had to get out of the izumi tag cuz i saw one too many people calling her abusive. i am going to lose it.
#if i have to hear about the island one more time#they were supervised !!! mason was there!!!#and also the people being like#‘she hits them’#she is their martial arts instructor…?#that is her job?#come to my kickboxing class and call my coach abusive next time ok#also i think some people just need to read the manga#like she has a first aid kit with her at all times and she teaches them to not be reliant on alchemy#and all the kids in dublith ADORE her#she is incredibly kind and incredibly warm#and the parallels between her losing her and child and the elrics losing their mother are intentional#they were able to find each other#and she calls them her family#because they ARE#she’s the first person who allows them to really grieve for what they did#because it’s a grief that she shares#anyway ok i’m done i’m done i’m sorry 🫡

for my 30th birthday I've finally decided I'm going to lay the groundwork for the person I really want to be... i've talked about this with my therapist a lot but I used to exercise near daily, and go to events and protests by myself, take care of my garden and bake and crochet and then 2020 happened and then I got into a codependent relationship and now... I don't do any of that stuff 😔 so since I'm out of work for the next however many days, I'm gonna take the baby steps and start doing that stuff again

Made the mistake of checking out a kickboxing class online and putting in my email and number to see their price list and now they wont stop fucking sending me emails and texts about joining LIKE JESUS GIVE ME SOMETIME TO CONSIDER MY OPTIONS

Like, you couldn't be any farther from the truth, mate, I swear.
#you're looking at the softest girl alive honestly#the first time I went for kickboxing classes I legit cried because of the pain#never grew up athletic or sporty in any aspect of the word#I don't like sports though sports seem to like me#which honestly makes no sense#is it my physique that makes them ask what sports I'm involved in?#is it the fact that I like keeping my hair short and messy and a little boyish?#is it my dressing style being plain and simple and mostly sweatshirts?#I guess I'll never know#so many people at church have asked me about what sports I'm involved in#and every time I tell them no I'm not sporty *at all* they gape at me like I grew a second head or somersaulted right in front of their eye#(no scratch somersault - I can barely do a simple tuck and roll without panicking)#it feels like everything athletic keeps calling to me like a siren or something#it's so weird especially since I'm more brain than brawn yet everybody asks me about the nearly non-existent brawn side#hmm what does it all meannn#look!! words!!
