list of young actresses of color who deserve to have more recognition and opportunities as actors like Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Kathryn Newton, Millie Bobby Brown etc. It would be refreshing to see more of these talented and underrated actresses of color
*Note, the list consists of actors born within the mid 90s-2000s. This might not be a complete list so whoever sees this is welcome to add more actors that I missed. I might update this post from time to time
This list has gotten so long that I have to make a separate one for male actors of color
Rachel Zegler-(she deserved way better than the hate over snow white)
Lana Condor-(aside from x-men apocalypse and the to all the boys trilogy, she hasn't done much blockbusters compared to Noah, despite her being the lead in the latter films)
Dominique Thorne-(She has her Ironheart and deserves more opportunities, both in the mcu and outside)
Halle Bailey
Maitreyi Ramakrishnan
Lola Tung-(same example with Lana, pretty jarring how her male co-stars are getting work beyond the summer i turned pretty and yet there's nothing from Lola)
Ashley Liao
Megan Suri-(another cast member from Never Have I Ever who also deserves all the opportunites)
Joy Sunday-(Bianca from Wednesday, deserves as much love as Emma Myers)
Iman Vellani-(Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan herself, deserves to have a thriving career and be as big like Tom Holland)
Ayo Edebiri-(2023 was a big year for her, hopefully it continues and she's not overlooked or overshadowed by her white co-stars in The Bear)
Savannah Smith-(Carried the gossip girl reboot, she deserves to have as much recognition as Leighton and Blake did after the original Gossip Girl series)
Madison Reyes-(Julie and the Phantoms deserved better than to be cancelled after one season and with a cliffhanger. Let her star in a musical and or disney film)
Simone Ashley-(One of the main leads in Bridgerton yet Phoebe and Nicola have more upcoming projects than her in Hollywood)
Charithra Chandran
Arsema Thomas
India Amarteifio
Madeleine Madden-(Carried season 2 of The Wheel of Time and if you watched the whole season, you'll understand why)
Moses Ingram-(Did not deserve the hate over the Obi Wan Kenobi series)
Minnie Mills-(She deserved to appear in season 2 of The Summer I Turned Pretty)
Amrit Kaur
Alyah Chanelle Scott-(it's frustrating that both the main leading ladies of color are overshadowed by Renee Rapp and Pauline, who's related to Timothy)
Letitia Wright-(Pretty jarring how she's been in plenty of mcu projects yet it's easy to count the number of roles she's been in outside the mcu, and has been acting since 2011, longer than Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor Joy and Millie Bobby Brown. Wright has even acted as long as Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams and they've been in more projects than her)
Yasmin Finney-(She's done both Heartstopper and Doctor Who)
Imani Lewis-(First Kill deserved better than being cancelled after one season. Let her do more horror and supernatural themed
Leah Jeffries-(Deserves all the support especially once the Percy Jackson series comes out)
Auli'i Cravahlo
Erin Kellyman-(After the Han Solo film, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Willow, let her appear in more sci-fi and action blockbusters)
Sadly, tumblr has a 30 limit on adding gifs. I definitely missed so many on the list. Anyone is welcome to add more to the list. All of these talented actresses deserve all the love, appreciation and more opportunities and roles
I might do a part 2 which will include male actors

Bob Pardo, Vietnam War pilot famous for Pardoâs Push maneuver, dies at 89
Jonathan Snyder
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert Pardo is known for carrying out an unorthodox aviation maneuver, later coined the Pardo Push, to save the lives of his wingmen during a bombing mission over Vietnam on March 10, 1967.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert Pardo is known for carrying out an unorthodox aviation maneuver, later coined the Pardo Push, to save the lives of his wingmen during a bombing mission over Vietnam on March 10, 1967. (David Cooper/U.S. Air Force)
Bob Pardo, who left his mark in Air Force history for using an unorthodox maneuver, Pardoâs Push, to save his wingmenâs lives during a bombing mission over Vietnam, died Dec. 5. He was 89.
On March 10, 1967, Pardo and weapons officer 1st Lt. Steve Wayne were on a bombing run on an enemy steel mill north of Hanoi in an F-4C Phantom, flying alongside Capt. Earl Aman and 1st Lt. Robert Houghton.
The target â North Vietnamâs only steel mill dedicated to war materiel â was heavily guarded by anti-aircraft guns and artillery.
During the mission, ground fire damaged both Pardoâs and Amanâs Phantoms, causing both to lose fuel. However, Aman lost too much to return safely to base, and Pardo knew he had to act quickly, according to a 2007 recounting of the mission by Gen. T. Michael Mosely, then the chief of staff of the Air Force.
âI knew if I didnât do anything, they would have to eject over North Vietnam into enemy territory, and that would have resulted in their capture for sure,â Pardo said in a 2015 interview for the Air Force Veterans in Blue program. âAt that time, if you were captured by civilians, you were probably going to be murdered on the spot.â
Pardo decided to push Amanâs plane using the nose of his aircraft against Amanâs tailhook, a retractable hook on the underside of the plane used for arrested landings.
He managed to decrease the rate of descent of Amanâs jet by 1,500 feet per minute, and they successfully reached friendly territory. Both air crews safely ejected over the Laotian border and were rescued by friendly forces.
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. Robert Pardo died Dec. 5 at 89. (David Cooper/U.S. Air Force)
The Air Force at first reprimanded Pardo for further damaging his aircraft. Twenty years later, he received the Silver Star for his actions in the aerial rescue.
Pardo was born in 1934 in Herne, Texas, and began his Air Force career in 1954 at age 19. After flight school, he flew the Phantom during the Vietnam War, logging 132 flying missions.
He retired as a lieutenant colonel in 1974. In addition to the Silver Star, his awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, Air Medal with twelve Oak Leaf Clusters and the Meritorious Service Medal.
Pardo is survived by his wife, Kathryn, whom he married on March 7, 1992, five children and 10 grandchildren.

"At age 23, Tina Fey was working at a YMCA.
At age 23, Oprah was fired from her first reporting job.
At age 24, Stephen King was working as a janitor and living in a trailer.
At age 27, Vincent Van Gogh failed as a missionary and decided to go to art school.
At age 28, J.K. Rowling was a suicidal single parent living on welfare.
At age 28, Wayne Coyne (from The Flaming Lips) was a fry cook.
At age 30, Harrison Ford was a carpenter.
At age 30, Martha Stewart was a stockbroker.
At age 37, Ang Lee was a stay-at-home-dad working odd jobs.
Julia Child released her first cookbook at age 39, and got her own cooking show at age 51.
Vera Wang failed to make the Olympic figure skating team, didnât get the Editor-in-Chief position at Vogue, and designed her first dress at age 40.
Stan Lee didnât release his first big comic book until he was 40.
Alan Rickman gave up his graphic design career to pursue acting at age 42.
Samuel L. Jackson didnât get his first movie role until he was 46.
Morgan Freeman landed his first MAJOR movie role at age 52.
Kathryn Bigelow only reached international success when she made The Hurt Locker at age 57.
Grandma Moses didnât begin her painting career until age 76.
Louise Bourgeois didnât become a famous artist until she was 78.
Whatever your dream is, it is not too late to achieve it. You arenât a failure because you havenât found fame and fortune by the age of 21. Hell, itâs okay if you donât even know what your dream is yet. Even if youâre flipping burgers, waiting tables or answering phones today, you never know where youâll end up tomorrow.
Never tell yourself youâre too old to make it.
Never tell yourself you missed your chance.
Never tell yourself that you arenât good enough.
You can do it. Whatever it is."

Puedes hacerlo. Lo que sea que encienda tu alma. Fuente: Mundo Alucinante

Copied and shared: Behind the Scenes Call
Patti Finney Compton
God set many with A Behind the Scene Ministry. And now, you are coming out of the wilderness. In this place, God has given many the eyes to see and experience the deep things of God. Many have answered the call to ministry in this place. For they have learned firsthand, what the call to suffer with Jesus in Gethsemane is, what it is to be set aside and crucified upon the cross and what it is like to suffer at the hands of persecution and accusation. Here in this place, their hands have been trained for war.
Yet, these set aside ones and hidden ones have walked and overcome those set against them to take them out, who wanted to stop their ministry, steal their identity and assassinate their character. Yet, these endured the tests and the long wilderness journey and became an overcomer.
Like Moses, they will willingly lay their lives down many times in the Presence of the Almighty. There it will cost them them everything, as they cry out for mercy for the Body of Christ and for those that know not what they do. The price is higher than most people will ever know.
A true Prophet will walk many journeys alone, yet, they know God is there beside them. Many want the titles, but never consider the cost. As Kathryn Kulman stated, It will cost you everything. Some it has cost them their physical lives. Yet, you answer the call for Him who called you before the beginning of time, while He was forming you in the womb.
You are the Sold Out Ones, to Him who sits on the Throne and you willingly give Him your lives. Not just because it is what you do, your ministry or calling, but because of who you are, In Him.
You are His Relentless Warriors, His Valient Ones, and His Dread Champions sent to be Change Agents to a dying World. You are His Army and now, you have been made ready to rise up, in Him. The season is upon us. Now, Arise, in Him! Glory, Glory, Glory. Patti Finney Compton
