let the feeling of the words and phrases wash over me. Every poem in this volume of poetry has a calming understanding effect.…

Even though my book is ancient Egyptian historical fiction (I tried to make it as accurate to the time period as possible), I still feel like Steven Grant.
Maybe it's a sign I need to rewatch Moon Knight. Anyways, Aoh is available to read for FREE on Amazon with Kindle Unlimited!
Why do I feel like Steven Grant is me trying to explain Ancient Egyptian history to people who don't care or don't care to know details other than "it's cool"?

I don't really post on here, so hi?? What's up? Greetings and salutations! Behold! Etc.
I'm an indie author headbutting a brick wall against ✨algorithms✨ so here I am to pester you lot!
Eyes of Violet will be a seven-part series by the end of 2026. The first three volumes are out now, available on Amazon and Waterstones 🎉 I've added the blurb to the first one in the images with ALT text.
I've gone the traditional way with the covers, hand-drawn and painted with watercolours. I am no van Gogh but I am mighty proud of them! 😁
Magic and mystery, 12 years+/YA typically, although my 82-year-old nan has read and enjoyed them 😂
In order:
Eyes of Violet (purple!)
Eyes of Violet: Damian (blue!)
Eyes of Violet: Finn (green!)
Book 4 will be out in May, so watch this space 😉
Happy reading!

Humans Are Weird: Energy Drinks (excerpt)
“Kai?” Zork'ak had been learning human sayings and was searching for one. “Are you okay?” He believed that was a more informal way to ask after their well-being.
“Yeah, yeah.” Her eyes were quickly looking around the room instead of focused on Zork’ak or the tablet. “Just a bit tired.”
“Did your restorative cycle complete correctly?” Zark'ak noticed how Kai’s movements were not as fluid as normal. Humans needed sleep more than more creatures, and yet, they seemed to be very resistant to it.
“Yeah. I mean, sleep is overrated right?”
"No.” Zork'ak was unaware of any scientific research that proved that sleep was indeed not needed for humans. “Your body requires it to properly function.”
She shrugged. “You can get by without it.”
“From our studies, it has adverse effects on your cardiac system, your memory, and your reflexes. It can cause negative impacts on your cognitive abilities, which inhibits your current work.”
Kai reached across her desk for a can, and Zork'ak noticed two more near it as she leaned her head back, drinking its contents and throwing it down next to the others.
“What is this drink you are consuming rapidly? Do humans have a medical enhancer for lack of sleep when necessary?”
Kai reached for her tablet, swiping her hand across the screen. “Kinda like that. It’s an energy drink.”
“May I observe?”
Kai handed Zork'ak the empty can without taking her eyes off the screen. Zork'ak scanned the can, eyeing the other two knocked over on Kai’s desk. He knew that Carrie was skilled at recreating Earth delicacies and many nonperishable items had been brought onto the base. But this was not safe.
“This contains many ingredients that are quite harmful for your body, and you have ingested six servings.”
“Mmm.” Kai did not appear to be listening.
Zork'ak took a step forward, touching Kai’s shoulder. “I am concerned for your health.”
She looked up then, a small smile on her face. Her eyes and the lines around her mouth and forehead looked unusually unhealthy. “Occasionally, we will get little sleep, and, yes, energy drinks are awful for you, but sometimes it’s worth it. We can do anything as long as we don’t make it a habit.”
“You are telling me that your species can recover from occasional ingestion of chemicals and lack of an extremely necessary action?”
“I mean,” Kai looked out the window, “we can really recover from anything if you do it right.”
