I've played the entire Shantae collection, and it was amazing. Her first game was on the Nintendo Game Boy Color, which made me think she was a Nintendo/Capcom character for a while. However, it turns out WayForward still owns the rights to her. Have they ever released a 3D game featuring her?

Any fanfic writers get too attached to side characters to the point they get much bigger roles than they did in canon?

I know the Chef Girl (named Emma in my fic) is just an NPC in my Shantae games, but I feel very attached to her now to the point I'm thinking about giving her a character arc in the sequel story. She feels like as much of a character as the others fic do. I want to see this character have a happy ending!

This was Risky's first time hanging out with shantae since the pandemic. In that time, they only comunicated through video calls and the occasional thirsty text. While they knew hat they liked each other, thy didn't know how much they did until the pandemic ended and certain..."incidents" began occuring. At first these incidents were subtle, like an anonymous letter showing up at shantae's place of work about...non pg things or a risky plush being left around random spots in the half genie's abode. Soon these incidents escalated when Risky, extremely drunk, decided to smack shantae's cop pack so hard it broke the sound barrier and several thousand dollars of glass. Ever since then, the two frienemies have been entrenched in a sort of cold war. But instead of using proxy countries to get one over on each other, they use flirtation. The prize? Whoever breaks first has to take the other to an expensive restaurant of thier choice. Oh, and the loser also has to post a video onto any given social media declaring thier love for the winner. Seeing as both women are competitive, no one has gained an inch. Today was meant to be a normal day, but seeing as shantae has taken possession of Risky's literal pirate booty, it seems that assumption was wrong. Even though Risky is as red as a demon pepper is poisonous, she's still holding out. While all this..."friendlyness" is going on, sky shoots her best friend a glance that would send her to death row if looks could kill. Maybe she's jealous that she wasn't invited to this lil event. Or it could be that the lifeguards are giving her the look and she in turn gives the two love birds the look
