It's small! Patrick can use it as a pillow though
But I bet with big big yarn it can be made human sized
What the heck, this is so adorable. Free pattern, scrap happy. My orange yellow and purple are all from the same striped sock yarn. Took me like an hour to make too.

This one got a few new notes yesterday and I just wanted to say I wore this earlier in the week and it made me so happy 💜
Every time I remember I have this sweater I get so excited. It's one of my favorites but for some reason is always at the bottom of the pile. It fits so well and looks impressive but it wasn't hard to make, just slow.
Ennis Pullover from Interweave's 100 Knits book. Yarn is Knitpicks swish dk, I believe. It's knit in pieces and seamed--something I highly recommend everyone try at least once. You can even send the pieces to me, I love assembling ;)

Once again I've made it to the sleeve stage. Yaaay.
This one is called Chinook Winds and it will have fringe added to the sections without bobbles so I simply had to have it

I needed a bandaid at work and in the closet there was a box of branded bandaids from the 1998 Godzilla film. They were literally crumbling. How did they exist in there for 26 years. There are people working here who are younger than those bandaids.
#not knitting#baffling circumstances#godzilla 1998#was that the one with the cover of bowie's heroes on the soundtrack?#it was! and silverchair had a song on it too#silverchair my loves

My favorite thing about wool yarn is that there's just random pieces of dried grass in it sometimes

Cabin Shawl. I've been on a finishing spree which is kinda bad because now I gotta find things to start
oh nevermind, found the motivation to get these towels on the loom. I got two cones of 8/2 cotton I wanted to try some clasped weft with. Challenging, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.

Here's the sweater the cat tried to abscond with. Washing and blocking made the fabric soooo lovely. This pattern is called The Classic, a free one from Espace Tricot. I still have half a cone of the wool and most of a skein of the mohair, wonder if it's enough for a hat.

I finished another sweater and put it on a shelf for the night intending to wash and block it at a later date and the orange CRIMINAL in this house somehow got hold of it and dragged it downstairs where it was chewed and defiled
I'm pretty sure it survived except for a mysterious loop that got pulled and I can't figure out its anatomy. It's in a drawer now so unless the creature grows thumbs it should be safe while I'm at work

Whew, I used up every inch of yarn I had for this and it didn't turn out awkwardly sized. The pattern is called Daily Sweater. The neckline is a little wider than I'd like but it suits the boxy cropped look. Should be cute over a dress.

Wanted a small crossbody bag, couldn't find one I liked, made one myself. The strap is handmade from etsy and is genuinely so much more beautiful than the thing I made... But I'm happy with it! I may need to reinforce the d-rings a bit more. The yarn is handspun as well, not by me. So how much credit can I really take for this? Lol

I found something to make with the handspun yarn I got earlier this year AND a way to procrastinate knitting sleeves on two other projects
