I finished the bebé blanket with a little scallop edge. I think it turned out very sweet (and very small for how much GD effort I put into it)

Wow I went to reblog the first wip picture of this cardigan so you can see the progress but turns out I never posted it. Well, here

I did a midway wash and block because this is frogged yarn (ramen noodle consistency) and I wanted a better sense of the measurements. I mean, look at the difference.
I might be short on yarn so my plan is to do the sleeves to the cuffs and then go back and add as much length to the body as I can. Then in the meantime go pick up another skein or two so that if I need more and the dyelots are vastly different, it'll just be in the cuffs and button band and hopefully intentional looking.
This pattern is called Margeaux and the yarn is Brooklyn tweed Arbor rescued from a previous cardigan I never wore

I have two ongoing projects for which I possibly severely underestimated my yarn yardage. Uhh. One I'm not worried about but the other I can probably get the yarn but there is 0% chance the dyelots will match. All this amounting to reasons to travel to the big fancy yarn store (yaay)

120 hours and a half of crocheting; 50,400 stitches; 2,9 kg of yarn. It measures 1.5mx2m. The most slavic thing I’ve ever made is finally done.
Validate me pls.

The outrageously popular Musselburgh hat pattern, I have to admit, is worth the hype. The beginning sucked, but once you get through that it's a mindlessly knit tube. Good shit 👌
The yarn probably has a lot to do with my satisfaction though, it is Woolfolk Tynd ($$) such a delight to touch and wear.

I just want to say, any time I'm having a bad day, looking at the project pages on ravelry of this pattern and seeing dozens of adorable kitties in their warm cozy hoodies that they absolutely hate wearing makes things so much better.

Just curious, so far I've only ever used circular needles without magic loop but that's only because I haven't learned other methods yet

I started one of the famous Musselburgh hats. The pattern was gifted by a friend, otherwise I would not have bought it. The most advanced piece of knowledge needed is how to calculate size from gauge and the pattern provides a handy dandy chart--not gonna lie, it's nice and probably worth the 6 bucks... just cast on and go. Otherwise if you already have a hat pattern you know and like (and want to wear doubled) just knit two of em tip to tip 🤷‍♀️

Chinook Winds pattern from the autumn 2024 Pom Pom magazine. I love it! The fringe took forever and I refuse to add any to the backside

It's small! Patrick can use it as a pillow though

But I bet with big big yarn it can be made human sized

What the heck, this is so adorable. Free pattern, scrap happy. My orange yellow and purple are all from the same striped sock yarn. Took me like an hour to make too.
