Minggu yang dihabiskan di Lembang kali ini cukup menguras banyak energi. Selain karena jauh, tapi juga cape dengan keramaian di taman bunga yang ga ada abisnya. Belum lagi untuk masuk ke kafenya yang harus naruh nama di daftar tunggu.

Salahku, yang tau akan pergi main jauh tapi ga sarapan dulu. Hasil dari perjalanan hampir 20 km dengan cuaca panas, lalu mampir ke taman bunga—yang mana ada di luar ruangan—adalah pusing dan mual. Tenggorokan udah kering dan ga ada tempat untuk beli air putih kemasan. Terpaksa harus keluar taman dan jalan ke Alfamart terdekat yang jaraknya 120 m.

Setelah istirahat sebentar dan sholat di mushola kafe, akhirnya berhasil bisa dapet meja untuk makan. Aku pesan Chicken Curry Rice dan Strawberry Juice, sementara temanku pilih Korean Chicken dan Gia’s Milk Tea.

Brought mum to Causeway Point for shopping and had an early dinner at Food Republic. Ordered the Beef Tendon & Tripe Noodles Soup (S$11) from The Hong House Beef Noodles as mum enjoyed it the last time she had it.

I myself went for the Chicken Katsu Omelette Original Curry Rice (S$8.40) from Washoku Goen. It came with an omelette blanketing the white rice and topped with a deep-fried breaded chicken cutlet. The other half of the plate is filled with Japanese curry gravy and potato cubes. The chicken is both crispy and succulent and the curry seasoned more toward savoury and spicy rather than sweet which is a good thing for me.

My boyfriend helped me make katsu curry last night. It turned out pretty good (restaurant quality if I do say so myself) with nice juicy chicken and crunchy lotus in the curry. I used the hot Golden Curry curry roux.

I fear I have made a slight error, because the boyfriend will probably want katsu curry on a semi-regular basis now.

At least I've got him trained as a sous chef and he was able to successfully fry the last two cutlets, so it'll be a lot less work for me than it was this time I suppose.

i wanted to do this last week to celebrate the finale but i only just now got around to it. so for today's dinner, i made japanese-style vegetable curry (ch. 66-67) with tofu katsu (ch. 23) on top of steamed pink rice! 🍛

(bonus: my mom dropped off to sleep right after eating; senshi was right about those carbohydrates getting to you lol)

It's my 20th birthday on Saturday!! Today I went bowling and just now finished eating a meal at restaurant.

I think that Lance, Yeonho and Red are the kinda people who would order the exact same meal every single time (so me core)

Yuri would mix it up a bit, mostly having steaks, but any meal he has, he will always have with salad

Tei, being a passionate cook, would enjoy trying lots of different things then see if he'd want to make that at home. Yeonho also likes learning new recipes to make like Tei but in terms of eating them, he just prefers the same thing all the time

Eri likes trying every different thing on the menu so each time she goes she tries something different until she lands on a favourite. She'll still mix it up a bit tho but I think maybe she likes spicy dishes like chilli con carne.

The first time Lance went to the restaurant, Eri recommended him the chicken korma, so he has that every time

Yeonho likes his Mac n cheese with a side of chips

And Red always has pizza and cherry Coke

I think the only thing that would make this different would be if the restaurant was super fancy. And obviously. Options for food will be different in South Korea in comparison to England so I can't rly speak for Korean food but I'd say that's what they'd have over here
