can be pretty hyperactive, forgets things regularly (even important things, forgot he turned into a heartless in kh1), distractable, later on he seems to have some problems with emotional dysregulation. hes constantly called lazy by his friends but as soon as hes doing something he likes he has all the energy in the world, and also tends to dismiss his own intelligence despite actually being pretty smart, both of which are things that i think are decently common with undiagnosed adhd

This may be projecting since this is one of my favorite tropes but Houndfur seems like a “living weapon” kind of character, with what their name being ‘hound’ and how their job is apparently to ‘dispose’ of cats. I dunno, they just give that vibe.

In the Story we're all familiar with, once Destiny Islands fell, Sora was cast into Traverse Town and found by Donald & Goofy, and ultimately became a Keyblade Wielder like no other.

But What If... Sora awoke somewhere else? What if Sora awoke in the World That Never Was?

About this blog:

Both an askblog (where I will try to write/ draw replies to asks in character) and a roleplay where I will reply to other muses in any of my characters. I play my own Original Characters that I've written in a fix that's set in the Kingdom Hearts Universe. I mainly want to rp with KH centric blogs (including other OCs), but I'm also open to other fandoms if I know them well enough, I just might be a bit slow with replies.

About the writer:

My name is Noah, I go by he/it, I'm 25 years old and I'm currently studying with the goal of gaining a bachelors in creative writing. I write fanfiction as a hobby as well, including a Kingdom Hearts fic that expands on the current lore using new characters. I guess you could think of it as a sort of side story or fun addition to accompany the canon.

About the muses:

I have seven main characters that I will write for this blog; Zorya, Yoru Taiyo, Noir, Glaucia, Lunaria and Nuaia. I may also include side characters from both the canon games and fanfic when answering asks, but rps will centre on the main seven.

These seven characters are all friends who work together to uncover mysteries within the various worlds, while also holding their own motives, dreams and allegiances. However, they all have found a home in Radiant Garden, acting as apprentices of sorts to an ex-royal guard turned detective; Lorena.

Under her guidance, the seven friends have found a place to work together, feel at home and slowly but surely piece together the puzzle that had brought them all together to begin with.

Age: I am okay with whatever age, but I would prefer adults (18 or over at least). I won't dismiss or turn away writers or potential asks because of age though.

Themes: I will try to keep this blog user friendly and open for all ages, but I will delve into the same themes of Kingdom Hearts which can become quite dark, especially in regards to the in-between games. As such, I may write about subjects like: abuse, child grooming, manipulation, death, grief, mental health issues, childhood trauma and child soldiers/ exploitation of children. While I'll mostly just allude to these in the same way Kingdom Hearts does, I still want to remind people to take care of themselves and mute certain topics if they are triggering.

-> Lastly, an introduction to each character will be attached below, so please refer to this if need be. Though, of course, I do plan to introduce my characters in-rp and through asks anyway, so don't worry too much about reading all the introductory stuff.

It's absolutely a thing where the fandom just became completely obsessed with Riku, and I'm so baffled by it.

It's something that I noticed a lot beginning from KH3, this constant need to make everything in the series revolve around him. Even Sora's trademark necklace is actually Riku's childhood gift to him in fanon

Yeah, me too. Especially since, uhhhh... I've never been that passionate about Riku

Because you're right, I also noticed it a lot more around the start of the KH3-era. Like, sure, people have always loved Riku but he used to share that position with other characters (such as Axel and Roxas) and now it's just all Riku. And I don't??? Get it? Because I thought he was at his most boring in KH3. Part of me has always kind of chalked it up to recency bias, i.e. I just remember it more because my examples happened recently (*COUGH*specific theory*COUGH*) but it's always been a thing, so it's interesting to hear that I'm not the only one who noticed it spike up with KH3

And it's just weird. You could say a lot about why, like the possibility that some people just checked out after KH3, leaving the big Riku fans who want to see where his story goes as a larger part of the fanbase. But they're also everywhere. I swear, any time I like a silver-haired, stoic male character in something there will inevitably be people chiming in that he's "just like Riku" when the character's actual personality and role in the story are nothing like Riku. So not only do I have to deal with these people making everything in KH about Riku, but they'll go and make things that have nothing to do with KH about Riku! I just can't get away from him! And I just...
