Unfortunately, I didn’t pass the code interview, but instead of being bad, I know more about this company hiring process and I can prepare myself for the next ones. I’ve gone years without my night terrors haunting me in my sleep. I was just a kid when it first started, had to go through therapy for multiple years. They went away for about a decade of time now I’m a grown man and they’ve come back to haunt me. I’ve never thought that those same dreams I had as a kid would still come back one day to haunt me. A grown ass man affected by night terrors… it makes me feel as if I’m not in total control over my own body. It fills me full a terror that one day I won’t be able to protect the ones I truly love and care about, it fills me with me full of anxiety not knowing what they mean fully, it’s stressful not knowing if I go to sleep one night if I’ll have that night terror again. I wake up from a dead sleep panting, sweating, anxious and just overall overwhelmed by something most people think are just a “simple nightmare” when it’s not just a simple nightmare it’s more than that. I’ll be stuck in a trance until my night terrors force me to see what they want me to see in my own head. I can’t pull myself out of them, and I can’t go back to sleep after them.

I hope you all are good and safe.  My dad is still in the hospital, but, thanks to all the people taking care of him, he will be at home on Saturday  ଘ(✿˵•́ ᴗ •̀˵) I am doing my best to do not freak out, and to keep studying to provide myself, my mom, and dad a better life - they did so much for me, I am glad to help them as much as possible.
