yk what's unfair ?? for halloween, im dressing up and going trick or treating with a group of friends, only im going as snake plissken from escape from new york, a movie that none of said friends have seen

one of those friends is going as kaz brekker, but only him and one other person have read the soc books out of that group

so i asked him to watch ONE MOVIE before halloween, and he asked me to read SIX BOOKS. BEFORE HALLOWEEN. SIX. because of course i had to read the s&b trilogy before i read soc

so now im spending all my free time reading this. so far ive nearly finished siege and storm

Today I ordered the last piece for my Nikolai Lantsov cosplay (at least when it comes to MagicCon at the beginning of next month, it will be one of those cosplays that will constantly be updated I guess). I'm excited, but also so so so terribly scared of wearing it. Over the last year he became one of my biggest comfort characters and I already know that I won't be able to do him justice, but I'm also worried that I don't like how it looks on me at all, because if that's the case the black lump in my chest where others have a heart will brittle away. It could be a truly devastating experience. Or the best case happens and I like or love it and it gives me a huge confidence boost, but that's unlikely. But then again, wearing Kaz' cosplay unexpectedly boosted my confidence too, so my fingers are crossed lol
