when kenny first hears about hazamada from his uncle josuke, he absolutely HATES him. not only did he try to kill his brother jotaro, but the things rohan found out using heavens door?!

kenny doesn’t stand for any of that shit. once he does cross paths with hazamada, not long after the events of part 4, he beats the absolute crap out of him.

josuke finds out about this and is completely taken aback. he knows kenny can get angry at times and is VERY protective of his family, but to beat someone up is a whole new level. he tries to give kenny a pep talk about violence never being the answer and blah blah blah… but kenny doesn’t listen because “im an adult and im not gonna be bossed around by a 16 year old. even if you are my uncle.”

meanwhile hazamada is sat at home crying his eyes out because he thought kenny was really cool, especially the fact that he’s emo like him. he’s hurt. but he knows it’s because of how he’s behaved in the past. he finally realises how shitty he is and wants to do something about it. not just to impress kenny, he truly understands just how awful he can be. he needs to change.

the next time kenny sees hazamada it’s a few weeks later and it’s awkward to say the very least. kenny just says nothing and walks off with his usual resting bitch face. he doesn’t realise hazamada is waiting for a therapy appointment.

and guess what? these two actually have the same therapist. and they’re both telling her about each other, on top of their own issues. of course this never gets found out because of patient confidentiality but it’s still a bizarre situation.

a month later kenny celebrates his 19th birthday. he gets a really cute plushie. it’s a black cat. kenny loves it so much and it actually becomes a comfort item for him. although he can’t figure out who it’s from as that part of the gift tag was left blank… hm… i wonder who could’ve sent that.

josuke knows. the rest of the family knows. although they choose to just let kenny have fun before dropping the bombshell. and kenny is absolutely STUNNED once he finds out it was hazamada.

kenny is also told about how hazamada is going through therapy and seems to be a completely different person. he still struggles with his mental health as there’s only so much therapy can do, but he’s learned to redirect his emotions towards better things. including buying a gift for kenny, as he felt like he should be nice to him. even though he beat the crap out of him.

kenny begins to actually feel quite bad. he decides he will invite hazamada to the local cafe one day to talk things over.

the talk begins very awkwardly and intensely, but they both manage to keep their cool. they both apologise to each other and agree to meet up again.

these meet ups start to become a lot more frequent. they realise just how much they have in common, such as the fact that they’re both autistic, and they even share a special interest: manga. they both go absolutely CRAZY talking about manga. they start going manga shopping as often as possible.

josuke is very happy they’re finally getting along and that they’ve both become better people. he’s even started seeing receipts in kenny’s shopping bags, which is very new as kenny used to be a prolific shoplifter. however, the rest of the duwang gang are still cautious about the two spending time together, but are assured by the fact that they’re both becoming calmer and a lot more comfortable around one another.

after a month of constantly meeting up, they both decide to come out to each other. kenny comes out as bisexual and also trans. hazamada understands, being pansexual himself and also questioning his gender, believing he could be genderfluid but he isn’t entirely sure yet. that takes another few months to figure out.

then the realisation hits. they’ve fallen in love with each other. but they’re both way too scared to confess so whenever one makes a comment alluding to love, the other just tells them to shut up.

but inevitably it does happen. it takes a few drinks though. the next day they meet again and they remember how they both confessed then just sat for hours cuddling.

they vow never to speak of this incident to anyone, although there have been multiple sightings of the two shortass emos in morioh holding hands. they’ve both even started to put more effort into their appearances. hazamada now looks like he actually washes his hair.

they want to keep their relationship private at first but soon realise that may just cause rumours to spread. kenny knows just how bad josuke and okuyasu are when it comes to rumours, so they go public.

it does take everyone a little while to adjust to this, but to see kenny and hazamada finally a little happier makes it so worth it.

Also was stuck on Genm/Dangerous Zombie but I put Kenny as Silver is Chronos and Chronos and Genm are father/son so I just put the psycho teacher/student relationship with them. Lastly I added the newly introduced Kwon as Paradx as similar to Parado he just wants to fight and have fun

As for Sam and Tory as both don't really fit as Kamen Rider Poppy maybe Sam but I don't know. So I just put Sam as the Kamen Rider Chronicle Player, basically she is Nico so she too will be Snipe as she became a version of Snipe in the stage play

Also for anyone who watched Kamen Rider Ex-Aid I love the Snipe and Nico relationship and I feel Robby and Sam can have a relationship similar of that of Snipe and Nico where it can be seen as romantic or sibling like it. As despite how much Nico annoys him Taiga is protective of Nico and always looks out for her.

Cristina Vee is too iconic as Shantae and Risky, so I kept her in the role. With Vera, it's pretty funny because it's actually the same actress as before, but I just preferred her Bea voice from Pokemon: Twilight Wings.

I had wanted to go for a creepy feel for Techno Baron, so that's why he's got Ultimate Doc Ock's voice. With the Pirate Master, I wanted to pick an actor who could do a normal guy's voice (before he became the Pirate Master) and an almost demonic sounding voice. So that's why I picked Steve Blum for both versions of him.

The Toonami Trending Rundown for August 11-12, 2018. The third chapter of the JoJo’s franchise has come to a close as Stardust Crusaders has completed its Toonami run. My Hero Academia also began its second season as the class prepares for the UA Sports Festival, while Yami comes to back up Asta and Gauche against Licht, and to get fans prepared for season 2, One Punch Man returns for an encore run.

On Twitter #JoJosBizarreAdventure would trend in the US alongside Stardust Crusaders and would also produce a character trend on Twitter in Jotaro as he has his final battle against Dio. On tumblr, #Toonami would trend along with #MyHeroAcademia, #JoJo, and #OnePunchMan.

Speaking of One Punch Man, Viz Media on Sunday morning has released a new trailer for the upcoming new season. Contrary to rumors that we would have to wait until 2020 for season 2 to come out, Viz has officially announced that the new season will be released in Japan and on streaming in April 2019. No word yet if and when the new season will be dubbed and air on Toonami at this time, but having the encore run is definitely a good sign.

Funimation today released a new trailer for the My Hero Academia film: The Two Heroes, which will be available in select theaters in late September, with the English dub on September 25, 27 and 29 and in Japanese (with English subtitles) on September 26 and October 2. Funimation also announced the voice actors for the new characters for this film, including Erica Mendez playing Melissa Shield, Ray Chase playing her father David Shield, and Keith Silverstein playing the main villain Wolfram.

Otakon also took place this week, and some of the Toonami-related news that were announced there include:

Last week, Aniplex announced that they will be hosting world premiere events in several countries to commemorate the launch of Project Alicization and that the premiere episode will be an hour’s length. During the Sword Art Online panel at Otakon 2018, Aniplex had announced that the US one will take place at the Montalban Theatre in Los Angeles on September 15. Further details and tickets for that event have yet to be announced. The new season is set to premiere on Japanese television and streaming sites this October. No word yet if a prospective dub and Toonami run of season 3 is in the works at this time.

Aniplex is also working on re-releasing Blu-rays for Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood set for release on November 20 with all 64 episodes split into two sets. These Blu-ray boxsets are priced with an MSRP of $124.98 MSRP each, and are available for preorder at Right Stuf for $99.98 each. (Link for Part 1, Link for Part 2).

Discotek announced that they will be creating a Blu-ray set of the Toonami classic Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. The set will contain all 76 episodes of both the English and Japanese versions. No release date has been set as of this time.

For those who want to add Lupin Part IV to their Blu-ray and DVD collections and help the cause for Part V on Toonami, Discotek has released the English-only/Italian cut version out now. The Japanese-only version does not have a release date yet, but Discotek is aiming for a winter 2019 release.

Finally, I should mention that we attempted to publish our SDCC interview with Steve Blum on Monday, however we had to take it down due to some wording matters that Steve had issues with and needed to be changed. Things like this happen quite a bit in journalism, more often than you would think, but normally the edits are done in post-production when we’re asked, and communication issues made it difficult to do so. This is also among my first interviews i have ever done, so this is all new territory for me and there will be lessons learned for the future. We’re presently working with Steve to have it all corrected and republished as soon as possible, and I apologize for any issues this may have caused.

Next week, Toonami will be expanding back to 6 hours for the first time since January 2015 as My Hero Academia will move up to kick off the block as its new time at 10pm Eastern. Make sure to get home early. And of course, JoJo’s is not going anywhere, as next week we will begin Part 4 of the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise in Diamond is Unbreakable at 12:30am, to go along with the return of Attack on Titan at 11pm for season 3.
