All I’m going to say is; it’s not easy showing kindness to a man who had been so vastly removed from it from a young age, and the only memory he has of experiencing such kindness was from his mother; which in of itself was merely candlelight in comparison to the suffocating darkness.

So needless to say if you keep at it, not showing agitation or anger towards his inability to see your acts of kindness towards him as just that; pure acts of kindness. Then Kazuya will slowly -baby steps mind you, extremely small baby steps- begin to believe it to some extent.

Everyday is an uphill battle but you were willing to fight it forever without ever showing an ounce of fatigue if it meant earning Kazuya’s trust. Something that he one day noticed and will- in his own unique way- show his gratitude for sticking by him for as long as you have.

Let’s hypothetically say he came back injured, you naturally wanted to help him but much like showing affection or acknowledging how he felt towards you, he will have those walls up again faster then you could blink. It’s just natural for him this way to never pay any mind to the ‘weaker’ side to himself and reject any and all notions that could possibly end up in him becoming ‘soft’ and ‘pliable’ for those who might have it out for him.

So imagine the feeling of achievement you’d get the moment Kazuya let’s you tend to his wounds, listening silently as he slowly began to open up to you, even if it was a little bit, it was still something to celebrate for the both of you; especially when going forward into this relationship where you’d gradually bear your entire heart to the other, letting them see the most vulnerable parts of yourselves and silently praying that the other doesn’t destroy you with it in the future…

And imagine how nice it was to be hugged by a pair of strong arms, held against a firm chest by powerful hands and just finding yourself melting into him…smiling softly at the fact that Kazuya wanted to hold you out of his own accord. Feeling protected from any and all harm that could come your way. It was enough to make you want to cry but instead you smiled brightly and told him how utterly proud you were of him for taking the first step, for taking a chance on something he was once so vividly against.

This man looks like he’s never be told that someone was proud of him ever in his life. So hearing someone who had nothing but the most wholesome of intentions with him say it? He’s not going to know how to react, but from the way his grip on you would tighten slightly told you more than enough as you reminded yourself to keep reminding him how proud you were.

Is it a stretch to say that he would be protective? Especially towards the person who had shown him their truest self and shown him how being in love and being loved don’t inherently make you weak or lesser than, boldly proving him -a man dead set in his ways- wrong on several occasions and him not feeling an ounce of anger but instead a weird sense of relief? So Kazuya will want to keep you away from the shadier side of things in the instance that he might not always be there to ward away unwanted attention.

He may not say it aloud but then again why would he when his actions were loud enough for you to understand their intentions, no matter how few and far between they might be but at least you knew that he would stand by you and keep you protected by any means necessary.

He just has a fear of loosing the one good thing in his life because of who he was; For if he were to loose you then everything he originally believed would then become truth, that it would become reality.

The fact that you were both opposites would be made apparent in everything that you did but that’s what made your relationship work when in any other circumstances it probably wouldn’t. However it only made your appreciation of the other stronger than before.

It’s not perfect, not that I’m saying it ever was, but ultimately the hardships are what made you treasure your relationship with the grumpy man even more. You didn’t try to change or ‘fix’ him because that was not your job, you’re not fixer and you knew that as much as he did and instead you -with your unwavering kindness and gentleness- had let him taken his time with getting to a level of comfortability with you where he knew he could relax beneath your touch instead of flinching away.

You soothed his scarred heart whilst also loving it unconditionally without feeling the need to change it to fit your fantasy.

My first time writing for Claudio, so I hope I did well!

Summary: Their entire life being nothing but pain and fighting to awaken their devil and please their father, the reader finally has enough when the opportunity for their own freedom presents itself, hoping to find purification in Italy from the exorcist, Claudio, who learns that the reader is no devil...

Warnings: The reader is mentioned to have faced death and has a messed up past (but that's about it!)

My father and grandfather had been fighting one another for far too long, but at this point, I didn't care anymore. For the first time in my life, I was disobeying my father and doing what I wanted, doing what I felt was right even though I was scared.

Tonight, my life was going to change forever. I wasn't sure if Father would hunt me down once he noticed I was gone. It was too late to try and theorize every consequence of the actions I was about to perform.

Italy was a beautiful place, finding the Arches of Sirius Exorcists and their leader:

"You're Claudio Serafino, correct?"

"I am..." Looking in the corner of his eye, he could see my figure in the shadows of the cathedral, stepping out and pulling my hood down as I introduced myself:

"I'm Y/N. Y/N Mishima...."

His eyes widened with shock. At first, he was speechless, his mind racing with thoughts and questions, but he asked in a severe but soft tone:

"A Mishima? Are you another one of Heihachi's children?"

"No," I answered, trying to keep my emotions back as I hated to say, "Kazuya Mishima is my father."

"I thought Jin was his only child." Claudio grew more perplexed, looking towards the moonlight shining through the glass and onto my face. Staring intensely into my eyes, his intuition told him I was being truthful, swallowing a breath as he asked one last question, "What brings you here?"

My life with my father was brutal. For as long as I can remember, it was all about fighting, training, and gaining power. Nothing else. I couldn't even dare to mess up, or there would be consequences.

All those thoughts made me tear up, crying to this man who was still but a stranger to me, shaking as my body pulsated, my eyes piercing into his as they turned bright red against the moonlight, begging in my cry:

"Help me. Please, Claudio."

That was six months ago, and almost every day, I wondered about my father. Did he know where I was and didn't care? Either way, this war and the madness he was causing needed to be put to an end.

I was fortunate to create a bond with Claudio. I wanted to purge this devil from within me, and he offered me hope and a future along with it. Although we had so much to learn and needed to communicate as, the brother I had never met, Jin Kazama, had faced off with our father. Then a new King of The Iron Fist Tournament?

As much as I hated it, I may need this devil's power to help achieve our shared goal.

We were getting closer and closer as Claudio and I met Zafina, who had excellent knowledge of the devil gene and its origin.

"So, you have Azazel's power in your arm..." Claudio was fixed on her arm, to see a form of the devil itself was quite the sight for a sorcerer and I could only watch in shock.

I had hoped every day that maybe this was all a bad dream, but it was right before me. Watching Zafina's hand glow, she pulled out a dark orb, placing it in her hand, showing this red star being consumed by a dark force.

"Jin's light is diminishing..." She began to explain. It seemed to be that Jin was the key to finishing off Father, which I had no complaints about, but as I stared into that orb, my eyes gazing on her purple claw, my body pulsated hard, a pound in my head, which made me shut my eyes quickly.

"Y/N..." Claudio immediately sensed my discomfort, so caring as he took my hand softly, stepping closer to whisper, "Are you okay, dear?"

"Yeah," I lied, taking a deep breath and barely opening my eyes to seek his confirmation, beginning to pant softly, "May I be excused?"

"No need to ask," He whispered, concerned as I turned away from him, going to a balcony nearby, hoping the fresh air would help.

It must've been Azazel's power. It was the origin of the power within me, and my devil was responding to Azazel within Zafina.

Groaning out, I began to hold my head, remembering how my father made my entire life hell and pushed me to the brink of death, all to make me 'stronger.' My teeth started to sharpen the more I groaned, feeling the tips of my horns trying to escape my temple.

"No," I gritted out, my body tensing up as I hunched over a little, the memories continuing to flood my mind, but my heart telling me, "I'm not like him!"

Gasping for air, I was able to keep my devil suppressed. Stabilizing with deep breaths, I cleared my head as intense, dark emotions always led to something like this happening. After a few moments, I opened my eyes, looking at the pretty blue sky and clouds, trying to smile and be proud that I was able to handle myself, but I jumped slightly as I heard a soft, caring voice behind me:

"You're so strong, my dear..."

I had a feeling Claudio would come to check on me, a tiny smile on my face as he had seen the little fight I had within myself. His compliment made my cheeks warm. Looking away from him as I tried not to look so flustered, whispering:

"I guess I am."

"Believe in yourself, Y/N," Stepping closer and taking my hand, it was the first time in my life that I had someone's pure and genuine encouragement, "It takes great strength in one's mind and heart to overcome the things that you have."

"T-Thank you, Claudio," Looking at my hand in his, a tear fell from my eyes, a bit embarrassed that I didn't know what care was like, but I was grateful, a few more tears leaking out as he caressed my cheek next, wiping away those tears, a smile growing on his face as our gazes met.

He could easily read the emotions I felt through my eyes, stroking my cheek once more before wrapping his arm around my neck, pulling me to his chest, his other arm wrapping around my waist as he kept me warmly embraced.

Burying my face in his chest, I couldn't help but quiver from fighting off cries. I had never hugged anyone. All my memories were horrible ones, and to know that I could look back on this and be happy made my heart overflow with passionate emotions.

Squeezing me some as he felt my quivers, he placed his head alongside mine, whispering to me softly:

"And as you said, you are not like him. Deep in your heart, I know that you are pure, amor."

His care and sweetness were going to make my heart explode; growing some courage, I picked my head up a little to look at him with a single eye.

The way the sun shined into his heavenly blue eyes only made my heart thump harder, but it felt so good, and it was such a divine sight that I couldn't look away.

With a fingertip, he gently pushed my chin up, showing my face, his little smile against the sunlight making him look even more handsome; my eyes shut when I felt his nose brush past mine, feeling a slight shock when our lips pecked each other softly, then pressing into a deeper, tender kiss, my handful of his jacket and never wanting to let this go.

I pressed my lips for as long as I could before my head fell a little, gasping a little, giggling as his hand rubbed up and down my back, cooing to me:

"Breathe, amor."

"I'm sorry," I giggled, growing quiet as I found his eyes and immediately got lost again, "I just couldn't get enough..."

"Don't apologize or worry," In my dark world, I had finally found a sun that was so bright that there were no shadows. He was my sun, believing his every word as he was now my new and sure hope, his smile so precious and handsome as he put his nose against mine, "You'll get plenty more."

I think Kazuya's first internal reaction is... Why? Because this man thinks the world of you, and believes that there is literally no one else more perfect than you.

In his mind, he can't imagine an angel on earth being insecure about anything because they are simply without flaw. That's how he feels about you.

But I think Kazuya eventually sees it in a more realistic way. Everyone is insecure sometimes, that's the way of the world unfortunately.

That doesn't mean that he's going to let you suffer in silence, however. Far from it.

You know how the man is; something's bothering him, he's sure as hell gonna come out and say something. There's no beating around the bush because he just thinks it's a waste of time!

So when he can tell that something's on your mind and you're upset, he will ask right away what's wrong. Some people might think his tone is brash or accusatory, but you know better. That's how he is, after all! And you love him for all of his gruff, grumpy ways.

Please don't try to sneak this past Kazuya, he will find out what's wrong and he only wants the best for you. So don't be embarrassed sharing how you truly feel; Kazuya would never dream of judging or shaming you.

It will take him a minute to process your words, and in an instant he understands. Even if he himself can't see it, he knows that your feelings are real for you.

Kazuya will hold you close and make sure you know that you are enough and more just the way you are. Everything you do makes him proud, all your hard work and efforts push him to be a better man every day.

He also makes a concerted effort to make sure you are reminded of these things more often. Kazuya isn't exactly the vocal type when it comes to praise or words of affirmation.

But for you? He would do that and more if it meant that you felt more secure in who you are.

Ridley: Maybe? I always thought he would look more demonic if anything.

Ganondorf: (Crosses his Arms) I was under the impression that he was killed.

Heihachi: (Starts Nodding his Head in Understanding) Ah I see. (Gives Bowser a Handshake) Still an honor to meet you nonetheless. I admire how find ways you terrorize your victims in most brutal way imaginable, in ever Mario Party, especially the first one.

Everyone turn their attention to the League's more newer member, Jun Kazama, making her way over to her devil-less husband, very displeased at what she is witnessing.

Heihachi: (Genuinely Surprised to See his Thought to be Dead Daughter-In-Law Right Now) Well, I'll be damned......

Kazuya: (Glares at his Wife) Stay out of this, Jun! Do you have any idea what's going on right now-

Kazuya looks back at Heihachi before turning his attention back to his wife, one of the very little number of people he genuinely respects and care for.

He has never been the type of person show any signs mercy to anyone that dares stood in hus way, not even his own family flesh and blood. And while he personally find this "Road of Redemption" Jun has dragged him into as a complete time waster in it's own right, even he could never deny how much it means to her and that she's more than willing to believe in him when everyone else consider him a loss cause at first glance.

So, to prevent breaking the heart of the woman he loves, Kazuya let's out a sigh of defeat as he reluctantly moves his fist away from Heihachi's wrinkled face before lowering it down.

Kazuya: There. I'm done. You happy?

Jun: (Happily Hugs Kazuya From Behind) Very. Thank you, my love.

Kazuya: (Turns Away) Uh-huh. (Starts Blushing a Bit) Sure.

Hades: ('Sigh') And just like that: It's over.

Heihachi starts brushing out laughing once more, leaving his son and in law very unamused.

Reina: So you figured the best way to gain back all the power you've lost in the past, is to work alongside it?

Heihachi: (Smirks Yet Again) Precisely. I may not be as powerful as I was back then, but with the help of my teaching I stow upon you and your fellow disciples back at the temple, we will crush our enemies to pieces, with an iron fist and take back what was wrongfully from me!

Reina: (Starts Smirking Evilly as Well) The Mishima Zaibatsu.

Heihachi: Correct. See? I knew you were my second favorite for the a reason.

Reina: (Heart Begins to Melt) Awww~ Thanks, Dad- Wait. Second?

Heihachi: Yep. Right Next to Kuma II!

Reina: (Groans While Giving her Father a Deadpinned Look on her Face) Seriously? You have an that dumb BEAR as your son?

Summary: A Continuation of - A Sun Is Born

Facing off against True Devil Kazuya in the Colosseum after the Iron Fist Tournament, the reader struggles in battle against their father, beaten and weakened by his newfound strength. But when the reader's new dream is in jeopardy, they do what it takes to protect it.

Warnings:  Some fighting, the reader goes full devil mode, but that's about it!

"You're a disappointment..."

Facing off against my father alongside Claudio, Victor, and some other fighters, just to be swatted at like flies, made me feel that my father's words may have been true.

It was already bad enough that he took Azazel's power from Zafina so quickly, and now, his proper devil form?

He was a force to be reckoned with, and I learned that firsthand, beaten and my face in the dirt of the Colosseum.

Tears swelled up in my eyes, full of pain and rage. I wanted to get up and keep fighting, but my body wouldn't let me pick myself up.

Those emotions had me so zoned out for a moment that I didn't realize what was going on until a blue ring suddenly appeared in the sky surrounding my father, and Claudio's voice filled me with hope like it always did.

"The restriction field is already in place!"

His abilities never ceased to amaze me. I looked downward to see him fully prepared to take down my father since he was still pinned.

"What is this now?"

The restriction field had my father chained, and my eyes widened with awe as I saw Claudio's eye change, the mark of Sirius Exorcists appearing on the side of his face, saying firmly as his blue aura began to form an arrow:

"Sink into the eternal darkness, joined only by the stain of your sins!"

The spear of Kephalos was a sight to behold, and I was positive that this was all over as Claudio called out while shooting the spear:

"Begone, evil star!"

In just a matter of moments, all my hope was shattered. I knew my father was strong, but I never expected him to break free from the chains and dodge the spear.

I needed to get up, but the fight against my father had taken such a tremendous toll on me. I kept pushing so hard to get up, but my body failed me by being so tense, all my limbs shaking as I was on all fours.

My heart had never pounded so hard as it did then; looking to see Claudio falling to his knees, summoning that spear must've taken a great deal of energy, my father's voice putting genuine fear into my heart:

"Pretty clever for a mere human."

His dark purple aura started circling into his chest; his target was Claudio.

It felt like time froze as Claudio seemed to have accepted this fate, but it was something I refused to accept. He was the light of my life, my new dream, and I wasn't letting anyone or anything take that away from me.

"Begone!" My father yelled at me, sending a fatal blast towards Claudio, catching everyone off guard when suddenly, a loud and piercing roar flew out of me.

I never liked it when such a thing happened, but my devil completely took over me, flying in front of Claudio, the laser between my eyes shooting out and clashing with my father's blast, yelling out of pure hatred towards him:

"You've made my life nothing but hell! I won't let you take the one good thing I have away from me!"

I'd never felt so numb before, and for a change, my devil consuming me had some good to it, as the power that came with my rage was enough to rival my father's.

Letting out another roar, my laser blasted straight through him, and at the same time, Claudio had my back as he always did, redirecting the spear, and it pierced my father's shoulder.

The effects of the spear must not have hit him yet, my father yelling down at me:

"You wouldn't have such a power without my blood, and you decide to throw it away over those pathetic humans!"

"The only one who is pathetic is you!" I screamed back, my laser powering up simultaneously, ready to land an even more devastating blow, but he noticed his wound, knowing it was time to retreat.

I tried to fire it off before he could fly away, but given my state and the fact that my mind was all over the place, I didn't hit him directly.

That only made me angrier, continuing to fire off my laser over and over, screaming out:

"Get back here, you bastard!"

My devil's power was more vital than ever. My whole body was so tense that it felt like I could implode from the inside out, and all I could think about was defeating my father till a familiar touch made all those bad things come to a halt, my mind clearing at the sweet tone that I adored:

"Amore..."

My beaming red eyes found Claudio, my heart stopping momentarily as he did something I'd never imagined anyone doing. Holding my wrist, he brought me into his arms, keeping me in a warm embrace.

I always thought this form was hideous, with its wings, horns, fangs, and piercing red eyes. I was nothing short of horror in my eyes but in his eyes? I was still the same old me.

My heart was beating in my head as he held me, and a wave of calmness crashed down over me. I felt my body truly weakened as my wings and horns retracted, starting to go back to normal.

At the same time, I clung onto his shirt, my knees shaking from being so weak, my eyes rolling to the back of my head, but I could sense how he was guiding me downward in his arms, whispering to me:

"I have you, amore. Relax, please..."

Finally, it felt like I could breathe again, taking slow, deep breaths and opening my eyes after a moment, seeing his relieved smile as they were back to their usual color, swelling up with tears as I tried to chuckle those tears away:

"An exorcist fighting alongside a devil...who would've seen that coming, heh..."

"You're no devil..." His eyes showed that he didn't expect me to do what I had done to such an extent, but he was grateful. His eyes glossed over as he caressed my cheek gently, whispering, "Thank you for saving my life..."

"There's no need to thank me," I assured him. It was hard to move, but I picked my arm up to take his hand, holding it as tightly as I could. Tears fell on my cheeks, and my voice cracked a little from the deep meaning in my words: "I was simply protecting my d-dream..."

"Your dream?"

I could tell that he was only looking for reassurance, knowing what I meant already as his eyes teared up more, my following words making one leak out:

"You're my dream, Claudio..."

Squeezing my hand tightly, he wrapped his free arm around me, bringing me to his chest. All the strong emotions took over me again. I clung to him as my arm wrapped around his neck, holding him as if I'd never get another chance to do so, all the tears that I tried to hold back streaming down my face.

"Nothing will ever ruin your dream," he whispered in my ear, fixing his head against mine to look into my eyes. He showed how he felt the same by rephrasing, "Our dream..."

"Nothing." I nodded gently, staring deeply into his heavenly blue eyes, feeling how my heart moved by something as simple as looking into someone's eyes.

He was the happiness that I had always dreamed of, and I didn't plan on ever letting that go, closing my eyes and pressed my lips against his softly, holding for as long as I could till I was breathless and didn't have the energy to keep my head up.

Since all our emotions were flowing out of us, I decided to tell him what my heart was telling me, showing that I even picked up on some Italian, barely able to keep my eyes open but solely fixed on his gaze:

"Ti amo, angelo mio..."

[I love you, my angel...]

The fight I had prior, along with my devil taking control of me, had drained me to my limit, but there was a smile on my face when I felt Claudio squeeze me once he heard my words; his warmth mixed with my exhaustion had me passing out.

That was fine by me. I knew that I was safe in his arms, and I got to fall asleep to his beautiful, sweet, and soft coo:

"Anch'io ti amo... davvero tanto."

[I love you too... so much.]

SasuSakus are comparing JinXiao (Jin x Xiaoyu) and some are even saying that Jin copied Sasuke's hairstyle when it wasn't even close. Sure, there were similarities but Jin debuted in 1997 during Tekken 3's release while Sasuke in 1999 when the Naruto manga debuted in WSJ. If anything, Sasuke "copied" Jin's hair style. Jin's look is an amalgamation of Kazuya's hair with Jun's bangs. In series description says that Jin got Jun's face more than Kazuya's, which is similar to how Naruto is often said to have inherited Kushina's face.

SasuSakus are delusional to compare JinXiao with them since Jin left Xiaoyu much like Sasuke left Konoha and Sakura. However, it is not even close as Jin was gunned down in Tekken 3 but came back to life and fled the scene. He went into hiding and discarded everything about the Mishimas. However, unlike Sasuke, Jin really cared for Xiaoyu so much that he sent her an anonymous e-mail warning her about the Mishimas plus he didn't even lay a hand on her, unlike what Sasuke did with Sakura. If anything, when they reunited in Tekken 8, Jin wasn't annoyed at her. He was comfortable with her, much like how Naruto and Ichigo are comfortable with their ladies. Jin just wanted her to be safe as she, along with his mother Jun, are the most important people in his life. Also, a huge factor of Jin's decision to push Xiaoyu away is due to the Devil Gene, as it can be uncontrollable and can be passed on to the next generation.

Man, I kinda hate SasuSakus and some Naruto fans who think that Naruto became the basis of many franchises when in reality, it wasn't the case. Much like many franchises, it also got inspiration from others. SasuSaku is like a toxic version of VegeBulma, where they also share the character dynamics with. Many SasuSaku deny it.

Sorry for the long rant but I can't help but be annoyed at them for making a fuzz on other franchises.

I don’t play video games but yeah this ain’t the first time SS has tried to latch onto other series/franchises ships.

Remember when they tried to make Gray from Fairy Tail like Sasuke just because both Juvia and Sakura were obsessed with them but like……when did Sasuke EVER show care to Sakura even when they knew each other for YEARS????

Gray saved Juvia the first time they met and THATS why Juvia loves Gray. Sakura only liked Sasuke as a CHILD because of his LOOKS not because he ever saved her. Hell even then, if Sakura were actually like Juvia she’d love INO for saving her not Sasuke who did nothing for her.

Sasuke blatantly didn’t give a shit about Sakura after they spent school together! Gray just met Juvia (and knew she was the ENEMY) and saved her life.

This just shows that SS can never stand on their own. They’re like leeches attaching themselves to NH, GJ, and the ship you talked about to show how “healthy” and “normal” their ship is.
