Week 3 - 2025

I finish the Santander Cybersecurity bootcamp! I loved the Kali Linux labs, and learned a lot about cybersecurity tools I wanted to know more about.

There is just one last module of my MBA and the final project to finish, too, which will open more agendas for the CISCO Ethical Hacker course I started, the technical readings I must do, and learning Power BI, which I will need in my new role/job.

I am glad I could find time to go out with my husband, have fun, buy a few things we needed, and adjust some exciting plans.

Worked hard last week, as, due to internal changes in the company that is hiring me (the one I already work for, but through a third party), I will work with Cybersecurity more closely: performing the overview and data analysis of the vulnerabilities from a department inside the company. Isn't it crazy? It will be great for my career plans, as this will provide me Cybersecurity experience (FINALLY)... I am happy, anxious, nervous, grateful... so many mixed feelings.

Well, I will give my best, will keep studying, organizing my finances, and going for my dreams, as things are already happening in my life (´⊙ω⊙`)！ To wrap it up: the profiterole picture is a homage to Mashle! What a great anime!!! I was reading the manga, and loved it, but the anime is so funny, he is lovely, and his friends are amazing (laughed and cried watching it). Finished the first and second seasons, and I cannot wait for the third. Also loving Spy Family and My Happy Marriage ༼♥ل͜♥༽ Have a great week guys ٩(◕‿◕｡)۶

2025 - Week 2

This week left me tired, as I did my best to catch up with my MBA lectures, and the boot camp projects (only 3 left);

I started a new book and an audiobook, bought a few things I needed and used our exercise bike a lot (yay).

Although I did a lot, my to-do list remains huge, I promised myself I would find time to write more articles for the learning platform I assign to, and will use their English classes to improve my skills for IELTS (spoiler: I did not this week).

Well, is a new week, so I will organize everything to distribute my tasks in a way that help me to tackle all of them.

2025 - Week 1

This first week of 2025 was very calm initially, but its ending was wild. I received a job offer that I did not want, but that going to help me in, basically, every objective and goal I was planning for this year and the next.

It is funny how life acts just like Alanis Morissette song "Ironic"... I planned so many things based on what I would do this year according to my current situation, and then, life says: - "I know you thought about this a lot and organized yourself to work with these tools you have but f*ck it! I will change the whole scenario". I have been thinking about what to do for the past three days. Furthermore, I also talked with my sisters, husband, and favorite auntie, and the road I have to take seems obvious. It will be challenging and scary and will require some sacrifices from me, but it will help me grow in ways I was delayed due to fear of failure. It will not be fully in Cybersecurity, though, but (again) will help me get there.

The fact that this is happening this early in 2025 says two things to me: 1) If you don't jump into the adventure, it will come for you one way or another; 2) Think about the worst thing that can happen, and then remember that 💀 is REALLY the worst thing that can happen.

My dreams and hopes are worthy. I cannot hold myself back by fear and suffocate my dreams for lack of courage. I made myself some promises, committed to goals, and cannot disappoint my soul, not due to fear, not due to a comfort zone that might stagnate me little by little.

I don't know if anyone else is facing a crossroads similar to the one I am facing now, but if you do: stop, think a lot, and act. Start over if needed, but act. You own yourself this, to live.

Wow! Profound for the first week of the year, but life is just like this. After all: "Life has a funny way of sneaking up on you Life has a funny, funny way of helping you out... Helping you out"

Your sign to pick up an offline hobby for 2025! The best decision I made in 2024 was picking up a paintbrush again for the first time in my adult life... I'm still learning how to paint properly, but doing something poorly is better than not doing it at all :')

366/366 Days of Growth

And it is done.

366 days. I registered most of these days here, on my Tumblr, and received support, love, inspiration, and kindness from many of you.

It was different documenting my days this way, because I felt more aware of my actions, specialy those toward to what I wanted to achieve.

I got the ISC2 CC and Microsoft AZ-900 certifications, numerous badges from Mitre Att&ck on Attack learning platform, started my MBA, stabilized my finances, took care of my health more properly, and overcame many problems that life threw at me.

This was, indeed, a year of growth.

2025 will be my year of thriving, doing my best to be closer to what I want. This means that I will have to keep my discipline at its highest, focusing on what I must do to make my dreams come true AND keep taking care of myself (physically, mentally, and spiritually).

So, I decided to start a new chapter of my records here: 52 weeks of thriving. I will not capture it day by day, but per weeks, setting weekly goals to help me visualize the whole through the parts.

Thank you all of you for everything!!! I will not tag specific people here by fear of missing someone, so, to all of my mutuals I would like to give a virtual hug, you guys are so lovely.
