I like to think Black Star and Torpor are both just watching curiously. Because the normalcy displayed is so strange. Blackstar mudders that that is the luckiest bullshit in the world. Just diamond dimensions? They don't get that stuff here. Black Star just shrugs. Saying that so far the dimensional still he's witnessed is magical. If they want to try the technology they can. He just doesn't know how it works. That's a question for Jack. Apparently his world is more magical than theirs. They must have really differencing worlds.

(Oh damn it. Yeah it's going to be a fickle change. Might use the soul explanation a little bit more. I think we talked about it in DMs which is why we can't find a thread. I don't know why I always thought Jack opened a portal. I think it's because in one thread he was going to attempt to open a portal. Either way it is going to be a bit of a fickle change. At least the souls can fill in a lot of the gaps.)

Sun will be very confused to find a tiny eclipse. Do they serve this kid? They might fall into that advisor rule. Where are he is still being ruled over but holds a lot more power because they are a kid.

Here's my lovely science edutainment bot Sun! I'm not. going to be focusing on this au until after Halloween at least, but I am in love with it

you know the drill more details under the cut!

The Pizzaplex is now a Kids Science Centre! Chock full of fun, interactive, learn-through-play exhibits designed to get kids interested in science! With their main sponsor being Fazco, they have a pretty big emphasis on robotics and computers, though they have a wide range of exhibits to appeal to interests of all kinds of interests

Each main exhibit has its own animatronic mascot, with Freddy being the main mascot of the whole centre. I haven't decided on specifics for the glamrocks just yet-

As for the boys, Moon runs shows in the planetarium while Sun does science experiment demonstrations like elephant tooth paste. Since they're mostly for shows and demonstrations, the boys don't interact with guests nearly as much as the glamrocks do.

Either they both used to run the planetarium (possibly in one body? I haven't decided) until the higher ups decided to replace the humans running the experiment shows with an animatronic, OR it was always like this I'm still deciding because it WILL change how I characterize them

Anyways I have the most info about Sun because he was just going to be an oc before this au was revealed to me in a vision so-

He has a bit of a stutter problem after an ill-advised tesla coil demonstration fried his circuits just a touch. It's not bad enough to be fixed but he is self conscious about it.

He makes his demonstrations into performances! Telling little stories about how he used to work at a zoo and really DID need to make elephant toothpaste while mixing everything together to draw out the big fun expansion of foam, before going into an age appropriate explanation of the chemistry involved. If asked to explain some science thing that isn't part of his scripts, he can struggle with keeping it child-friendly, going into too far much detail. He's just full of information!

the 'glass' part of his glasses are actually screens! Allowing his eyes to move around and emote. the little dots in the corners are the cameras he sees out of.

He's mildly less distressed by mess than his canon counterpart. As long as its part of the show (and doesn't get on HIM), messes are part of the fun! Extremely sensitive to his things being moved, however. It stems from his safety protocol, some of the chemicals he works with are legitimately dangerous, like liquid nitrogen, and so it could be bad news if somethings out of its place!

the longevity peach ice cream float is a peach soda topped with peach soft-serve ice cream and a mini longevity peach bun. longevity peach buns are based off the peaches of immortality in Chinese mythology. the buns are served at birthdays (especially for the elderly) and are usually filled with lotus paste or red bean paste.

And then you get a random Bean Bloodmoon and Dadcode comic cause UH i was going in a direction with the current canon but halfway through realized I need a bit more to handle that one. I'd need to think about his resurrection, how and why PLUS we already know Bloodmoon would be disgusted with KC's pacifism (a most in character reaction from Bloodmoon I would think). Not to mention KC owning up to just... leaving all three of his kids. Bloodmoon needs patience, to learn and to be handled with such. This would be way after Eclipse's return so KC has a better understanding of owning up to his kids. He's not so very proud of his past self though (the frame he was holding is suppose to be something from that arc in the base.). Anyway, I'm just thinking how KC literally handles them as children here, making sure there's a set meal schedule, they're actually not opposed to confronting KC's actions although in this case Bloodmoon just couldn't wait an extra five minutes for some ham, which KC isn't too impressed with. Bloodmoon also takes things by the literal word.

The KEs do not use their Star, so everyone gets simpler gifts from them.

Ravenous gets a collection of facemasks and a bunch of plushies and chew toys.

DH Earth gets several homemade plushies of herself and Ravenous (everyone made one, and Toddlunar and Babyblood’s are easily identified) and an Ikea so she can better customize her room.

Blue Moon gets nanomachine cookies and giant blankets sized for them. Plush plushies of everyone except Earth.

Black Star gets a blank blueprint sheet, with a sticky note saying “Design your own body, and I’ll have Computer build it” from Mama Sun, and a himself-themed computer, headphone, gamer chair, and controller from everyone.

Again, Blue Moon and Black Star are completely caught off guard by Christmas gifts. As it has completely skip their mind plus the gifts are so big. The kind of have forgotten that Christmas is usually about giving personalized gifts.

Ravenous is completely clueless as to what Christmas is. So they just kind of take it like a child they figure it's a nice gift for no other reason other than getting a gift.

Ravenous is happy to have a collection of different types of face masks. Happily picking out their favorite and putting it on. They also deeply enjoy the plushies. Adding them to their pile of fluffy things. Also testing out the chew toys. Hopefully made out of a metal that was discovered or made to not melt to their saliva.

DH Earth is happy with the plushie collection. Happily laughing at the different levels of quality. Placing them up on a shelf for display. She is happy to customize her own room with the IKEA. Probably shifting it to something less nature-based and more dark city based. Also probably noticing that she's a collector.

Blue Moon will happily eat the nanite cookies. It is not common that they come across something sweet that doesn't scream. The fact they have blankets that fit them makes them extremely happy. Probably settling into them pretty quickly. Also enjoying the plushie collection. (Plus it is helpful that there is not one of Earth.)

Black Star is quietly very happy about the fact he gets to design a new body. (Or at least feel like he is) Happy to go against the dragons ideas and do something he wants for himself. Quietly setting out on a table and starting to design. (I will figure that out later.) The gamer setup is appreciated. Especially since it makes it easier to play with family. Cautiously asking mama Sun It's the family can have a gaming session in the afternoon.

(What if after a nightmare, he gets scared of mac. Then mac was hurt but then, purely optimistic, they hug cuz wukong and mac dont wanna be scared of eachother or smth)

Macaque quickly notices how Wukong is scared of his fur colour- (cause black fur = ink demon) so he starts not using his fur glamour around Wukong so he doesn't get scared. Over time Wukong does get better with dealing with dark colours (and glory blues-) but especially at the start he's terrified whenever Macaque touches him without taking off his glamour-

My biggest pet peeve with 'The day the world eclipse', and don't get me wrong I adore the au.. Maybe a bit more than the separated twins one, but how could you give Macaque all the artistic thing when in canon LMK Wukong is the better artist :,)

That is alright! I had a plan for that to why Wukong doesn't bring it up that much- cause he definitely is an artist himself~ he just has reasons he doesn't push for MK "being like him" when it comes to art and pushes more to bring up Macaque's artistic side. Cause let's be honest, this entire family is a bunch of little artists~
