Younger sister reader x Kate Bishop
Warnings: none
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
She would definitely teach you how to use a bow and arrow
When you guys were younger, you used to play hide and seek all around the massive penthouse.
^usually would end up with getting scolded by your guys' Mom
You would've been there right next to Kate when the battle of nEW York happened. And ever since then she's hated to leave you out if her site.
Which was especially hard when she went off to college.
^but she would make sure you guys texted or called or video chatted every day while she's away.
You'd get annoyed with her protectiveness of wanting to always know where you are - hence you calling her 'Mom numbero dos' whenever she really annoys you.
She'd try to keep you out of the Ronan, Maya, and tracksuit business for as long as she could, but you found out spectacularly fast from her suspiciousness.
Which that would end up with you pestering her until she introduces you to Clint.
And that interaction by itself would be a whole scene in your guys' aunt's condo.
You'd tell Clint embarrassing stories about Kate's obsession with him since you guys were kids.
^Which she would throw anything in front of her at you to make you shut up and she would blush like crazy.
When you eventually meet Yelena, you'd take a big liking to her and Kate would be super skeptical about your guys' friendship. Considering the whole her being a trained assassin thing and you being only sixteen.
She would be teaching you how to drive in the city but after ten minutes make you pull over from you honking at a taxi, calling the driver 'jackass' as loud as you could. 'Okay, no more of this for you today' She would say and make you switch sides with her.
Clint and Yelena would also become super protective of you (making you roll your eyes) - it's even worse once the two of them sort of make up after the big fight at Rockefeller skating rink.
Whenever you and Kate have down time, you guys have movie nights, snuggled up on the couch with blankets and stuffing your faces with junk food.
Kate would try her hardest to not let you fight in any of the fights that happen in the city. Especially if they are clearly dangerous.
You would play with her bow and arrows around the house and may or may not have broken more than a few vases. And tried to clean them up before anyone notices.
She would sometimes go to extreme lengths and lock you in a closet when you wouldn't back down from trying to come along to fight the bad guys.
Hello!
How about Wanda x Reader, where yn has golden retriever energy.
Wanda and Vision broke up a few months ago, he cheated on her and she was like not believe in love anymore, until she met yn thanks to Yelena, yn is kate's older sister, and has the same energy or more than her.
The Bishop girl
Tumblr media
Y/N: 26 years old ——————————————————
NO ONE'S POV "Y/N Bishop, why in the world do you have just one fork? Now I know where Kate gets that from" Yelena sighs, shaking her head while carrying a pot full of mac and cheese she made.
"I'm just one person, Yelena. Besides, you kinda invited yourself over, I wasn't expecting you at all today" Y/N tells her back. The girl was just enjoying her coffee when her sister and Yelena suddenly bursted through the door of her apartment.
"Once you hear why Kate and I came, you'll be glad we did" Yelena says, sitting down at the table and opening her mouth to say more. "We-"
"You'll be so happy! I can't wait to tell you!" Kate squeals, cutting Yelena off and actually making her older sister curious.
"Can you guys just tell me what's going on already?" Y/N asks them impatiently, her leg bouncing up and down from how curious she is right now.
"The three of us are going to Tony Stark's party tonight!" Kate squeals.
"Oh my god! Really?!" This time is Y/N the one to squeal, her eyes shining.
The sisters, Y/N and Kate, have had this dream to become ones of the Avengers ever since they saw Clint and Natasha fighting for New York. Kate's role model has always been Clint and that's actually why she got into her Archery thing while Y/N's has been Natasha, so she got more into fighting. And now the younger sister is actually about to become an Avenger which is the coolest thing ever for the older sister.
"I need to get ready!" Y/N rushes to her room, immidiately opening her closet and throwing her best suits and dresses on her bed.
"We'll pick you up later!" Yelena calls from the kitchen, so Y/N calls 'okay' back and get back into choosing what to wear.
After trying on everything the girl decides for her favorite black suit as she doesn't feel like wearing dress tonight. But of course she needs to do her make-up and hair first, so that's what she does before actually dressing up. She does wear heels to her suit though and then just sits on the couch and waits until Yelena and Kate pick her up.
———
The three arrive to the party… finally, and Yelena with Kate immediately drag Y/N to where the Avengers are standing and talking.
"Guys! This is my older sister Y/N" Kate blurts out immediately on which everyone stops talking and looks at the older sister, making her nervous.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N. I'm Steve. Kate has told us a lot about you" Steve breaks the akward silence, giving Y/N a smile and stretching his hand for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too!" The girl smiles back, shaking his hand. Y/N repeats this with most of them and they immediately include her in their conversation which finally makes the girl relax.
Her eyes land on the only present Avenger she hasn't met yet though… Wanda Maximoff. She's sitting at the bar alone, sipping her drink and she definitely looks like she needs some cheering up.
"I'll be right back, I'll just go for a drink real quick" Y/N tells her sister, earning a nod, so she heads to the bar. A simple "Hey" Is how she greets Wanda, giving her a smile as an attempt to start a conversation.
"Hi… Sorry, I'm not really in the mood for a conversation" Wanda sighs, making Y/N furrow her brows.
"Yeah. I've noticed. That's why I came here… for a drink and to cheer you up" Y/N gives the witch another smile before telling the guy behind the bar her order.
"Sorry, who are you?" Wanda asks, scanning the unknown girl with her eyes which makes Y/N shift uncomfortably a little bit.
"I'm Y/N Bishop, Kate's older sister" She introduces herself.
"Right, she speaks about you a lot. I'm Wanda" Wanda says, finally giving Y/N a small smile.
Of course Y/N knows why is Wanda sad… what happened between the famous pair… that Vision cheated on Wanda a few months ago and they broke up. Kate's been telling her older sister everything that's been happening on the compound.
That's the reason behind Wanda's not so cheerful behavior. Y/N isn't even surprised when Wanda's ex-boyfriend is currently on the dance floor with a few ladies.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Wanda… Hey, don't you think it's too loud here? Don't you maybe wanna go for a walk or something?" Y/N asks the Avenger to try to get her away from here, so she'd stop staring at her ex-boyfriend. It might be too fast, but it's worth a try, right?
"… Okay" Wanda sighs and stands up, starting to walk away, so Y/N is quick to follow behind.
The pair ends up on a balcony with the most beautiful view on the entire city which leaves Y/N breathless. She walks closer to the edge, her mouth opened at the sight.
"Wow"
"I know, right? I always come here when I need a moment alone" Wanda confused, a smile visible on her lips.
"I like your smile, you should smile more" Y/N says on which Wanda's cheeks turn a bit red.
Wanda shakes her head, trying to get rid off the nice feeling she's currently having. Ever since Vision cheated on her, Wanda just decided that she'd never fall in love again. She truly loved him and he betrayed her.
Vision was supposed to be her soulmate, the person she'll grow old with, but he just had to do this to her. Thanks to that, the witch slowly stopped believing in love, thinking that maybe she's just destined to stay alone after what happened to her parents, then her twin brother and now to her relationship with Vision.
"You're shivering… Here, take this" Y/N smiles warmly, taking off her suit and putting it over Wanda's shoulders.
"Thank you" Wanda smiles, a blush spreading across her cheeks as she locks eyes with the Bishop girl.
The nice feeling appears again, making Wanda wonder if love really doesn't exist. Maybe it's not how she thought? Maybe it was supposed to happen like this and someone else… maybe even the girl in front of her… is the one she's supposed to spend her life with…
----------------------
I'm still confused about what golden retriever energy actually is, but I hope I'm at least close😅
Thicc MILF!R being shamelessly hit on & loved on by a pair of twins, Kate & Hailee (and one of the twins is packing a massive cock)
ME OR HER?
Tumblr media
PAIRINGS: Hailee Steinfeld x reader, Kate Bishop x reader
WORD COUNT: 1,501
WARNINGS: small angst, fluff, jealousy, double ending, this is actually horrible plz ignore this, uhm it seems dark but it’s then not…., R has a son, think that’s abt it :)
NO ONE IS PERMITTED TO STEAL, COPY, OR REBLOG MY WORK AS THEIR OWN!!
Ignore this guys I hate how I wrote this sm…
The twins stared down at each other, both chugging down their shots before sharing a glance with you.
“They’re mine, Hailee.” You sighed, feeling her hand come to the bottom of your back.
“Oh, really? Whose bed were they in last week, then?”
“Hailee! Please, can we not bring my sex life up.” You looked around to make sure no one else heard the comment she made, only to remember you were allowed into the VIP section with the two women and only them. Kate turned to face you, hoping her seductive eyes would cause you to fall into her trap.
“Baby, we’ve been together so long-“
“We were together, Katie. Look, both of you, I’m single now and I want to keep it that way, and I don’t want to mess up your relationship anymore than I already have.” You tried to move from the booth, but you were soon pulled in by Hailee and felt yourself being placed onto her lap.
“Hailee, it was a last time thing, never to happen again.” She groaned and wrapped her arms around your waist, placing a peck on your shoulder with a grin.
“Please, love, I’ll give you the entire fucking world if you just let me.” Your eyes fell on Kate who was biting her lip to hold back, her fingers tightening around her glass.
“You know you want me, Y/N, that’s why you can’t resist me. We’ve gotten together so many times because in the end you know you can’t get rid of me.” She spoke up, tapping the table with her other hand.
“We’ve also broken up just as many times, and I don’t want to be with either of you again.” She scooted impossibly closer, placing her hand on your thigh that Hailee tried to push off.
“And James? He loves me, baby, he even called me mama. Don’t you want someone who your dear little boy loves?”
“Don’t bring him into this.” She smirked at your annoyance, and Hailee’s hold on your waist tightened. It made you remember where you were and caused you to tense. Kate suddenly stood and soon found herself standing right in front of you as she looked down, desperate to reach out and touch you.
“There’s nowhere to go, Y/N. We own this piece of shit, you think they won’t listen to us? You’re locked in, and you’re not leaving until you tell us who you want.” You gulped fearfully, eyeing the door that you noticed was turned in a different direction and realized she wasn’t lying. Your breath became uneven as you thought about your options, it was very few.
“And if I couldn’t choose? What then?”
“You will choose, there’s no other choice.” Hailee responded, and you were forced to remember her intoxicating touch and raspy voice. You worried that if she moved then you’d feel more than you wanted, and you’d have an even more difficult time deciding between who to let go.
“Please, if you let me go, I’ll tell you! James is home and my friend is with him, he misses his momma.” You began growing scared of the two women and what they could do, even if you had known them for years it felt like all of that had vanished.
“Don’t you worry about him, love, he’s perfectly fine.” The younger twin, Kate, reassured you.
“We wouldn’t dare hurt him or you, baby, you just need to come to terms with yourself already.” Hailee followed her sister, the two holding a heavy eye contact that you couldn’t read.
ENDING 1: KATE
“I- I can’t decide, I shouldn’t have to; this is foolish!” Kate stared you down with determination, her lips aching to collide with yours as you glanced between her eyes and mouth on occasion.
“We both know it’s always been me, Y/N. Ever since high school it’s been me, Hailee was only some dumbass you used when you missed me and you know it.” The twin was growing a deeper level of anger the more Kate spoke, and she quickly came to defend her side.
“Remember all those talks we shared? Remember how you’d come to me and cry on my shoulders because you felt so guilty that you still loved me whenever you were with her? I know you need me, you’ve always loved me.” You sighed and tried to loosen yourself once again. You made eye contact with Kate, giving a sad smile as you leaned your head down.
“Hailee, Kate’s right. I’m sorry but, it’s always been her, even when I loved you I always loved her more. I’m sorry.” You bit your lip as you played with your fingertips, and you felt guilt beginning to invade your body. This wasn’t fair. Why were they doing this to you?
“Yes! I knew it! I fucking told you, didn’t I?” She glanced at her sister with a smirk that carried a smile behind it, shrugging her shoulders as she placed her hand on top of yours to guide you up for her lap.
“You’re a bitch, you know that?”
“Mm, call me a bitch all you want but I’m the one who won in the end?” You shared a shocked glance between the two, your eyebrows raised and your mouth slightly agape.
“Wait, this was all just a stupid bet between you two? You got me scared for nothing?” They both laughed lightheartedly as if you hadn’t been in true, genuine fear only moments ago.
“It was just a little joke, baby. Well, plus a twenty-dollar bet between us.” Hailee handed her the bill from her pocket with an eye roll.
“So, that was all for nothing? I thought you two were going to, like, I don’t know, kill me, or something!” Hailee stood suddenly, and it was still difficult to make eye contact with her knowing deep down she was hoping you chose her.
“Oh, please, this one here cries when she steps on an ant, you really think she’d try to hurt you?”
“You’re the one still scared of spiders!”
“So are you!” You let out a breath of relief as the two began a banter, your mind now at ease as you knew you were safe in the arms of Kate.
ENDING 2: HAILEE
“I- I can’t decide, I shouldn’t have to; this is foolish!” Kate stared you down with determination, her lips aching to collide with yours as you glanced between her eyes and mouth on occasion.
“We both know it’s always been me, Y/N. Ever since high school it’s been me, Hailee was only some dumbass you used when you missed me and you know it.” The twin was growing a deeper level of anger the more Kate spoke, and she quickly came to defend her side.
“Remember all those talks we shared? Remember how you’d come to me and cry on my shoulders because you felt so guilty that you still loved me whenever you were with her? I know you need me, you’ve always loved me.” You sighed and tried to loosen yourself once again. You made eye contact with Kate, giving a sad smile as you leaned your head down.
“Kate, Hailee’s right. I’m sorry but, it’s always been her, even when I loved you I think I always loved her more. I’m sorry.” You bit your lip as you played with your fingertips, and you felt guilt beginning to invade your body. This wasn’t fair. Why were they doing this to you?
“Fuck! You had to go with that one? I lost because of you.” The older sister glanced at her with a smirk, shrugging her shoulders as she leaned her head onto your shoulder.
“Hand it over, Kit Kat?”
“Stop calling me that already, you child.” You shared a shocked glance between the two, your eyebrows raised and your mouth slightly agape.
“Wait, this was all just a stupid bet between you two? You got me scared for nothing?” They both laughed lightheartedly as if you hadn’t been in true, genuine fear only moments ago.
“It was just a little joke, baby. Well, plus an extra way to pay for my shopping trip tomorrow.” Kate handed her the bill from her pocket with an eye roll as she crossed her arms over her chest.
“So, that was all for nothing? I thought you two were going to, like, I don’t know, kill me, or something!” Kate sat back down with a grunt suddenly, chugging down her martini that you forgot she had ordered nearly an hour ago. It still hurt to look at her, but you knew you had made the right decision.
“Oh, please, this one here cries when she steps on an ant, you really think she’d try to hurt you?”
“You’re the one still scared of spiders!”
“So are you!” You let out a breath of relief as the two began a banter, your mind now at ease as you knew you were safe in the arms of Hailee.
Boundless Devotion - Part I
Tumblr media
Pairing: princess!Natasha Romanoff x fem!reader
Summary: MedievalAU. Natasha is the eldest princess of the Romanov Kingdom. As the time of her coronation approaches, she is suddenly forced to make a decision – either find herself a partner or her parents will choose one for her.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13 | Part 14 | Part 15
Warnings: slight angst
Words: 1991
In the training yard of the castle, the sound of clashing steel fills the air as the Captain of the Royal Guard, Steve Rogers, faces off against the eldest princess and heir to the Romanov kingdom, Princess Natasha.
The sun shines on the area as the two circle each other, carefully watching the other’s movement.
Surrounding them, some of the castle’s staff and the other knights pause in their activities to watch the match with anticipation.
The captain lunges forward first, his polished sword gleaming in the sunlight. With a swift flourish, he aims a diagonal strike at her midsection.
In response, Natasha sidesteps the attack gracefully, her own blade moving smoothly to parry his sword.
The crowd watches with rapt attention as Steve continues to press forward with additional powerful swings, but the princess evades every strike, stepping as if she were dancing.
On a particularly powerful thrust, Natasha ducks under his attack, extending her arm to him. Then with a twist of her wrist, she expertly hooks her blade around his sword’s hilt and applies pressure. Using his momentum against him, she jerks the sword out of his grasp, sending it spinning through the air.
The blade lands with a clatter several feet away.
Then in a swift and uninterrupted motion, she hooks her leg around the back of his knee, sweeping it out from under him.
Her sword points at the captain’s chest in victory, ending the battle, as cheers and applause erupt around them.
With a quick twirl, Natasha holds her sword behind her before extending her hand to the captain. Steve gives her a grateful smile and takes her hand as she pulls him to his feet.
He dusts himself off before giving her an exasperated look.
“Did you really need to show me up in front of my knights?”
Natasha gives him a smirk, replying.
“Well, I have to keep you humble.”
Captain Steve Rogers was the one who trained her and her younger sister, Yelena, ever since they were little. Years later, they have both mastered their sword and martial arts skills, becoming one of the best in the kingdom.
Glancing around, Steve gives a stern look to the surrounding knights who rush to resume their training. When he turns back to Natasha, he nods in the distance.
“Looks like you have some guests, your Highness.”
Natasha brushes her hair out of her face, turning to look at the directed area.
At the edge of the training yard, she finds you standing alongside another noble, Lady Kate Bishop.
Kate waves excitedly at her in greeting, and the golden retriever next to her also jumps in place, matching his owner’s energy.
Visits to the castle from the two of you were not surprising. With both of your noble families having prominent positions in the kingdom, it was natural that the four of you, including Yelena, would end up forming close bonds, having known each other since you were children.
Kate is Yelena’s closest friend while you are hers.
Well, you two used to be close.
However, ever since the incident last year on the night of her birthday, you’ve kept your distance from her, only seeing or talking to her when necessary.
Even now, Natasha can see that the only thing holding you in place is Kate’s interlocked arm in yours.
Your body is turned towards the castle, and your eyes are looking everywhere else but her.
Natasha sheaths her sword at her side and walks over to the two of you. She is knocked back slightly when the golden retriever leaps at her in greeting, his tail wagging enthusiastically.
Natasha chuckles and pets his head, “Well, hello to you too, Lucky.”
Kate’s excited energy follows, moving closer, which in turn pulls you forward also.
“That was amazing! You have to teach me that move!”
Natasha releases the dog with a final scratch before letting him return to his owner’s side.
“I’m sure Yelena can show it to you the next time you two practice,” she tells her.
Kate nods to herself, reminding herself to ask the younger princess about it later.
Natasha turns to you, giving you a hopeful smile.
“How have you been, Y/n?”
You give her a slight bow in acknowledgment, your eyes still averted from hers.
“I’m fine. Thank you for asking, princess.”
Natasha's smile drops slightly at your neutral response.
So far, her interactions with you have been like this, formal and distant, unlike the usual banter and casual teasing that typically characterizes your friendship.
Before she can ask anything further, Natasha notices a slight movement in your arm as you discreetly tug Kate, trying to get her attention.
Kate turns to look at you in question and sees your pointed stare as you tilt your head subtly towards the castle.
Her mouth opens in realization, and she turns to Natasha apologetically.
“Oh, that’s right! I’m sorry, Natasha, but we have to get going. Y/n has a meeting with the queen.”
You are practically dragging her away as she finishes talking, offering Natasha a tight smile and a small farewell bow.
Natasha’s shoulders slump in despair as she watches you rush away.
It was disheartening to see her closest friend become almost like a stranger, but she can only blame that incident which caused this rift between the two of you.
Sighing sadly, she pulls out her sword again and heads back toward the center of the area to resume her training.
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
Natasha is practically sprinting to the dining hall with how fast she is walking through the hallways.
Guards and maids dodge out of her path as she rushes by, already understanding the need to hurry, judging by the time.
As she approaches the entrance of the dining room, the guards open the doors for her to enter. Stepping into the room, she is immediately greeted by the queen’s reprimanding voice.
“You’re late, Natasha.”
Her mother, Queen Melina, sits at the head of the table while her father, King Alexei, occupies the opposite side. Yelena is positioned on the table's side facing her, subtly shaking her head in warning as her eyes gesture meaningfully toward their mother.
Natasha thinks back to how she spent the remainder of the day after her encounter with you, destroying the training dummies around the training yard in frustration.
By the time she realized how long she’d been training, the sun had already set.
Deciding there was no point in making up an excuse, she settled with the truth.
“I lost track of the time,” she replies.
In response, Queen Melina nods at the chair closest to her, indicating for her to have a seat.
When Natasha sits down, a member of the kitchen staff places a plate of dinner in front of her before stepping away.
In an attempt to break the tension, King Alexei claps his hands together and exclaims joyfully.
“Great, the family’s all here! Let’s eat!”
The members of the royal family start eating their meals, except for Queen Melina, who instead turns her attention to Natasha.
“I heard that you were at the courtyard today, training with the royal guards.”
“I was,” Natasha responds casually.
“What about your studies?”
“I already finished them all.”
“If you had told me earlier, I could have given you the next part of your lessons,” Melina admonishes before continuing her lecture. “You are about to be crowned soon as the next ruler of the kingdom. There’s always more that you can learn.”
A small snicker from Yelena catches Melina’s attention, causing her to direct her lecturing tone to the younger princess.
“And you should not laugh at your sister. At least she finished her studies. I heard that you didn't even show up for your lessons. Where exactly were you all day?”
Yelena shrugs nonchalantly before looking down next to her chair at the Akita dog eating from her bowl.
“Fanny wanted to go out for a run, so we spent the day out in the fields.”
At the sound of her name, the dog looks up attentively.
In response, Yelena gives her a gentle scratch on the head, before turning the dog's face toward her mother.
“You can’t say no to this face,” Yelena coos.
Melina gives the two of them a deadpan look before shifting her gaze forward to her husband.
Alexei chokes on his food in slight panic when he realizes her attention has now turned to him.
“Our daughters have inherited your adventurous spirit,” Melina remarks accusingly.
“That’s my girls!” Alexei exclaims proudly before he catches the sharp glare from Melina. “I-I mean, girls, your studies and lessons come first. You know how important they are to your mother.”
Melina sighs defeatedly, shaking her head at his poor attempt at scolding. She returns her attention back to her eldest daughter.
“I have scheduled several meetings for you this week, Natasha. They’re with the daughters from some of the noble houses, so be sure not to miss any.”
Furrowing her eyebrows in confusion, Natasha brings her cup up for a drink as she asks for more information.
“What are the meetings for?”
“To find you a partner, of course.”
Natasha spits out her drink in surprise, coughing as she reaches for a napkin.
“Mind your manners, Natasha,” Melina chastises.
Ignoring her mother's reprimand, Natasha exclaims in outrage.
“Why am I looking for a partner?!”
Unfazed by her tone, Melina answers her question with a serious expression, “Taking on the responsibilities of the kingdom is a lot for one person. You should have someone at your side.”
Natasha makes a sound of disagreement and gestures at her in accusation.
“A couple of months ago, you told me that I was fully prepared to take over the throne,” she reminds her mother. “You’ve never mentioned that I needed to have someone back then!”
“Well, that was before I realized that you have obviously made no attempt at looking for a potential partner. So I took the liberty to invite these lovely candidates to help you get started, and you will meet with them.”
Natasha huffs and crosses her arms, shaking her head in disbelief.
Seeing her reluctance, Melina continues, declaring, “If you cannot find someone by the time of your coronation, your father and I will choose one for you.”
Natasha’s eyes widen, and her mouth hangs open in shock at her words.
This was not fair.
Throughout her life, her parents have never shown interest in her romantic relationships before. Suddenly, they decide that she is not capable of taking over the kingdom unless she has someone by her side.
As Natasha tries to come up with a way so that she can get herself out of this situation, an idea comes to her mind.
“What if I’m already in a relationship with someone?” Natasha asks.
Three sets of eyes stare at her with varying looks of disbelief on their faces.
Yelena speaks up first, giving her a skeptical look.
“Nat, you’re popular throughout the kingdom, but the truth is, you spend more time with your sword than you do holding a lady's hand.”
Natasha subtly kicks her sister under the table in response to her comment, causing her to curse in pain.
“Watch your language, Yelena,” Melina reprimands her before resting her clasped hands on the table and focusing on Natasha. “But she’s not wrong. I have not seen you romantically close with anyone,” she points out accusingly.
Without hesitation, Natasha smoothly lies, “We’ve been meeting in secret.”
Melina examines her critically, and she matches her mother's intense stare.
When Natasha’s gaze doesn’t waver, Melina relaxes her posture and relents.
“Alright then, if you could tell me who you are in a relationship with, I will cancel all of the meetings.”
The name rolls off naturally on her tongue before Natasha can even stop herself.
“Lady Y/n Dreykov. I’m in a relationship with Y/n.”

October Special Masterlist 2024
Inside a stylish penthouse in the heart of Brooklyn, Natasha Romanoff’s Halloween party was in full swing. The Avengers along with their plus ones all enjoying a drink of Halloween themed punch while music played in the background. You had been excited for this tonight since your roommate, Kate, handed you the invite. Weeks of thinking of the perfect costume soon came down to one costume, a costume you would hope would get the attention of one particular blonde.
Yelena Belova, Natasha’s younger sister. The woman who gave you butterflies without even noticing, the woman who surprised you with her personality and will to never sugarcoat things. Not only was she Natasha’s sister but also one of the closest friends of your roommate, Kate Bishop. Although your little crush on Yelena was not a secret to the archer who was also one of you closest friends since childhood, she teased it about you almost daily.
“So, what do you think?” you smiled nervously as you showed off your costume to Kate. There you stood in front of your best friend in a round washing basket with a mac n cheese logo on the front, the rest of your upper body covered in yellow painted crafts in the shape of macaroni. In your left hand you held a large hand make fork.
“Well, if you don’t get her attention now, I have no idea what you can do” Kate broke out in laughter, “I love it!” she added.
“Do you think she’ll like it?” you asked, unsure if Kate was being honest with you.
“I think she is going to love it” the blue eye woman assured you, “come on, we’re gonna be late” she added.
As you entered Natasha’s penthouse with Kate, you took a moment to take in the atmosphere and the decorations, twinkling lights hung from the ceiling, some guests danced to the beat of upbeat Halloween themed songs while others stood around enjoying small talk with a drink in their hands. Everybody was dressed up from Vampires to late celebrities. From across the room, your eyes locked onto Yelena as she spent more time taking in the city lights of New York from the window.
“Do you want a drink?” Kate asked, distracting you from admiring Yelena who was dressed as Billy the puppet. “A soda, please” you replied with a soft smile. Kate nodded and wandered off to the bar leaving you behind to greet other guests such as Wanda, Thor and Scott before Kate would return with your drink.
“Thank you”
“Go over and talk to her!” Kate encouraged.
“I will, just not right now” you looked at your friend, “gotta play it cool” you added.
As you took a sip of your soda, Yelena turned around and locked eyes with you and with a smirk on her lips she couldn’t help but wander over to you. “I’ll leave you to it!” Kate whispered before mingling with other guests.
“What on Earth are you wearing?” Yelena chuckled, her voice cutting through the noise around you both, “did I miss the memo? Were we supposed to dress up as food?” she added.
“Are you mac’ing fun of me, Belova?” you asked with a chuckle.
“Me? No, never!” She smiled, “I just didn’t expect this” she added.
“One could say I’m serving looks and a side of cheesy allure” you replied, causing Yelena to shake her head playfully at you, “the puns are painful” she added, chuckling. “You’re missing one thing though” she added.
“What would that be?” you asked with a cocked brow.
“I’ll be back, stay here” Yelena replied before she dashed off into a different room. Your cheeks felt warm from the light, playful flirting, you were sure this was going perfectly!
Yelena returned in no time, “here, you forgot the best part, the hot sauce” she said, carefully placing the bottle of sauce on your costume, mangling it between some of the crafted macaroni.
“Oh, how could I forget!”
“Now you’re the best one dressed here” she smiled, “but the longer I look at you, the more I am craving mac n cheese” she added.
“Well, If you wanted too and I am totally down for it, maybe we could get some after the party?” you offered.
“Sounds good to me” Yelena smiled once more.

Rewind (Bridgerton)
Tumblr media
Pronouns: He/Him
Relationships: Anthony Bridgerton x Kate Sharma, Penelope Featherington x Colin Bridgerton, Benedict Bridgerton x Reader, Anthony Bridgerton x Reader, Kate Sharma x Reader, Penelope Featherington x Reader, Colin Bridgerton x Reader
Soulmate AU, Polygamy, Reader is autistic
Warnings; Mentions of homophobia? Mentions of absent parents, Christianity but the Reader doesn't believe in God, Talks of Unwanted touching, Talks about canonical child death and sickness
This is just a small excerpt because no one else will fulfill what I need because I am very much in love with the people surrounding Bridgerton. IDK if I'll continue it.
You weren't the eldest son, nor were you the youngest. A Classic middle child, having your older brothers torture you and your younger ones followed in their footsteps soon enough. But all of your siblings wanted one thing.
Your parent's attention.
Your father, The King George, was a mad men, at least he was considered one. Your mother was too busy ruling England and keeping everything picture perfect to really care about you guys.
Well you didn't really count yourself as one of your siblings.
Simply because you weren't meant to be here.
When you were first taken to this universe, you had been a babe, just freshly born. It was strange, to have full consciousness when being a young'en. The minute you could, you were walking and talking, far earlier than any other babe, but you had too.
By the time you were five, you had been considered a spectacle. The prodigal son, they claimed. You had your wits, you were respectable, truly the perfect gentleman.
You played your cards right, up until you couldn't.
Growing older meant more siblings, and you took care of them the best you could. But you hated these new rules. You couldn't be alone with a woman who wasn't a relative, your brothers were rude and loved it, and your sisters were innocent. Naive really, which you felt was a strange thing. To know about Sex but they couldn't. You tried to teach your sisters as well, education was the future.
But it was all useless.
Eventually you became a recluse. You stuck to yourself, in your room with instruments. Your English guitar, harp-lute, piano, and even the improper ones like a violin, cello and flute. You had to make the best of a situation, and that was what you did.
Even well into your adulthood, your brothers were still your biggest bullies. They thought you were a prude for never having Sex, which frankly if women couldn't without being criticized and shamed, then you shouldn't either. They said you were secretly a woman, or queer.
Well you could attest you weren't a woman, and well you kind of were queer. Bisexual, but they wouldn't know that word.
But you were brought into this universe for some odd reason. You weren't sure why, you didn't really get into Bridgerton like everyone else. Not that you were different from others, you just couldn't commit to watching a tv series, but you had seen the edits.
It just made no sense for you to be the one. It wasn't until the marks appeared that you understood.
Soulmates. That was a new adaption. Apparently they were rare, rare enough that out of all your siblings, you were the only one to have one. Your mother said it was a gift from God, though you thank she only said that because the bishop was there when you got them.
Them as in multiple, that put the bishop out of his head. He said it was blasphemous, you were too entranced with them to care. A matching soulmark would tie you to these people. 5 people.
That was a lot of people to keep happy. Especially when this century wasn't very happy with queer couples and polyamory. After that, your mother had insisted you hide them, and you weren't willing to risk a Romanov situation because people were too religious.
Your mother didn't like that you weren't religious, but she didn't bring it up again after one intense arguement that caused you to leave for a few weeks.
But you agreed with her, you wouldn't tell others. You were here to find a way out, you already had some ideas, one being a specific spot in the woods where you found something from the future.
A portable Radio/Cassette player. Wasn't that far in the future where you were, but it would work. You had headphones with it, and you finally felt some sort of sanity. Music in this era wasn't nearly as relaxing as yours was.
Keeping to yourself was easy after that. Every servant was ordered to knock on your door loudly by you, and to stop any sibling that would come your way just in case they caught you. Your servants were almost your friends, you knew they were reqired to be there, to be kind to you, but it was the closest you had to an actual relationship.
You stayed away from your mother on days like this. She's irritated, you don't know why, you don't care to ask. Your siblings are stomping around the palace but you don't move from your room, you instead walk around your room, shirtless, listening to your music. Your favorite servant, Zelena, is behind you, just watching you. She's always been touchy with you, your hair, your chest, you assumed it was just the way she communicated. And while you were uncomfortable with it, your mother had told you that you couldn't afford to be rude to people.
Zelena stayed next to you while you played the English Guitar. You knew enough about it in your old life, having made adjustments to the strings to be able to play older songs. The ones you could remember (Which you wrote down because eventually, you wouldn't.)
You ignore the knock at the door, simply nodding your head to Helena, who opens the door gently.
A gentleman is at the door, he's staring at you the minute he walks in. Like he's almost amazed at you, you didn't understand.
You never did.
He seems to look at you yet avoids eye contact. You set the instrument down to the side, gently. "Can I help you sir?"
He says your name, and you nod your head. "Can we be alone?" He asks. Your mother said it was improper to be with women alone, not men. So you nod your head and your maids walk out of the room. You figured this man was a duke or something, he had to be important considering he was in the castle. Perhaps a suitor for one of your sisters.
"My name is Benedict Bridgerton."
"Bridgerton? I've heard stories about your family before from my mother. She enjoys the drama that surrounds your family." You tell him, "Last I heard the Viscount found a wife."
"My brother, Anthony." He confirms.
"What brings you to my room?" You question. "Surely it's not to tell me about your family?"
"I just had to meet you."
"You really didn't." You frown slightly, to be fair, you knew a bit about Benedict. You weren't the biggest fan of his story, kidnapping a bride from her wedding day and tying her to a pole. It was strange, but you couldn't change the writers opinion. At least you think that was his story, TikTok could only tell you so much and it's not like you read the books.
You could only hope that it was different in the tv series, considering that's where you were right now. The actor himself you knew very little about as well, but you didn't really care for actors. You stood from the couch in your room, "Why is the artist here?"
"You know of my work?"
"I know a lot of things Sir." You take a few steps away from the couch. "Can you get to the point?"
He seems unsure now, fiddling with his fingers. "You're my soulmate" He tells you, and you look down at one of your marks.
"Which mark are you?" You question, and he looks hopeful. He pulls up his sleeve, the little feather on your wrist, in matching spots. You looked at your own and slightly traced it.
"Benedict!" The voice is angry and your door opens. You glare at the person who opened it. He didn't knock. It's Anthoyn Bridgerton, looking angry. "Benedict what are-"
"Next time Viscount I would ask that you knock instead of rudely interrupting." You cut him off, glaring at him. He seems to have brought a group of people behind him. Benedict stands up and walks right next to you. You put your hands behind your back, picking at your wrist. "It seems you've brought company." You tell Benedict.
"I was about to explain." He tells you, but you look at Anthony, more specifically behind him. You can see your mother through the crowd.
"If we must speak, we will not do it in my room." You grab Benedict's wrist, still refusing skin-to-skin, and pull him with you. Your glare causes the eldest Bridgerton to move to the side, he walks next to his wife.
Outside your room is a lot of people, it's almost overwhelming. There's the Featheringtons, really you only recognized Penelope but you knew by the yellow dress that they had to be her relatives. You could guess they were her sisters and the eldest-looking was her mother. You then saw your own mother, with what seemed like all of your siblings behind her. You rolled your eyes, your eldest brother seemed to glare at you. He hated you though, and you didn't particulary care. You just hated the drama that came with them. Then the Bridgertons. All of them, it seems. The eldest Bridgerton son is there with his wife, Kate. As is their mother, then Benedict who was next to you, Colin who seemed to glance between you and Penelope, Daphne with her husband, Simon. Eloise, Francesca (you truly hoped she got a better story in this show than the books), Gregory and Hyacinth.
"Brimsley, a pleasure to see you again." You avoid everyone to speak to your mother's right-hand man.
"Perhaps if you came out of your room more sir."
"Ah but if I did I might just die." You smile slightly, "Especially if I see William's face." Your brother takes a step towards you but quickly faltors at your mother's expression. "What have I done to warrant a family meeting without me."
"Being born really." George remarked and you smiled at him, cruelly.
"Brother you make me wish I wasn't and that instead I was with Charlotte, Amelia, Alfred and Octavius." What you said was cruel. Amelia died of tuberculosis, Alfred and Octavius died of smallpox, and the young Princess Charlotte who you weren't really sure how you died, you were barely there during the funeral. George (The fourth?) seemed to quiet down, looking sad. You were being rude, you didn't care. They back you into a corner and you attack, like always. "Edward! If you want to strike me you might as well try, but we both know you lack in that department, and many others."
"Quiet." Your mother tells you, and you wish you could care but you didn't. "This doesn't pertain you." She says your name gently, as if convincing you to calm down.
"Obviously it does if it has my soulmate running towards me." You jest towards Benedict. "What? Now that my attraction to men is out we must kill them all? It's not like it's been a secret."
"It is not godly." One of your brothers say.
"God is not Godly." You dennounce him, "You follow a book that has been rewritten multiple times, through many different languages. I do not believe in your God, you know that."
"Hush." Your mother calls your name and you just stare at her. "This was for the better of the Kingdom."
"Why does the Kingdom matter more than I?" You question, "Frankly, none of this does. But why are the Bridgertons and the Featherington's here?"
"You know who we are?" One of the other Featherington sisters say, she seems hot, considering the red to her face.
"I know of Penelope." You looked to her and nodded. "Who wouldn't? She's absolutely beautiful." You notice the looks that you recieve after you say your words. "Did I do something wrong?"
"No, I just think its best-"
"She wants to discourage us from going after you." Benedict says as he grabs your wrist causing you to look at him.
"Us?"

A Surprise Visitor (Kate x Romanoff!Reader)
Kate Bishop Masterlist
Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
Kate Bishop fumbles the key to her girlfriend's apartment, finally managing to slip it into the lock.
Turning the key, Kate can't stop the smile spreading across her face as she steps through the door she'd just opened.
No, Kate didn't live with her girlfriend, but she loved having a key, so that Kate could surprise (Y/n) after work.
Kate enters the apartment, questioning the smell of macaroni and cheese.
"(Y/n)!" the young archer calls.
(Y/n) sticks her head out of the kitchen, smiling at the sight of her girlfriend.
"Katie!" (Y/n) smiles, leaving the kitchen to meet Kate in the living room. (Y/n) has to stretch up on her tip-toes to give Kate a kiss.
"Are you making macaroni?" Kate asks, taking another sniff of the cheesy smelling air.
"My sisters are coming over for dinner," (Y/n) replies. "You're welcome to stay. I'm also making a meatloaf and cornbread."
Kate's stomach grumbles and (Y/n) laughs.
"I think I'll stay," Kate says and (Y/n) beams.
Kate follows (Y/n) back into the kitchen, hopping onto the counter.
"And you're making cake?" Kate asks as (Y/n) returns to the mess of ingredients beside her stand mixer.
(Y/n) hums, glancing up at Kate. "I'm making a German chocolate cake."
(Y/n) pours the flour into the bowl, and Kate laughs as some of the powder sticks to (Y/n)'s eyebrow.
"Come here," Kate says, smiling widely.
(Y/n) obliged and Kate dusts the flour off (Y/n)'s face. (Y/n) smiles slightly, returning to her bowl.
Kate finds herself watching (Y/n) as the younger woman adds ingredients to her bowl.
There is a knock on the apartment door, and (Y/n) looks up at the door.
"Kate, honey, would you grab the door?" (Y/n) asks, the pet name slipping out of her mouth.
Kate flushes, sliding off the counter. She presses a kiss to (Y/n)'s temple before she walks towards the door.
Kate opens the door, allowing Natasha Romanoff and Yelena Belova to walk into the apartment.
"Hi," Kate smiles at the two Avengers, lowkey fangirling inside.
(Y/n) emerges from the kitchen to hug her sisters.
"Are you making macaroni?" are Yelena's first words.
(Y/n) laughs. "I know it's your favourite," she replies. Natasha looks comically betrayed before (Y/n) speaks again, "And I'm making a German chocolate cake."
Natasha's mouth closes in a comical 'clop.'
"So, who's this?" Yelena nods to Kate.
"This," (Y/n) lets her arm link with Kate's, "is my girlfriend, Kate."
Natasha and Yelena study the dark haired woman closely, as though inspecting the archer to tell whether she was good enough for their baby sister.
"Please don't kill her," (Y/n) unravels herself from Kate and makes her way back into the kitchen.
Kate, Yelena, and Natasha sit in the living room, and (Y/n) keeps peeking her head out to make sure her sisters hadn't killed her girlfriend.
"Kate, can you come help me?" she finally asks, and when Kate enters the kitchen, she almost laughs at the relieved look on her girlfriend's face.
"I thought it was over," Kate buries her face into (Y/n)'s shoulder and (Y/n) finally laughs.
"I'm sure they wouldn't have done anything with me here," (Y/n) says, her tone teasing. Kate pulls back, looking horrified.
"So I can never see them without you," Kate says firmly. "Or I'll die. Got it."
(Y/n) just laughs, turning back to her macaroni, where she layers some breadcrumbs and cheese over the macaroni and slides it into the oven.
Yelena hears (Y/n) say, "Can you please feed Liho?" and Kate hum her acknowledgement.
"I like her," Yelena comments and Natasha chuckles.
Kate pours some of the cat's food into his bowl, and adds a little bit of wet food to moisten the food.
The black cat streaks out from (Y/n)'s bedroom, and begins munching on his dinner.
Kate resumes her place perched on the edge of the counter, watching as (Y/n) finishes cooking dinner.

Puppy Love
Kate Bishop x Fem!Reader
Prompts | 1,683 Words
“Is it so obvious how infatuated I am?”
18+ | Minors DNI | Alluded to Smut
Tumblr media
Kate watched you as you danced, her eyes were stuck on your body as it swayed along in perfect rhythm to the beat of the salsa music., "Kate Bishop, you're drooling.," the brunette glared over at her best friend who met her with a petty little smirk., "What?"
"I-Is it so obvious how infatuated I am?," she stuttered worriedly, the last thing the up and coming Avenger needed was for her "silly little crush" on you to get in the way of this weeks mission., "Painfully so Kate."
"I just can't help it.," she groaned pitifully and was met by chuckling—you were perfect in every sense of the word., "She's gorgeous."
——
Kate had taken a liking to you from day one, she stuttered through her introduction of herself, even offering you your own name back in lieu of hers because she was that nervous. Not only were you Natasha and Clint's more recent protege, but you were breathtakingly gorgeous, and apparently another mentor. Even if you were only a few years older than the girl, you'd learned the ropes, and elevated with Shield rather quickly before Avenging.
Yelena truly felt bad for the girl, she was nearly as clueless as Fanny was whenever she faked throwing her toys for her own amusement. There was no doubt in the blonde's mind that you shared in the infatuation, especially when she found out that you begged Fury to have her be your direct partner instead of having Kate.
Dancing was usually an intimate entanglement, and it was clear if you'd been partnered with Kate you'd likely stumble in the process of learning the salsa. The blonde has trained with you all week thus far, but today she had plans to speed this painstakingly slow love story along between you and the archer., "Oh no."
Your feet stilled when you heard a thud that was then followed by Yelena's pained yelps. When you turned around you saw the blonde on the ground, clutching her ankle, and your eyes went wider than you believed possible., "No, no, no! Yelena why?!," she deadpanned., "Oh, I don't know Y/N Y/L/N, maybe because I thought twisting my ankle would be fun!"
Truth be told she really did find this funny, because it's only a bit of plaster covered in paint over her intact ankle to give the illusion of immediate swelling. On the plus side she was likely to be babied by her older sister, and could reap the rewards of unlimited ice cream.
"What about the mission?," you shrieked, and you saw a glint in Yelena's eyes that spoke of trouble., "Kate knows the dance, she's already going on the mission anyways, so I'll have Nat take her place with Clint, and she'll take mine."
Internally you were planning the blondes murder, that sounded far too prepared to be an on the spot idea for her of all people. In the moment you were about to call her bluff, but then you met the eyes of the slightly younger woman and suddenly it wasn't all that bad an idea. Kate smiled nervously at you, her hands fidgeting like crazy as she attempted to speak., "I'm not the best, but I'm sure if we practiced together now I'd get the hang of it quickly."
"Then practice we shall.," you offered, with your hand now extending out for hers. Kate took it without hesitation, and you held back a giggle as she accidentally kicked Yelena's "bad" ankle, and the blonde nearly gave herself away when she refrained from screaming in pain until she remembered., "Ow, Kate Bishop, how could you do this to me? The pain is painful."
"Are you ready?," you turned to Kate, smiling so softly that she could feel her heart melting at the care you were showing her., "Yeah, I am."
"Good, because it's showtime baby.," your lips upturned when her breath hitched as your hand slipped into hers so smoothly., "Just follow my lead love, and it'll all be fine.," you pushed through the doors of the ballroom, and escorted your—mission—partner to the floor.
Kate's body was flushed, the sweet terms that slip from your tongue seem intentional, and not for the sake of the mission either. Hope fills her body even more when you pull her into you and glance at her lips, even if only for a second. The action wasn't lost on her, and if she's not a chicken she reckons she might act on it later., "Are perp is two groups to the right, I'll be the one who ends up dancing with him when Nat and Clint tell us they're securing the product."
Kate nodded, she was a bit tongue tied with your hot breaths fanning agains her face., "Alright, are you ready?," once she nodded you began to take the initiative in moving your bodies along to the music that just started. Remaining in a perfect set of steps together the whole way through, you smiled giddily when the archer surprised you with a small spin under her arm as you two turned smoothly.
The dancing chemistry the two of you shared was far greater than yours and Yelena's had been, and you weren't unaware of the reason. Kate has been the center of your heart for quite some time now, and you are grateful to Yelena for her fake fall for this opportunity to hold the archer even if only for a few minutes.
"Y/L/N, Bishop, we're in the back with the package—now's the time to distract the perp and his younger brother.," you leaned into Kate's ear to feign conversation., "Copy that Romanoff.," you pulled back with a saddened smile due to the impending loss of contact with Kate., "Don't have more fun without me.," she shook her head., "Couldn't imagine I would."
Within a few short steps you were tapping the mens shoulder, batting your eyes, and pulling their rigid forms onto the floor by their ties. Missions like these always bothered you, the way you had to be eye candy, and allow these grubby men access to your body in anyway. Kate's guy seemed polite—you deemed that to be because he was gay, but your guy wasn't.
His hands were rough as they gripped you by way of your hips, you grimaced as he pulled you incredibly close, his stubble scratching your cheek, and the overwhelming stench of his cheap cologne making you very nauseous., "Can't wait to get you outta here baby.," he husked into your ear, and you could see the way Kate's face paled from across the floor.
All you could do was giggle, letting the man feel as if he won you over, but you wore a frown as you met the brown eyes of your favorite girl. Kate smiled reassuringly at you, even if she herself wasn't feeling all that great about the situation., “Ladies—the package is secured.,” and just like that the two of your shared a smile just before spinning from the mens holds.
“Hey! Come back here!,” the man went to snatch you back up but Kate was right there to sock him in the jaw., “Don’t fucking touch what isn’t yours asshole.,” she grinned at the sight of the man whimpering as he clutched his face, then she turned to you with a softer smile., “Are you okay?,” you nodded timidly, then as to prevent being caught up in a scene you swiftly grabbed the younger girl’s forearm and ran out of the ballroom, only ever stopping the running once you found a secluded hallway.
“Thank you for defending my honor KitKat.,” she blushed almost as soon as she realized you had her body trapped against the wall., “I’m not his obviously, but then who’s am I, hm?,” you decided to goad the woman, you saw the way her brown eyes darkened ever so slightly under the dim lights as you asked such a teasing question., “Who’s do you want to be?”
You blinked in succession, a little shocked at how bold she was being in return, but you were also super into it., “Oh, who said I wanted to be anyone’s?,” you quirked a brow at her, but then you leaned in, her breath hitching as your lips brushed over her cheek., “I could be yours if you’d just ask, the staring is getting a bit old.”
Kate’s hands that were hovering over your hips now gripped the skin tightly, using the hold she flipped your bodies., “You were always mine.,” then before you could rebut her claims her pillow soft lips were pressed to yours, effective in shutting you up besides your soft moaning as her hands unconsciously slid to your ass, and began to knead at the thinly covered flesh.
“Fuck, Kate.,” you panted as your head flew back into the wall, your chest heaving as you worked expeditiously to fill your quaking lungs., “Not now baby, but definitely later.,” she winked at you, her face wearing a cheeky grin as you shivered in obvious anticipation., “I’m holding you to that.,” you whispered just before diving back in for another heady kiss., “Yeah, and I’ll be holding you down as I—.”
“Ladies. I’m so happy for you, but please do consider meeting us at the rendezvous spot before Clint leaves you in the dust.,” Natasha out of the blue teased the both of you through the coms that were still very much active., “Poor guy refused to put his hearing aids in after removing his specialty coms.,” she continued the teasing, and the two of you cackled, Kate’s red face now smushed into your chest at the idea of her mentor hearing all of that., “Copy that Romanoff, we’re headed your way now.,” you managed to reply between laughs., “Come on sweetheart. It’ll be okay.”
Kate smiled gratefully as she stepped in line behind you, because with your hand in hers she knew that those words were the absolute truth. Everything would be ok as long as she had you.

Kate x teen sister yes yes yesssss okay I don’t really have the best ideas but I second you writing something for that so I’m going to give it a shot and suggest maybe like maybe her sister tries being superhero-like to get kates attention bc she’s been so busy getting into the hero world but like reader obvs isn’t prepared for that kinda stuff and then yeah Kate helps them out from a risky situation and then it’s all nice (albeit a bit of a rant from Kate abt her sisters irresponsibility) and sisterly resolved! Yeah again I’m not good with ideas and don’t usually rec but I love Kate Bishop too much to let it pass
Jealousy, Jealousy
Summary: Your big sister Kate comes to the rescue when your attempt in being a vigilante gets you in trouble.
Warning: Reader gets captured and beat up (not too descriptive)
Request to be on a taglist (or multiple) here! (Taglists are at the end of the fic)

Jealousy was an infectious, suffocating disease . . . And unfortunately, you had caught it.
As much as you tried to help it, over the years, jealousy over older sister had seeped in and invaded you over the years. It was subtle, silent, at first but lately, it was attacking with full force and twisting up your insides. By now you were aware of it, and knew it wasn’t good, but what was there to do about it? You were jealous. It was a fact.
Jealous that she had become a star archer, could fence so well, was a master in martial arts, and got to go off to that fancy, expensive college. You were pretty good at martial arts too, as Kate needed a partner to practice with at home when you guys were younger, but not as good as her. Other than that, you were pretty average at everything else, at least, in your mind, that is.
All this jealously spilled out one day when you were visiting your mother in prison and were updating her on your life. You hadn’t spoken to Kate since finding out she had gotten your mother arrested. She tried to explain, but you were too overwhelmed, too shocked, to listen.
You were recounting to her how of course Kate had become a superhero and was working with the one and only Hawkeye when she interrupted with: “You can be a hero, too, honey.” Her voice was sweet, a little too sweet, but you didn’t pick up on that — wouldn’t notice it until later.
This made you stop and blink. “What?” You asked dumbly.
Eleanor smiled. At the time . . . It seemed sincere. “You want to be a hero, do you not?” She asked with an innocent shrug.
You couldn’t deny that the idea had run through your mind. That kind of job must not only be exhilarating, but also rewarding—getting to help people, change the world, and work with other heroes. Work with Kate. Get closer to her. It was the perfect opportunity to bond with her, though you shoved that feeling aside. Why did you have to be the one to reach out to Kate? To get her attention? Couldn’t she reach out to you?
Your mom always had a knack for knowing what you were thinking. “Maybe,” you admitted, suddenly feeling small. You didn’t think anything of it and just wrote it off as anxiety.
“You can be a hero, Y/N . . . You can help me. It’s horrible in here, honey. You can free me,” Eleanor said, moving closer to the glass separating the two of you and putting her hand against it.
You furrowed your eyebrow in confusion, but mirrored her action. “How?” You asked. It never occurred to you that you could help your mom.
“I’ll give you the number of the woman I’ve been working for, Valentina. She could use a smart agent like you. Do some good for her and then . . . You can get Valentina to get me outta here. She’s a little unhappy with me right now, but I know you can show her that none of it was my fault,” Eleanor exclaimed.
It was intriguing — but something felt off. The name Valentina . . . It was familiar. “I think Kate said—” You began.
“Kate’s confused,” Eleanor intervened, a little sharply. When she saw you start to pull back, she quickly continued. “She’s misguided. So is Hawkeye. They misunderstood our work. Valentina can show you—how her agents have helped people. Tell her I sent you.”
If she wasn’t your mother, if she was anyone else, you’d be more suspicious than you were. But you were inclined to trust her, she was your mother. And you and Kate didn’t really get along. So you decided to give it a shot, see if Valentina was really helping people or not.
Of course, when you contacted her, the lies spilled off her tongue so quickly and easily. The proof she showed you — it was an elaborate web of fakes. You were being manipulated, although you didn’t know it at the time, by both your mom and Valentina. You were convinced that you could help both her and innocent people, so you started doing missions for her . . . Which is how you ended up captured by Kingpin’s allies.
Tumblr media
You were sitting, tied to a chair with your wrists and ankles handcuffed and duct tape over your mouth, glaring at your captor who was holding your phone. “Let’s see how much you mean to them, dear,” the man mocked, and then proceeded to dial Valentina’s number.
On the last ring, she picked up. “Did you do it?” Valentina asked neutrally.
You watched the man like a hawk as he brought the phone to his lips. “We’ve captured your little agent,” he said gleefully in a sing-song voice.
Your glare sharpened and you heard Valentina curse. “Let’s say . . . 25 grand?” The man said.
You were sure that Valentina had the money, so imagine your surprise when all she did was scoff. Your gaze shifted to the phone, missing how the smile on the man’s mouth grew wider.
“You think I’m going to pay that amount of money for a rookie agent who got herself captured?” Valentina could clearly be heard saying. There was some shuffling, as if she was moving the phone, and then she muttered to someone nearby, making you strain to listen: “I knew she’d never make it if I had to make her believe that she was saving helpless people.”
You could barely believe your ears as you were forced to listen to Valentina mock you, eyes wide and cheeks burning in embarrassment. The man, though, he loved this. He was eating it up.
“You lied to her, then? To recruit her, I suppose?” He guessed, keeping his eye trained on you. You could feel his taunting glare and it just fueled the burning fire inside you.
“It’s none of your business,” Valentina snapped, before forcing a breath. “Look, the girl knows jack shit about me so there’s no use in questioning her—” She laughed. “—just have your fun with her and dump her somewhere, alright? I have no time for this, I’ll get what I want from you another way.”
“We already knew you were interested in us when you sent the girl here — but openly admitting it? That’s bold, especially with who our boss is,” the man said, not paying attention to you anymore.
“Kingpin’s dead, everyone knows that,” Valentina said, and then laughed again. “Have fun with your toy. I know I did, while it lasted.”
With that she hung up, having no clue that you heard all of this. Meanwhile, your mind was reeling . . . How could she give you up like this? What did she mean by you knowing “jack shit”? She told you a lot about herself and her business . . . Unless it was all lies . . .
You let out a muffled, angry scream through the duct tape. You had had an inkling that something was off with your mother’s story — especially about Kate being confused and misguided — since the beginning. Hell, you had been weary of her ever since she had been arrested, as you never knew the full reason why. You had never wanted to know, you still clung to hope that your mother was who she says she is, that your world wouldn’t be thrown upside down like Kate’s was.
Well, now it was definitely on a rollercoaster. Everything was shattering into tiny pieces that you weren’t sure you could put back together, and all you could do was blame yourself. God, you felt so stupid, so useless.
The dread set in when you looked up from where you had been staring at the floor and the man was walking towards you, still smiling like the Cheshire Cat. No one was coming for you.
“We’re gonna have some fun, darling,” he sneered.
Tumblr media
It was hours later when you started to hear crashes and bangs. You looked up at the door curiously — what was going on? Who was here? You got answer when the door burst down and, to your surprise, two purple-clad heroes entered.
“Y/N!” Kate cried, immediately running over to you. She removed the tape from your mouth and then undoing your bindings. Clint stood at the doorway, watching silently.
Your eyes widened and you ignored the sting on your lips. God, you never thought you’d be so happy to see her. “Kate . . . How did you know I was here?” You asked — confused, but grateful.
“A friend of ours used to work with Valentina — she has connections and, uh, ways of discovering things,” Kate answered cryptically. Honestly, you didn’t really care about how she found you.
“She lied to me,” you mumbled, shifting your gaze to your lap, embarrassed. “Mom told me that by working with Valentina, I could help people . . . Help her. They both lied to me.”
Kate’s heart broke as she listened to you. Despite your strained relationship, she was your big sister. She’d always look out for you. “Yeah . . . I’m sorry you had to find out the hard way,” she murmured softly, petting your hair to soothe you.
Your gaze slowly found Kate’s. You had expected her to be mad at you for falling for this, but instead all you saw were tears and regret. “I wanted to be a hero like you,” you admitted, shaking your head in disbelief. “I was stupid to think that I could do that.”
“Hey, you can be a hero, Y/N. You just need the right training. Clint helped me become a hero and now . . . We can help you,” Kate assured you.
You just shrugged, still caught up in Valentina’s words. Kate decided to let it go for now, as the last thing you needed was to feel like she was persuading you into something.
“I can already tell you’re a great kid, like your sister. You were brave even to go up against these guys. Let us help you, okay?” Clint said in a soft tone he’d usually use with his kids.
You nodded slowly and Kate smiled warmly. She wrapped her arm around you, supporting most of your weight. Clint came to your other side and they both helped you walk out of there.
You knew it wouldn’t be easy to repair your relationship with Kate, but at least it was a start. You were safe with her and Clint and found yourself leaning into her. She cared for you. She loved you. And you loved her. She was family—your big sister, your protector.
“Thank you, Katie,” you murmured to her as the three of you walked out.
“No need to, Y/N/N,” Kate said, pressing a kiss to your forehead. “I’ll always be here to save you.”
And so it began — the green envy started to seep away.

𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨
Pairing: past Clint Barton x Reader
Summary: You never expected your ex to move on so quickly, but when the holidays come around you’re forced to face the truth.
Warnings: parties, drinking, mention of death, relationship that didn’t work out (yes it is Clint and you), jealous reader, bitter reader, reader is the grinch for real for real, background sambucky, and Christmas.
Tumblr media
Every year on the 15th of December, Tony Stark had his Christmas party. And ever since you became an Avenger in 2012, your attendance to said party had become mandatory.
You genuinely had to die to get out of going. You hadn’t ever really disliked this party until 2014. When everything in your life basically began to crash and burn.
You leaned against the railing, watching the party from above. You sipped on a whiskey, the burning sensation distracting you from your misery.
“I knew he’d be quick to move on, but I didn’t know he’d have a fuckin’ marriage.” You grumbled bitterly, as Kate Bishop walked up beside you. She had a black suit on, and she looked pretty damn good.
You weren’t interested in her like that, she was twenty two and you were well into your thirties, soon to be forties. It wasn’t the worst age gap, but it didn’t feel right for you.
“At least he’s happy?” She tried to inspire some kind of enthusiasm in you.
You just huffed out a laugh.
It wasn’t hard to identify the Avengers in the crowds; Bucky and Sam were obviously flirting with each other yet were somehow oblivious to it in the corner, Steve and Nat were having a drinking competition, Thor was entertaining a crowd of young women, and everyone else was off doing other time-wasting bullshit.
“He has kids, too.” Kate said after a moment.
“Gee, thanks for reminding me. Can’t believe I forgot.” You looked down in your glass, swirling the liquid around before taking a drink.
“Sorry.” She muttered.
“Why are you wasting time up here, with me? Don’t you have Nat’s sister to flirt with?”
“What? No—she doesn’t look at me like that. I mean—I don’t think she does—do you think she does?—I kinda hope she does—does she?” She sputtered out.
“…Right. Anyway, you’re too young to be hiding on a balcony at an infamous Stark Party. Go have fun.” You glanced at her, proving your earnestness.
“You’re sure?” She blinked at you.
“Go, Bishop. Have fun.”
She smiled, before walking to the staircase that lead down to the main party floor. You watched her go, before going back to your people-watching.
“A wife.” You muttered darkly, grumbling to yourself. “I bet he doesn’t even treat her right. I could do better, and I don’t even have one wife.”
You glared daggers at the woman. Lauren. Lylah? Lorelei? Lafayette? Something like that.
She was laughing, sipping on a glass of champagne. You scowled at the sight. She was clearly a few years younger than the two of you.
Once your whiskey glass emptied, you realized you had to walk back down to the main floor to get another.
And so you did, attempting to avoid any type of social interaction. And you made it all the way to the bar before you made a terrible timing mistake.
Standing right beside you was your ex-boyfriend, dressed in a leather jacket and a shirt, paired with a belt and some jeans. They were nice clothes, so that he didn’t look out of place at the fancy party.
“L/n,” he coughed awkwardly.
“Barton.” You replied, your tone short and clipped.
You stood together in awkward silence for a few moments as you waited for your own respective drinks.
“It’s good to see you,” he said after a moment, “you look good.”
“Mm. You don’t look so bad yourself.” You said, just to be polite.
You got your drink first. “Be a dear and do me a favor?” You glanced at him.
“Yeah?” He nodded his head, quite eagerly.
“Kiss her once for me. Make it passionate; prove you didn’t use all your good ones on me.” You walked away, the sound of your shoes hitting the floor being the only noise you could focus on.
He didn’t call out for you, nor could you hear him say anything afterward.
Later that evening, you watched as he kissed her gently on the lips under the mistletoe. You laughed drily, taking another swig of whiskey. Maybe he had no more good ones left.

A/n: first time (I think) I’ve written for Clint! Also, I didn’t want to have too much fluff in these 12 days, so expect a little angst in there every so often!

Happy Christmas, I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying "I love you", I meant it Now I know what a fool I've been
But if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again

Tumblr media
The doorbell rang for the fifth time today. Frustrated at the interruptions, you slip your airpods into your ears and try to focus on your homework. Your philosophy professor was an absolute bitch, and you couldn’t take any more hits on your grades. Music blaring and half of a paper written is how your younger brother Cooper finds you, books and empty red bull cans scattered about.
“ASS HAT!” His loud obnoxious voice rings in your ears as he shuts off your music.
Whipping your head around, you throw one of your books at him. “You fucking brat!” You’re chasing him through the hallway, and down the steps before you trip over a box that he miraculously jumped over. Landing face first on the rug, you hear your little siblings laughing at you.
“Y/N stop chasing your brother and get up. Cooper, stop teasing your sister.” Cooper is groaning, and your mom is hitting him with the dish towel. “Y/N those boxes are for you and you better hide them from your father before he gets home.”
Scanning the large pile of boxes you realize they’re all to you, and all unsurprisingly are from your girlfriend. You want to be angry but you know most of the gifts will piss off your dad and you can’t help but get excited. The two of them would be home from a mission later on tonight, and you actually got to have a weekend at home with both of them.
It takes you about an hour or so to finally lug the entire pile of gifts to your room. It wasn’t an hour long task, but Cooper being a dick caused it to be worse. You were pulling the last box up the stairs when you heard a throat clearing. “Cooper, I'm going to fill your bed up with toothpaste if you don’t stop bothering me.”
“Well since you haven’t done that yet, I suppose I can’t ground you”
Your body reacts before your mind can, letting go of the package and immediately engulfing the person in a hug. “Daddy! I’m so glad you’re back!”
A flash of purple catches your eye, “Aww I’m so glad you missed me Sweets”.
Your father tenses and lets you go, “Kate, don’t make me regret letting you date my daughter.” He stares pointedly at his mentee and just rolls his eyes when he notices the two of you just watching each other. “I’m really glad everyone here is listening to me and definitely missed me the most.”
You could hear your dad talking, but your focus was completely on your girlfriend. She looked amazing in her new suit and you couldn’t stop staring.
Retreating footsteps prompted Kate into moving and you were pushed up against the wall. Her hands were all over and her lips were attacking your neck. “You look so good, baby girl. I’ve missed you so much.” She’s overwhelming your senses and your mind is fuzzy. One snap of the archer’s hips causes a high pitch whine, immediately trying to grind down on the subtle bulge. “Did you miss Daddy?”
Your body is on fire after not seeing Kate for months. “Y/N! KATE! Dinner!”
Kate pulls back slowly, sighing as she lets you go. “I swear your father is gonna either kill me on a mission or by not letting me touch you.” The archer smooths out your clothing and gives you a soft kiss on your nose.
Dinner was quick and fun with everyone excited that your father and Kate were back safely. You were in a heated debate with Cooper when you noticed Kate whispering to Lila and Nate. Your two younger siblings scampered up the stairs and you threw a curious teasing look at Kate, who just smiled innocently at you.
You watch as your father starts getting up but stops in his tracks as your two younger siblings walk back into the room dragging a sled with all the gifts from Kate. “Kate. What did you do?” His tone is stern but your girlfriend has a bright smile on her face.
“Awww don’t worry Clints, I got something for everyone!” She stands up quickly and pulls a huge box out from the other room. You watch with a fond smile as she sets different gifts all over the table for people to open. By the time that she was done sorting everyone had a considerate amount of gifts, and you had a small mountain.
Your archer sits next to you and sets her chin on your shoulder. “Go ahead baby, I wanna watch you open them.” She’s smiling widely as she rubs her hand up and down your side.
Your quiet chuckles as you open all your gifts with her chin on your shoulder makes her eyes twinkle, but your father is fuming. The gifts she got you range from something as simple as a t-shirt to more expensive like the purple diamond necklace that now sits around your neck. While the rest of your family has been long done opening their gifts, everyone but your father leaving the table, Kate was still handing you boxes and setting some specific ones off to the side.
“Kate, I know I’m going to regret asking this but what are the boxes that you keep putting off to the side?” You watch with amused eyes as your father scans the small pile of unopened boxes. He looks tense, and he’s on the edge of his seat ready to leave immediately. The dangerous look in your girlfriend’s eyes is enough for Clint to stand up, “No. NO! You need to stop corrupting my baby girl. She’s-she’s just so little.”
Your mom walks in laughing at your father, “Oh hun, Y/N is twenty. She’s an adult, let the girl have some fun.” She winks at you, and pulls your father away. You can still hear him complaining about Kate being a bad influence, and how you are growing up way too soon.
Getting ready to stand to go after him, your archer’s lips meet your ears “Open the gifts Daddy got you sweetheart.” She’s leaning in and nipping at your neck.
Her teeth sink into your pulse point and the arousal from earlier radiates through your body. Shaky hands begin opening the smaller boxes the gifts range from revealing clothes and lingerie to a new strap harness. A hand on the last box prevents you from opening it, “That one, baby girl, shouldn’t be opened downstairs where anyone can see.”
The blush is evident on your face, but in a moment of confidence you laugh at her. “Oh are you shy now Daddy?” Her hand is running across your throat, teasingly applying pressure. The archer’s forehead is leaning against your temple, and you can feel her lips ghosting along your cheek. Her deep low moan ignites the fire in your stomach and you feel yourself clench around nothing, your thoughts coming back to the fact that Kate is packing.
“I DO NOT NEED TO SEE THIS!” Your father’s ear piercing exclamation makes you flinch, attempting to pull away but Kate’s hand on your throat stops you. The disgusted look on Clint’s face is enough for you to at least look guilty, but Kate just meets his gaze with a taunting grin. “Did she just s-say Daddy?” The older archer is gagging at this point, and frantically looking at his wife for backup. Your mother is leaning against the far door frame, amusement written all over her face.
You knew that your mother and Kate had a complete understanding on how far the young mentee could push the boundaries in the household so you weren’t worried, but your father had never heard you call Kate anything besides babe before. “Don’t worry Clints, you’re the only daddy that grounds Y/N.”
Kate’s comment has your mother cracking up, as both you and your father choke on air. The hand that was on your neck had fallen to your thigh, rubbing comforting circles. “Anyways girls, your father and I came to ask if you guys had plans tonight? We wanted to take the kids out to the movies or something to celebrate our archers’ return.” Laura’s voice is teasing and light trying to push past the current situation, and your father’s eyes are pleading for you to come with them.
Your girlfriend’s hand is getting dangerously high on your thigh, hidden from your father’s view under the table, and you can’t think of anything except having the entire house alone. Your doe eyed look is a quick give away for your mother and you want to answer her question, but Kate scoots closer to you the smell of her expensive fruity perfume overwhelms your senses. Her lips come in contact with your ear, and your vision blurs some. “Be a good girl and tell your parents that we will be staying in tonight.” The whispers combined with the puff of breath sends a shiver down your spine, and you have to swallow hard for the whimper to not escape.
You send an apologetic smile to your dad, “If it would be alright I want to skip out on dealing with Cooper complaining the entire movie.” You can feel Kate’s silent laughter as her body leans into yours.
“Laura as much as I would love to hang out with you, I just spent months with your husband yelling at me so I think I gotta pick some peace and quiet.” You were too busy having a silent conversation with your father to notice Kate and your mother laughing at the two of you. The older woman is dragging a complaining Clint out the door where your younger siblings are fighting in the front yard. She shouts to have a good time over her shoulder before slamming the door behind them.
Kate is on you before the vibrations from the door slamming stop, a hand around your throat, pushing you on to the table behind you. Your back stings when you land on some small thing but as the archer steps in between your legs and the bulge in her suit rubs against your covered cunt you can’t help the guttural moan that escapes. The brunette crashes your lips together, teeth clashing. It’s messy and fast, but the two of you can barely remember a moment you had without someone interrupting you.
Your hips are moving on their own accord, trying to grind down on the bulge, as the heat in your stomach starts to spread throughout your body. A high whine passing your lips makes Kate chuckle above you and she leans into your neck; nipping lightly. Her lips trace the delicate chain that lay on your neck, pulling on it gently. The archer’s hands are clawing at your clothes, and your flimsy shirt rips at the seams. Before your pout can even come out Kate is snickering, “Don’t worry my spoiled girl, Daddy will get you another one–” She’s leaning over you now, her hand tracing your neck in thought. “And maybe a pretty little choker for you to wear.” Her fingers tangle in the chain before yanking on it. Watching the necklace sadly as Kate throws it on the floor, she just rolls her eyes at your expression.
“I am going to ruin your cunt baby girl, don’t make me fuck the sadness out of you.” Her hands finally reach your thighs, and she rubs her thumb over your covered clit. Your hips buck up, trying to get more contact but the sounds of your siblings still yelling outside causes you to stiffen up. Deep ocean eyes harden, a dangerous scowl painted on her face, “Pay attention to me, sweet thing. Daddy has another present for her spoiled little whore.”
The brunette’s hands leave your body, and you can’t help the pathetic whimper that leaves your mouth. Slowly the buttons on her new suit snap apart, and this time you do pout at the skin tight undershirt she’s wearing blocking your view. A quick slap echoes through the empty house as Kate’s hand meets your covered center, and your body flinches at the pain. “Don’t be greedy.” The rest of the buttons are ripped apart quickly and your breath catches in your throat as your eyes land on the strap. Bigger than anything you’ve ever taken before, you nervously swallow as you feel yourself soaking through your leggings.
“I- uh..” The archer shushes you before you can finish your thoughts. You go to complain but a gasp interrupts you as she rips your leggings, and a rush of cold air hits your now exposed cunt.
A quirked eyebrow is sent your way, “No panties? Someone was excited for me to come home.” She’s rubbing the tip of her cock through your folds, tapping lightly on your aching clit every few seconds.
The anger at knowing your favorite leggings were now ruined gave you a small boost of confidence, “Maybe I was planning on going to see someone else later.”
Skeptical laughter rings through the air, and Kate’s face is way too cocky for you as she pushes the tip of her cock slowly into you. The combination of the two of you moaning causes an embarrassing amount of slick to drip down your thighs, clenching down on her strap. “I would love to see someone else even try to make you as messy as you are right now-” Kate is pressing firmly on your pelvis, forcing your hips still as she drives her cock slowly into your dripping cunt, “You’re leaking all over your mom’s table cloth, gonna have to buy her a new one as an apology.” Kate’s tone is mockingly apologetic, but her expression is arrogant as she watches her cock disappear into you. Her thumb rubs your slick all over you, pulling at your throbbing clit, grinning at the broken moan falling from your lips.
The coil in your stomach was taut, and you were embarrassingly close but Kate has just started. You weren’t allowed to set the pace, the archer took what she wanted from you and didn’t ask any questions. “Fuck, is my pretty girl already close? Was your needy dripping cunt neglected that long?” Your archer hips are moving faster, but it’s already overwhelming as her soft eyes look down at you. No matter how degrading and objectifying she can get, her eyes are always a dead give away to how much she loves you and it shatters the stiff coil in your stomach forcing you over the edge.
The pain in your head barely registers as your head slams back into the cherry wood table under you, eyes rolling back and Kate’s name fills the house. The high you were on distracted you enough to not notice the seething anger radiating off of Kate as her hips still, her entire length soaked where it now leans against your stomach. You’re completely ignorant to the infuriated gaze until the brunette’s hand comes down harshly on the inside of your thigh, a burning red hand painted on your skin.
Your eyes snap open at the pain, a distressed noise in the back of your throat escapes as her high ends abruptly. The stinging on your thigh is absolutely nothing compared to the look on the older woman's face. While your mind yells at you, your body betrays you and you feel a wave of arousal hit you. “Y/N, you spoiled little fucktoy.” The archer’s nails are dragging down the front of your torso, blazing red lines fan out across your breasts. A shit eating grin spread across her lips as her nails scratch across your hard nipples, eliciting a disgruntled moan from your lips.
She grips her cock and begins tapping it roughly on your clit, watching in amusement as your hips buck each time. “Open your greedy mouth.”
Your lips barely fell open before the brunette was leaning over your body, spitting directly onto your tongue. A pathetic groan comes out of your mouth, weird and distorted as your mouth hangs open. Kate’s long fingers slip past your teeth fucking your throat deeply, a devious glint in her eyes, the cobalt almost black from lust. Her nails tap the backside of your teeth as she pulls her fingers from your throat, wiping the line of drool that follows on your cheek.
The archer’s head tilts her head, a soft look in her eyes but there’s a smug grin across her lips. Her fingers are tapping your cheek, and you want to lean into the feeling of it as it’s grounding your thoughts from the looming threat of a punishment.
“My pretty whore, so messy for me–” Her fingers are dragging your bottom lip around, drool running down your chin. The praise pushed away the slight embarrassment you had of how messy you were being in your family dining room; all thoughts were thrown out of the window when Kate roughly hooks her fingers into your mouth. Using her grip on you, the archer drags you off of the table letting you harshly fall onto the ground with a thud.
“Now be a good girl and go upstairs, we’ve already ruined enough of your parent’s dining ware. Your messy dripping cunt is going to cost me a fortune.” You can feel yourself clench around nothing, already missing Kate’s length filling you completely. Trying to be as good as you can, knowing you messed up earlier, you begin to pull yourself up from where you ungracefully fell into a pile of shaky limbs. Just as you finally begin to fully stand you feel Kate’s booted foot on your forehead, mercilessly pushing you back over. Callous laughter rings in your ear as you collapse back onto the floor, but you don’t have time to try getting up again when you feel Kate effortlessly throw your entire body over her shoulder. “Oh I forgot, the dumb princess needs Daddy to do everything.”
The second the archer had you upstairs and in your bedroom she dropped you unceremoniously in bed, heading to your closest. She emerges a few minutes later with bright purple rope and a box that you had no idea existed, a widely too innocent smile on her face. You open your mouth to question her, but she immediately shushes you. She lets the ends of the rope trail across your skin as she sets up your body where she wants it.
Goosebumps spread across your body as Kate’s calloused hands make quick work of tying your legs to your bed frame, spread eagle and open for her. “Da-Daddy what’s in the box?” Your voice comes out shaky and soft, throat raw from your time in the dining room.
The cocky look on her face mixed with the devious glimmer in her eyes makes you cautious, trying to bring your legs together forgetting momentarily that they were tied up. The dark chuckle from your girlfriend shouldn’t cause another wave of arousal, but you can feel yourself dripping onto your sheets below you. You watch as her hands flex and stretch, wrapping around the long box, and tapping her fingers on the side of the cardboard. “Well my toy, this just happens to be your punishment for coming without permission like a greedy whore. I bought this for you to play with whenever I was gone on missions, as a reward, but you decided to be a selfish brat. If your needy pussy has been so neglected, I guess you can cum for me as much as you want.” Kate slips open the box, arrogantly brandishing a purple vibrator.
Your eyes slide closed, groaning internally at what you know is coming next. The vibrations make your hips rut up, and your thighs try to close as she ties the purple toy to you. Kate stands and hums approvingly of the view in front of her, you knew she loved you wrapped up in purple. You watch as she turns around, heading back to the closet.
The whimpers that fall from your lips are pathetic before you realize your hands are still free, and you hurriedly go to reach for the power button. You were in such a rush you hadn't realized that Kate had turned back around, nor had you realized she had her bow out and the string pulled taut. A small arrow whizzing past your hand scares you but you don’t have much time to think as the upper part of your body, including your arms, gets weighed down by wide straps.
“You like that trick arrow, my sweet girl?” Her proud voice lets you know she made it special for a moment like this, and you force yourself to not roll your eyes. “Now be good, not like you could escape that arrow anyways, but I just heard your family pull up. I’ll make an excuse for you and that fun toy between your legs will be at the mercy of me.” She’s tapping her Bishop Security watch, and you realize that the vibrator is probably coded by the archer herself as well. She finishes pulling the purple hoodie onto her body over the gray sweats she now is wearing, almost teasing you with the fact that she is still packing, before stepping towards you. She leaves a soft kiss on your forehead, a quiet declaration of her love whispered against your temple.
Kate’s strides towards the door are quick and she halfway out of the door when she pokes her head back in, “Oh you better be quiet too baby, gonna tell them you fell asleep. Have a good night for Daddy.” The brunette is out of the door before you can answer, and you hear her messing with the handle before you hear some chimes. Your mind settles a little when you realize she set up a Bishop lock for your door, only controlled through her watch, meaning it would be extremely difficult for any of your family to walk in on you.
Straining your ears, you hear something crashing down stairs before the front door slams open. Kate is apologizing immediately, offering to replace whatever she broke as a cover up for the table you know you ruined. Your father is yelling and complaining about her lack of control with money as usual, but your mother and Kate are already laughing as the mentee’s attention seemingly goes to your younger siblings. You can’t quite tell what any of them are saying, but it does help that your bedroom is directly above the dining room where they all seem to be standing. The screeching of Nate yelling “Ice Cream” indicates that Kate definitely just offered to buy the family some ice cream, and you can’t help but be grateful as the vibrations continue to get higher and staying quiet is getting harder. You know that you’re already close and Kate has only been gone for five minutes. If your family goes out for ice cream, Kate’s treat, you know for a fact they will be gone for at least two hours as your girlfriend will probably drag them somewhere else so she can spoil your siblings. The arousal in your veins makes your thighs tremble and you aren’t sure you can stay awake through this entire thing, but it dawns on you as the door slams and the vibrations seemingly get turned up to the max; that is exactly what Kate wanted.

”You’ll stay back.” Yelena orders, pulling on her mask. “If something goes wrong, you come in.”
“No.” Y/N scoffs, putting on her mask as well. In stead of the mask covering her whole face like Yelena’s, her covers only the lower half. “I am coming with you, I’m no back up.” Her Russian accent is clear as she speaks. Yelena glares at her. Y/N can’t see it, but she sure as hell can feel it burning through her skull. “You can’t boss me around anymore.”
”Yes I can. That’s what older sisters do.”
“And as a younger sister, I will not listen.” Y/N follows Yelena as she starts walking towards the rooftop where Clint is. She doesn’t try to stop Y/N from following, knowing there’s no changing her mind.
Yelena gets on the roof, Y/N right behind her. As Clint hasn’t heard the two spies yet, they sneak behind him. Yelena is the one to throw the first punch. Clint is too surprised to attack right away, which gives Yelena and Y/N the upper hand. He talks to the comms he is wearing while starting to fight back. When he puts Yelena into a chokehold, Y/N kicks his back, making him let go.
He gets a change to to shoot two arrows when he pushes the sisters further away, but the two recover quickly, continuing the fight. Y/N notices a girl in a purple suit hanging onto a wire, recognizing her to be Kate Bishop. She gets back to sliding when Yelena uses the wore to kick down Clint. Y/N takes her eyes away from the girl and starts punching Clint when Yelena and Kate bump into each other.
Kicking Clint’s feet from under him and walks next to Yelena, who points a gun towards Clint. Kate and Y/N stare at each other. It distracts Y/N enough not to hear another woman coming from the wire and kicking her and Yelena down. Though they don’t really fall, as they land on their poses. They had become posers, as Yelena would call it. For Natasha.
The fourth woman fights Clint while the other three run for the gun that fell out of Yelena’s hand. Kate reaches it first, kicking it off the building’s roof. Yelena ignores Kate and goes back to fighting Clint, while Y/N fights Kate. She wraps her legs around her neck and makes her fall. After that, she goes back to Clint. For a moment Kate is too flustered to move, but she starts fighting back soon. That’s when Yelena attaches a wire to her and drops her. Clint lets her fall.
The fighting continues for a while between the four people left on the roof before an explosion throws them all back. The ringing in her ears makes Y/N groan. It takes a while to get back up. When she does, Yelena is already fighting Clint.
Everything happens so quickly. Clint pulls away Yelena’s mask, Yelena shoots him with her weapon, Kate is pointing her bow at the sisters. Y/N shakes her head, looking at Kate and standing in front of Yelena, so if Kate decides to shoot, she would shoot her. When nothing happens, Y/N throws her mask away. Kate’s eyes widen. She lowers the bow. Yelena throws a hook to the ground and grabs Y/N’s hand. Running, they jump off the roof.
“Why would you do that?” Yelena slaps Y/N’s hand when they get inside the apartment they’re staying at. “You do not get in front of an arrow willingly.”
“I made sure you didn’t get hit.” Y/N mumbles, starting to get off from her dirty clothes.
“That’s my job!”
Y/N grunts. She puts some rubbing alcohol on a piece of cloth and sits down. “Just because Natasha isn’t here it doesn’t mean you need to be my protector. I can handle myself.” She presses the cloth to the scratches on her arms.
Yelena huffs, taking the cloth out of her hand and cleaning the cuts. Y/N doesn’t fight back. She knows Yelena needs constant confirmation that she is okay and protected since Natasha died. She can’t lose another sister. So, she’ll protect Y/N like Natasha protected her before getting out of the Red Room.
Y/N met Yelena and Natasha in the Red Room. Being multiple years younger than them and getting brought into the Red Room as a toddler, the two instantly got protective over her. During her time in the facility, she also met Melina, doing some missions with her. She became like a mother to her, just like Natasha and Yelena became her sisters.
“I just need you to be safe.”
Y/N giggles, putting on a clean shirt when Yelena is done with the cleaning. “This line of job isn’t exactly safe.”
“That is why I told you to stay away.”
“You also told me to stay close to you. I cannot do both.” She puts on some sweats and sits down to a couch. “Oh this is so comfortable. Why don’t you get a couch like this?”
“I don’t need a couch.” Yelena changes her clothes as well, sitting next to Y/N. “We move all the time. How is a couch good for us?”
Y/N rolls her eyes. “Fine. No couch.” She grumbles, crossing her arms. “You’re so annoying.”
“You hurt me.” Yelena places her hand on top of her heart, frowning.
“Good.” Yelena shoves Y/N, who shoves her right back. And so starts a shoving fight full of laughs.
Y/N stares at Yelena who is making a pot of mac and cheese in Kate’s destroyed apartment. “How do you even know that pot is clean?”
“It looked clean.”
“That’s disgusting.” Yelena shrugs, not really caring what Y/N thinks. She switches the stove off, taking the pot with her. Y/N goes to the window, looking out for Kate. “There she is. She’s coming!”
“Finally.” Yelena mumbles. They hide near the door so Kate wouldn’t see them when she comes in. Kate opens the door and puts on the light, walking forward, not seeing the two. Yelena steps closer. “Kate Bishop.” Kate grabs a hot sauce bottle and throws it towards Yelena, who catches it easily. Y/N snickers, emerging from the shadows. “Hi. I made macaroni if you want some.”
“It’s her comfort food.” Y/N comments.
“I’m sorry. What?”
“Well, I was starving and you took forever, so I wanted to make food.” Yelena explains as she starts walking towards the table.
“What do you want?” Kate asks, staying on her spot.
“Relax, Kate Bishop. We just want to talk, okay?” She sets the pot down to the table. “Are you really not hungry? That fight was so long.” Yelena looks at Kate. “It’s really tasty. Really tasty.” She goes to the small kitchen area.
“Yeah, I know what boxed mac and cheese tastes like. I know it’s... It’s delicious.” Kate mumbles, still not moving. She really doesn’t understand what’s going on. But somehow, she can’t take her eyes off of Y/N. The girl has been on her mind since the rooftop fight. She knows she shouldn’t think of someone on the other side like this. Her eyes, lips, face, accent, everything. She can’t take her eyes off of her.
Y/N is staring at Yelena, but she knows Kate is looking at her. She can feel her intense gaze on her. Smirking, she turns to look at her. Eyes widening, Kate looks to the side, her cheeks flushing.
“Forks, forks.” Yelena mumbles, making the two turn their attention to her. She groans. “No.” Lifting up a fork, she turns to Kate. “You have one fork?” Y/N furrows her brows and looks at Kate.
“I’m one person.” She tries to explain.
“That’s so weird.” Yelena picks up a plastic fork. “Kate, this is not cutlery. This is not cutlery.”
“We have more than two forks even though we are two people.” Y/N comments.
Kate glances at Y/N’s smirking face and ignores the jab. “I am not going to have dinner with you two after you tried to kill me and then broke into my house.”
Yelena walks back to the table with an offended look. “We did not try to kill you.” Her voice cracks. “A, I put you on a wire to remove on obstacle. And B, we did not break anything. We are way too talented than that. And C, stop being so defensive, okay?” She shakes her head. “You’re so hostile.”
“We’re not here to hurt you. Promise.”
“Exactly.” Yelena nods. “I don’t have any weapons on me.” Y/N raises her brows, making Yelena sigh. “Okay, I take that back. I don’t have any weapons currently in my hands.” She raises her hands. Kate and Y/N continue staring at her, the latter’s brows still raised. Yelena glances at the weapons on her wrists. “That’s a lie also.”
“I also have weapons on me, but unlike Yelena, I will not lie about it.” Yelena flicks Y/N’s cheek, sitting down. Y/N slaps her hand. “Want me to show?”
“I don’t- There’s no need.”
Y/N ignores Kate and takes a pistol from the back of her jeans, setting it to the table. The she takes a knife from her boot and inside of her jacket. The last things she takes out are Natasha’s old widow bites she got from her.
Yelena takes one of the knives. “Is this mine?”
“No.” Y/N takes the knife out of her hand and puts it back to her boot. Yelena gives her a look. “Yes it is.” She mumbles and puts the rest of the weapons back to their places.
“Сука.” Yelena mumbles. “Come on, take a fork. Eat, eat. Both of you. Please, our daddy says it’s good for you.” Kate sighs and sits down to the chair across them.
“You know I do not like mac and cheese.” Y/N sits next to Yelena.
“You’re weird.” Yelena mumbles before turning back to Kate. “You’re probably thinking, what? This is crazy. I’m going to have dinner with the enemies? And she made some really good smelling macaroni.” She says with a singsong voice, swinging her hands around. “But in all honesty, if we wanted to kill you-“
“You would have already.” Kate finishes her sentence.
Yelena nods. “Right as you open the door.” She points it to make her point clear.
“I probably wouldn’t have time to shut it.”
“No.” Y/N giggles.
“I’d have been dead.” Kate nods. “Okay. Yeah.” She looks at the chair and sits down, not seeing any other option.
“You’re good with a bow.” Y/N comments as Yelena and Kate start eating the mac and cheese, the latter quite begrudgingly.
“Pardon?”
Y/N rolls her eyes. “Your bow. You can use it well.”
“Oh!” Kate’s eyes widen and her mouth stays open. “Oh, uhm, thanks? You- you’re good with your hands and..and legs.” The moment she says it her eyes go up and down Y/N, remembering the moment she was very close to her.
“What?”
“Fighting.” Kate clears her throat.
“Stop eyeing my sister like that.” Yelena glares at her. Kate opens her mouth multiple times, but can’t get any words out of her mouth. “Are you done?” She doesn’t give her time to answer to her first comment.
“Yeah.”
“I go?”
“Sure can.”
“I could put hot sauce on it?” Yelena takes the bottle and Y/N grimaces. “Ugh. I love hot sauce.” She squirts the sauce all over the food. “Yess.” Taking another bite, she turns to Y/N. “You really should eat too, so you became big and strong like me.” She turns to Y/N.
Y/N laughs. “Big and strong like you? You’re tiny.”
“Well, you’re tinier than me.”
Y/N frowns. “Shut up.”
“So, what do you want?” Kate asks, before the two can escalate their bickering.
“Well,” Yelena sets down the fork she is eating with. “It’s our first time in New York.” She lifts up her hands and does a little shimmy. “It’s a business trip, so time is limited. But we do want to see some things.” She starts eating again. “We want to see, uh, The Empire State Building, the new and improved Statue of Liberty and the Rockefeller center.”
“I want to go to Build-A-Bear.” Y/N comments and Yelena nods.
Kate laughs quietly. “Very funny.”
“What, it’s not good?”
Y/N frowns. “Is there no Build-A-Bears here? I really wanted to go there.” She pouts and glances at Yelena.
Kate hesitates for a moment. “Oh no, they’re-they’re great and there is a Build-A-Bear. Yeah you... I mean, you’ve gotta see the tree.”
Yelena gasps, clapping her hands together. “Exactly. See? I love American Christmases. The tree, the presents, the super-powered reindeer, Rudolph.” She lists.
Kate hums, nodding. “Rudolph.” She mumbles and lets out a laugh.
“He is so weird.” Yelena chuckles.
“You’re so childish.” Y/N mumbles, picking her nails.
“I’m childish? Which one of us wants to go to Build-A-Bear, huh?” Yelena looks at Y/N, brows raised. “Besides, you are a child.”
“I am not a child.”
“No? You’re multiple years younger than me. You’re like eighteen.”
“Twenty-two! Not eighteen.” Y/N groans. “That’s not many years younger.”
Kate coughs to bring the sisters’ attention back to the relevant thing. Her eyes linger on Y/N for a while, but she turns to Yelena when she starts talking again. “Have you ever eaten reindeer?”
“Cannot say I’ve had the pleasure. No.” Kate has a tight lipped smile on her face. She still isn’t sure what to think of the situation.
“It’s,” Yelena laughs. “No, it is not a pleasure. No, it’s, uhm, it’s really tough. It’s chewy.” Y/N grimaces at Yelena’s description, remembering the last time she had to eat reindeer. “You have to braise it for a really long time. But hey, Kate Bishop. You grew up here, right?” Kate nods. “You must have some recommendations for us.”
“Yeah, uhm.” She laughs nervously. “Yeah, I-I have. Let’s see. The High Line. High Line is great. Uhm, there’s a Christmas market in Union Square. Uhm.. I’m not quite sure those are the right fit for the blood-thirsty vigilante types.”
Yelena laughs loudly. “Blood-thirsty vigilantes.” She glances at Y/N while chuckling. “Sometimes you’re funny, Kate Bishop.”
“Do you say my whole name to point out that you know it?”
“Yes. We know a lot about you.” And so Yelena starts listing all the things she knows about Kate and her family.
Y/N sighs, tuning out her sister. She thought coming to Kate Bishop’s apartment would have been much more interesting than it is. She is bored. She’d rather be listening to Alexei’s stories that have no real plot line. She doesn’t even really like Alexei. The man is loud and kind of really mean. But she tolerates him for Melina and Yelena.
“Are you in New York to talk to Clint? Is that why you’re here?” Kate’s question brings Y/N back to the conversation.
“No, no, no, no.” Yelena shakes her head. “We’re here to kill him. I have a question for you. What is it? Why do you risk your life for him, Clint Barton? How has everybody forgiven him for his past?”
“He saved the world.”
Y/N scoffs at Kate’s comment. Kate frowns and looks at her. “Our sister saved the world.” She glares at the archer.
“Natasha Romanoff, she saved the world.” Yelena continues. Kate keeps a neutral face, but the two in front of her can clearly tell her mind is anything but. “Stop pretending like you’re not surprised. It does not look cool.”
“You two are really Natasha’s sisters?” Y/N nods at the question. “Wow. I did not see that coming.” Kate’s eyes are wide and her brows are high up. “Thank God, I didn’t kill you two up there.”
Yelena starts laughing while Y/N shakes her head with a grin. Kate stares at them with confusion. “You kill us?” Yelena points at her and her sister. “Again, oh, Kate Bishop. You are so funny. That’s hilarious. That one is the funniest.” Y/N nods while Yelena still chuckles.
“Natasha and Clint were friends. Why are you after him?”
“You are so fond of him.” Yelena leans her head to the side. “It tells me you don't really know who he is.”
“He came out here to protect me.”
“No.” She shakes her head, keeping her haze on Kate at all times. “He came here to protect his reputation. Do you know how many people he killed?” Kate looks down. “The trail of blood that follows him, it could wrap around the entire world.”
“Okay. Wow. That was very Russian.” Yelena hums at the comment. “He's still an Avenger.”
“What does that word even mean? Huh? That it holds so much power. You call him a hero no matter what he does?”
“It means that when you choose to spend your life trying to help people, there are going to be things that you lose. When you face the kind of threats that he has, there's going to be collateral damage.”
“Our sister is gone because of him.” Yelena says in a louder voice, leaning forward on the table. Y/N looks down at the mention of Natasha, missing her sister dearly.
“What? No. No, that is... No.”
“She's gone.” Yelena nods with a frown. “Is she collateral damage?”
“Is that what you think of your father?” Y/N asks before Kate can answer Yelena. “He died during an Avengers threat, correct? So, he was just collateral damage as well, no one important.”
“No, that’s not what I m-“
“No?” Y/N interrupts. “All but your father are collateral damage? Why is your father any more important than our sister? Or all the other Avengers who have died? The victims of Sokovia, I’m sure you’ve heard of it. All those who died without their family with them during the blip. War against Thanos.” Y/N lists. “Are you willing to tell all the dead people’s families how someone important to them was just collateral damage? Just something that happens. But that’s just life, right?” She laughs a laugh that makes chills go through Kate’s spine. “You didn’t know them, so they have no meaning to you.”
“I don’t...” Kate tries to find the right words. She stares at Y/N. She looks like she’s hurting, but she masks it well. “Of course they’re important.” Kate whispers, but Y/N looks away. She sighs, turning back to Yelena. “Look, there is no way that’s true. He would not let that happen.”
“How long have you known Clint Barton?”
Kate looks to the side, pausing for a moment. “About a week”
“It will not be difficult for us to complete this assignment.”
“Wait a minute, somebody hired you to kill him?” Yelena doesn’t answer, she just leans back on her chair, looking down while Y/N looks at her. “All I'll say is that if there is someone out there that is telling you Clint is a bad guy, then maybe you should ask yourself what kind of person hired you. He is not perfect. Nobody's perfect. But he is good.”
“However he convinced you about who he is or how many people think or call him a hero, truth is it doesn't matter. We are defined by what we do. Not by nice words.”
Tears prickle Y/N eyes at Yelena’s words. Natasha didn’t believe that. Natasha wouldn’t have defined anyone by their past. She takes a deep breath. The rest of the conversation between Yelena and Kate is going inside her ear and out the other. She doesn’t know what to think of the situation. Natasha wouldn’t like what they’re doing, but she can’t follow someone who is dead. Yelena is here, with her, and she isn’t leaving. Does it even matter anymore? Yelena and her are so deep in the business they didn’t even want to do. But it’s the only thing they’re good at.
“Thank you for the girls' night, truly.” Yelena comments, standing up. When she notices Y/N staring off to the distance, unmoving, she pulls her up by her arm. Y/N looks at her sister, while Kate is staring at her. Yelena nods towards the open window. They walk up to it. “Oh, and, Kate Bishop, do not get in our way again.” A hook clings to the floor and the two drop down the window.
Kate walks near the big Christmas tree. She suddenly stops when she notices someone familiar looking at the tree. Taking a few steps forward, she hesitates, not knowing if she should go to her or not.
“If you’re trying to be sneaky it’s not working.” Y/N speaks up, not looking away from the tree.
Kate sighs, walking next to her. She stares at the side of her face. It’s red from the cold. Her hands are in the pockets of her jacket. She is wearing very stylish clothing. Kate likes her style. “Where’s Yelena?”
Y/N hums, kicking the rocks under her feet. “I don’t know. We aren’t always together, you know?” She laughs quietly, looking down at the ground.
“Yeah, I know. I just- just thought you’d stay together for safety reasons.” Kate’s breath hitches when Y/N frowns. Somehow it’s the saddest and cutest thing she has ever seen. “Not that I think you can’t take care of yourself! I- I think you’re very, uhm, capable.”
Y/N nods, still not looking at Kate. Kate desperately want her to look at her. She wants to see her face. She doesn’t know why the young paid killer has invaded her mind, but somehow she can’t stop thinking about her.
“Why do you do that?” Y/N asks, finally turning to look at her.
“Do what?”
“Stare at me, say those weird compliments.”
“Oh, uhm.” Kate’s cheeks flush red. “I-“ This time she turns away, feeling like Y/N’s staring at her too intense. “Well, you know.” She shrugs and chuckles.
“I don’t know.” Y/N frowns. The way Kate is acting is strange in her opinion, or at least she isn’t used to someone acting like that. Her staring makes her feel this weird fluttery feeling in her tummy. “That is why I asked.”
Humming, Kate turns back to Y/N. The confused look on her face looks so vulnerable and adorable. She just wants to squeeze her. “Do you...know what a crush is?”
Y/N furrows her brows, thinking. “As in crushing someone? Hurting them?”
“No.”
“Then no. Natasha was usually the one to teach me and Yelena new things, though Yelena knew more beforehand than me, but I suppose we didn’t have enough time to learn everything.” She tells quietly, taking her hands out of her pockets to play with her fingers.
“Shit.” Kate mumbles, looking at the ground. She rubs her face, thinking what to say. She already started, but could she actually tell the enemy about her crush on her. “Listen.” She touches Y/N’s arm to make her look at her. “I don’t know why I feel like this, but I-.” Kate moves her arms around. “I know we’re on different sides of this thing, but I have grown this crush on you.”
“I still don’t know what that means.”
“Right.” Kate laughs. “It means...liking someone.” Y/N stays quiet. “More than a friend. Liking someone romantically. Fancying them.”
“Okay, okay. I get it.” Y/N stops Kate’s rambling. “But why?”
“Well, you’re very beautiful and cute. But it’s obviously not only because of looks.” Kate assures quickly. “You seem very smart and capable. You clearly know how to take care of yourself. You’re genuine in your own way. And honestly, I don’t think you really want to kill Clint.”
Y/N stares at her fingers. Does she want to kill Clint? “This mission was officially signed only to Yelena, but since I go where she goes, I take part in it.”
“So you follow Yelena blindly? Do everything she says?”
“No, I trust her because she’s doing her job as my sister. And I would not trust anyone else to do that job better than her and Natasha. That is why I do what she says.” Y/N lips are in a tight line. She doesn’t like Kate’s questioning. “She can’t lose anyone else, neither can I. Not in a world like this.”
“I’m sorry, about Natasha.”
Y/N nods. “I don’t think you should have a crush on me.” Kate’s face falls. “Those kind of feelings weren’t allowed in the Red Room. I don’t know what they are or what they mean, so you should stop.”
“It’s not something you can control. I can’t just stop.”
Y/N and Kate stare at each other. People walk past them in a fast pace, sometimes bumping into them. The air is getting colder and colder as snow falls down to the ground. “Why are you telling me these things?”
Kate hums. She doesn’t know how to answer to the question. “Have you gone to Build-A-Bear yet?” Y/N frowns, shaking her head. “Let’s go together, and I’ll try to explain.”
“How do I know you aren’t taking me into a trap?”
“I guess you just have to trust me.” She puts her hand forward.
Y/N stares at Kate’s hand in confusion. “Am I supposed to grab your hand as a sign of trust? I’m not doing that. I don’t trust you.”
“Right.” Kate drops her hand, wiping it to her pants awkwardly. “No- I- It’s just something from..books and movies.” She mumbles. Clearing her throat, Kate points towards a mall. “The store is over there.” Y/N stares at the mall, biting her lip. “It’s not a trap.”
“Fine.”
The two walk go the store in silence. At times Kate glances at Y/N’s neutral expression, wondering what she is thinking about. The assassin on the other hand keeps her gaze straight forward. Y/N’s eyes brighten up when they get inside. Kate smiles at the sight, hiding it by looking at the ground.
“Do you know what you want?” Kate asks, looking at Y/N while she wanders around the store.
“No, I have never been here.”
“Let’s start looking then.”
They walk around the non stuffed stuffed animals. Y/N picks up a brown bear, turning it around in her hands.
“Would you like to have that one?” Y/N glances at Kate, nodding. “Okay, I’ll get this wolf. We can decide a scent patch for it and a voice before they get stuffed.”
“No voice.”
“Okay.” Kate nods, walking over to the scents with her. “You can decide which ever you like.” Y/N starts smelling all the scent buttons. She holds a strawberry scented button to Kate. “You want that one.” She nods. “Let’s get into stuffing then.” She leads Y/N towards the worker that stuffs the plushies. “Give it to her.” Y/N gives the bear to the worker. She watches as it gets stuffed, cringing at the look of it.
“That looks violating.”
“I know.” Kate chuckles, giving her plushie after Y/N’s is done. “Next step is to choose clothes.”
Y/N looks over the big racks of clothes, pausing when she notices similar clothing on one of them. Kate stops next to her, frowning when she sees the wetness in her eyes. She turns to look at the costume in front of them, her eyes widening as she sees the Black Widow costume. “I don’t... I don’t think I can do this.” Y/N mumbles. Somehow she can’t get her eyes away from the costume.
“Hey, it’s okay.” Kate sets her hand on Y/M shoulder, not even thinking who she is with right now. “Do you want to go look some other costumes?”
Y/N shakes her head after a moment of silence. “No. I want the Natasha one.”
“You sure?”
“Mhm.” Y/N grabs the costume and gives Kate a small smile. “I’m sure. Not the hair, that doesn’t look like Natasha.”
Kate laughs, keeping her hand on her shoulder. She decides to grab a Christmas sweater for her wolf, after it they go to the birth certificate station. “Here you can name it and give it a birthday.”
“Why is this so complicated?” Y/N mumbles as she looks at the screen in front of her. “I just want a bear.” She unconsciously lifts the bear up to her nose, smelling the strawberry.
Kate smiles at the sight, enjoying the softer side of Y/N. “I mean, you don’t have to.”
“No, I want to.”
Laughing, Kate nods. She fills her certificate rather quickly, while Y/N is struggling with her. The birthday is set, but she hasn’t picked a name yet. “Need some help?” Y/N stares at the bear wearing Natasha’s clothes quietly. “Do you want to name is after her?”
“Is that weird?”
“No! Of course not.” Kate taps the name bar, writing Natasha into it. “That good?” Y/N nods. Buying the bears go quickly as not many people are on the line. Now they’re sitting on a bench, holding their boxes.
“I have to go.” Y/N mumbles, standing up. Kate stands up as well, staring at her. “Lena will wonder where I am.”
“Can I-“ Kate clears her throat. “Will I see you again.”
“I still have to kill Clint Barton.”
“You don’t have to.”
Y/N chuckles, shaking her head. “I know you think that, but my life isn’t like yours, Kate Bishop. You’re rich. You think you’re indestructible because you have always had a way out. Not everyone has that, especially in this line of work. I don’t have that. I can’t do whatever I want.” She stares at frowning Kate. “I need to do my job no matter what I want.” They stay quiet for a while, looking at each other. Y/N looks down and walks away.
Kate groans, rubbing her face. “Shit.”
Yelena and Y/N walk into the Christmas party, ignoring the worker who asks fo their jackets. They start walking around the huge room, going to different directions. Y/N glances to the direction of noice and ruckus, noticing Kate talking to comms. Soon someone starts shooting through the windows. Y/N kneels to the ground, away from the bullets and looks for Yelena.
“Who the hell is shooting?” She asks as she reacher her.
“I don’t know. Come on, Clint went to the elevators.” They jog to the elevators, not noticing Kate coming after them until she stops next to them after Yelena presses the elevator button.
“So, I know you're chummy with my mom, I didn't think you'd make the cut for the Christmas party.”
Yelena glances at Kate. “Kate Bishop. We are not here to ruin anything.” She assures, looking at the elevators. “We are just going to kill Barton, have some appetizers, and then we’ll go.”
“I hope you enjoy the bruschetta, 'cause it looks like you already lost him.”
Frowning, Yelena turns to look at her. “He's in the elevator.”
“Yeah. What, out of 65 floors, you think you're just gonna magically guess which one he's on?”
The other elevator dings, showing twelve in red. “Twelfth floor.”
“Damn it.” Kate mumbles. She sneaks a glance at Y/N, who is on Yelena’s other side. She is grinning quietly.
“Enjoy the party.” Y/N smirks when the elevator opens, getting inside.
Yelena starts going inside after her, Kate pushing behind her. “No, no, Kate, stay.” She pushes Kate outside and goes to stand next to Y/N, waiting for the elevator to close. Just as it’s closing, Kate slips in. Yelena groans. The trio stand quietly, Kate eyeing the buttons. She reaches over to them, but Yelena slaps her hand. “No.”
Not long after that, Kate tries to reach for the buttons again, but Yelena stops her. As two times isn’t enough for Kate, she tries again. This time Yelena throws her to the ground and holds her arm. Suddenly Kate slaps her.
Y/N’s eyes widen and Yelena furrows her brows. “What was that?”
“I don’t know. I-“ Not finishing her sentence, Kate goes for the buttons again.
Y/N takes hold of her dress, while Yelena yells out multiple nos, but it rips apart. “Oh my god, what is happening.” She stares at the broken dress in her hand. Kate points at her suit. “Did you plan that?”
With a need to impress, Kate nods. “Yes.” Yelena lifts her brow and Y/N shakes her head. “No, No, I...” She shakes her head. Taking advantage of the moment, Kate presses every single button she can.
“No, no!” Yelena groans. “Come on, that is so annoying.” She opens her jacket and throws it to Kate. “Сука.” She runs out of the elevator, Y/N right behind her after she throws her jacket onto the floor. Kate starts running after them.
The three start fighting while running and jumping over the furniture in the rooms. Kate puts herself between the two room, blocking the entrance. “What are we doing? I mean, it’s Christmas Eve. Let’s grab a drink, huh?” She glances at Y/N.
“Okay. Yeah. Sure.” Yelena nods.
“Cool.”
“After we kill Barton.”
“No. No, that’s not what... Come on. You two don’t need to-“ Kate doesn’t get to finish her sentence as Yelena kicks her in the ribs. And so the fighting continues.
Yelena slams Kate into a glass. Kate starts throwing things and Yelena over a chair. Y/N kicks Kate’s feet, making her fall down. Kate punches Y/N, hard. Yelena takes out her baton to break the window, but Kate throws something to get the baton out of her hand, hitting her hand at the same time.
Yelena flings her arm around. “Ow. That really hurts!”
“Yeah. Yeah, well, so did the kick to the ribs.”
Y/N holds her already bruising cheek. “Did you have to punch me so hard?” Kate cringes at the bruise, mumbling a small sorry.
“That was a good one.” Yelena mumbles, remembering the kick she delivered not too long ago. “That was good form. But you did the really cool body throw.” She moves her hands up to down.
“Yeah, thank you. Thank you.” Kate points at her. “Stop making me like you.”
Yelena grins. “I’m sorry, I can’t help it.” She shrugs. “Besides, you started liking Y/N without me doing anything. Which I still do not accept.” She glares at Kate. “Anyways, that was really fun. Bye.” Throwing a hook to the floor she jumps out the window.
Y/N groans, rolling her eyes. “Always the windows. For once, I’d like to go out the door.” She mumbles, giving Kate a small wave before throwing her own hook to the ground and going after Yelena. When they go low enough, they start shooting towards Clint until they land on the ground and run away.
Yelena and Y/N notice Clint on the stairs near the ice rink and the fallen tree. Yelena body slams Clint to bring him down while Y/N jumps over the railing, staying on Clint’s other side as he stays on the ground, hurt.
“Before we kill you, I need to ask you one question.”
“It’s nice to finally meet you, Yelena and Y/N.”
Y/N glances at Yelena, but the latter pays no mind to her. Clint gets up so he is kneeling, seeing the two better. “I need to know what happened.”
“Look, Yelena, Y/N.” He glances at the younger of the two. “If I told you what really happened, you’d never believe me. But what you need to know is your sister sacrificed herself, and she saved the world. I’m sorry.”
Yelena starts shaking her head. “You’re lying.”
“What?”
“You’re pathetic. You’re so pathetic.” She pushes him down. Y/N stares at them, not knowing what to do. She doesn’t want to disobey her sister, but she is starting to doubt if Clint ever killed their sister. Going against her doubts, she helps Yelena fight Clint.
Clint pushes Y/N further away and grabs Yelena’s shoulders. “Nobody killed her. She made a choice.”
“Stop lying!” Yelena rolls down to her back, kicking Clint over her to the ground where Y/N punches him as he gets up.
Clint tries to fight off the two. He kicks Y/N down. “Stay down, kid.” And takes Yelena into a chokehold. “You’re not listening to me. She sacrificed herself, understand?” Yelena takes quick breaths. “I couldn’t stop her.”
“No.” Yelena gets away from the hold and kicks him down. She helps Y/N up. “Why would she sacrifice herself for you? Why do you deserve it?”
Clint stays down. “I don’t.”
“So she died because you let her.”
“I fought for it. But she was better than me.”
“You should’ve fought harder.” Y/N grabs Yelena’s hand, trying to give some kind of comfort for the both of them. Yelena pushes her hand away and takes put her baton, hitting Clint with it over and over again until he falls to the ground.
“Yelena.” Y/N tries to grab her arm, but Yelena keeps pushing her away. “Yelena!” She kicks away her baton.
“What are you doing?” Yelena pushes her to the ground, anger clear in her eyes. She takes out her gun and steps closer to Clint. But she stops when Clint whistles. It’s her and Natasha’s secret whistle. Yelena’s face falls as she gasps. “How do you know that?”
Clint turns around slowly, staring at her. “Your secret whistle with Nat. She talked about you all the time, Yelena. You too, Y/N.” He glances at Y/N who hasn’t stood up yet.
“She did?” Clint nods. “What did she say?”
“She told me about how you got separated as kids. She was flying that plane. I asked her if she was scared. All she could think about is that you were safe. That never changed, Yelena.” Clint turns to Y/N. “And you. She told about the time she first saw you in the Red Room as a two-year-old. How at that moment she felt insane amount of need to protect you. She was thankful to see you grow up no matter the circumstances. She loved you two. And always wanted you safe.”
Both Y/N and Yelena are crying. “You got so much time with her.”
“Yes I did.”
“It shouldn’t have gone this way.” She shakes her head as tears fall down her cheeks. “If I was there, I could have stopped it. I could have- I could have changed it.”
“Nothing was gonna stop her, Yelena. You know Natasha. She made her choice. We’re gonna have to find a way to live with that.”
“We loved her so much.” Yelena sobs, glancing at quietly crying Y/N.
“Me too.” Clint sniffles. Yelena walks in front of him. She gives her hand to Clint and helps him up. “I’m sorry.”
Yelena turns to Y/N. She takes hold of her arms and lifts her up. “Forgive me, сестра.” She dries her cheeks and holds her hand as the two walk away from the ice rink and Clint.
Y/N approaches Clint and Kate slowly, who are sitting on the back of a ambulance together, taking a breather after the fights. She’s holding a small piece of paper in her hands, rolling it around in her nervousness. The partners stare at her as she stops in front of them, Kate has a smile on her face.
Y/N clears her throat. “I- I wanted to ask you something, about Natasha.” Her voice is quiet and she stares at Clint’s shoes, not daring to meet his eyes. “I wrote her letters, during our time freeing the widows. So, I was just wondering if she got them.”
“She did.”
Y/N’s head snaps up to look at Clint. “Yeah?” Her eyes glaze over.
Clint nods with a small smile. Sure, she just tried to kill him, but she is mourning. He can understand that. “She wrote you letters back during the five years you and your sister were gone.”
“Do you..do you think I could see them?”
“Of course.” He nods towards Kate. “Just let her know where I can send them. They belong to you.”
“Thank you.” She gives Clint a genuine smile before turning to Kate and giving the paper slip to her. “Here’s my number, if you want to keep in contact.”
“Can’t you like, get my number pretty easily.” Kate grins, remembering how Yelena had got her number.
“Yes.” Y/N rolls her eyes with a smile. “But I wanted to do this traditionally. And I wanted to give you the choice.” She picks the skin around her fingers. “Let me know.” Smiling, she starts walking away from the pair. A ping comes from her phone. Y/N takes it from her pocket and stops when she sees the message.
I do want to keep in contact :)
She turns around and smiles to Kate, who is already smiling at her.

Taking place throughout the Hawkeye series. Kate Bishop x Stark!Fem!Reader! phantom powers (much like Danny Phantom). Reader and Kate have known each other since childhood and have been dating. Reader does not know that she is the lost younger sister of Daisy Johnson, she got adopted by Tony Stark. Daisy knows she has a sister so she goes out of her way to look for her and finds her during the whole tracksuit mob debacle with Kate and Clint. So the Coulson team goes to Clint to explain everything.
yall have high expectations of me huh XD i'll do my best hun
--------------------------------
Kate took a deep breath. "So, yeah, basically I'm a superhero now."
I laughed and squeezed her hand. "You do know that meeting your favourite superhero and thinking you were helping him does not count as being a superhero?"
She pouts and pulls me close with her arms around my waist. "Baaaabe, be quiet and just be supportive of your awesome girlfriend, okay?"
"I can't be quiet about my awesome girlfriend." I grin and pull her flushed face to mine to give her a kiss.
"Uh uh, nope, no PDA in this house, missy."
We break away and I roll my eyes. "Dad, you're the one who said she could come round, you'll have to deal with some affection, alright?"
Tony waved a screwdriver at us. "No affection in front of my innocent eyes."
I raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? Is that the rule we've always had? Because I seem to remember a certain day when I was twelve-"
An apple was thrown at me and I let it phase through me.
"We do not speak of that day, if you want pancakes for dinner you're going to have to come hug your old man and promise that you'll do some training tomorrow."
One last peck to Kate's kiss and I skipped over to hug Tony, because yes I really did want pancakes for dinner.
The morning also featured pancakes, piled high with fruit as a compromise with Pepper. Giving each of my adoptive parents a kiss on the cheek I grabbed my training bag and ran out the door.
I was highly amused to see Clint had drawn the short straw to train me today and I interrogated him enough that we came up with a compromise- every bull's-eye I hit, I could ask him a question. I was not as good as Kate with a bow but I got a few questions answered.
I was sweaty and exhausted by the time we were done. "Alright, I'm warning you now, she will seek you out and try to help, you know that?"
Clint ran a hand over his face in exasperation. "I can just about handle you for backup when that unfortunate situation happens, I don't want to babysit the both of you."
"I am offended." I held a hand to my chest, but I could understand his view. We were younger, less experienced, Clint had come out of retirement for the dozenth time to save Kate's ass which I had heavily berated her about.
She was a nightmare, but she was my nightmare.
It was the next few days we got into some real trouble.
They were the Tracksuit Mafia, though I was still unsure if that was their official name or just what we decided to call them. It didn't really matter when all three of us were tied to carousel horses.
I could easily have phased out of the ties but I had to wait for an opportune moment. Despite Kate's incessant chatter and Clint's tired commentary, that one guy just wouldn't take his eyes off me. Damn.
A crash of a window breaking on the other side of the warehouse.
All eyes snapped to the sound.
I vanished.
It was a piece of cake to slip out the ties and slash through the others' ropes until we were all free and armed. There was no time to figure out what had broken the window when we were immediately faced with three tracksuited thugs.
In the few glimpses I got, there was a flash of brown hair, a rippling pulse of energy, a cry that sounded eerily like my own. It wasn't until we'd made our escape and got the hell out of that warehouse that we realised there was a fourth person running right alongside us.
I made eye contact with Clint and we nodded slightly. He veered off into an alley as we followed, losing the woman for just a moment. We whirled around to face her, weapons drawn and power at the ready.
She skidded to a halt, gauntleted hands up in a surrender. Her long brown hair matched her eyes, leather jacket slightly reflecting the streetlight glow.
"I'm not going to hurt you, I promise, none of you." She began, wisely not moving a muscle. "I'm Daisy, Daisy Johnson, and, uh-" she swallowed and looked right at me. "-I think you might be my sister."
I dropped, feet now flat on the floor from where they'd been hovering a foot above the ground. "Excuse me?"
Kate and Clint bristled either side of me and I reached back to take Kate's hand.
"You were adopted, right? When you were a really young kid?"
I frowned. "Yeah, but it only takes a bit of research to work that out."
Daisy slowly lowered her hands. "I only found out I had a sister a few years ago, I've been looking, I mean really looking, for the last few months." She gave a slightly awkward chuckle. "Stark keeps your info pretty close to his chest."
Clint stepped forward. "Even if this is true, now is not the time. We're hurt and need to go." He nodded to us and turned to leave.
"No, wait-!"
But we'd already gone.
Kate's aunt's apartment was closest and we crashed there; almost literally, as I realised I'd twisted my ankle badly from tripping over some general warehouse rubbish. I sent a text to Tony letting him know where I was, who I was with and that we had some crazy shit to tell him when we got back.
I got a reply saying 'language! :D love you kiddo, be safe xx' and I switched my phone off for the night.
Kate woke me up the next day, ironically by doing her best to not let the dog wake me up. I groaned, my ankle still hurting.
"Sorry, babe, did I wake you?" Kate didn't seem particularly sorry, but I pulled her down for a kiss anyway.
"Yeah, you did, but we gotta get going anyway." I sat up, accepting the slightly weird sweater Kate had nicked from her aunt's wardrobe. "Dad needs to know about Daisy."
Clint had already vanished but he was a grown man and knew what he was doing. In theory.
It took a bit but we made it back to my home. Pepper was already waiting at the door, arms folded and a frown that vanished in concern when she saw my limp.
"What happened, honey, are you okay?"
I reassured her it was just a sprained ankle, but was cut off quickly with how busy the living room was.
My dad was there, Clint too, but so was Daisy, Coulson and some other people I'd never met before.
"Uh, dad? What's going on?"
It was Clint that stepped up. "Long story short and with no sarcasm, Daisy might actually be your sister."
I stared at him, clinging to Kate. "I beg your pardon?"
Daisy shifted forward. "It's a long story and I know you might not believe me but I promise I can prove it if you give me a chance."
Kate and I exchanged glances. I located a vacant armchair. "Alright, I'll listen, but there are far too many people in my house."

"I'm leaving Lucky here with you" Kate, my older sister said as she entered the dining room, "I'll be gone for a least two days at the most. Will you be okay to handle things here?" she asked. A few, long months ago, our parents went on a business trip and are yet to return. Kate and I have been left to run the ranch and keep money flowing until they return, although we haven't heard from them, not even a single letter. My worries for them are endless. "Of course, I will be" I smiled before taking a mouthful of the porridge I made for us.
"Do you need anything from town before I go?" she asked while putting her bowl in the sink for me to wash later, "no, I think we have everything we need. Just be safe, please" I looked to her. "Always, rabbit" she smiled. Kate has always called me rabbit, ever since we were younger. It comes from when my adult teeth were still coming through, they reminded her of a rabbit's front teeth when they would nibble on their food. "I'm just going to go get Arrow saddled up then I'll be on my way" she added before walking out the back door.
I'm used to Kate leaving for a day or two, she goes off hunting for us while I tend to the ranch. We have 3 cows, 5 pigs and 6 sheep! All of which have names of their own, of course. I've been saving some money to buy a couple of chickens so we can have our own fresh eggs. My father said we'd get some but that was before he and mother left on their trip. Today seems like it will be an easy day, feed the animals then off to the general store for my shift.
"Alright, you know the rules" Kate spoke as she returned from saddling up Arrow, "father's rifle is in the case under your bed and please, don't let any of those wandering men stay too long! You can't trust everybody just because they say they've had a long day" she adds. "Yes, I know! You don't need to remind of that every single time, it was just once. Besides, Mr Lang has some very interesting stories to tell" I replied. I wish Mr Lang would return; his stories were almost unbelievable.
"I guess I don't need to remind you to get some more coffee and canned peaches after your shift then?" Kate rolled her eyes at me as she tucked a few canned goods into her saddle bag. "You just did" I replied, sarcastically. "Let's go Lucky! We don't want to be late" I patted my right thigh after placing my used bowl in the sink for laters problem. "Hey!" Kate stopped me just as I was leaving the kitchen, "be safe, okay? If you need anything Mr Barnes is only a call away" she reminds me, again!
We have a bell that Kate brought, it's rather large. I am to ring it if I'm in any trouble and Mr Barnes, the Salon owner, will come over and see what the matter is. Im not exactly sure how he's able to hear the ringing sound from so far away, we've done a couple of test runs and so far I haven't had the need to use it.
"Yeah yeah, how about you be safe? I can't do everything around here if you go missing too!" I smiled softly at my older sister, she knows I'm joking. If anything were to happen to her, she knows I'd be okay…I guess.
Lucky follows me around everywhere, especially when Kate goes off on her hunt. He'll come to the general store and wait outside by the door until I've finished my duties. Mr Wilson doesn't mind, he loves Lucky and even asked Aunt May to bake some of her famous cookies that everybody in town loves, she makes a little extra and dog friendly ones for Lucky. Everybody calls her Aunt May, not really sure why though, I think it's because she's such an aunt to everybody. Almost like a grandma that cooks everybody's favorite treats for the tea party.
The walk to town is always peaceful. In the warmer seasons, it can be rather hot but on days like today when the sun is just starting to peek over the mountains from afar, the wind isn't too cold and the birds sing their morning song, it's relaxing and maybe I tend to take smaller steps just to soak up the morning fresh air before I stay inside for most of it.
"Good morning young Y/n!" A rather tall and very muscular man smiles to me, it's Thor. Nobody actually knows why his name is Thor, considering it's a very unusual name but he's very lovely. "Good morning, Thor! Keeping well I see" I replied with a friendly smile as Lucky and I slowly make our way past the Salon. "Oh, you know me! Can't resist the great liquor that is served here" the most likely drunken man chuckles. It's barely 7am and he is drinking. I guess that's a hobby for most people around here.
Blisswater isn't a town for much entertainment, you have your basics. The Saloon ran and owned by Mr Barnes, the General store ran and owned by Mr Wilson, the doctors office with the only doctor within miles, Mr Banner. The gunsmith, Mr Barton owns and supplies Kate with discounts on arrows and sometimes ammunition for us. Mr Fury is the towns barber, my father wasn't a fan of him but when he was desperate for a cut, he had no choice but to see him. Then there's Sheriff Rogers, T'Challa the friendly banker, Peter the newspaper boy (by the way, he's love for me isn't exactly a secret!) and Mr Quill is the towns blacksmith.
So that's all there really is to know about who lives in and around Blisswater, it's a small town. A town where everybody knows everybody, and word travels faster than you can blink! We all look out for each other here and most don't take kindly to newcomers. Sometimes we have outlaw gangs come passing through, they spend the night at the Saloon, get drunk and make a mess of themselves before pushing on by the afternoon. The walk-through town the following morning is usually a sight of Mr Barnes boarding up the windows of the Saloon from their drunken fights.
The bell rings loudly as I open the door of the general store, and I'm greeted with Mr Wilson's warm and welcoming smile. "Good morning, Mr Wilson!" I smiled.
"Please, Y/n, call me Sam! I've known you long enough" he chuckles before reaching down behind the counter for the plate of Aunt May's famous cookies.
"I'm sorry, it's habit! I see Aunt May has come early this morning" I wandered up to the counter taking one delicious treat. "Lucky's biscuits are back here as well; did you bring him this morning?" Mr Wilson, I mean, Sam asked. "Of course! Kate is out today and left him all to me" I took a small bite out of the homemade goodness. "Parents off again?" he questioned, I nodded lightly. I miss them so much.
"Well, I've got the perfect job to keep your mind distracted. How about you watch the store today?"
"Alone? Me? Are you sure?" I asked with a mouth full of cookie.
"Yeah, I have a couple of things that need my urge attention. I wasn't going to open today but I think you're ready for this. What do you say? You can even bring Lucky inside if you want" Sam smiled proudly. I thought about it for a moment while I finished my morning treat, it can't be that hard, right?
"Sure! I can hold the fort as they say" I replied with a smile, wiping the crumbs from my lips with the back of my hand.
"I'll be back before closing, earlier I can. If you need anything, slip out the back door. I don't need to tell you this, I know" he chuckled, "Bucky will be around if you need anything" he assures me. I guess that's the handy thing about having your store next door to a saloon. "You're starting to sound like Kate!! I'll be fine, I have Lucky! What's the worst that could happen?" I raised a brow.
"Right" my boss smirked, "well you already know where the stock deliveries are, and you know your main duties. Just don't leave the store unattended" he reminds me, I playfully rolled my eyes at him as he stepped away from the counter. "Stop stressing, Sam, the store will be fine. Go do what it is that you need to do" I hoped the door, patting my thigh for Lucky to enter.
Mr Wilson left as Lucky made himself welcome in the store, I closed the door and treated Lucky to his own biscuit before starting to restock the shelves.
——
"Good afternoon, Y/n!" A familiar voice sings louder than the bell as the door fly’s open. "Peter! How are you?" I smiled softly as I was greeted with a smile of his own. "Oh you know how it is, busy busy!" He chuckles, "I ran into Mr Wilson earlier, he mentioned you were here alone today so I thought I'd come by and see if you, uh, needed anything" he adds. A hint of red fills his cheeks while his eyes struggle to stay connected to mine.
It's no secret that young Peter Parker has a crush on me, the entire town knows it. Although he is a very sweet young gentleman, I guess I've just never found myself interested in him in a romantic manner. In fact, I've never really thought about anybody in a romantic manner now to think of it…
"You're very sweet, Peter. Thank you but things are pretty good. I've had no troubles today and please, thank your Aunt May for the cookies and Lucky's treats!"
"Oh, you're welcome! You know Aunt May, always baking" Peter chuckles once more. I could sense a hint of nerves in his voice and the redness in his cheeks grew deeper. "Peter, is everything okay? Do you need a drink? Some water?" I asked with a concerned frown. "No, no. I'm more than fine, thank you. It's just, it's getting a bit wild out there and I thought I'd walk you home later when you're finished here. Don't want you getting sick or anything" he gives me another soft smile.
"It's meant to rain?" My frown only grew bigger as I looked out the window. Dark gray skys covered the town and beyond, distant flashes of lighting lit up the darkness for a moment. Wind blew the dry leafs onto the Main Street, horses stomped their hoofs with every crack of thunder that could be heard from the far, far distance.
"Well shoot!" I sighed.
"Did Mr Wilson tell you when he'd be back?" Peter asked.
"Sure hope it is soon, I have the animals I should move into the barn before the storm arrives"
"It doesn't seem like it is far off. Maybe I could watch the store for you? I wouldn't mind at all"
"You're very kind, Peter but I'm not sure if Mr Wilson would appreciate me leaving the store in somebody else's hands. I know you wouldn't ruin the place or steal from him but he is trusting me today and I don't want him to think otherwise" I explained as I watched the dark clouds darken, it'll be a big storm by the looks.
"I'd be more than happy to make sure your stock is in the barn then" he offered, I turned to him and kindly shook my head. "I'm sure Mr Wilson will be back soon. Thank you again Peter, you're very kind. If you don't mind, there's a few things I should really get done before Mr Wilson returns" I smiled softly, hoping not to have hurt the boy's feelings.
"I plan on having supper at the Saloon, if you need me, I'll be there" Peter smiles before leaving the store.
For the rest of the afternoon, I cleaned the store and did some stock take and made sure the store was exactly how Mr Wilson would like to have it when he returns and just my luck, he returns before the storm hammers down.
"Y/n, thank you for all your help today!" He walks into the store, placing his hat on the  coat rack. He looked rather dirty; a nice bath would be in order for when he gets home if I didn't know better.
"You're welcome, Mr Wilson! I'm sorry to leave in a rush but I really need to be getting home before the rain starts" I grabbed my things, Lucky following closely behind me.
"Of course, you best be safe now"
I rushed out of the store, glad the rain hadn't started pouring down as yet but it was coming. You could smell it, the thunder got louder, the lighting got closer and the wind got stronger. The main street was quiet as people already began to make their way indoors until the storm pushed over.
"Come on, Lucky! We haven't got much time!" I patted my thigh lightly before Lucky and I began to race home.
——
The rain soaked the dry ground as expected and Lucky and I were able to get the animals into the barn before it came down heavy. I left a lantern in the barn just so I could keep an eye on it from the house, Kate hates when I do that, says it's a waste of resources but she'll thank me one day for it.
"How long do you think she'll be this time Lucky?" I looked towards him as we both rested by the fire. He tilts his head at me as if he truly understands what I am saying. We listen to the rain dance on the roof and wind whistle outside while the fire cracks and keeps us warm. It's nights like this that I wish Kate wouldn't go off hunting, it's most lonely at night. But I know we need the money, just until mother and father come home.
"Come Lucky, let's check the barn" I stood up from my mothers rocking chair, and wandered over to the window. A frown creeps upon my brows when I notice the lantern, I left behind earlier in the night was gone. I rushed to my room and grabbed the rifle under my bed, grabbed my father's thick coat, a lantern and headed for the backdoor with Lucky right beside me. It was only a short walk from the house to the barn, but the rain was quick to soak me in its gift to the ranchers. Slowly, I pushed the large wooden door open, my rifle tightly in my grip. Lucky entered first, sniffing the ground for anything that didn't belong while I slowly followed behind him, one foot after another.
Only a few steps in and I saw the lantern I had left behind, in the corner where Kate's horse would've been stabled. "Come out! I have a gun and I am not afraid to use it!" I called out, keeping my distance. Lucky walked quickly over to the empty stable slot, growling. "I said come out!" I repeated.
"Don't shoot" a thick Russian accent came from the corner of the barn, "I won't hurt you, just call off the dog, please" the unknown voice added.
"How can I trust you? You're a stranger in my barn! I have every right to shoot you"
"Trust me, if I were here to harm you, you'd already be dead"
I took a few small steps closer to them, Lucky stood his ground and continued to growl. I wasn't going to tell him to back off just yet. "What are you doing here? Do you always just welcome yourself into other people's properties like this?" I asked.
"You ask too many questions" the voice replied, "call the dog off, please" they asked once more.
"Lucky, back!" I called once I laid my eyes on the intruder. A young woman, maybe no older than me. Blonde hair that was braided and she certainly didn't seem to dress how most women dress. Beside her was her gun belt and holster, her hat placed freely beside them. The woman was covered in blood, her right hand pressed tightly against her left shoulder. "You're hurt" you spoke softly while keeping my rifle pointed at her.
She chewed her bottom lip and nodded, "I'll be gone by morning, I just need a place to stay for the night"
"How can I trust your word?" I asked. The woman smirked like I had just made a joke, an odd joke if my question was funny to her.
"I know better than to kill a rich small-town girl" she replies causing me to frown at her words.
"I am not rich girl. So, if you planned on robbing me later, you would find nothing, I can assure you of that"
She chuckled, "well, maybe not rich but you are well off than others. Besides, I have no interest in robbing homesteads"
"You know nothing about me" I snapped, pointing my rifle at her a little higher, aiming for her head. "Get off my property!" I demanded. Lucky growled once more, showing the unknown intruder his sharp canine teeth.
"Maybe we could come to a deal. It seems money is a touchy subject to you, yes?" The blonde hissed in pain when she moved her right hand even the slightest inch. I didn't reply, my eyes were drawn to the amount of blood her hand was covered in. "I'll pay you" she spoke, gaining my attention once more, "$5 a day. If you help me. I'll give you the first three days right now if I could move my hand but as you can see, if I do that, I will bleed out" she offers.
"Once I have recovered you will never see of me again, I give you my word" she adds. $5 a day would really help Kate and I and by the looks of her wound, she could be here for weeks. "I know you're thinking about it but I do not have time for you to think" her thick Russian accent brings me out of my thoughts, I nodded as I slowly lowered my rifle.
"We best get you to the house then"
----
"I'm sorry if that hurt" I spoke softly to the blonde as I bandaged her up, after pulling the bullet from her wound and cleaning the area with alcohol, she suggested cauterizing the wound with a lit candle. The smell of burning flesh is something I will never forget. "Don't stress, I've experienced worse" she looked to me with a soft smile.
"How did this happen anyway?" I asked as I started to clean up the mess. I offered the woman my room until she was back on her feet, and I hoped Kate wouldn't have noticed when she came home.
"Just a little miss understanding with an outlaw. I'm a bounty hunter" she informs me.
"A bounty hunter? That's a little strange for a woman to be doing"
"Well, sometimes women just do a job better"
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. It's not often I meet women who aren't following the rules of society" My eyes dropped, I knew my comment offended her.
"You should travel more; you'd be surprised on what or whom you might come across. What's your name?" She pulled the covers up over her, making herself comfortable on my bed.
"Tell me yours and I'll tell you mine" I looked to her once more. She chuckled, "I'm Yelena, Yelena Belova. Your turn" she replies. I walked towards the bedroom door, my hands full of rubbish from cleaning her wound, "I'm Y/n, Y/n Bishop. I'll get you some water"
"Bishop" Yelena repeated, "your father is Derek Bishop?" she questioned. I nodded slowly, "you know him?" I asked. Yelena shook her head, "no, just heard of him in passing. Water would be great, thank you" she watched as I walked out of the room. Her tone made me question if she was telling the truth; did she know my father? Maybe she knew where my parents were?
Lucky followed me to the kitchen, I grabbed two cups of water and returned to my bedroom, placing one glass on the wooden beside table next to my lantern. "You should get some rest; I'll make breakfast in the morning" I looked to Yelena who reached for her coat that sat at the end of the bed. "As promised, the first three days" she says before handing me $15 dollars in 1 ten-dollar bill and a 5 dollar bill.
"T-thank you" I smiled softly, "do you like coffee? I could make some in the morning" I asked.
"Never start the day without one" she smiled, "goodnight, Y/n" she added.
"Goodnight" I walked towards the door, "oh, I hope you don't mind" I turned to face the blonde stranger once more, "I'm going to lock the door, you know…for safety" I added nervously.
"I thought you would. I understand, I need to gain your trust" she nodded slightly.
"If you need anything, just call out. I won't be far"
"Thank you, again" Yelena smiled once more before I closed the door, making sure it was locked before making my way to Kate's room.

Request Kate Bishop
1. Kate Bishop x reader Modern High School Soulmate. Kate finds her soul mate in the new high school student. Reader is Daisy Johnson's cousin and came to live with her cousin and her uncle and aunt who are May and Coulson while her parents are away on business. Kate is in the high school archery club. Reader could join the mechanics and football club as she is gifted in these areas. She is truly oblivious to Kate being her soul mate. The Avengers and Agents of the Shield team are either teachers or high school students.
2. Kate Bishop x reader! Archer. Reader is Clint's daughter but hasn't told Kate that Clint is her father and Clint doesn't know her daughter is dating someone. Kate and Reader have been dating since college. Reader plans to invite Kate over for Christmas to the Barton family. But Reader helps Kate with the tracksuit mafia. Clint is shocked that his daughter is dating someone. At the end, the reader invites Kate to her family for Christmas.
3. Kate Bishop x reader! Pyrokinesis. Reader is Daisy Johnson's little sister and an Inhuman who can control fire and is part of Team Coulson. The Avengers enlist SHIELD to help them on a mission where the reader is secretly dating Kate without Team Coulson and the Avengers knowing. The Coulson team are really protective of the reader, especially Daisy and the avengers of Kate because they're the youngest on the team, they met on a mission they both did, they fell in love with each other and from there they started dating. When they meet the avengers, Kate and the reader flirt the whole time and that's when the others find out they're dating.
Hey! I’m not very familiar with the Agents of Shield characters, but I did do #2 and you can find it here!

Alright friend, so when I was watching Hawkeye and it's the scene where he's talking with Kate about the cost of being a hero. It gave me an idea, so I was thinking kate, yelena and reader are on a mission to scout an abandoned hydra base or something. Kate and reader enter a room when they are looking at a computer, reader hears a bomb. They both look around and when they find it it's about to explode. So reader pushes kate out of the room and shuts the door to protect her or if you like it better I was also thinking of reader getting shot saving kate or something while fighting hydra agents. Anyway, however you want reader to get hurt. So then at the compound in the med bay, reader is on life support when kate calls clint and just starts breaking down saying how she understands the cost now. Clint ends up coming to the compound to help kate. Reader ends up being ok in the end though cause kate deserves to be happy. I was thinking for a title you could call it the cost or something like that. Sorry sounds cliché I know, especially the title. Anyway, you're the best 💖 Also bonus points for having reader be yelena's younger sister and sorry if I rambled to much
The Cost
Pairing: Kate Bishop x Super Soldier! Reader
Summary: After saving Kate from a bomb, it opens the archer’s eyes to a much, much bigger picture about her new job.
Angst | Fluff | Mentions of Blood | Medical Talk | They/Them Pronouns Used | 1.4K |
AC: Thank you for sending this! I’m so happy to do some more Kate content, I made reader a Super Soldier for this, I hope that’s okay x

Not a second thought went through your mind when you pushed Kate out of the room that held the data you and Kate were collecting. The bomb went off not even a second after Kate was pushed to safety, not leaving you a chance to get yourself to safety as the building fell on top of you. Kate was speechless as she searched the rubble for you, back up was on the way but even when they arrived, Kate didn't stop looking for you.
When you were found, all Kate could see was how much blood covered your body and instantly she thought the worst. Tears filled her eyes as the others made sure to get you to safety and take you back to the compound's medical center. Kate was beside herself as she waited outside your medical bay while the medical team did their best to keep you alive. If it wasn't for the fact that you were a super soldier, there would be no way you'd have survived the blast of the bomb.
It didn't matter how many times Kate replayed the situation over and over in her head, she knew you saved her life when you pushed her out the window of that room. Anytime Kate saw a nurse come out of the medical room, she would stop them and ask for an update but just like any hospital, they couldn't give the young archer any update until the doctor had completed the operation. Hours would pass before Kate would have any news on your condition.
"For now, they're in a medical induced coma to help their body heal. We won't know anything further until they wake up" Bruce explained to the team, but more so to Kate who felt sick to her stomach with worry.
You've been Kate's work partner for a little over a year now but only recently over the course of a couple of months have the two of you kindled a romance. Its new and exciting to the two of you which is why nobody else knew about it just yet. Besides, you'd be lying if you said you were slightly scared of what Clint might say considering how close he and Kate are. She's basically his adopted daughter and he's very protective of her.
"But they're going to be okay, right?!" Kate asked with a worried tone, she just needed Bruce to assure her that you were okay because she called the one person, she knew would help her through this situation.
"Right now, yes but until they wake up, we won't know if there us anything further that needs attention" he replied. It wasn't exactly jumping for joy news, but it was enough for Kate to calm down for a moment and excuse herself form the room.
"Clint, I need you to come to the compound, please" Kate's broken voice spoke through the phone.
"Is everything okay?!" Clint asked in an instant worried tone.
"I just…I need you here, I understand now" Kate replied.
"Understand what? Kate, are you okay? What's happened?"
"It all happened so fast, we were just getting data from this Hydra base when Y/n noticed an active bomb….it was already too late to run, they pushed me out the window before I had a chance to help them" Kate broke as she recalled the events that took place. Tears streamed down her face as she hoped you'd be okay. "The building just came down, there wasn't anything I could do Clint" Kate added in a sob, her words breaking with every tear that streamed down her face.
Clint gave the young avenger a moment of silence, already packing his overnight bag and writing a note for Laura to see later. "Kate, I'm on my way, okay?" he spoke, breaking the silence.
Kate nodded, even though she knew Clint couldn't see her action. "I need them to be okay" she sobbed.
"I know sweetheart, I know" Clint replied, not afraid to show her his caring side. "I'm on my way, just hang in there for me, can you do that?" he added.
"Yeah" Kate wiped her tears even though it felt pointless as more tears filled the place of the last ones.
----
Clint arrived and found Kate sitting by your bedside when her hand gently resting on top of your left, her thumb gently stroking your knuckles. The thought of you knowing she was by your side helped calm her wondering thoughts as she would tell you repeatedly how much she needed you to be okay.
"How are they?" Clint asked, quietly taking a few steps into the room. Kate looked up at him, her exhausted expression worried him. "Bruce said we won't know anything else until they wake up" Kate explained.
"What about you? Have you been checked out?"
"I'm fine, just a couple of cuts and bruises" Kate replied before she looked back at you, "they saved me Clint, without a second thought….they just pushed me out the window and I'm not sure how I didn't understand it before, but now I get it…this is the cost" Kate looked back at Clint with teary eyes, "I could lose them" she added.
"You can't think that way" Clint replied, placing a hand on her shoulder as he looked into her eyes, "yeah, this is the cost and there is a chance you or somebody on your team could lose their life but that's what makes you fight harder so that doesn't happen. Y/n's first thought was to protect you, to keep you safe and they did that. They are willing to risk their life to make sure you're okay and this is the cost they took. When it comes to life-or-death moments, there isn't time to think, you just do. This is why we train as hard as we do and why are so annoying with going over mission details to help prevent things like this happening." Clint added.
Kate's tears broke and once again formed another stream down her face as Clint wrapped his arms around the younger woman, holding her close for comfort.
----
6 months later and you were back on your feet like nothing happened, a few scars to remember but you made a full recovery.
"What's on your mind pretty?" you asked, breaking Kate's train of thought as she staired into space. "Huh? Oh, just you" she replied with a soft smile.
"That looked like some intense thoughts" you chuckled, "good ones I hope" you added. Kate wandered over to you and straddled your lap before softly pressing her lips against yours, "promise me you won't scare me like that again?" she spoke.
"What? Bring you back from your thoughts?" you asked, gently rubbing her back.
"No, I mean" Kate paused for a moment, "I don't want to lose you, ever! Clint told me something a couple of years back, you know, before I became an avenger. This job comes with a cost an-"
"Baby, listen to me" you stopped Kate's worrying thoughts leaving her lips, "it's going to take much more than a bomb explosion to get rid of me, I knew there was no way the two of us were going to get out of that room safely and I knew I'd have a much higher fighting chance at surviving the bomb because of the serum" you couldn't help by brush a lock of her long dark hair behind her ear.
"I wake up every morning worried that something might happen to you on a mission or just by doing day to day things, I wish I could protect you from every single thing but it's not how life goes but if I can protect you, I will, without a second thought" you added while looking into her eyes.
"But what if one day you don't make it? That's what I'm worried about baby" Kate replied as her hands rested peacefully on your shoulders. "Kate, honey, let's not think about the what ifs, let's think about the now. I'm here and I'm okay. You're here and you're okay, we have each other and to me, that's all that matters. I'm not going anywhere, I promise" you cupped her face gently, pulling her closer to your lips as you kissed her deeply. "I love you" Kate whispered between kisses. A smile tugged at your lips before you kissed her once more, "I love you too baby" you replied.
