Random Kadaj headcanon, but I see him being a total carnivore, especially for fish! And I like to think he acts more gremlin-like around anyone he’s more trusting of or close with!

Kadaj is a little fiend for salmon. it's his favorite food ever. he loves any meat in general, but salmon? he is ALL OVER IT. It's his entire diet. Just salmon. And other meats. Vegetables? He will physically recoil from them like fucking Kermit the frog when his face scrunches up. but salmon is his one true love and he will devour it at every given opportunity.

When Kadaj is comfortable with someone, he morphs from an off-putting, brusque young man to a feral little goblin. He'll make jokes in poor taste, he'll drape over them like a lanky blanket, and he'll nag them to no end. But annoying people is his way of showing love. If he puts in the effort to deliberately find you and jeer at you before clinging to you like a koala, it means you're someone he trusts.
