More specifically, as of very recently, I research ways to remove excess CO₂ from the atmosphere. Because even if we stopped all emissions tomorrow, atmospheric CO₂ levels are still nearly at 406 ppm, and that’s much too high. For the past 10,000 years, the average has been 280 ppm.

It's a gym bag pattern, and it's Free!

Is it perfect? No

Is it easy to follow on how to make it without instructions? Uh....maybe?

For those who are new to this blog, welcome!  I hope you enjoy your visit, and the shitposts.

I wanted to ensure people were clear that this is an OC RP blog.  Also to let you all know a bit about the person behind the Marvel universe based persona.

There are certain things I may make mention of that may make my posts have a bit more realism.  My OC does have some real life elements, or experiences involved.  Having details and depth behind a character makes them more relatable to the reader, and makes them come across as slightly more real.

But then again, what character doesn’t have real life elements embedded in a back story, mannerisms, motivations, or personality?

To clarify, I am IRL 40 years old, live in Toronto in Canada,  am married, have a job, and own a cat. Sadly, I’ve never been to college or university (it costs way too much, and I don’t know what I’d take at this point if I could afford it)  Also, in text format, I almost never post my real name.  I grew up in the era of never posting your real name online, and my real name is a little too easily searched cause it’s so rare....so I just don’t.

I can also IRL sew, knit, crochet, and spin yarn as hobbies.  I may also occasionally showcase my art, or knitting on this blog (and on my art blog at @kieraoonacraftsandart or my main blog at @kieraoona)

What makes my character seem more realistic, is that I also have many years of RP experience including LARPing, a little bit of D&D, with a few life experiences thrown into the mix, along with politics of the time while growing up, or about certain current events.

How did this all get started with me doing RP shitposting?  I got my start into the Marvel universe, by reading the comics back in the mid ‘90s with one of my best friends at the time.  Primarily X-men, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Generation X, with a little bit of Dark Horse, and a little Batman thrown into the mix.   I had a tendency to borrow my friend’s comics, or read them at their place, cause I could never really afford to buy them on my own.

I also attempted to re-draw characters. Art always was my fave subject, and doing re-draws helped me to learn more outside of school.

(above) Just as an example, this is a re-draw I did, from one of Julie Bell’s paintings of Lilandra.  This was in one of the Marvel Masterpiece card series, and I think I did this back in....uh...1996?  (I’d have to see if I still actually have this and look it up)

(above) Or how about some simple Steven Universe art done in Sharpie for Inktober? (from 2017)

So, sorry for the long post, and “Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”, or in this case, the woman pulling the puppet strings.
