My Bedroom in 2007 - 2008

I made the Nirvana Smiley with paper and some markers lol. I was in my emo phase still at this point but u can tell was phasing out around this time. I went into a 1990’s grunge phase in 2008 - Early 2009. At some point in 2008, I started hating emo scene cause it seemed so fake around that time. Especially since the people at school that made fun of me for it, decided they wanted to be emo like it became a cool “trend” so kind of became a joke to me. I never got into it cause it was “cool” it was my mindset. As Kurt Cobain said “I’d rather be dead then cool” I was a pretty angst teen. lol That was my first guitar too. I got for my 12th birthday, my parents even gave it to me early when I was still 11 cause they were proud I wanted to play. I picked it up cause the band silverchair. They were my favorite band and were around my age when they started playing. They were my world. Still one of my favorite bands of all time.🖤
